Food is still delicious. I ordered the radish cake and hakao last time I went. Unfortunately their taro puff was unavailable. Some of your staff were inattentive. Your interior needs serious facelift. Overall, I still love your resto. Reminds me of my childhood.
Then again, we love this place. This is one of our favorite Chinese Restaurant. They never disappoint us. Every now and then, we always make sure that we get to visit this place to eat our fave seafood rolls hehe.
This particular branch of Luk Yuen has been a go-to for my family since the 90's. No frills in their ambiance, it's simple and straight to the point. They serve casual dining Chinese food.
We order the fried shrimp dumpling, ask for the sweet and sour dipping sauce or pair this with mayo. We also order the congee and beef brisket wanton. It's straight up comfort food when you want something warm and comforting.
Until now, we frequent this branch.

Luk Yuen's food tastes really good. And you get the value of what you paid for. We also ordered their Peppercorn spareribs with enormous pieces of spareribs, their shrimp hakaw which is one of my favorite and their wantons too. ❤❤❤
You should try the TARO PUFF!!! It's the reason why I always come back! In general all the food I've tried here were all tasty. Very affordable and no service charge!
Its a no-frills dimsum and noodle house which has been a family favorite. Its never changed. The familiarity of a warm bowl of wanton noodle soup, their thin noodles already a staple signature, their tasty dimsum and the fast, efficient service makes this a reliable pit stop for the family
Simple, nothing fancy. I love this place since my childhood days like my parents do! Years have past I would still love eating dimsum with a nice bowl of noodle soup. The textures and flavors are what I remember since I was a kid, the tenderness, the crunch, the soft and fluffy dimsum choices washed down by the flavorful broth. Price is reasonably affordable. I can only wish I have more capacity to eat!
I'm almost embarrassed to say it took me this long to eat at a place like Luk Yuen for the first time. Apparently Luk Yuen is an institution when it comes to Chinese food, and upon having their signature Hainanese chicken dish, I understand why. Everything from the chicken meat to the rice and sauce was seasoned well, while staying simple and true to its roots. Price was budget-friendly and service was prompt as well. Definitely a place I can see myself returning to, time and time again :)
First time my family went here, I ordered the beef brisket noodles and I was not happy with the noodles. It was so thin and soft I felt that it was overcooked. So on our next visit, we decided not to order noodles and ordered rice toppings instead. We ordered beef brisket and peppercorn spareribs which was really good. We also tried their stir fried beef udon and asado siopao. I am not a fan of siopao but I ate it with gusto. I just love the filling and how it is not too sweet. We also ordered the Chinese halo-halo and My family and I enjoyed it as well.

We've been here a lot of times already, and we never get fed up of their food.
Food: We usually order the same thing (our favorites) My mom loves their Deep Fried Cuttle fish and Fish fillet in sweet and sour Sauce. It always tastes fresh and falvorful. My dad always get Stir fried Beef w/ brocolli- The beef is cooked just right, a bit salty for my taste though, and his all time favorite, Noodle Feast- Everything he wanted is there, beef, pork, seafood, and the noodle, perfectly cooked. For my husband and I, we always get the wanton noodles-I just love the soup, and the noodle again are perfectly cooked, Peppercorn spareibs-Tender and juicy and congee.
Service: The crew were accommodating and polite.
Place: Inside the restaurant, it's a bit cramped, there aren't too much space, but it's clean. It's always packed with people.
So if you're craving for Chinese food but you're on a budget, this is the place to be.
If you love chinese foods, this is the perfect resto. The ambiance is so-so but the quality of the food is superb. Take note, price is also affordable! The wanton chips they serve as appetizer is so tasty that I wanted more. Was able to try Halo-halo congee and Shrimp congee, one of the best congee I've ever tasted, seems legit! Also tried the 4 pcs. Siomai for 125php, a bit pricey but it's totally worth it. Tastes like Wai Ying siomai. Will definitely go back and give their noodles a try. :)
Craving for affordable Chinese food? This is the place for you! Really good food worth the price!! The service is somehow slow and the ambiance is so-so but the food is oustanding!
One of my favorite wont break the bank Chinese restos! But I always order the congee! Halo halo or bola bola with extra wanton chips! ???? love it! One of my favorite comfort foods! Then get extra century egg! Yuuuum!
Price is cheap and food is actually good. Serving is just right too. Now this I wasn't expecting and very rare. Love their noodles and will definitely come back. Although the place is pretty busy and crowded so it's better to avoid meal time hours.
I love Chinese food, so this is our go-to place if we just want to eat good Chinese foods without emptying our wallets. The place is not that convenient though, as it shares the place with another business but overall, it was an okay dining experience.
This is the place that I and my 8 year nephew crave affordable Chinese. We always order the fried prawn dumplings with fried rice. This dish is both huge in serving and yummy. The staff is always friendly and attentive to my nephew which we appreciate a lot.
Comfort traditional chinese food. Luk yuen is a place where you will have your money's worth. The chicken strips noodles, peppercorn spareribs and the fried noodles with shreded pork is a must try!
Luk Yuen is one of my favorite congee places. Chinese noodle makers from Hong Kong trained the staff of Luk Yuen. They serve a wide range of chinese cuisines that surely satisfy your hunger and also a place where you can save a lot of money because of their affordable and friendly prices. Had no problem with food but service should really improve.
Me and my hubby used to go here all the time. Simple ambiance with great food! His favorite was the beef noodles and mine was the salted fish and rice. I also love their kung pao noodles and their rice bowls as well as their home made iced teas because they're quite yummy. Service was also satisfactory and we haven't experienced anything negative as of now. Two thumbs up for this resto.
