If you have a sweet tooth, you might want to try Emack & Bolio's. They offer nice looking ice cream cones and a lot of flavors to choose from. The serving is huge, good for sharing. Definitely eye catching but costs a whole lot more than your ordinary scoop of ice cream.
Also, don't forget to drink water afterwards.
I'm so glad that their ice cream does taste exactly the same as what they serve in Boston. They have interesting flavor combinations and cones that is dipped in your favorite cereal. My favorite is the deep purple chip!

We have tried Salted Caramel and Chocolate Pretzel and I think it’s sweet but not throat pain sweet. We also ordered the Peach Ice Cream which balances the sweetness of the Salted Caramel. It’s something familiar and unique at the same time. (Salted Caramel) while the Peach Ice Cream is very light and does not taste artificial.
Deep Purple Chip kinda tastes like Baskin' Robbins' Love Potion #31. Just right for its price. Would like to try other flavors. They said they're gojng to open another branch in BGC. I just hope theyd be more playful with the flavors.
First off, ice cream is life. So definitely you have to try theirs.
Love how their ice cream was so flavorful and creamy. We ordered salted caramel with chocolate pretzel and their chocolate chip ice cream (I forgot the full name of the ice cream because it was THAT good). My obvious favorite of course was the chocolate chip one. You'll see that they have the right ratio of ice cream to choc chip. Not too much not too little. Also they were very generous with the scoop portions too! Try it out. Swear. It's good.
Just a warning though not good for people on a diet although they do have 1 sugar free variant.
Also bring your own chair. They don't have a lot of seats which is why i gave them a 4. I like to relish my ice cream especially if its REALLY GOOD.
I had their grasshopper pie and it was pretty good, a very classical mint chocolate chip flavor. I don't really know how much the cone really adds for me, like it makes it look nice for photos but for actual eating I don't think I need it. A fairly pricey cone but their single scoop is pretty massive, one scoop should be good for 2 people.
The place serves great ice cream with not-so-common flavors and old standards, but more than that, they made the ice cream receptacles a treat on its own, tweaking the humble waffle cone with melted chocolate, sprinkles, marshmallow creme and a variety of different cereal and nut embellishments.
I can't remember the name of the ice cream flavor, but it seemed berry-like and I topped it with fruity pebbles. The Scooper was very nice and helped me with recommendations. He also let me do my thing with taking the picture before handing me a spoon to help me eat.
The flavor wasn't that complex but still worth the price. Yum!
First time here! Lovely flavors and exciting waffle cones!! I swear it made me run for it 😂 They have so much to offer but I definitely tried out Space Cake with Froot loops waffle cone 🌈 Worth stopping by for desserts if you're in Ayala Malls The 30th 😊
The ice cream tasted very unique and great. There are bunch of flavour that you can pick. But for me and my friends, we chose Stoney's Dream. It is sweet and chewy. But if it is paired with the unique cone, I highly recommend it to be paired with normal flavor to be just right. However, the ice cream is pricey.

I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAAAAAAM.
A bit on the premium side but if you like ice cream and cereals like me, then this place is definitely worth to try! ❤ i love how the cone is topped with marshmallow fluff and cereals of your choice. It adds the extra crunch in texture to the creamy ice cream.
Try their ice cream flavors with the cake-batter mix-ins in them because they are good. However, you can spare yourself the cones. Although they are definitely camera-worthy, sad reality is they are stale. Overall, their ice cream is crave-worthy! Yum!
Emack & Bolio made it's way to the Philippines!
This ice cream joint is famous for their colorful ice cream cones that have various toppings decorating it... Toppings in the form of fruit loops, lucky charms, and rice crispies-- stuck to the sides by marshmallow spread... They have very unique psychedelic ice cream flavors with funky names...
I got lucky on my first try and I liked the space cake flavor immediately-- red velvet with a twist... I tried it with the lucky charms cone-- huge serving tbh... Something I had to share with my healthy-eating husband just to finish the thing!😂 As much as I liked the ice cream, the cone is sickeningly sweet for me. It is very Instagrammable, but I am not much of an IG user myself. Lol! I think I'd like to try another flavor sometime, but I would skip the expensive decorated cone upgrade... The whole thing was P220 for one scoop...
The store was small-- no place to eat the ice cream inside. Actually, no place to fall in line inside the store... You have to get your dessert to go...😊
I've been wanting to try their ridiculously priced ice cream cones for quite some time now. Finally got to try it over the weekend.
