Great place to bond with friends after a long day :) Try their cocktails (my personal favorite is the Soju Yakult as you can't even tell that there's alcohol in it, but it packs a punch). The staff is also very accommodating and friendly!
The only one of its kind (as far as I know) in the country! Got the Melbourne vibe and coffee spot on! Thoroughly enjoyed #Brewmance-- learning to make coffee and I mean loadsss! Great hands-on experience, super friendly team and of course yummyyyy coffee! I may have found making coffee not easy-- but I sure have an all new appreciation for coffee like never before! More of #Brewmance sessions please! Will deffo strongly recommend!
Their Makati branch is the perfect place for me to make some artwork and doodles . Great coffee as well!!!!!!!!!!
Love the coffee, service and the free hugs hehehe! However, please open somewhere that does not have an open sewage, it ruins the experience the moment you step out of the coffee shop.
Staff was very pleasing, ambiance is very comfy, price? I guess its worth it. Over all, its a 8/10 for me :)
BEST coffee in Manila. Great place to chill or work. Great wifi & fabulous staff ❤️❤️❤️
Best hot mocha in the city! Screw Starbucks!

I'm a little hesitant at first in trying their dirty matcha Marcel, that it might be too sweet, too "cinnamon-y" but it's actually good, plus the people working there are so nice, kahit na kinukulit namin sila kung sino si Marcel, and we are asking for a bag of the free taste goodies. Kami na ang nahiya..hahaha will definitely be back..
Sometimes when I'm home and not living near my campus (Manila) I tend to feel a little unproductive, and I can honestly Where's Marcel? is my go-to place when I need to get work done, feel productive, or just want a nice chill afternoon! The cafe gives off a really chill vibe with its halogen lights, modern design, and mellow music. It's a one in a kind cafe I can trust to go to whenever the usual mainstream coffee shops are always full. Not only do they have great WiFi connection, a good ration of lounge couches and chairs to work tables, but also do they have a wide and unique selection of pastries, coffee, and cold drinks for the adventurous tongue. Definitely one to visit and keep coming back to.
Try the Hazelnut Ice Blend for a different taste, Marcel's Dirty Chai or their Brookies.
The BEST coffee I've tried so far!!! Tasted their coffee during Manila Fame yesterday. And I am officially addicted. The staff was so nice!!! And did I say they have the BEST COFFEE ever??
Forgot to claim my gold privilege! Service nonetheless was impeccable. Thank you for the extra atchara on my half-a-takeout. Place was comfy and not crowded. Can benefit from a bit of upgrade on interiors though. :)
Marcel is a new place I would definitely recommend. I had the tapa and it was good. We also ordered the yakult sogu that tasted soo da** good. I hope that this place earns more patrons.

The best cappuccino and revel bar ever!! Also tried their pesto chiclen pasta but the noodles was overcooked and the sauce lacks flavor.
Nice place to do some weekend work.
Place are cozy and instagrammable
You can chitchat with friends while taking pictures because the place is really nice.
Servers are polite and friendly.
Love the naked cake! I'm productive when studying here cause the ambience and lighting are just right. Ill try the cocktails next time, they look promising.
If you want like a place that's not crowded and you want to be alone. You can relax and chill in this place. We're always here to read and watch netflix :)
I wouldn't visit this store if only the store beside it is open but I'm totally shocked and amazed hot the interior design was made. It's perfect location for those who wants a cozy and homey style shop. The food was a bit expensive especially their Tea. I ordered Earl Grey Blueflower Tea and it's perfect combo for their Chocolate Chip Cookie. Amazing! Try it guys.
One of my favorite cafes so far. So obsessed with their Dirty Chai and Rebel Bar! I love that this place have never been so congested/packed with people. Hence, I enjoy every stay because I find it relaxing with lesser crowd. Plus they have free wifi! And they can lend you a powerbank if you need one. :)
Pearl Drive was my place to be back in college because my alma mater is located there. I’d frequent a few establishments that offer pocket friendly dishes and I would occasionally splurge on a meal or two when I feel like I deserve it after a gruelling long exam. Fast forward to present, I would still find myself being a stingy foodie. But I wouldn’t scrimp on a cup of coffee especially if it receives a lot a good reviews. And that’s how I found myself in front of Where’s Marcel.
My aunt and I were looking for a coffee shop in the area when I saw Where's Marcel? Excited, we went in to get some caffeine. After a minute, I decided on an iced mocha and a brownie.
*Food: 4/5
The brownie was so good! It was moist, warm, soft - everything I look for in a brownie. It would be perfect with vanilla ice cream (a la mode)! The coffee was extremely thick and creamy. It made me feel like I was drinking a coffee milkshake. Tasted really good and sweet (plus it was really strong).
*Atmosphere: 4/5
The decor and the atmosphere were welcoming. I love the lettering on the menu, too! It would be a great place to study or catch up with a friend.
*Service: 4/5
The barista welcomed us with a smile and made our orders quickly. Good service!
