Had an amazing Monday morning having my breakfast at this place. The Adobo Flakes were crispy yet tasty. Authentic adobo with a twist. The fragrant fried rice reminded me of home cooking. Always wanted too much garlic and that's how it should be. The eggs were perfect; yolk not too cooked.

As to the pancakes, kind of burnt, but remained fluffy with the right texture. The butter made the taste more rich; complemented well.

Overall, I have started my day right dining at this place.

We had the smoked bangus, the Elvis (minus the bacon, of course), and the Nutella waffle. Of the three, the first two were just okay. The aligue rice with the bangus was bland. The Elvis needed syrup. Their waffles, however, are one of the best I've ever tasted. Crunchy outside, soft inside. The buttermilk batter was so tasty that you could eat the waffle on its own. Their coffee is good, too: brewed well and mild with a chocolate note. Prices are good - a bit more expensive than Kanto Freestyle but with better quality, ambiance and ten-fold better taste (although I do love KF's pesto poached egg on a hash brown). Just think that you're spending extra for better food and better ambiance. It's worth it. Prices are similar to Pancake House but with better tasting food. Service was kind of slow, because I think they weren't expecting a big crowd that early in the morning when we ate there. Martin Nievera had a whole posse that occupied half the restaurant. They were on their way to a hike in Rizal. Guy's nice. Down to earth, took time to speak with another patron who said hi. Turns out they're neighbors in the US or something. He even sang to her and invited her to an upcoming concert. Wasn't eavesdropping but the place is so cozy that I couldn't help but overhear. My new favorite all-day breakfast place! Can't wait to try the other items on the menu!

It was my first time to try waffles with something savory instead of sweet. Luckily their Salmon Gravlax was really good! We also had the Sausage Platter with the Kimchi Rice (served with egg). Their sausage plater is one of the best that I've tried. The sourness dijon mustard complements the savory sausages really well. The Orange and Lime Pie was a great way to end our savory and tasty dinner 🍖

I admit, there are times when I’m in no mood to worry about breakfast, especially when my (gasp!) three-in-one coffee is already waiting for me at the dining table (courtesy of my ever-loyal yaya, of course). I keep hearing that “breakfast is the most important meal of the day… yada, yada, yada…” but we shouldn’t eat breakfast for its own sake.  Breakfast should be a gastronomic pleasure too.  (That way, more people will take eating breakfast to heart!)

This restaurant is very appealing to the people that live in The Grove like me! The food is very good and the portions are generous as well. They would have received 5 stars from me but they OFTEN run out of menu items such as corned beef hash and a few others. The service is a bit slow but the staff is very kind and accommodating. The fresh squeezed OJ is excellent but a bit overpriced. I definitely recommend this as a breakfast place because the food overall is very very good.

Still indecisive whether to go on a Keto diet or not but if all meals taste like this, surely ill go all out.
Nice little resto tuck at the back of The grove. Ambience is good but serving is quite slow so a lot some time specially if you’re going in big groups. (Seems like the limited space in the kitchen prevents them from cooking multiple meals at the same time?

After joining a running event last month, we dropped by The Grove to have breakfast and ended up eating at Pi Breakfast & Pies. We just shared an order of the Beef Brisket Corned Beef and got an extra garlic rice. We also got the Champorado and a bread (Nutella Swirl). The bread was bland - didn’t really taste the Nutella filling. But they warmed it before serving so plus point for that. I didn’t like the Champorado although the serving’s big. The corned beef meal was the only thing I liked. An order is good enough to share. I didn’t find anything special about it but it’s worth a try. If ever we’ll be back there, I’d like to try the caramelized spam.

Had the Eggs Sammy (salmon instead of bacon), my bfast choice oftentimes. It was delicious except that the egg was already closed to being hard boiled. No egg yolk flowed.

We also tried the bacon omelette which I found to be rather oily. It could've better also if they had the bacon bits toasted to add texture to the usual omelette.

