I haven't visited Next Door recently in the last 2 years and I forgot how delicious their food is.

We ordered:

1. Siomai - While the siomai was good, it wasn't something that stood out as I have had better siomai elsewhere. Nonetheless, it was still good.
2. Yang Chow fried rice - In my opinion, on of the best Yang Chow fried rice I've had. I think I can eat the rice on its own!
3. Next Door Chicken Chops - Pretty basic, but dip the chicken in the sweet sour sauce and it turns into something really enjoyable.
4. Spare Ribs - They will ask if you want the salt and pepper one or the red sauce spare ribs. We chose the latter. It had hints of typical spices used in Chinese cuisine, so it may not be for everyone, but I enjoued it nonetheless. The spare ribs weren't too bony and had enough meat to go around.

Will definitely come back for their other dishes.

Good, fast eats at reasonable price. Service was awesome and fast. Food selection was comprehensive and delicious. Good portions and great value. Location was a bit tough to park as most other restaurants located in plaza strips. It was a very easy experience. If you want some traditional Filipino food and try some exotic Asian cuisine at good value, this would be the place to go. I would recommend the Lechon of course!

I love North Park, so I love this resto. It's spacious and I really like the ambiance sine hindi talaga usually crowded ung area nila nung kumain kami dito (around 10am). As to serving time, we didn't wait that long too and their service is really good.

Budget? We spend almost 1.8k and we're 5. Busog kami lahat after!! So sulit!! Another thing, wala sila service charge.

I recommend their Calamares, Siomai, Beef Wanton and Bagoong Rice!

I love Next Door Noodles by North Park. It's my go-to place for comfort Chinese food. The best part is that Next Door Noodles is open 24/7.

I have stumbled in a good number of times after a night out, and from smudged mascara and high heels on some of the other customers, it seems other people had the same agenda.

There's nothing like a nice bowl of noodle soup after all that drinking and dancing! My staple noodle soup is the 3-kinds of Mushrooms with Wonton. I love the firmness of the Hong Kong noodle and it matches the slippery, savoury wonton and earthy mushrooms. Sometimes, I just go big and order the Beef Curry with Tendon or Lechon Macau Rice Bowl, because life is short like that. Solid eats. ;)

When hungry and craving for chinese food, this place hits the spot. It isn't cheap by most people's standards, but it isn't absurdly expnesive either. Staple order is Lechon Macau over fried rice. Never fails. :D

Kikiam is also great. :)

Got a hankering for Chinese cuisine? Next Door Noodles does the trick. Spend an afternoon savoring the variety of dim sum, crispy noodles, hot and sour soup, seasonal veggies and our favorite - Lemon Chicken!

They keep the place very cool so if you get cold easily, bring a light sweater. The staff, I noticed, even during non-peak hours, are a tad slow. But aside from that, the food is always something to look forward to.

FYI - if you're a "rice" person, the Yang Chow is good. But if I were you, don't order rice. Or at least, don't have too much so you have lots more space to enjoy the dishes.

Kain!

I'd planned lunch at another restaurant for Chinese New Year but, because of the traffic brought about by the reblocking, opted for Next Door Noodles at Ortigas Home Depot because it was closer to home.

The restaurant is an old favorite. Over the years, we've celebrated events there or just had casual meals. Always on our list are the pinsec frito, Chinese lumpia, crispy noodles and lechon macau.

For a starter, we had the Sweet Corn Soup. It was served piping hot and was very good.

In my opinion, Next Door Noodles makes the best Chinese lumpia. It's huge and packed with ingredients of varying tastes and textures. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The tofu was soft and fresh. It was perfectly complemented by the lumpia sauce.

I also loved the Pinsec Frito as it was perfectly fried; crunchy but almost without a trace of oil. This is best enjoyed instore.

The Australian Broccoli Flower with 3 Kinds of Mushroom in Oyster Sauce was also very impressive. The broccoli was fresh and crunchy while the mushrooms were tender and flavorful.

The Lechon Macau BBQ Pork Belly was also very good. The meat was tender, its skin crisp. It paired well with the asado sauce and pickled radish.

The Yang Chow Fried Rice was of the sticky sort and loaded with ingredients. It was very flavorful. A companion remarked that it could be a meal by itself.

They serve soda in 500 ml bottles, big enough to share. Chinese tea was complimentary. Try the lemonade too as it is quite good.

While the food is impressive, the restaurant's surroundings are not as it is in the periphery of the home depot, amid other establishments which have seen better days. The ambiance inside the restaurant is alright with a combination of benches, booths and steel tables. There are separate restrooms on site. Parking is available in front of the store.

Service wise, the crew were very attentive. The only issue we had with them was that it took a while for them to prepare our takeout bags. The fourth person we asked to do it and who eventually did apologized for the delay and said that it was because they had a problem with the POS machine.

What I love too about Next Door Noodles is its affordability which makes it an excellent choice for dine in, take out or delivery. I'm sure we'd be back.