I got the Salted Caramel Chocolate Pretzel on a "Lucky Charms" cone.
The ice cream flavor was really good. Though it was a bit too sweet and too creamy for my liking. I also think it could've had more pretzels to get that full sweet salty combo. Overall, I wouldn't say it's special.
What I was really disappointed in was the cone. First off, the cone itself tasted like regular waffle cone. Secondly, they didn't use real Lucky Charms. When you're gonna name something with a brand name, please make sure you actually use the product. If you take a closer look, the cereal they used for this cone was Marshmallow Mateys. It's the cheaper version of Lucky Charms. I have nothing against MM, I even personally buy it instead of LC because of the price difference but still having more or less the same taste. But putting a brand name on a different product is just false advertising at it's finest.
What makes it worse, they didn't even put the whole marshmallow chunks. It seemed like it was crushed.
Oh well, at least I got to try their ice cream. Not sure if I'll get one again though.
Saw this in IG and i find it so cute, so i just need to try it. We 3 just shared 2 scoop of ice cream with their cute decorated waffle cones. Its a bit pricey but cuteness overload is priceless. My son is addicted with sprinkles while my husband is forever chocolate. Me, i like something different. Hence this combination...ok lang but a bit sweet for my taste.
Edited:
Had my 2nd try and i think i found my fave ice cream now!!! BEANTOWN BUZZ for the win! Coffee flavored w coffee beans and not that sweet. Adding 1 star for this 😁
🍦☺️ Super loved their IC! especially their lovely cones! Will definitely back! Maybe later 😂😂😂
We Ordered
- Salted Caramel with Chocolate Pretzels on Rice Crispies Cone
- Oreo on Fruity Loop Cone
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love the concept of this place! I love their cones cause they don’t just look good - they actually taste good. The staff is friendly and know what’s good & will let you have a free taste if you ask! The ice cream is good but some are just too sweet or don’t really taste like their flavour name - but still good. My fave is the salted caramel pretzel! Hard to finish one on your own - best to share with a loved one!
Emack And Bolio’s has been my go-to place in Hong Kong for some sweet fix and I’m so happy that we already have one here!
You can get One Scoop (P165), Two Scoops (P265) and Three Scoops (P365) on a cup or cone. Just add P60 for their signature Marsh “Mellow” Cones!
They also offer smoothies using native fruits here! You can choose from their smoothies or you can create your own.
We tried one scoop of Grasshopper Pie on a Reese Puffs Marsh “Mellow” Cone (P225). The Grasshopper Pie had just the right amount of mint and chocolate blended together and it’s not that sweet too!
Will definitely be back again to try the other flavors but I hope they add more flavors to choose from.
I would have given them a 5 but they only have a low bench for you to sit on outside.
Hippie psychedelic decor, delicious unique one of a kind flavors, crazy ice cream cones that have become Instagrammably world famous. Like no where else you've been or tasted
I'm so happy that we finally have an Emack and Bolio's in the PH!! Finally, a dessert place that isn't too pricey, sells quality desserts and stays open until like midnight! Since this is still new, there's always a line outside but don't worry because it moves quite fast! Also, I feel like the line is long because people are always snapping pics and posting on instastory since the place is decorated so cutesy. Dessert places nowadays are trying so hard with their new concepts and whatever so having some good old ice cream in a fancy cone is refreshing! They are a take out counter basically but there's a bench outside where you can sit and eat your ice cream! Delicious dessert and fantastic service. I would recommend this to everyone! 5/5 👌🏼
The ice cream cone was worth the price I had to pay for it. With such a huge scoop and huge cone, I understood it had to be at that price. I'm rating them 4 though, because they only have a small (but cute) bench outside their stall for people to sit and eat their ice cream, and that their Koko Krunch cone sort of misled me. I expected actual Koko Crunch cereal, but I think it was Koko Krispies or something. I should've double-checked, but it was still delicious! :)
It's soooo good! Not only Instag worthy cones but really good ice cream. Not too sweet and hefty one scoop (seems like usual 3 scoops).
Deep Purple Chip (black raspberry with white and dark choco chips) on a chocolate sprinkles cone -good combination of sweet and sour and generous amount of chocolate chips.
