The restaurant and staff are folding bike friendly. One of the staff who is a biker also noticed on my bike it's missing a knot bolt. Buti na lang nakita niya. If not, I could get into an accident. Thank you. I will recommend this to my network. :)
During our Mand. City's Cultural Mapping Seminar-Workshop, I presented the topic regarding cuisine and I told our NCCA guests that Aling Tonang's Pancit Palabok is the best & its really a cultural heritage. So I asked them to taste it and their rating was EXCELLENT!

A very good friend invited me to eat at Aling Tonang’s. A humble place bursting with a big heart as evidenced by each and every sumptuous meal. Simple yet savory. Jenny, the owner is why people keep coming back and why the place is still a huge success. Our lunch was made special with her bubbly presence and colorful story of how each meal is prepared with care, love and authenticity. We had her caldereta and pata. Sorry, I don’t have a picture as we devoured it the moment the dishes were placed on our table. No talking for a few moment. Of course the pansit palabok was as authentic as one can get it. Malinamnam! We had lumpiang ubod and fried. Sweet and sour meatballs, tokwa’t Baboy and dinuguan. Of course one must have sago’t gulaman. 8 dishes for 3 and we finished all of it!!! It was that good! All for less than P1K too! Winner talaga! I’m coming back Jen! Thanks Dino for inviting me and Jackie!
After several decades, Tonang's has still the best Palabok (bihon noodle palabok) in the business of Pancit Palabok. Almost the same price as Amber's, Mang inasal but the taste is 10X superior.
Palabok is a good meryenda choice! And Aling Tonangs will not disappoint you. It is not a resto where in there are posh designs for you to take a pic of, it is a straight forward place where you can grab good food at an affordable price.
💋FAYEvorite- pansit palabok for only 60 pesos
Halo halo is just 50 pesos- creamy 😍
Lumpiang togue -20 pesos- i love their vinegar
💋FAYEmous for-pansit palabok and malabon
Old place but still one of the best Pancit place outside Chinatown. The food served inside is not that bad. I just don't like their dinuguan(dun din sila nakilala) and lechon paksiw kasi PAREHO ANG LASA!!!!!!! I love their Pancit Palabok and Canton. I just wish that they will have a renovation and better serving.
