The feeling of being outside of the city but festing on with mouth watering food like seafood spaghetti, honey-baby back ribs, seafood mushroo-broccoli, gambas, crispy pata, seafood soup, iced tea superb, wow.

Went here with my husband last Valentines Day. We were super satisfied with their meals. We ordered Ribs (super yummy and generous serving),Pizza, Pasta, Cheesestick, Kalamansi Drink and Ice Tea. The foods were delicious! Well prepared! The place was also relaxing, romantic and rustic! Perfect place for catching up and quality bond! Good thing they accept reservations. Even though it was Valentines day we did not have a hard time and everything went smoothly. The staffs were also approachable and sensitive to customer's needs. They are focused on serving, and they serve very well! Will definitely go back.

The place is a house converted into a restaurant. I like that, it adds charm to the place. They also have rooms you can reserve if you are a big party and it feels like you're hanging out at someone's home. The food and drinks are good with a reasonable price. I specifically like the ribs and the calamansi-strawberry drink.

A favorite. Pretty affordable for the quality of food that they serve. Among those we’ve tried: Porkchop Steak + Dong Juan Fried Rice are clear winners! They also have remarkable service. Everybody is courteous and polite, trying to be helpful in little ways.
We had our dinner here with the kids after school, we ordered gambas pasta, bacon burger, porkchop, mushroom with brocolli, calamares, mozarella stick and bangus well we like the pasta, burger porkchop. Price is reasonable. And we use zomato gold but. Pizzas and best seller are not included. Service is. Super nice place had a nice ambiance its a old house turn into a resto.

Already my fourth time to visit. Good food. Sisig Tasted good but a bit on the fatty side. Shrimp pasta was excellent. The shrimps were fresh. Would always come back.
It looks like a house that has been converted into a restaurant. The wood panels and interiors all the more make it homey and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The establishment has no designated parking but you may park parallel to the street or use the opposite lane at the side of St. Mary’s. I love their baby back ribs (caution: it is not included in the 1 + 1 promo for Zomato Gold members) and pizza (choose the biscuit dough).

Overall, we had a good experience with Dong Juan. The dishes were good, albeit serving size isn't big (hence why I docked one star). We used our Zomato Gold here and had a total bill of PHP 1370 (super cheap considering we ordered 8 dishes). Initially, they made a mistake when discounting our bill with Zomato Gold, but after we told the waiter, they quickly changed the bill
We got the following dishes:
1. Steamy seafood soup 269: good for sharing (there were 5 of us). Marami naman laman but the vegetables weren't very fresh
2. Cebu native chorizo pasta 229: I loved this! Marinara sauce never tasted so good 3. Gambas AL ajillo pasta 299: Hmm this was a very light pasta. It was good but not memorable
4. Pork chop steak 179: Masarap BUT super small serving. I don't think it was even enough for one person
5. Sizzling milk fish with garlic bits 279: Not bad, I liked the flavor!
6. Filipino sisig in olive oil 179: bit of a letdown. I wouldn't reorder this again
7. Calamares with sweet chili sauce 209: OK Lang, typical fried Calamares. The sweet chili dip was good though
8. Warm brownie melt 129: typical but very small serving size

Was looking for a new restaurant to try out. Dong Juan had a calm and house feel atmosphere. The place is like a house that was turned into a fine dining place. Food was good and delicious. Servings are just about right and price is alright. Definetly I will be visiting again.
Kudos to the management especially to Papa Ahwel Paz. I super enjoyed my dining experience here. The whole place is charming. I particularly like the design aesthetic of Dong Juan in QC.

For the food, we ordered spicy shrimp with crab roe and mushroom burger. The spicy shrimp with crab roe tasted more like shrimp than crab but it was still good. The serving size of the mushroom burger was big. The shiitake mushroom was overcooked. The patty was thick but a bit salty. It was served with fries and mayo dip.

It's been quite a while since my last visit here. Some good things remain the same: the ambiance, attentive service, and good food. The ribs is still great. The seafood soup as part of the group meal can be better. I love the crunch and freshness of the broccoli.
I was a bit bothered by the noise of the squeaky floor upstairs. Kudos for maintaining a spotless, well-stocked, and orderly restroom.
Ate here using Zomato Gold. Ordered pork chop and shrimp. I can say their serving is generous for the price. The food we ordered were delicious too. Ambience is great. Service is fast.