Sydney's Dream (vanilla ice cream with brownies, chocolate chip and fudge swirl) on a fruity pebbles cone- this gotta be my favorite flavor so far. It had a lot of chocolate chip and brownies (chewy, chocolatey good). Sounds too sweet but just the right balance. 😘
Mud Pie (coffee with choc chips and Oreo) my boyfriend described it as "Flavorful chocolate nirvana"
Trippin 'n Espresso (deep roasted full-bodied espresso ice cream) a treatfor coffee lovers
Super cute ice cream cones, perfect for photos! The ice cream itself was not too sweet and complemented well with their cones. The service are also super nice!
Cereal s’mores on your cone? An interesting way to enjoy ice cream! Born in a Boston basement apartment in 1975, Emack and Bolio’s comes all the way to Manila to set up shop in The Ayala 30th Mall. The colorful, cartoon-ish ice cream parlor not only serves ice cream cups, cones and sundaes, but it also offers smoothies. [Read More]
Attention to all workeaters out there with a sweet tooth. Ortigas has the ice cream parlour experience you might be looking for. Emack & Bolio's is an ice cream parlour located at Ayala 30th Mall which is just a short walk from the central business district, Ortigas Center. They offer a bunch of unique and interesting ice cream flavours for you to try out. If flavors like Grasshopper Pie doesn't pique your interest perhaps their special cones might tickle your fancy.
While waiting for some transaction I stopped by at the Ayala Malls the 30th and was craving for something cool and sweet. It was only my second time at this mall and it's been months since I first set foot here, so I had no idea about what's new, what's hot or what's cool LOL.
I opted for the cool part, since it is unseasonably hot today. I saw a new store called Emack & Bolio's and I was drawn by its colorful, hippie artwork on both outside and the interiors. So I checked it out by curiosity and then looked up at the menu as well as their pretty and colorful waffle cones. There was no seating so it's basically a "take-out" ice cream parlor kind of thing.
I asked the crew about their best-selling cones, so the lady at the counter said the ones with the Fruit Loops.
Whenever I want sweets they're usually chocolate- or matcha-based, but this time I wanted to go "fruity".
🔸Two scoops - (₱265). You can choose the same or different ice cream flavors, it's up to you. I had the "Deep Purple" Chip ice cream and Lemon Sorbet to enjoy the different textures. (apart from the different flavors, of course).
⚪"Deep Purple" Chip ice cream - it had a heady combination of berry fruitiness and the dark/white chocolate chips, which were pretty big. It definitely tickled my taste buds! 💜
⚪Lemon Sorbet - in contrast to the Deep Purple Chip ice cream, the Lemon Sorbet was simpler and more straightforward. A classic sorbet no less. Light, sweet, sour, tangy, zesty -- refreshing! 🍋
🔸Marsh Mellow waffle cone (with the Fruit Loops) - (₱60)
I didn't expect my ice cream to be this big! I'm glad I didn't order the three scoops like I originally intended. Up to now busog pa rin ako! 😂
The staff was kind to provide me with a cup and a spoon. Kudos to them. 😊
My ₱325 was well spent naman -- the cones alone will make you feel full already -- but I guess I'll reserve that for a special treat or reward next time (or if I go out on a date). Other flavors (such as the one with the name Grasshopper Pie or something) were quite intriguing as well.🍦
You can also order one scoop (₱165) or three scoops (₱365). Emack & Bolio's also offers smoothies, shakes and sundaes.
BEST. ICE. CREAM.
super loved the icecream here! had the serious chocolate addiction on a koko krunch cone and the chocoholic in me was delighted !! (it had fudge chunks and chocolate chips AHH) definitely travelled to chocolate heaven 😻 super recommend for chocolate lovers like me !! (ps it lies more on the dark chocolate side)
my mom had the grasshopper pie (sorta like mint chocochip) and caramel pecan, I was only able to try the grasshopper pie and it was delightful as well! the taste of mint was really strong, there were chocolate blocks in every bite. you can tell that they really used quality ingredients. (and ps it does not taste like toothpaste. HAHAAH)
my sister had the cookie dough and chocolate mousse, I loved the cookie dough as well!! the flavor was just so spot on. what made it even way better was the fact that the base icecream was cookie dough as well. really brought out that cookie dough flavor.
I thought the cones would be too sweet for my liking, but somehow it wasn't sweet at all (maybe they use unsweetened marshmallows hmm?) and was actually really good!! it complemented the taste of the icecream and the chewy texture definitely was a match made in heaven!
will definitely visit again! and ps, I find this way better than carousel creamery (although I love carousel too!)
pricewise, it was pretty expensive (ours summed up to 875 I think) but for the quality you're getting, it was definitely worth it.
