Very good! The steak met my expectations, the fat melts in your mouth. The cheesecake was a bonus surprise, it had a hint of citrus which made it stand out.
Finally was able to try this place! The place was really nice, cozy and instagramable. The servers were attentive and really accommodating. The food tasted really good plus the serving size is huge.
The staff of the restaurant is very welcoming. The restaurant itself has a very chill ambiance. The place is perfect for date night, formal occasions and such... Their food are absolutely amazing from the side dishes to their steak.
Excellent delicious food, great staff, very helpful and accomodating, clean place. Me and my fiancรฉ rate it 10 stars. Thank you very much for helping my fiancรฉ find his pink ball item. ๐๐
We were just glad to finally satisfy our steak craving! eastwood is just near our home so we decided to get a quick fix steak. The place is classy with that hotel feel, the service is good, the food is good too. We had the dry aged steak for 3595 if im not mistaken at 220g, the price is steep but we were satisfied so i guess thats okay. Lol. We loved the bread and butter which is complimentary, the oysters are really good too! We will definitely be back soon, maybe this weekend. Lol
Best steak i ever had!! It just melts in your mouth plus the services given were outstanding. They were really attentive and provides you everything you need and asks for and more. I think they just hesitated a bit in the beginning seeing that we were young teenagers thus werenโt quick to welcome us. But overall, a 4/5
When it comes to eating REAL steak. My go to place is the House of WAGYU.
Once you tried their steak all other steaks will feel second rated.
My first experience with the steak was when a friend celebrated her birthday and treated us.
I was so happy and amaze with the taste and tenderness of the steak. It was indeed a happy memory for me.
So when thereโs a cause for celebration or a happy moment. I would always remember and consider house of wagyu.
Lately weโve been tired and busy taking care of our first born child.
And now that he has reached sixth month. I felt we deserve a break and enjoy some steak.
We are so happy and excited and our baby even participated for a while because he was sleeping.
We ordered grade 6 ribeye good for 2.
We had soup, bread and mussels for appetizers then the main dish arrived.
It did not fail me. It was so GOOD! Iโm satisfied with our order and the best part was. Even on a Sunday they have a 40% discount promo.
Double thumbs up. Good food + Good deal!
Weโll definitely be back for more happy experiences on more special occasions.
Had lunch her last Friday to celebrate my sisterโs birthday. Our ribeye had the right mix of meat and fat so every piece just melts in the mouth. The staff were very attentive and even offered to change our stone slab 3x so we can continue cooking our steak (we had 550gms, quite a feat to finish ๐). Highly recommended ๐๐
This is my go to place for premium Wagyu Steak. The food literally melts in your mouth. I have never tasted steaks as tender and juicy. Definitely, something to look forward to every special occasion.
PLACE - Semi formal, quiet and cozy.
STAFFES - Attentive and the food was serve in a formal way,
FOOD - Very good ๐
Had dinner with the family, we did not expect that the guests will be wearing semi formal to formal business attire ๐ we came in wearing walking shorts and sneakers, the servers were attentive from placing the napkins to serving food, quite expensive but then again it was my sister in laws blow out, ๐๐
Truly a fine dining experience! Ive been here twice and I would love to come again!
First of all the service is excellent as expected. The Grade 8 Ribeye (their bestseller) is truly a must try!! We also ordered Sirloin, which compared to the rib eye was more nakakaumay but both were absolutely delicious. The steak is placed on a stone grill and placed at the center of the table uncooked. The hot stone grill cooks the steak in front of you, so its up to you how you want your steak done! No disappointments of overcooked or undercooked steak.
The gambas is excellent!! It doesnt rely on the taste of the sauce to taste good. You can really taste the shrimp. The only setback is the portion. We made 3 orders of the Gambas since the portions were small. Each order of steak comes with soup and vegetables. If you order the steak good for 3, they will also serve you 3 soup and vegetables. We also ordered several salads and pastas and dessert: Flourless Chocolate Cake and the Panacotta. Both i recommend!! They are so so delicious.