Starting with the bangus dish we ordered, the aroma makes you want to taste it immediately - even while you’re waiting for the other set of dishes!
Of course, we ordered THE BABY BACK RIBS! Sooo much better than other “ribs-known” restaus and hey the PRICE is RIGHT!
It is my first time to try their fried chicken, thought it’s the usual fried drumsticks ——- but damn! The gravy and the chicken itself explodes with spices, and the chicken’s skin is crunchy (walang harina!) Hay perfect! Sorry. Medyo oa but it’s really good. #NoBias

Service and ambience is good! We ordered baby back ribs and 3 sausages pizza using Zomato Gold. I love the ribs because it was were moist and tender and tasty! Mejo bitin lang sa dressing yung side dish na salad. Pizza was ok. Definitely will come back, maybe we'll try their 🍔 and pasta naman.
I ordered the asian wings, mushroom burger, mozarella sticks and pochero. The only disappointment was the pochero due to the being dry. Although it was swimming in gravy, I still prefer some juiciness when I bite into the meat.

This place surprised me and my family. The food was great. The price was affordable and the service was awesome!
The baby back ribs were tender and the bbq sauce was sweet; the crispy pata skin was crunchy and the meat was juicy; the beef soup had a twist in it as it was sweet, salty and a bit sour making the broth rich in taste; the shrimp poppers were cooked to perfection. The breading wasnt oily and the shrimps were fesh and werent overcooked; the gravy sauce of the pork steak and burger steak were heavenly and went extremely well with the hot fried rice! We also ordered the mug cake (velvet flavor topped with ice cream) and it was amazing!
The staff were courteous and friendly. A couple of them were trainees and still didnt know the menu well but were polite enough to excuse themselves, asked about our inquiries and promptly got back to us with satisfactory answers

My friends and I love this place because it has always felt like home to us (being near our alma mater). The ambience is so cozy and the staff are all friendly. Best part of any visit here is the dark fudge mug cake for dessert.
The food overall was mediocre. The Dong Juan rice has always been my favorite.
However, it was bland and lacked its signature flavor during my most recent visit.
A great place to get lunch or dinner. The place has an al fresco area as well as function rooms for events. The food is well priced and worth it. Been coming here for years and food stays consistently delicious.

Food is a bit pricey for its Quality. Ordered the baby back Ribs but its a bit overcooked.. but really love the taste. Sayang lang If mas maganda sana luto.. it would be the best ribs for me. Family gatherings is sometimes unpredictable same as the weather these days. But one thing is constant, no matter what the unexpected is and whether it is raining or not, we stay hungry. (For some very cute reason, always). So here's a review for a family favorite restaurant in Quezon City on a rainy day.
What I really love about their place is that they have private spaces for parties, gatherings, meetings and celebrations! Been here twice last weekend and I would really recommend this place :)

Staff who attended to us are friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the food and history of the house where the restaurant sits. Food presentation needs a little oomph. Drink presentation though is interesting. Serving size is good value for money. Food taste is also excellent. Particularly enjoyed the serving size of the ribs but is a little too sweet for my taste. I've been passing by this area countless times and I have not tried dining at Dong Juan until I checked the partner restaurants of Zomato Gold and this place was the litmus test for my membership. I asked first the crew if I can use my Zomato Gold and he asked the one manning the counter and he told me "paki unlock na lang daw po." and legit as it is! I got 1+1 on food and my friend was amazed.
The staff of Dong Juan from their security guards and servers were all attentive and courteous. The food was comforting as it is. I tried the Fried Chicken Wings (Php199.00), Filipino Sisig in Olive Oil (Php159.00), Chicken Nuggets (Php199.00), Baby Back Ribs in Barbecue Sauce (Php299.00), Lemon Iced Tea (Php49.00), Creme Brulee (Php129.00) and Mug Cake (Php199.00)
I particularly love their fried chicken for its classic and "lutong bahay" taste and also the buttery and creamy gravy that goes with it. The Baby Back Ribs was tender and juicy, though too sweet but Goldi loved it. The sisig was also delicious but there was too much fat in it.
Will definitely comeback to try the rest of their menu. I love the homey feel of the place that reminds me of my lola's house.

