Wow podium now expanded into a huge very clean and condusive place to go..highly recommended to all.. so very nice and there’s a Market place where you can go for marketing its complete..I loved it.
A very nice and a great place to shop and dine with the family and friends.
A nice place with a nice people surronded by. Especially the stores and facilities. I'm always there co'z i'm working beside the the building.
It has always been my fave mall eversince it opened because it is quiet, clean, upscale. But the new Podium is so much better...it's not too big, not too small like it used to be. It's just my place to meet clients, bring my laptop to do some quick work, and bring my kids to indulge in the new Corner Market. Food there is reasonably priced and delish. It also has a grocery at the basement to complete my list of To Buy. The guards are strict yet friendly. The elevator people are courteous. The valet drivers are helpful and maintenance crew is always upbeat. I can't wait till they open the cinema. Otherwise, it's quite the holistic mall you can hang out the entire day to do your tasks.
I enjoyed my breaktime here & there but since not in my nerve to post resto/ bar/ coffee shops/ cuisine foods no matter how good, cant help taking the views from places where I enjoyed my stuff while working with my gadgets. I seldom do posts but this is an equipped hang-out & clinged to share.
Very honest personal, naiwan ko ang aking iPad sa rest room. Binalikan ko after a few hours and the person in maintenance told me she submitted it to the lost and found office.. Great!, Thank you Miss Angelyn C. Meniel.
I really love it even before but it is much better now that it will be a big Mall. Additonal Mall attraction to our country.
The place is better and has good selection of restaurants. Hope to see more shops in the near future.
We had chicken tikka masala, chicken 65 and cheese naan. Food were amazing. It was legit Indian food. Both were flavorful, not lacking in spices. The cheese naan complemented it but I personally prefer buttered naan after trying cheese naan. For drinks, we had sweet lassi to counter the spiciness with sweet-sour taste of cold yogurt lassi. I've been to other New Bombay branches and this branch serves a smaller dish in comparison. It's also inside the mall so it's not separate from the mall area near the cinema in the 3rd floor. Good place for any Indian food cravings!
I really love Indian food, so the fact that New Bombay provides good, quality Indian dishes at an affordable price makes it one of my go-tos for a crave. I usually go for Chicken Tikka Masala, but all their Muttons, especially their Mutton Curry are steals at 265 pesos. The curry is spiced really well, is rich and not too spciy, and the Naans that go with it really complement the dish.
I also love their Chicken Samosas. The chicken with all those exotic spices and chick peas are just the thing to tide a bad day. I would definitely order again via delivery.
Excellent , I can not believe that I could get Dal Tadaka better than India.
one thing missing was Indian Bollywood songs & GAZALs.
If could get Thali also then nothing better than that(very good for single person)
The ideal Indian curry is perfectly coated in carefully concocted sauce with all its juices locked in, waiting to burst forth at first bite. New Bombay has this recipe down pat.
Their Vegatable Jalfrezi is my favourite. I've never had potatoes cooked to taste so meaty and tender. The outside was crispy and tangy. Honestly an amazing dish especially if you're trying to cut down on meat but want that meaty satisfaction. It was well cooked, tender, and the curry was just the right level of spice and consistency (not too watery or thick).
The Chicken Biryani was exceptional for the quality of the spices in it. Also, another personal favourite are the Samosas - perfectly flaky and crunchy on the outside but filled to the max on the inside. Really wanted to order more but we were pretty full already. Service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back to try the other dishes!
Chicken Tikka Masala - My choice of dish for the night paired with Cheese Naan. Masala is a mix of spices. There’s no particular recipe for it. They generally call any mix as Masala. This dish had tender pieces of boneless chicken that were grilled in a thick tomato based sauce with an exotic masala. It was topped off with grated cheese. The sauce had a strong smell of spices and when you taste it, it will wake up your senses. It’s silky and smooth and creamy. I opted to get a mildly spicy version so that it wouldn’t be pain for the hubby but I would say that a really spicy one would be the top choice. Also loved the notes of cilantro in this dish.
Mutton Curry - This was husband’s choice of dish which he also paired with Cheese Naan. Mutton is practically the meat of an adult sheep and the term refers to the meat only and not the living animal. This dish was made up of tender chunks of mutton in a thick tomato based sauce with onion gravy. It’s then topped off with more onions! We asked for a mildly spicy version again and I would say that I liked this dish more. Maybe it’s because of the meat. The meat was more flavorful and went well with the strong spices.
