Great coffee shop in Mandaluyong! Really love the interiors, I really felt that it was well thought of. Only downside was not all the food in the menu was available. But, please open a branch in Makati!
We got the Flat white and the Iced latte with their cookie! Nicto’s is one of my favorite go to place for affordable and good quality coffee. The place is also work friendly so you can bring your work here since there are charging areas. The place is quite small so it can get a little crowded but super worth it because the coffee is good, service is also good and the ambiance is really good. Worth the try!

If youare cofee based drinker, you would appreciate the place. If you want peace where you can have your own time or private chitchat, be here. Price is okay for the quality, staff are too timid though.
Great aesthetic with the minimalist undertones, interior wise. Their iced coffee is great and affordable, although it would be nice if they has more size options. It’s also a plus that they have wifi for people who like to work there like myself, and they have charging sockets so I could stay there for hours and actually get work done cos it’s often quiet and have few customers on weekends. A freelance writer’s dream tbh. Nicto’s is a hidden gem in kapitolyo, no doubt about that.

AFFORDABLE AND GOOD COFFEE! The flat white and the dark mocha are perfect caffeine boosts and they're much cheaper than your bigger chains!
But don't keep yourself from trying their foods! Tried their sandwiches, soup, and pastries and so far none have disappointed. Wanna try their rice bowls next time.
The place is clean, well-lit, and intimate.
THEY HAVE PARKING SPACE!
There are sockets everywhere and seats are all comfy and tables are always clean!
Even the washroom is clean and 'instagrammable'
AGAIN, VERY GOOD COFFEE IN THE AREA FOR ITS PRICE!!

I’ve been looking for new places to study around the area because the usual Starbucks is too crowded. Thankfully, my sisters are eager to try new places on my behalf as they have more time on their hands.
I went here on a cloudy Monday afternoon and I immediately fell in love with the ambience and interiors.
I ordered their Cafe Mocha (Marble) and it has the right amount of kick and sweetness that I like for my coffee.
Trust that I am going back to this cafe because I found my #BitterHalf
This is a fairly new coffee shop along East Capitol Drive, on the second floor of a brand new building that's still undergoing some construction. It is family-run and socially oriented, as they ask for donations from customers to give to the parish in the neighbourhood.
Sagada beans, roasted Italian style, are used for their espresso brews, and they've said that they plan to brew coffee in other popular third wave styles.
I've tried their Holiday in a Cup exclusive coffee, which is a hazelnut flavoured latte, served in a glass rimmed with peppermint, sugar, and salt. The salt makes a difference! Fun, tasty, happy, happy drink.
The cafe is all-white, cheerful, and they have pastries to go with their coffee, as well as some breakfast rice bowls.
Kapitolyo is a good place to eat and chill but it lacks a good place to grab coffee.
So Nicto's is kind of hidden from the line of restaurants in Kapitolyo BUT it is worth your time if you look for it.
Ambiance - 5.0/5.0
The interiors are more of a minimalist and space saving I guess. I fell in love with the interiors especially inside the restroom. However, what I love about Nicto's is how clean the cafe is and you cannot smell people reparing food for their customers. Not to mention, they have a strong wi-fi connection and there are plugs almost everywhere.
Service - 5.0/5.0
Since it is a cafe, you expect it to be minimal on service unless you ask something. They are really polite and customer oriented. Not to mention, smiles at their customers.
Food - 5.0/5.0
This cafe serves rice bowls, pasta and sandwiches. I tried their Nicto' Special Bowl (150php) and I could honestly say that its really really good and enough to satisfy you. While their coffee is really something I would totally recommend. Would definitely come back for more.
Great Ambience & Delicious Coffee 😍 Wanted to try something different. This place did not disappoint. A nice getaway from a crowded SB w/ chatty millennials 😜
After a sumptuous lunch in Ace Hotel, A and I visited this cafe so we could work on our itinerary for Seoul. (We ended up watching Avatar instead 😂)
🍎 PARKING ☑️
Free parking but it’s limited so arrive early. 😊
🍎 WIFI ☑️
Yes, it’s available! It was fairly fast, too.
🍎 FREE WATER ☑️
Self-served but it was fine. We love the fact that they use glasses, not just plastic cups like other cafès.
🍎 OUR ORDERS
Sangria ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s non-alcoholic so relax, okay? It was such a refreshing blend of flavors! I felt like the serving was a bit small for its price, so I hope they serve it in a larger cup in the future. (Or maybe it was so good so nabitin lang ako 😂)
Cream Chicken Baguette ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Filling and tasty. Serving was good for two! The celery was nice since its texture was complementary to the chicken’s creaminess.
🍎 AMBIANCE
Nice, quiet and minimalist. I like staying here but maybe they should provide pillows as cushion? I have a bad back kasi (Titas of Manila) so it hurts when I sit straight for a long time. 😂
🍎 COMING BACK? ☑️
YES! We found our favorite cafè in Kapitolyo. Please don’t change! :D

Nicto's -- I always think of the name as the inverse of "tonic," only with apostrophe and an "s." Haha.
As you might expect, this is a coffee shop in the Kapitolyo area. I love Kapitolyo because of its somewhat laidback atmosphere (unlike, say, Maginhawa) and of course it's nearer to where I live. Although I've been in the area numerous times, I've never seen Nicto's before.
Turns out that this is just a new kid on the Kapitolyo block, just near to a dilapidated building where Tomahawk Chops and Grill and The Round Table used to stand.
So I decided to check it out.
I thought I was the first customer that day. I went there about 11 am methinks. Had a brunch there.
🔸Creamy Chicken Baguette (₱150) - Baguette is a heavy bread for me, so this meal can even be shared by two persons with smaller appetites. I dislike celery, but it worked well on this chicken filling -- and there were lots of celery in it that they could have put me off. But instead, I was surprised how good it was. It tasted just right, not too bland nor too flavorful, and the filling was generous. I could not finish this though, so I took it out. And oh, it was served with chips too, so sulit na rin siya.
🔸Oat Taking (₱60) - I am a fan of the classic chocolate chip cookie and I generally do not like any other thing in it, including oats. However, I will make this an exception to this cookie. As always, chocolate chip cookies are best eaten when re-heated -- you take delight at those melted chocolate chips that ooze out of the cookie after every bite.
🔸Cafe Latte (₱120) - That was the thing I needed the most because I was feeling weary and irritable at the time. As it was a latte, it was rich and milky. I was okay with it not having sugar.
The interiors were almost all-white and quite minimalist in design. It had a clean, cozy and a "no-fuss" ambience, although there were a few accent pieces that stood out like those two pink armchairs at the corner. Other than those, the furnishings were all in monochrome. The natural light from the outside made the whole interior even brighter.
Yes, it will be the next place for all of you coffee-loving hipsters out there hehehe.
The restroom was also nice and clean.
I didn't know that they also had rice meals. Another customer after me ordered a rice bowl meal. It wasn't listed on the menu kasi, nor did they mention or recommend that to me. Had I known (or asked), I would have ordered a rice meal instead (as I am more of a rice person).
Although I almost always prefer hot coffee over iced and frappe, it seems me that Nicto's are promoting their iced coffee drinks a lot, so I will try them on my next visit.
I have no idea what their signature "Nicspresso Quake" is, I guess it's also an iced coffee (correct me if I'm wrong though).
Cute and clean place. Nicspresso Quake is really good! I recommend going here study or work because of the ambiance and the delicious but affordable snacks & pastries.