*Price: 4/5
It's a bit pricey if you're on a budget, but you could afford to treat yourself to good coffee every once in a while!
Decent coffee. Got a flat white from this Australian cafe. It's pretty strong but tasted a bit watered down. Could barely taste the coffee. However, the Dirty Chai was pretty good with just the right amount sweetness and cinnamon spice. The revel bar was also wicked.
Another excellent coffeeshop in Ortigas. Serves great coffee and has good wifi.
I had the Long Black and a grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich was great too and literally oozing with good cheese.
Took out a couple of great tasting brownies for dessert.
I fully intended to go back to sleep after breakfast this morning, so I skipped the coffee. When I was finally ready to wake up, I searched for coffee places near Richmonde for a much needed cup of joe. I came across Where's Marcel and I decided to try it out.
I have heard about the brand before, originally from Aussie and settling nicely in the Philippines. The Pearl Plaza store is their first branch but they have opened a second one in Makati already. I am not too keen on braving the traffic these days just to try food out, but since it's walking distance from where I was staying, I was excited to try it.
It was a very comfortable walk from the hotel to Pearl drive. The store was very open, spacious and inviting. I asked for recommendations from the staff and they suggested the Dirty Chai Latte for a hot drink and the Iced Mocha for iced. I wanted to try the hot drink, as I am a fan of chai tea. Competitive pricing at P160 for 8oz, P170 for 12oz, and P180 for the 16oz. I really enjoyed it! It was piping hot when it was initially served in this attractive teal cup. I liked the pronounced cinnamon taste but it was spiked with something I can't seem to put my finger on. I enjoyed the drink while reading for a little bit. The cold store was a little too much for me after awhile, besides it came time to leave. But I do hope they eventually make their way up north, that was a pretty good cup of coffee!👍
We were on a coffee mission and as we were stuck in weekday lunch time traffic, we frantically searched for their food menu. We felt relieved to see photos of sandwiches and pasta dishes in different review apps and social media accounts.
We were quite disappointed to find just Adobo sandwiches and desserts on display. Their pasta was not delivered yet according to the barista/cashier. We informed her that we'll have lunch somewhere else first.
Since I had a so so lunch, I was really looking forward to dessert. I had a half order of the Milk Chocolate S'mores. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to finish the bigger portion as we were all ordering drinks and desserts. The marshmallow was a bit tough to chew but the chocolate pieces were so addicting. They weren't too sweet and I loved the crunch.
Their bestseller was the Dirty Chai but I didn't feel like having coffee and tea. I'm not a coffee drinker and I prefer sweet chocolatey coffee so I went for the Iced Mocha. Coffee flavor wasn't strong nor bitter and the chocolate flavor was just right.
The orders of the rest of the gang
🔹Cappuccino - strong bitter taste. I think my cousin didn't add sugar
🔹Flat White - better than the Cappuccino but still not my thing
🔹Chocolate Milkshake - it looked tempting and our friend downed it in no time
🔹Choco Brownie - rich chocolate flavor
🔹Revel Bar - not a fan of oats but the bite I had had a lot of chocolate so I was fine
We were pleasantly surprised at the presentation of the Revel Bar and Choco Brownie. We weren't expecting that considering how simply they were displayed. It really leveled up the bars and made it well worth the price tag. I wish they didn't use chipped plates though.
I can see myself hanging out here but I would definitely bring a jacket. I'm going back for the Milk Chocolate S'mores and maybe grab a milkshake as well.
*guard wouldn't let us park in front so we searched along pearl drive for an alternative. OA parking fee of P85 for about 2 and a half hours
I now have a favorite coffee shop for studying! I love it because: 1) customers there are also busy working or studying therefore people are not chit chating loudly 2) the ambiance was cozy, it feels comfortable to be sitting there for hours to study 3) the price of the coffee was reasonable because mocha ice blended and hazelnut ice blended tasted really good, not so sweet and not so bitter, just exact taste. The brownie was delicious and served in a nice plating 4) they offer wifi, and strong stable wifi unlike other coffee shop that offers wifi but doesn't really work. But also I noticed that when we went to our seat, the table wasn't that clean, there are few crumbles in the table. Also the jars of sugar were not placed in the center, hopefully after previous customers leave, they can clean the table and place the jar in the center of the table. Lastly, it will be great if they will have soap in the comfort room.
Nice Ambiance, nice food and coffee, feels calm when I'm here. The Pasta is worth a try, and the sweets are okay but it must be shared, because it's nakakaumay. I ordered for the first time is the Marcel's dirty chai, then on our next visit we tried the carbonara and the "bulletproof coffee" - Espresso blended with organic butter and coconut oil, served in a capuccino cup
Pretty place. Good desserts. Great coffee quality- selection is quite nice too. Best time to go, if you want some quiet time to chill out with friends, would be from 6pm to 8pm on a weekday (except Friday).
My foodie friends and I got to visit this spacious and modern-looking coffee shop for a weekend meetup.