I dont remember how much we paid the first time, but for our most recent visit, we paid 15k for 5 people. Yes, its very pricey, but for special occasions or for an excellent steak experience, i recommend giving this place a visit!
Here are photos. Some of them are kinda blurred because theyre screenshots from a "boomerang" post i made haha
First, i have to review the ambiance. Went there evening and it really made us feel like King and Queen. The place is posh matched by the service.
We had the soup, Escargot which i didn't like and a mid size and mid price range premium cut of steak.
I would only recommend this place for special occasions lang kasi pricey talaga ang food pero maganda naman ang place pati quality of service.
Eating the Grade 8 Ribeye (220g) P3250 is truly an experience. (Don't get the Grade 6 please!)
It's our third time here and we want to keep coming back! The only thing that's getting in the way is the price so we always take advantage when a discount is offered (right now, it's 40% off for ANY credit card).
Each order of steak comes with a bowl of soup, mashed potato and vegetables. As soon as the stones and meats get wheeled out, my tastebuds go on a party! It helps that you cook it on your table so it's hot and still tender.. although it can be painful too so the apron helps a lot!
Splash a little bit of rocksalt and enjoy!
Absolutely loved the steak here, it comes out on a hot stone for you to grill it to perfection. I must say one of my favourite parts was the wet wipe at the end but overall experience was awesome
The wagyu steak was predictably fantastic; the steak salpicao wasn't nearly as "there" for me though, but that's always been a struggle to find in any great steak place. What was also great was the service. I arrived early, they accommodated me and they built on my request to bring out my "surprise" when the steak was served.
The restaurant has a cozy and warm ambience. Its lighting is perfect for intimate dinners. We chose not to cook our wagyus anymore because we observed the diners from the table next to us and the smoke from their grill was blinding and choking. It took a while to chase the smoke off which is something they should do something about. They should probably move the diners who prefer to not smell of smoke to a different area in the resto. Their steak was tender and perfectly cooked (I had mine medium well) but I honestly had better steaks. Our total bill was about 12k for 5 of us, not bad.
We ordered the following:
Rockefeller oyster (5/5)
Raclette (3/5)
Alfredo con Funghi (4/5)
Pan Fried Norwegian Salmon (4/5)
Wagyu Salpicao (5/5)
Grade 6 Rib-eye (5/5)
My family enjoyed dining here! The experience of grilling your steak to your preferred taste is amazing as it is. Couple that with the very attentive staff who gave great service throughout the dinner (that we didn't have to ask for anything because they were just giving everything we need), the experience of dining at House of Wagyu is nothing short of spectacular. We even had a 10% discount! Thank you for capping off my graduation day with a dinner to remember. I have no photos to show of the dinner because we indulged ourselves as soon as the food arrived on the table. :)ย
I'm definitely coming back here.
We celebrated the birthday of my uncle as well as the graduation of my cousin here at house of wagyu. First, they served the appetizer which was a toasted bread and butter that was quite crunchy. It was followed by a pumpkin soup, their soup of the day, that was very creamy and tasty. After waiting for around 10 to 15 mins the main course has arrived on our table and the extremely hot stone was fun to watch while it was grilling the ribeye on top of it. Their steak was very tender, juicy and delicious! Lasty, their staff were very attentive and marvelous. We enjoyed it and will surely go back.

Went here with my family May 2016. We enjoyed the food and overall experience of the restaurant. Food is a bit pricy but worth it. We ordered the wagyu steak for sharing, seafood pasta, salmon, and Waldorf salad. Our bill was about 6k+. The staff is very nice and one of the best service I've experienced in s long time.
Because I closed a big account, I was able to invite my boss yesterday to eat dinner at Wagyu Stone Grill Libis. The ambiance was absolutely perfect. The steak were superb as expected. The service is great! The downside? I paid almost 12k for the party of 4....but well, what do you expect? It's presyong wagyu!