Along Mother Ignacia Avenue is a hidden gem of a resto called Dong Juan. Despite the number of avid food adventurers among my coworkers, only a few of them are actually familiar with it. So it was incumbent upon your friendly neighborhood Jellybeans to introduce the resto to them. (Also, the resto offers a 1+1 deal via Zomato Gold. Since two among our group of four are Zomato Gold members, we figure that we will get significant savings on out visit.)
One of the best pizzas I’ve tasted is from here. Their food is great and I also love the ambiance. Traditional filipino yet classy dining experience.

It was a delighful experience visiting this place. I love how relaxing the ambiance was. The place was spacious and clean. The menu was quite limited, although reasonably priced. I ordered Chili Wings, Ribs in BBQ sauce, and Linguine with meatballs. The servings were good for 2-3 persons. Food taste above average. The Staffs are very friendly and efficient.
A restaurant along Mother Ignacia that serve good and affordable food. We always order their carbonara, baby back ribs, fried rice, fish and chips, kalamansi blush (with strawberry puree) and mug cake. They have function rooms for meeting and private events.
Parking is along the side of the street but they have security guards so you don't have to worry about your car.

We tried this place just because they’re offering discounts in Eatigo. I checked them out in Zomato before going there and their food actually looks promising, and I was also impressed by the high ratings they got. When we got to the place, it actually felt very cozy especially when they seated us in one of the nooks by the window. The staffs, especially the guard, were very friendly.
Going through their menu, I was torn between trying out their pizza and pasta or what they claim to be their signature dish of burgers. I decided to try the latter. My husband also had their burger steak. The cheeseburger I ordered was pretty big and filling. The patty was also juicy and had a very beefy flavor, unlike others that tasted like it has a lot of extenders. My only comment about their cheeseburger is the bun. They used wheat bun, but the texture if it was dry so it somehow downgraded the flavor of the beef patty and the cheese. I think if they use a better bun, their burgers would be so much better.
Their burger steak was also pretty good. It’s basically the same patty used in my cheeseburger, but it’s served with gravy on a sizzling plate. It’s very flavorful and goes well with rice.
I also got to try their fish fillet, which I really loved. The breading had the perfect crunch and with the right thickness too. The fish inside was also very juicy and not overcooked. This was supposed to be served with fries, but we chose to have it with rice instead.
Their kalamansi blush was pretty good. It’s a combination of calamansi and strawberry, which actually goes pretty well. The waiter said it’s supposed to be a combination of calamansi concentrate and fresh calamansi, but you can request for them to use all fresh calamansi instead.
The only downside of the place is parking. They don’t have their own parking so you have to park along the street. But they have their friendly kuya guard who’d be more than willing to assist you.
We had late lunch here yesterday. We went here to try their food because we are looking for a venue for my son's 10th birthday. When I saw this on zomato. I fell inlove with the ambiance. I think its pefect for a venue. We ordered gambas pasta, pork chop steak, cheese and garlic pizza and brownie melt. We love all the food. Only one comment with the brownie melt I hope they make the brownie moist to blend well with the ice cream because its dry and hard to chew. Overall I love the experience we had. For the food price its reasonable and worth the money not expensive. The place was very relaxing and interiors are great. This place is perfect for family and friends gathering because they have rooms for celebrations. Staffs are friendly and very accomodating.

Linguine Meatballs in Marinara Sauce - we didn't actually enjoyed it since were not that fond of authentic Italian pasta. I can only taste the tomatoes. But its not that bad cause their meatballs is actually good.
Kalamansi Blush Drink - fusion of calamansi and strawberry juice. Not that good but somehow refreshing. Its sour flavor is good for the body tho.
Mug Cakes (Dark Fudge) - a hot fudge cake served in a mug topped with vanilla ice cream. It tastes just right because the cake is not so sweet as well as the ice cream. And I liked its uniqueness.
I so love this place, very simple and elegant. Food are good as well. Food are really worth it. Burger steak is ftw. Good place to hang out with friends with beer or coffee, but the price for a beer is too expensive compared to their food. Hoping they will adjust their price for a beer ahahah 🤪