Lastly, the mixed berry pancake was what I loved being a person who is watching her sugar level. It wasn't sweet--not the pancake mix nor the berries.

Perfect stop if you want a filling meal to get you through the day.

i got the breakfast gumbo (Php325) which wasn't on the waiter's top 3 best sellers.
great presentation - watch the hot copper skillet, and resist the urge to dig in quickly or you'll burn your tongue😉.

so this dish didn't disappoint. might be a bit bland for those used to salty/bursting-in-your-mouth flavor. for me, i liked the happy mix of shrimp, sausage, chicken and small okra slices (!!!). ignore the white rice if this seems too much and you will have room for the poached egg and the tomato stew drizzle (scrape it off the bottom).
Dessert: peanut butter honeycomb pie. medyo maliit ang slice but it was creamy and not too sweet.

i need to walk this off. but this will definitely fuel me for the rest of my busy thursday🙃

PS: forgot the restroom review - i'm all about tastefully decorated and/or immaculately cleaned restrooms. i had to opt out of their restroom because inwas on diva mode. ICY, the waiter offered their sister resto's restroom instead. Galing, not only was he attentive but he actually did cross selling of the Backyard on the other side. eh di babalik tuloy ako to try this resto next time. The bigger restroom was a lot cleaner.

Happy customer finally!

Good place for weekend breakfast at the Grove by Rockwell.

The Fritata was quite good with a bunch of meats and veggies and yummy cheese cooked with 3 eggs. Quite filling. The Breakfast Gumbo was good too - tomato stew with chicken and sausage and veggies topped with a poached egg.

The Orange & Lime Pi provided a good sweet end to our breakfast

I'm not into pies so I was quite unsure on what to feel about Pi Breakfast and Pies. But turns out, they offer a lot of other stuff aside from pies-- they practically have every breakfast dish you can think of! They have pancakes and waffles, breads and pastries, corned beef, sausages, corned beef, kimchi rice (!!!), and lots of other options if you're craving for a Filipino breakfast.

Their bestseller is the Caramelized Spam. I was wondering why it became their bestseller because well, it was just spam. But when I tried it, it was really good! It didn't even taste like spam anymore. Highly recommended!

Our extended family decided to celebrate Mothers day breakfast at the Grove. Pi Breakfast and Pies was one of the three restaurants open early. We wanted something new that isn't so expensive and this resto fits the bill.

However, the place has a limited seating. We were about 18 people, kids and adults together. We were aware that finding a table may be a challenge so we tried calling the day before but their mobile phone just kept on ringing. So we took the chance and crossed our fingers that we'd find tables. We did with some patience. The staff was accommodating and pleasant so waiting was fine.

Each of us ordered a plate. The serving size was big that can actually fit two adults. We ordered corned beef, Pinoy breakfast platter, adobo silog, bangus and scrambled eggs. Orders were brought to our table within reasonable time. All agreed that the meals were flavorful and good.

Something quite unexpected though was the adobo silog. It turned out to be a different take on adobo. The egg was soft boiled perfectly but the adobo didn't appear to be an adobo at all but was rather a pork floss placed over warm rice. There was a sauce to be poured over it for added flavor but it still didn't make it an adobo. It would have been so much better it it were flaked real pork adobo meat. I do not advise for anyone wanting to eat real meat to order adobo.

Will we go back? Definitely coming back to try other meals and pies. But I will be avoiding adobo for now.

I love breakfast and pies so you can just imagine how much I love this restaurant.

I decided to have an early dinner here after my disappointing lunch in The Farm in BGC. I was looking forward to a hearty and delicious meal and Breakfast and Pies delivered!

I had their Pinoy Breakfast Platter which consisted of tapa, longganisa and chicken tocino. It also had 2 eggs and rice. I must say I am thankful that the egg was well cooked and the meats were satisfying. The Pino Iced Tea was very refreshing on that hot day.