The best steak i have tried!! Love the complete course meal that comes with the steak. Ordered the rib eye 220g steak and it was delicieux!! โบ๏ธ
My friend and I went to House of Wagyu Stonegrill!!! Chills!!! Yey!!!๐๐๐
What's the big deal about Wagyu anyway? It's one of the most premium cuts of beef in the world. Wagyu literally means Japanese (Wa) cattle (Gyu)... The meat is marbled with unsaturated fat, with a higher percentage of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids... It's a better kind of fat than the usual beef we find in the supermarket. That's also the reason for the juiciness of the meat! Wagyu also has a distinctive flavor that is derived from the process of growing these cattle-- they are grain fed with minimal activity to keep the meat soft and tender...
So back to our steak lunch! House of Wagyu, here we come!๐
The restaurant itself is simple and very expansive, with a lot of seats available for their guests. It was decorated in muted colors, giving a feel of understated elegance. You know that it is fine dining all the way!
We were welcomed by Sonny and Gerald, their store managers. We were then led to a table overlooking the street. Their staff were very formal and very very nice... Our complimentary bread arrived immediately. Our glasses of water and iced tea soon followed. As for the food-- Bring it on!
๐ Pan con Tomato
An order comes with six bag slices rubbed with garlic and topped with cheese, tomatoes and anchovies. Each piece was like a mini pizza in taste and consistency. A good choice for an appetizer. I would have eaten more if not for the thought of the steak that was about to come!๐
๐ฒ Cream of Corn soup
We were served with their soup of the day... The presentation was really pretty that I hesitated to take my first sip! It was light, leaving lots of space in my tummy... I liked the subtle flavors of this soup!
๐ Grade 8 Wagyu Ribeye Steak (220g)
Why hello there, my precious!๐
It was a sight to behold... A beautifully marbled piece of meat sizzling on top of a slab of volcanic stone... It's an assault to the senses! The sizzle, the heat coming off of the stone, the slowly changing color of the Wagyu, and that smoky smell wafting across the restaurant! It is an experience in itself...
We took the obligatory pictures and watched as our steaks continued to cook... These volcanic rocks are actually heated on a special oven for around 6 hours and they retain heat for 20-30 minutes, allowing the meat to fully cook to your preferred doneness...
The staff briefed us on their suggested manner of eating the steak. The steak is only seasoned with salt and pepper, no gravy or sauces... They recommend that you slice small bite-sized pieces at a time to keep the meat from becoming overcooked... Don't slice the steak all the way through! Don't keep turning the steak either! Keep it simple and be careful of the hot stone!๐
It was phenomenal! Almost no resistance when slicing thru the meat... And it is absolutely true that it is soft, tender and juicy... Melt in your mouth piece of meat! The flavor was something else! No need for butter, herbs, steak sauce or gravy! Just pure meat goodness from start to finish! My friend and I even tried to cook the steak to well done and it maintained it's juiciness! So good!๐
The steak was so good on it's own, but the staff said that there are still some guests that prefer theirs' with steak sauce or Worcesterchire sauce... These are all available, but they do recommend at least tasting the wagyu by itself first...
By the way, the steak is served with your choice of sides... They served us baked potato and fries with veggies... Can't go wrong with a classic combination!๐
We were surprised when they brought out dessert! Both of us didn't think that dessert would be great at a restaurant that specializes in steak... But we were so wrong! Both desserts were served on the same natural volcanic stone, now frozen overnight to retain the cold... No need to hurry up taking pictures, because the ice cream barely melted due to the cold stone (yes, literally like it!๐)
๐ Poached Pears Ala Mode
Pears poached in a red wine reduction served with vanilla ice cream. If you prefer light desserts that aren't too sweet, this is the perfect way to end the meal...