American Comfort found in a Filipino Home
Product: Dong Juan, originated from Cebu, provides American comfort food with various Asian and some European twists. They go from Filipino to Korean to Japanese cuisines, all of them having a taste of quality and a quantity that will satisfy your hungry belly. I've only been hearing nice things about Dong Juan so I decided to finally try them out for lunch.
Filipino Sisig in Olive Oil (Php 159.00): is basically your regular sizzling sisig with a cup of rice. It tasted like a "pulutan" sisig so it would be perfect at night with a glass or bottle of your beer with your order. I definitely preferred it better with kalamansi.
I was very happy with their Burger Steak (Php 159.00): it is also placed on a sizzling plate, swimming in gravy with pieces of fried potato chips. The beef was thick but cooked well. It wasn't oily either so I didn't feel greasy by the end of the meal. I loved the gravy! Uggh. I think it's their own recipe which makes it even better. I could tell no traces of instant powder mixed in.
We also had a piece of Warm Brownie Melt (Php 129.00): for dessert. It was okay, it had lots of nuts and the brownie was firm and chewy. The ice cream makes it a whole lot better because the brownie was a little bitter and the vanilla was a good balance to that taste.
Venue: I first stumbled upon Dong Juan in Marikina at Lamp Quarters but it wasn't open then so I was happy to know that they also have a branch here at Tomas Morato and apparently around other places too. This branch was a renovated house turned into a restaurant so it felt very homey. The servers are very prompt and the service was okay. We were the first customers at that day so we understand why it took a while for our food to be served.

I kinda got used to having so-so food around the area so i was really surprised that their food was great. Didnt order a lot since i was there for a late meetup with friends. I ordered their cheeseburger and spanish chorizo pasta. Didnt disappoint. Will get back here for a full meal 😋 my friends loved their calamansi slush.

If you’re into antiques and appreciate history, you’ll be amazed knowing that this place was an old house of the Father of Tagalog Zarzuela, Severino Reyes. I so love the idea of them preserving what they can within the house. They turned each room into function rooms as well so this is perfect for big groups. We were able to taste some of their amazing food. To start, we had:
Dong Juan Ultimate Bacon Burger - Thick patty rolled within Bacon topped with Bacon with fresh vegetables and special sauce. This is over a quarter pound of tender and flavourful patty. It comes with chips on the side.
Korean Burger - They might use the same patty but I love this and I prefer this much more. Kimchi doesn’t have that usual spiciness to it. Just the right amount. I highly recommend this for Korean at heart or just those who wanted something else on their burger.
Gambas Al Ajillo Pasta - Generous amount of shrimp in al dente pasta topped with Bonita Flakes. I am just not very fond of Bonito Flakes but overall, this is appetizing too.
Linguine Alle Vongole - My personal pick. The white wine made sure to omit whatever clam has. Clams were cooked perfectly. This is so good. A must try.
3 Sausage Pizza - I am digging their biscuit dough because it crispier topped with 3 different kinds of sausages and cheese.
Dong Juan All Meat Special - Cheesier with Salami, Pork, Beef, and Pepperoni. It has oregano and basil as well. This must be one of their best sellers as it tasted really good.
Kalamansi Blush - At the bottom, you’ll have strawberry fruit marinated in honey and then fresh Calamansi Juice on top. You need to crush the fruit to have that blushing effect. This drink is perfect nowadays as this is a good source of vitamin C.
I can’t wait to bring my family and friends here and bond over food and just relax at the homey ambiance of the place.