I cannot leave without having one of their pies and I got my favorite Smack Pie 😊

First time to try this place, opted to dine here as part of the breakfast voucher for Aruga guest. We had Wagyu Tapa, omelete and bacon on sides, we have Smack and Smores pies for dessert. Tapa
was too sweet for me. Omelet was good ans generous on the toppings! Smores and Smack are really good! Might be to sweet for some but for the sweetooth is not gonna be a problem. The place tends to be noisy when a lot of tables are occupied! Service is friendly.. I want to try the breads next time

Being a denizen of the City of Pasig, I'm always looking for places within the area where I can grab a bite. One of my go-to places is The Grove by Rockwell, which has one of my favorite Ramen places, Hanamaruken, and Sunrise Buckets. .          For the longest time, these were the two restaurants that I would associate The Grove with, not realizing that over the past year, more and more restaurants have sprouted at their complex, making the place a virtual food lover's paradise.

It was my second time to eat at Pi Breakfast & Pies and I'm still in awe of their Smack Pie. It's just soooo good!! We tried a lot from their menu and what I noticed is that some of their food if not too salty, it's too sweet. Probably to complement the palate with a salty after eating sweet and vice versa? But nevertheless, the food was great. The serving is big and for sharing. The staff was very attentive and very welcoming which makes the experience very light and warm. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of their pies! 😋

🍴Ambiance: Very bright and good place to catch up with friends.

💸 Price: They have big servings and price you pay for is worth it.

Despite a relatively small space, The Grove by Rockwell offers a nice mix of cuisines with a line up that's both fresh and creative. Nothing similar, nothing ordinary in this spot.

Pi welcomes breakfast lovers with classic American and Filipino morning meals that you can have all day and on its side an array of their own sumptuous pie creations.

Went here too late and could only have their pies on the shelf. They were nice enough to let us consume it to neighbor, Asakusa where we had dinner. We got two well plated sweet pies.

Peanut Butter Honeycomb was a good pick despite a bit too creamy peanut butter on its top. The middle part was its best with its deliciously sweet and dense chocolate ganache. Coco banana milk biscuit crust was ideally light to compliment this piece.

Smores strength was its marshmallow which was both solid and fluffy. The rest of its parts, chocolate fudge and graham crust were as interesting. Together it's a must have pie.

I've came here to have brunch and chat up with friends, ordered Fritata didn't like it. The space holds a promise so I came back and tried another dish, they have all day breakfast, Smoke Bangus with salted egg (half) by especial request. Serving wasn't filling but I would say it's not generous too especially with salted egg! Service was great!

We ordered a number of their bestselling dishes like the Eggs Sammy, Wagyu Beef Sirloin Tapa, Caramelized Spam, and Pinoy Breakfast Platter. We also made sure to leave room for their cakes and pies - I mean, that's what they're known for, right? We got the following: Espresso Toffee, Orange and Lime, Smack Pie, Sugar-free Honey Pear Parmesan, Peanut Butter Honeycomb, Smores. It's funny how we ended up with more cakes and pies than real food, just shows how we all love desserts. The event was really more about hanging out and meeting new people than anything, but when has that ever stopped me from taking photos anyway? Haha

I actually love this place, the food was great! Although we ate on a sunday and the place was packed with people and the orders were getting mixed up from table to table. Our orders were okay and we patiently waited, but sometimes we do a follow up so to speed things up a bit. 😊 I was very satisfied with the food!!! Coffee was okay 👌 but food is yummy! Same with their desserts! The staff are nice, the place is little but the environment was good. I would definitely go back to try some of their breads but maybe i'll try going on a weekday 😁🤗😊

I was happy I ended up in Pi while waiting for my friend to arrive in Grove. I've been to Pi in Maginhawa but this was my first time in this branch.

I love the place! Their "sky light" is awesome too as it really keeps the place bright and "sunny". The place give you this outdoor/nature feel in the comfort of airconditioning. Hahaha! I actually thought I'd love to go back and read a book.