๐ซFlourless Chocolate Cake
Their version can stand up to the best of them. The cake was scrumptious, dark chocolate cake with rich ganache in between the dense sponge. They incorporated rock salt to their recipe, which kept it from being one-dimensional... Paired with vanilla ice cream to keep it from being too salty... I really loved this one! I couldn't believe that each branch bakes their own cakes in the store... It's not outsourced and they don't have a commissary, you have to check them out if you want a taste...๐
By the way, if you are a meat lover but your SO or your family aren't, they do have salad, pasta and seafood available as well... Plus, they also have bigger cuts of their famed steak, good for sharing. They offer up to 750g, which is already good for 3 people to share... So don't hesitate to come over and try their food!๐ They have wagyu up to Grade12 available and let me tell you, Grade 8 is already impressive!
They even launched a discount/rewards card for frequent visitors of this restaurant... It's very pricey but a worthwhile experience!
Availed of their 40% off thanksgiving promo this Nov 30. Tried the Ribeye grade 8 Wagyu Beef. Very lovely. Super soft, chewy, melts-in-your-mouth real good Wagyu. It's price-y but this is as close as you'll get to legit Wagyu Ribeye. The ones served in Japan are in smaller strips. The cuts here are thicker. The stone grill makes for a unique cooking experience, though not as authentic as the Japanese grills I've seen. Yummy! I hope they run another special promotion soon. :)
well i couldn't ask for more. Great Food. Nice Place. And accommodating staff. They give justice for what you pay. Enough said. Just go here and eat guys!
I tried the Wagyu steak of House of Wagyu and was impressed with the quality served. The restaurant is quite expensive, and good for a treat yourself restaurant. Ambiance was lovely and would go back to celebrate a special day.
I love wagyu and whenever i go to Japan this is the first thing in my list to bring home. So looking at house of wagyu makes my heart melt already with so much joy. I tried the eastwood branch with some friends, the stone grill steak that i had is so good, wonderful enough that i'm willing to pay 5k for this 500g wagyu steak. The only thing i didn't like is that the servers are just few meters away from me and it's kinda weird coz i feel like they're eavesdropping or whatever in our conversation. Though they didn't react or whatever i'm just uncomfortable that they're looking at us the whole time we're eating, until i asked them to leave. But iverall experience with the food is great. Worth the price.
This is the place to go if you want to eat a very good steak and are willing to spend for it.
The restaurant has a nice, expensive feel to it. We felt the aroma of grilled steak even as we walked in the door.
We were determined to have steak and only steak! So we ordered the Ribeye Grade 8 350g to share (PhP 4,550). First we were served the cream of carrot soup with warm bread. The soup was excellent with a creamy feel and lightly sweet.
Then the raw Ribeye was wheeled in a trolley and placed on the stone grill. It was flipped over after a few minutes by the server. I loved the fact the stone grill was just hot enough to keep my steak medium rare and not overcook it.
The steak was well-marbled and literally melting-in-the-mouth. For the first time I appreciated that a premium steak does not need to be slathered with mushroom or other sauce. It tastes great by itself.
The sides were nothing to write home about and paled in front of the excellent steak. We had baked potato and potato wedges, for the record. I'd have really liked to have a better side like creamed spinach.
House Of Wagyu .... just go there for the steak!
The hubby and I had a date last Friday at the House of Wagyu Stone Grill in Eastwood Libis. He has already dined at the House of Wagyu in Podium and wanted me to experience it. Nothing special to celebrate so this is some sort of a #justbecause kind of date. I'll be sharing with you my "first time" and some tips for the first-timers on how to have a memorable Wagyu experience.
My second favorite branch after podium. I hate that I have to wait for special occasions just to come here. Their grade 6 rib eye is terrific!
So far the best steak I ever had. The meat is so tender and juicy. Very nice presentation as they cook the steak on a very hot stone. For me, steak is love and I will definitely come back here.

I can say that it's by far the best Wagyu Steak I've ever tried. Steak is so soft and the meat is very juicy. I was with officemates and Client the first time I tried this .I'm looking forward to try this out the 2nd time with my hubby coz I'm sure he'd love this more than I do. Something you can try if u wish to reward yourself from all ur hardwork.?