That Dong Juan at Mother Ignacia Ave. in Quezon City is in a converted mid-century grand house is not a coincidence as regulars from nearby schools, houses and establishment have made it their third place while waiting for loved ones or simply dining and enjoying one’s company. It is also a favorite venue for movie and tv scenes so you just may catch a celebrity or two as well.
After you’re done admiring the pretty interiors, feel free to indulge in Dong Juan’s sumptuous dishes. Here’s a tip for you - they have really, really good burgers. The Dong Juan Ultimate Bacon Burger (P299) has fresh veggies, a nicely seasoned 1-inch thick quarter pounder beef patty, cheese and bacon. The Korean Burger (P289) was surprisingly good as well (and I am not a fan of Korean food) with the same thick patty and kimchi that balanced the other elements of this bun sandwich. With the Kalamansi Blush (P89), a concoction of fresh kalamansi juice and strawberries preserved overnight in honey to balance out the richness of the dishes, it’s easy to see why they have a lot of converts.
If you’re a bigger group, it’s a good idea or try out their biscuit dough thin crust pizzas. We tried the Dong Juan All-Meat Special (P359) and the 3-sausage Pizza (P369). These can serve up to 4 people. These pizzas may run to the salty side as they likely use the more common cheddar cheese rather than mozzarella which most of us are used to in other restaurants. It feels fun though, as I remember those homemade pizzas we used to make.
If you’re not in the mood for pizza or burgers, you can try their pastas. The Gambas Al Aillo (P269,) and Linguine Alle Vongole (P289) are both light and flavorful with the fruits of the sea. There are subtle differences in the flavor (one is shrimp and the other one bonito flakes and clams) but they’re both mild and let the seafood be the star. And I like that the pasta is firm and not soggy at all.
And since you’re there for comfort food, might as well go all the way with their Asian Style Crspy Pork Knuckle (better known as Crispy Pata at P489). This one manages to be crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. This is one crispy pata where the skin stays crispy for a long, long time.Of course, by then, nothing but the bone remains.
And to cap off a nice meal, try one of Dong Juan’s mug cakes - microwave-baked cake with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream. it’s rich, decadent and very comforting.

I am amazed how they converted Lola Basyang's ancestral home into an amazing restaurant which is also great on its own merit. Ideal for families, couples, or even friends who just want to hang out and have great food. We had the chance to try out some of their food and I must say that the I enjoyed them all. From burgers, to pasta, and of course pizza.
For burgers, we tried the Dong Juan Ultimate Bacon Burger which consist of a thick burger patty with bacon and some tomatoes, cheese, lettuce for good measure. The result is an awesome burger packed with flavors. The meat is very tasty oozing with juices. The Korean burger is also a quarter pound burger patty just like the Ultimate Bacon Burger but with some Korean flair due to the kimchi relish and korean pancakes. If you love burgers and have an affinity for Korean food, you can try this. It's the best of both worlds if you ask me.
They serve pastas as well and for this trip, we had Gambas Al Ajillo Pasta and Linguine Alle Vongole. The gambas pasty is your shrimp pasta which is oil-based. The shrimp is cooked perfectly, not rubbery and the flavor isn't too overwhelming. My favorite is the Linguine Alle Vongole pasta which is seafood based with clams, garlic, and white wine. I always loved vongole pasta so it's good to know that they also serve it there. Seafood pasta at its finest! No fancy sauce, just in some oil, white wine and maybe some stock for that fresh clam taste.
Pizza is next on our list and we got the Dong Juan All Meat Special and the 3 Sausage Pizza. Their pizza in general has a thin crust and very crispy. I firmly believe that the pizza is God's gift to mankind so it should be really good and I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint me. While they don't have any extra gimmicks on the pizza except that it is nice and thin, what you get is an awesome pizza that you love since day 1. I suggest you get the Dong Juan All Meat Special since you get to taste everything you love in a pizza.
Our fellow foodies recommended their Crispy Pata as well and yes, it really is good. The meat is very tender and the skin is crispy. It is not that oily and it is perfect if you dine there as a group since the serving is generous. They include your all-time favorite "sawsawan" of soy sauce with chopped onions and chili. Remember to order some rice to enjoy this more.
I enjoyed their Kalamansi Blush drink which is basically calamansi juice with some strawberries infused with honey. You have to crush the strawberries first so that you get an even taste of sweet and sour. It isn't that sour maybe because the honey and strawberries really blended with the sourness of the calamansi.
Overall, I recommend this restaurant especially if you are from Quezon City. It is easy to locate (just in front of St. Mary's school in QC) and very ideal for families or even dates. The staff are very accommodating and they make their guests feel at home. Good food and excellent service, this one gets major props for sure!