Cheese Naan - The warm Naan with gooey cheese inside was the perfect pair for our dishes. It held the sauces well. Loved the bite and the chewiness of the naan and we even ordered some extra for take out!
This place offers good Indian food at a very reasonable price. No frills no fancy manifestations just good (not great though) straight up Indian food. The quality of the food is consistent across the dishes may it be their massala, tandoori or their rogan josh. The rich flavors of the Indian sub continent permeates your palate and leaves you satisfied.
My favorite Indian place to date. I’ve been to this branch many times. I even go there to eat alone or have them deliver to my home. Photo is Spinach Rice with Chicken Biryani. Approximately 3 cups of rice, I get to finish it in one go. I also prefer ordering their Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tandoori. Must orders also include their Lentils selection.
Ordered zomato delivery from here to my office in Ortigas. It arrived within an hour.
Rating on food delivered:
Chicken Tikka - 2/5 - chicken was hard and quite bland under its exterior.
Aloo Mutter - 4/5 - excellent creamy gravy with good chunks of potatoes and peas.
Vegetable Pulaw- 3/5 - pieces of peas and carrots on well cooked basmati rice
Chicken Biryani - 3.5/5 - chicken pieces were more succulent in this dish on flavored basmati rice.
Good meal to share with an officemate.
New Bombay at the Podium might be its best location in terms of parking space, seating capacity and crowd. Easy parking always at the Podium, there are enough seats and you don't get claustrophobic.
Things I often order... the Samosas (deep fried pastries stuffed with meat, potatoes and peas)... Tandoori Chicken (chicken marinated in yoghurt and garam masala)..... Palak Paneer (Cottage cheese cubes with creamed spinach).... Chicken TIkka Masala.. and Mutton Curry (sheep meat in curry sauce).
Still one of the best dining experiences for me, New Bombay is just as reliable, authentic, and memorable as when we first came here years ago. I found it difficult to eat Indian food in other restaurants after trying it. I've sampled many of their dishes and have always gone back to these old favorites: Dal Makani, Paneer Tawa Masala, Chicken Korma, Samosa, Cheese Naan, Peshwari Naan, Chapatti, and Almond Lassi. The heat of the dishes can be adjusted from being mild to spicy. The Plain Yogurt is a favored takeaway item, too!
Servers do not typically smile, but service is prompt. Nothing fancy here; one simply drops in for a meal and leaves with a full heart and tummy.
Such a shame Manila has very few accessible Indian restaurants. Thank God for the New Bombay franchise. Accessible and great food. Liked also the fact that the food have been modified a bit to suit the Filipino palette (less spices, more sweetness). Only concern in this resto is the interior. Could use more colors which India is known for.

Very good food and service. Tried the paneer korma, bindi fry dry (though It was served with some masala) and dhal makani. All good and reasonably-priced. Will go back whenever I need to entertain Vegetarian guests at work! Mango lassi a bit sour though.
Not a fond of Indian cuisine at first, but this definitely worth a try! Authentic Indian cuisine! And servings are really good for the price.
My husband introduced me to this Indian cuisine 4 or 5 yrs ago and until now, we ordered the same Cheese Naan which is my daughter's fave, chicken masala, pappadum, Begumsumthin and the one with the cubed cheese..Anyway, I never remembered their names but the taste is just unforgettable.. We dined, to-go and home delivered this New Bombay deliciousness. We won't get tired of eating their superb tasting dishes. 😙😙😙
Nice restaurant to dine in for your Indian food craving....
Awesome dishes with very good pricing....
The only thing this branch needs to improve on are: (1) the service of the wait staff which is a very big factor in the success of any restaurant... (2) widen their wine selection as well as the serving temperature of each wine varietal (they only have 1 white and 1 red and are both stored in their refrigerator)
Still, we had a great time eating the dishes we ordered as everything were DELICIOUS!!!
Will definitely try the other dishes in their menu (at their other branches... laughs)
Check out the photos and see what we ordered...
Cheers!!!
This is the ultimate go-to for spice lovers! It's Bollywood movie in your mouth! Feel your taste buds dancing with the exciting flavors and spices. Start off with heavenly samosas and paneers, top it with lamb curry, and swim through a seductive river of sweet and warm Gulab balls soaked in rose and cardamom-infused syrup. Get whisked away with the gods! They come in reasonable servings and service is very fast. I would eat here every single day and eat the same thing over and over.