They have a few power outlets around the cafe and wifi too. Perfect for getting some work done. Which is exactly what I did.

I was looking for something light to eat and a cold drink as it was really hot outside. I decided on the Pino Iced Tea and a Pork Floss Pastel.

I liked the Pork Floss Pastel mostly because of the Pork Floss. I couldn't really figure out the pastel part as I didn't seem to have had much of the cream in it, practically only one bite of the cream. Since it's a small bun, regular pastel size, it was perfect for my something light to eat.

The Pino Iced Tea was perfect. According to the server, they brew the tea themselves and they use honey and not sugar. I hope these are true as it matters to me. It definitely did taste like brewed tea and not powdered. It was very refreshing and not too sweet.

I went back for their Pies... and I absolutely loved their Orange and Lime Pie!!! Sour, but not too sour, just the right sweetness, and pretty light too.

I can't wait to go back to try their other food and their Milo Pastel! 😊

Happy that there is a bigger and brighter branch in the area! Breakfast and Pi's menu is outstanding. A few crowd favourites are: Eggs Benny (eggs benedict but with bacon instead of farmers ham), wagyu sirloin tapa with kimchi fried rice, and caramelized spam.

Don skip dessert!  They have s'mores pie, apple pie, and the "i-have-no-idea-but-its-soo-good" pie i just had.

A good chill place for anyone looking for good food from Sunrise to sundown!
Pi has always been on my bookmarked places and I'm glad I got to try it finally!
Being guided with one of the friendliest staffs I've met "Icy" I breeze through the menu and of course it's dominated with Brekky items. We end up trying the ff for main course
Ultimate Bacon! Fried rice top with soft not oily scrambled egg and their thick sliced crispy bacon that's tender and so juicy!
Then egg's Benny the mid spicy version resting over the muffin bread is their tomato, soft boiled egg wrap in a bacon top with spicy hollandaise sauce! Creamy and savory goodness! Must try indeed
Then I was advised that since its past 8pm breads are on buy one take one so I grab the chance to buy some take out goodies. But we also had some bread like the soft cheese roll which btw I recommend the Nutella ensaymada which I find too sweet but good. For dessert we did not miss the chance to try a pie specialty which happens to be the peanut butter pie to describe the taste it's like Reese's the pie version literally and it's better with their brewed coffee "molongo" a French brand which is really better enjoyed as it is no milk jut few sweetener I had 2 cups because I really enjoyed it!
Since we are planning on something having available plug is a plus though they don't have wifi and even cellular data is weak on that part of the Grove. Over all it's a good dining experience + the star siting of couples Carmina and Zoren who happens to enjoy Pi as well.

The place is well lit and nicely designed. It's a nice breakfast place, good atmosphere to start the day.

I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. It's good but I didn't see that it has pork and beans. I'm not a fan of that. It's also different from Dulcinea's huevos. I like the Spanish one with chorizo. This huevos has italian sausage and for me it doesn't compliment the dish. It doesn't taste bad and it's reasonably priced. They can add more sauce so it doesn't get dry over time.

The sticky bun is yummy with lots of walnuts. It's not too sweet. I had a sideorder of bacon and ate it with my sticky bun. Oh boy it's soooo good! Goodluck to me... gaining pounds everyday for all these sweets and pairings.

Pancake is dense. Heavy, a flufflier and lighter one is much more appreciated by our group. Apple pie is good. Cheesecake is also yummy.

Parking is free for the 1st three hours.

We went into Pi Breakfast and Pies for some dessert.

Hubby had the S'mores Pie which was so delicious. The graham crust wasn't too sweet. It had the right texture. The chocolate fudge was luscious, rich and slightly bitter just the way I like it. It tastes like they used good quality chocolate too. The Marshmallow topping wasn't overly sweet. Every component of this pie complemented each other.