This place is perfect for dates, family gatherings, meetings and etc. The fact that the establishment is preserved from the original house of Lola Basyang or known as Severino Reyes makes the restaurant interesting itself. The ambiance is like you’re just at home and eating really good food.
I was able to try their pizza, pasta, burger, crispy pata and red velvet mug cake. All I can say is that, EVERYTHING was delicious. My most favorite is their PIZZA and PASTA.
Their PIZZA is made in biscuit dough which I love. I tried their 3 sausage pizza and Dong Juan All Meat Special. Both of them are very cheesy since it goes with 3 kinds of cheese. You can really taste the sausages on the pizza. With the Dong Juan All meat Special, there’s a hint of spiciness but it’s really good and very meaty.
Their PASTA that I was able to try was Gambas Al Ajillo and Linguine alle Vongole. The Gambas has a rich taste of the shrimp, it’s not that oily and cooked perfectly. The Linguine Alle Vongole, has A LOT of clams, very tasty and a bit spicy.
Their BURGER is served in a quarter pound that is extra juicy and pure beef patty. I tried their Korean Burger and Dong Juan Ulimate Bacon Burger. The Dong Juan Ultimate Bacon Burger was very tasty, the patty was topped and wrapped in bacon, I liked the fresh tomatoes with it and it goes with sidings of potato chips. The Korean Burger has a kimchi, patty, then korean pancakes. Though I don’t really like eating kimchi, I liked this one because it goes wel with the taste of the patty and korean pancakes with just a hint of spiciness.
The Kalamansi Blush was an exciting experience because before you drink it you have to crush the
Strawberries first that was infused with honey overnight. The Kalamansi juice was fresh and it tastes better with the strawberries.
Their service was great, the staff was accommodating, recommending the food that we can try and they were explaining the history of the restaurant.

Your home away from home! Aside from good tasting food and a boosting ambience, a great restaurant must always have great service. The servers are happy to serve and quick on their feet. I accidentally spilled ketchup on my clothes and it took less than 5 seconds for a server to pass me a chunk of tissue! Service aside, let's go to their best sellers MUST TRY:
- Crispy Pata (489php) CRUNCHY and not only that, a cut from the fork to get a piece of the tasty meat would suffice.
- Dong Juan Ultimate Bacon Burger (299php). Korean Burger (289php) It's a matter of preference whether you want an asian inspired or american burger as the bun and patty are much alike. The one inch thickly sliced patties are VERY juicy. Even after being exposed to air, a quick slice releases the juicy filling.
- Linguine Alle Vongole (289php) ABUNDANCE IN CLAMS. Just this comment will convince you to get this. Must order if you are fond of clams, white wine and garlic in pasta.
- Kalamansi Blush (89php) RECOMMENDED! Fresh frozen strawberries submerged in calamansi juice (or you can ask the server to serve them separately). The sweet strawberries are then crushed to balance out the sourness of the calamansi, producing the blush as per the drink's name.
- Dong Juan All Meat Special (369php) is filled with a lot of meat such as beef, pork, herbs and cheese, but is a misnomer as there are olives and bellpeppers in it. Though on the bright side, the nice thing with this restaurant is that you can customize your pizza! Have some ingredients opted out, or added, it's up to you. 3 Sausage Pizza (369php) is the cheesier one and i'd pick this over the other, but tastes almost identical to the all meat special.
- Gambas Al Ajillo Pasta (269php) fresh shrimp and garlic sprinkled with bonito flakes. For those who like a little seafood smelling and tasting dish.
For dessert, try their Mugcakes with vanilla ice cream (199php) in different flavors: Red velvet, smores, crunchy cookie butter, dark fudge, salted caramel.
Dong Juan gives out a homey vibe, mixing both brick and wood interior design as well as artifacts from Lola Basyang (Severino Reyes). Fun fact: this was originally his house! The restroom is pretty neat and the faucet an amusing contraption. Wifi is available which is a plus plus, and several rooms to choose from in case you want to hold meetings or any celebration/gathering. The only downside would be the parking, with limited slots along the road, but they are working their best to fix this, and in case of trouble, the guard and staff are always willing to help out.

Dong is a term of endearment in Cebu. Then Juan is a common Filipino name. So that’s how Dong Juan came about. Some people confuse it as a Korean restaurant because of the world Dong but don’t be fooled they serve comfort food with Filipino twist. The first branched open in Guadalupe, Cebu and this is their 11th branch that opened 3 years ago.This Mother Ignacio branch is the Ancestral property of Severano Reyes the original Lola Basiyang.
They maximized the original space and setup it up with chairs, tables and some areas coach with Filipino inspired pieces around the restaurant. Their goal is to provide a Filipino homey vibe. We met one of the owners, Ahwel, he explained thoroughly the history and stories how they started this branch. Not only that it is a pet friendly place too so you can bring your pets while having a good meal.