House of Wagyu
Very good service with a very good food especially their wagyu so delicious and juicy
Go for the steak and only the steak, because everything else sucks. And guys, go for the premium cuts no less than php:2500. Otherwise, go eat at house of minis and try to convince yourself that it's good. Needless to say leave the mushroom sauce and gravy for minis buffalo steak as well. Personally I love the fact that the hotplate cannot overcook the steak, finally perfect medium rare. I thoroughly enjoyed with a pricey bottle of wine.
So after driving up sales and financial performance for the month, Our COO invited us for a thanksgiving dinner. So here came the 12 or so heads all excited to take down a heavy foe - 220 grams of premium cut
Place was quite distinct, it being a steakhouse but what initially made notice to me was the clouting smoke from tables situated in different corners of the venue. Well, found it cool and was still hell bent onto tackling my steak. I found the service quite stiff despite the lady server preppin' me up with a bib like a baby about to get my daily dose of gerber. I guess I was just too particular with sincerity and spontanaeity in the level og service provided, after all, I've been in that portfolio all my life.
Then came my soup. Thickness spoke well about the creaminess and that absolute strike in saltiness. The chunks took it home! I was awed by the " On the Brick " concept of cooking the steak. Gave me that autonomy to cook it according to the degree I wanted. I poured an avalanche of mushroom gravy and watched the steak sizzle ad the smoke blanketed me. Did some more tweaking to its seasoning and started devouring on it while leaving its other portions to cook further on the brick. The tenderness of the meat was never an issue! I didn't expect it to be as filling as the slabs I usually battle but it did. Liked the synergy between the beef and gravy plus the way I burnt it. Am certain the brick played a good role too. Creme Brulee was 5 star hotelesque both on presentation and taste! I couldn't stop diggin' into the cup. Overall, was satisfied and filled up and may comeback but will be lookin' forward to better ventilation.
Have you noticed that there are a lot of steak places around lately?
There's this craving for great steaks, and Wagyu Stone Grill in Eastwood Mall offers a very interesting and yummy concept. It serves Wagyu Steaks raw, placing them on top of a hot stone grill, and letting the meat cook right in front of you. You can choose from New York Strip, Top Sirloin or Rib Eye cut for your Wagyu (which is available in 220g and 350g).
The Wagyu Stone Grill steaks are recommended if you can withstand the smoky smell on your clothes afterwards and if you can be patient with the service.
Wagyu Stone Grill is the same company as the House of Wagyu in Podium. It has a high ceiling setup but has very poor ventilation. Be prepared to smell like steak after eating here.
It has a simple menu, which offers steak, salad, seafood and pasta
You can reserve the private room in the corner of the restaurant. I was forewarned about the quality of the service, especially during peak hours and when they are serving a lot of people
Wagyu Top Sirloin 220g
When ordering Wagyu, it is best to order the meat with a lot of marblings of fat. But I choose the sirloin because it is a leaner cut of meat for health purposes. On hindsight, I should have ordered the fatty cut like Rib Eye or the New York Strip.
As previously mentioned, the meat is served raw and placed on top of the stone grill. In just a few minutes, one side is cooked already and the server would usually be kind enough to turn it over for you.
The steaks are served with soup, potato, vegetables and the gravy sauce for the steak
After slicing the meat, one would usually sear the ends of the steak on the stone grill.
By the way, some people prefer that their steak remains on top of the stone grill, which cools off after a while. Otherwise, you can transfer your steak to a plate so as not to overcook it.
As for me, after dipping the meat in the mushroom sauce, I would sear it again to get the "sizzling sauce effect" before eating it.
The Wagyu steak slices off easily and you can eat it without the gravy sauce because it is yummy on its own.
Wagyu Salpicao - Cubes of Wagyu striploin sauteed in garlic and extra virgin olive oil and served with "Wagyu rice".
We were torn between the salpicao and the burger. We decided not to order the burger because it is usually formed from the excess cuts of the wagyu meat. The salpicao was a better but more expensive choice.
When our order arrived, the meat was drowning in the oil, which my wife did not like. The Wagyu stone grill steaks are yummier than the salpicao. You'll notice the difference and wish that you did not order the salpicao. :(