My Nutella Ensaymada intrigued me. Hello nutella!!!! Although the nutella filling wasn't evenly spread out, there was enough to satisfy me. I liked the glaze and the cheese too. The ensaymada was dense and filling.

Both desserts were nicely plated and presented.

The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable of their food.

We liked the feel of the place and we can see ourselves hanging out here. Had we known that they weren't just a desserts and bread place, we would have eaten dinner here instead.

We went to Pi Breakfast & Pies for a late lunch. We ordered the Eggs Benny, Caramelized Spam and Pear Pie.

The retaurant was great. The menu had an interesting design. The breads, pies and other pastries were placed around the counter, so it's easier to choose what to order. They also had a TV showing featured pies.

Eggs Benny - They nailed the presentation, no doubt. I expected a traditional but elevated Eggs Benedict though. One of the eggs was overcooked. They ran out of Muffins, so I agreed to replace the base with Baguette. The bread made it difficult to eat the dish. The majority of the asparagus was too tough to eat. The biggest surprise was the Hollandaise Sauce. It tasted more like Cheese Whiz Pimiento than Hollandaise.

Caramelized Spam - It looked like a really homey dish. The egg was cooked at the right temp this time. The pesto on top of the egg and the Kimchi added a great kick to the flavor. If not for too much crystalized sugar on the edges of the Spam, it would have been a perfect dish.

Pear Pie - It's my first Pear Pie, so I'm not sure if it should be as acidic as how the pie came out. However, the crust was solid and (for me) tasted better than the filling. I would have wanted a more generous serving of the cream though.

Not much to remember about the service. Not bad, but nothing commendable.

Since they easily run out of staple breads, it would be better to give them a visit in the morning. But, they have a Buy 1 Take 1 promo by 8pm for the remaining breads.

I would say they give an 'ok' deal for the price and how the food taste.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for any of us who work on the daily grind. With Pi Breakfast & Pies this restaurant will make you wish that you would never have to go to work in the first place. Their wide selection of waffles, pancakes and other breakfast favorites will satisfy your craving for all things breakfast. During my stay I was blessed to sample their Eggs Benedict based on my personal preferences and the results were amazing. The only downside of this particular dish was the serving size where they could have made the portion a little bigger. However, most parts of the dish were cooked to near perfection along with the entire dish tasting marvelous as a whole. Not only that but they live up to their name of a pie-themed restaurant where i got the chance to order their delicious Orange and Lime Pie which surprisingly turned out to be a shot of sour goodness. This restaurant will most certainly see me again wanting to have another taste of breakfast in the morning or in any day of the week.

Living at The Grove has been ten times more amazing ever since The Retail Row opened. Pi Breakfast & Pies is one of the places that I wouldn't mind going to everyday.

My personal favorite is the Ultimate Bacon Rice - three bacon slabs on top of garlic rice with bacon bits, with bacon jam on the side.

The Caramelized Spam also seems to be popular, but I have it served without the kimchi rice since I'm weak when it comes to spicy flavors.

Make sure you get a carafe of Pino Iced Tea for sharing if you're two or more.

For those who don't mind pancakes at any time of the day, definitely give those a try. Read the fine print though- servings come in three pieces an order, so don't be surprised!

Pro-tip: Their breads and pastries go on buy one-take one everyday from 8 pm onwards. My favorite steal is the Nutella Ensaymada.

And how can we forget the pies? I recommend the banana cream pie if you're looking for something lighter, and the s'mores pie if you're willing to indulge. These go on promo from time to time as well. (Ehem: Pi Day = 3/14)

The place is really quaint and artsy, and the staff is really friendly! I say try it ASAP.