My cousin ordered sisig, backribs, chicken wings, pasta. The whole meal was delish. The ambience of the resto feels like home. We sat on the sofa with the small table and stayed for 3 hours chatting.
Dong Juan provides good ambiance and good food at a low price. Their drumstick chicken is of good quality but their gravy needs improvement. The seafood we ate (which I thought would have more than just shrimp) luckily is a good dish. Their staff are also very accommodating and responsive. A must try gem!!!

Filipino Sisig in Olive Oil (3/5)
The serving and dish in itself is worth its price! It could actually be shared if you’re not super hungry. It also comes with white rice! For the flavor, it’s on the sour flavorful side. It’s not your usual salty garlicky sisig which i prefer more but this works just fine. It doesn’t have extenders and it has quite a lot of onions.

It’s cheesy but i don’t think they used mozarella. It says all meat so i kind of expected a good amount meat; but it was just a few pieces of ham and sausage. BUT I LOVE THE DOUGH! If you love thin crust then you’d probably love it!

This place is our family's favorite. Nice place to catch up or dine casually. Almost every food we've tried is good especially their ribs. Try also their brewed Iced tea, it's the best one I've tried so far; and their mug cake.

Instagrammable place, nice service and okay food. A bit pricey for the taste value. But I do recommend the mug cakes, especially the chocolate mug cake which is gooey and chocolatey. The burger steak is also great, you can really taste the beef and the sauce is also tasty. I also love the mozarella sticks because it is freshly made and not just reheated. The place also has this homey and quiet atmosphere which I love.
All in all, this place is okay for dining experience once in a while.

Comfort food? You would definitely find one here. They have burgers, they have pizza, they have pasta, but my most favorite one is THAT CRISPY PATAAAA. It was super crispy on the outside yet with soft and moist meat inside. It was definitely worth it. Plus the place itself is really nice with picture perfect backdrops for date nights or group hangouts or even when you are alone.
Value for money. Good, efficient service. Adequate portions. Homegrown gem. Homey ambiance. Been here twice, will be back again for sure....
I love the burgers. We had the shrimp poppers, a classic burger, and the other burger with bacon. Both burgers are really good but i like the classic one better bcs I just want to savor the patty without getting distracted from the added bacon. The patty is just really juicy and omg omg tasty.
I only do negative reviews but Dong Juan is an exception. Chic, one of the owners, took time to talk to us and asked if we were okay with the baby and all that pasipsip shit. If there was a score 10, I would give it a 10. For now, I give it a 5 because of an amazing customer service. Fifteen years from now, when my daughter is already a teen, I would ask her to rate you a 5 to complete the 10 points.
I see Dong Juan whenever I go at Respite. I was told by Jessica (the baker behind Respite's Chunky Cookies) that they have a great Burger Steak so I tried it.
The ambiance is so homey and chill. They have several pieces of art around to distract your eyes as you wait for your food. The staff are also friendly and they are nothing but wonderful.
So, I had the Burger Steak which I can say have a great serving and generous serving of gravy. It didn't give me that umay feeling. I am happy that the pork is not that oily but I felt that it was too dry that I needed more gravy. 'Coz honestly, the Burger Steak is so good even without the gravy. I also love their homemade iced tea. It was rich in citrus flavor. And credits to it for healing my cough.
I had a good time here, I recommend the Onion Rings & their Herb infused Iced Tea. The ambience is great, not too crowded. Overall it was a great experience.

Had a pleasurable dinner in this place. It's one of those houses in the Scout area in QC, transformed into a restaurant. Came with a friend and we ordered their Caesar salad, pasta with some chorizo, and their pizza. The flavors suited my palette.
Parking may be a challenge though.
Love this place! The ambience is so homie! The price of the food is really budget-friendly and they have a very generous serving of food! The staff also are very maasikaso! Love the ribs, their alio olio pasta, salad and also their rice (I forgot what they call it) but it's all good!
It was my first time to dine here the other night. They have a nice ambiance. We ordered baby back ribs, sisig, fish and chips, burger steak and pizza. Personally, I like their pizza and burger steak.