For drinks, I had the Hazelnut Ice Blend while my friends had Marcel's Dirty Chai and Chocolate Milkshake.
I love how my Hazelnut Ice Blend was presented, topped with whipped cream, crushed graham crackers and chocolates. My friends loved their drinks as well.
To accompany our drinks, my friends had Adobo Sandwich and I had a Brownie. We were also served complimentary S'mores, which we all loved.
We had an amazing time at Where's Marcel? The staff was really accommodating, the ambiance is impressive and the prices are reasonable. I can't wait to go back to try the single origin coffee from their Brew Bar. :)
When new condominiums are completed expect new restaurants to come with it. Sometimes commercial spaces come first and they are used to advertise the ongoing development.
Where's Marcel? is owned by its namesake, a coffee lover who also seems to love traveling. The interiors boast a high ceiling, spacious and well made wooden designs. It's ideal for studying, relaxing and meetings.
I was in the area for a meeting and was looking for a meal before going to dinner. Yes strange but I often find myself eating before eating. So I got their tea. They have long list of choices so I ended up combining Chai Tea and their Mint. I loved the intertwine of intense flavors, I suggest you explore it too.
For a sandwich, since only one has no mayonnaise, I got the Cheese. It had Gouda and Gruyere plus red bell pepper. It was a decent grab especially if you love cheese!
Looking forward to coming back here for more unique coffee and their other meal options.
I was looking for coffee shops aside from Starbucks in the area when I spotted Where's Marcel, so this morning i went here in search of my much-needed caffeine boost. Instead of getting coffee however, I got a chai tea latte instead to go. Though I really would've liked to stay and hang out for a bit, because the interiors are so nice - lots of wood, industrial-looking, and actually pretty roomy. It's a place you'd want to stay in for a while.
The chai tea latte was a very nice surprise! Strong chai flavor, mellowed out by the milk, and even if the ice melts it doesn't water down much. Probably my new favorite chai tea latte out of the ones I've tried so far. Even if it's pretty pricey (150php for 12oz!! At least they don't charge additional for the ice and take out cup) I'd gladly shell out the price if I get this kind of tea latte! 10/10 would be back again; looking forward to trying their other coffee offerings!

Hello, Where’s Marcel?
Why is everyone looking for Marcel? And more importantly, who is Marcel?
Well, for those curious, the coffee shop is named after Marcel Ruggieri, a coffee enthusiast who often wanders off to Costa Rica and Columbia, two popular coffee regions to look for the perfect beans. It takes pride in being a strong supporter of local businesses and engage in direct trading with farmers. The crop-to-cup concept has developed Where’s Marcel as an establishment that is more community-based. And this Melbourne born shop decided to have Manila as its first location offshore.
Aside from its expansive coffee menu, it also offers a bunch of savory dishes such as sandwiches and pasta. But since I planned to have dinner elsewhere, I settled with one Revel Bar (PHP55) and a cup of Marcel’s Dirty Chai (PHP170, 12 oz).

Amazing place to relax and be productive at the same time. Chill music, deep coffee, cozy environment, warm welcoming staff. Perfect! Well, almost if not for the one thing that's missing! Where's Marcel?
One of my officemates was given 2 Where's Marcel? gift certificates worth 500 pesos each. She invited me and another officemate to have lunch there and at first we thought that we will just be using one GC. When we got there, we were surprised that the food and drinks were pricey.
We ordered an adobo sandwich, seafood pasta, another tomato-based pasta (sorry, I forgot the name), coffee, and green tea latte which we all shared among the three of us.
The adobo sandwich was so good, no wonder it's a best-seller. The seafood pasta tasted good too, and it was filling. The other pasta we ordered, however, lacks something and we wished that we just ordered another seafood pasta instead. What I loved the most was the brownie. For 60 pesos, it was big, moist, and rich. I definitely did come back the following day for the brownie.
According to my officemates, the coffee tasted nice and strong. Being a green tea lover that I am, I ordered a green tea latte which disappointed me. I could not find the green tea taste despite stirring it. It was sweet and tasted more like cinnamon.
The interiors were definitely impressive, it gave people enough room, comfort, and privacy. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. Top it off with a reliable wi-fi, this cafe, despite being quite pricey and having some misses in their menu, is definitely perfect for those who want to chill with friends, work, or study.
I will definitely come back AGAIN for the brownie.
Here's another place to hang out/study in the Ortigas area. Ambience is great, with natural lighting from outside, and warm tones everywhere.
Seats were comfortable, wifi is available, and there are plugs on the walls near the couches. Staff was attentive and friendly. Music was cool, more reggae pop.
They have a wide selection of drinks available. I got the Marcel's Dirty Chai which smelled divine - mostly smelled like coffee and cinnamon. Tasted clean and not sweet.
They also have a huge selection of sandwiches, salads, truffles, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, brookies. They were on the pricey side. Didn't get to try them because I was too full. But they looked superb. Will try them next time.
The staff informed me that they are open until 4pm because of the lack of staff. But they will have longer store hours once they find people.