It was early in the morning when me and my friend finally decided to try this restaurant out. I ordered their Eggs Benny and my friend had Eggs Sammy. We also had Orange and Lemon Pie for dessert and Lemon Basil to quench our thirst. LOL. Service was great, especially our server, JR. Food was great as well. The sriracha on my Eggs Benny was perfect. I was able to taste my friend's Sammy and it was superb. The ambience is okay, music not too loud. Just a few things to note, though. And since this is a breakfast place, they might want to consider subscribing to a local newspaper for customers to read. Also, in this day and age, restaurants with WiFi have become a necessity. And with having little to no signal inside the resto, I think having it would maybe appease their customers in a way. It would invite more customers, too, in my opinion. I recommended Pi to all my friends and we'll be coming back soon.

Three Cheese Grilled Pancakes
Pork and Beans

The place was relaxing and it felt like eating at a garden. The waitresses were good with their customers. However, the waiting time for the food was quite long. We waited for about 30min until we got our food.

The pancakes lived up to how it was described in the menu, only that I did not forsee how weird it would be. Two pancakes sandwiching cheeses with slices of green apple... to be honest, it tasted okay.. but it was the orange-honey sauce that spoiled the dish for me as it was TOO SWEET. First bite and i was already like 😣. Good thing they poured the sauce at the side and did not spread it or else i would have given it back to the kitchen.

The pork in the pork and beans looked like corned beef, and the beans were not out-of-the-can ones. It also included two sunny-side up eggs and two pieces of bread. My friend said it was delicious and she seemed to enjoy the dish.

Soft opening review: This place is surprisingly good. For savory meals I mean...I wasn't too happy with their ensaimada or cheese roll, although their smack pie was nice(but a bit too sweet for me) and their crazy cookie tasted ok (needs to be crazier though. I was expecting sprinkles with sour cream and bacon and hammer shavings or something, not just a simple cookie with nuts).

Anyway, back to the ensaimada and cheese roll...they were soft and seemed fresh with quality ingredients but i found an aftertaste I didn't quite agree with. Had some chemical tinge to it, but then again I could be wrong in categorizing the taste. Maybe it's some super organic flour they used and my tongue's too used to processed foods and fast food that I can't identify what the heck that un agreeable aftertaste was.

Oh wait, I remember trying their toasted brioche. That was good. No unidentifiable aftertaste for me and it had that slight buttery crispness that was very satisfying. Perfect if all you want is a clean, simple, quality bread.

The longanisa was tasty, meaty with subtle spices and little fat which is what I like and it was full. Apparently its homemade, and the vinegar definitely added more oomph. I had the fritata, which was also quite good, no overwhelming flavor of just cheese or ham or peppers, the medley of ingredients was balanced well, but my favorite would have to be their corned beef. Its not the shredded kind, its the meaty chunky type that looks like its fresh from the deli not the can. Paired with the garlic fried rice, it was absolutely delicious. Unlike the longanissa where all the spices can get kind too much after awhile, the corned beef was genteel on the tongue. The value for money here, for everything, is great! I can see myself frequenting this place as the food has a good range of price, variety and portion.

Do yourself a favor and don't get the iced coffee. It's the cheapest one from all the other cafes in The Grove but it's also the most watery. However, if that's what you like then go ahead.

The service here is fine. The servers knew their food and could answer the questions we asked and they didn't get our orders or later requests wrong, except when it was time to ask for the bill. They gave us change for an already paid bill and when they finally gave our table's bill, a few items were missing. We could have just walked away twice. Once without paying anything or with paying less than what we ordered.

I liked the menu design as its rare to see round menus, but a picture of the food would be nice or they could slideshow the food on their tv monitor with the name of the food. The menu is a bit heavy and cumbersome but hey I'm just glad its not the corkboard hipster cafe menu that is so often seen in contemporary cafes nowadays.

Ambiance is clean, organized to a degree, and the inclusion of live plants on the shelves breathe warmth and healthiness. Am wondering if those are for sale, there are names for them...There are also hand printed quotes decorating the space and sketch like images of food on chalkboard-ish wallpaper border, which gives a off a homey, handmade vibe.

Can't wait to go back here and try their breakfast and juices. They're promoting their spam dish, so I guess I should try that when I'm in this place again.
