Tomhawks does not only have the best chops in southeast asia but the best american style comfort food period! as a world traveler and retired culinary professional from usa i must say chef Charles and crew have hit a grandslam winner with the execution of grilling technique and flavor profiles.i ordered the signature chop entree and fried chicken both with dirty rice.the meat was perfectly seasoned tender juicy and just melted in my mouth.What is the secret that truly reveals the love and passion of the food...is the sauces....the bbq sauce is magical...i just want to put it on everything and dunk everything in it...its that yummykaya....the gravy for the mash p was velvety.and what really caught the attention of my tastebuds was the Mac and cheese.one the best ive ever had...I swear to the big Gboss! it has a wonderful creamy fresh milky flavor that you can really taste.All i can say is Just get in your car and go....you will be addicted my friends.....promise!!!

Unli wings 3 thumbs up! Nakakaasar ang sarap, gusto ko pa pero busog na! Food is worth the price! Like eating at fancy grill resto at half the price. Excellent job on the food, menu, marketing and the service. I just thought the TV was out of place and lighting might need a little more intimate feel.

My husband and I when to Tomahawk for dinner the other night and I must say, WOW! We have lived near it for few years and never expected that the food and service will be so excellent. My husband had a waffle with work and I had BBQ ribs and everything was cooked to perfection and most importantly served with perfect service. And all our takeout was packed nicely in the takeout boxes which kept food perfect to take to work next day for lunch!!!

What really pulled me in to try this joint was their unli-wings promo. Well as a chicken-lover, the experience was good for me. You can also try out the other flavors like the sour cream and salted egg that are very much crowd favorites here. Will definitely go back if ever I get that chicken wing craving again! :)

We got their grilled chops. Was worried when it was served, was thinking it might be tough. It wasn't, it was juicy and so tasty. So was the garlic mushroom. The only downside during our visit was a lot of the sides and some mains were unavailable. Although my partner enjoyed the chops, it was already a third choice. Ordered food from here via Foodpanda. Delivery 2as on time and food was packed well with each dish labeled.

At just Php 215 per dish, this place offers commendable value-for-money.

Country Fried Chicken was really good. We got it with mashed potatoes which also was good. Salisbury Steak was ok with a side of grilled corn. Grilled Rosemary Chicken lacked favor and needed more sauce. We got this with side of fries.

When you're in Kapitolyo be sure to check our Tomahawk Chops and Grill! It's the best choice if you're with your Barkada because the portion of their servings are huge! My favorite thing about this joint is their SIDES! Yup! You heard me! SIDES! I love that they have corn side and not with carrots but simply corn. I also love their rib sauce it was not too spicy! It's a perfect spot when you are out with the big group because you can all share!

Tomahawk is currently offering unlimited Ribs+ Wings + Ice Tea for 495 pesos. Compared to their old deal of just unli-ribs for 575 pesos, and considering how their ribs ala cart is 435 pesos and their wings is approximately 185 pesos an order, this is a good deal. Their ribs aren't the best- some were tough and only some parts were soft. The sauce wasn't great either, tasting more like soy sauce than actual rib sauce. For their wings, they have a wide variety of flavors-Kimchi, Wasabi, Salted Egg, Sesame, Buffalo, Sweet, Sour Garlic and Onion and Cheesy Jalapeno. Of the flavors, their Salted Egg, Sweet and Sesame are ones to try. The wings vary in sized and some are cooked better than others, but the different flavors makes it worthwhile.

Service is good and wi-fi is functional. Their area out the back is currently closed which is a con, but overall, a good eat.

It's my first time here in kapitolyo pasig, I've been hearing a lot from this place and finally i got to try it with friends.

My friend already tried tomahawk's unli wings before and said that it's good. And since we are all HUNGRRRYY, we all decided to eat something thats unlimited.

Their unli chicken was good. It comes with variety of flavors. Must try is the sweet wings!
They also gave us a basket of fries 😂 courtesy of the staff who accidentally spilled iced tea on the clothes of our friend.

My husband and I had an overall good experience dining at Tomahawk Kapitolyo. The spicy rice was good but a bit hard, as if it has been heated several times. The salmon was cooked well, the pasta that came with it not so great but still okay. Loved the fact they had garlic mushrooms as a side order for only Php50! I love mushrooms, so that was great. Hubby enjoyed his porkchops! 😀

My real problem with the place is the service. Food's all well and good, dessert was delicious and the place itself is nice. The service, however, is terrible. I personally felt like I was giving the crew a hard time by being there and asking for their attention when ordering something, which is hard enough because they keep huddling together at the counter talking about God-knows-what. They'd scowl when they're supposed to smile and should apologize when an item is unavailable, but they didn't and simply just left me hanging without asking if I wanted anything else. I'm not the kind to criticize service if it really is good or at least average, but this place just didn't make me feel welcome to their establishment. Please address!

First thing I liked about the place was that it is bigger on the inside than on the outside. Further in is another area with more tables, so coming in groups isn't a problem.

The waiter was pretty busy but quickly spotted us and attended patiently to our inquiries. We were told we had to wait around twenty-five minutes for the chicken chops we ordered, so it was a pleasant surprise for us to receive them in roughly less than fifteen. The main dishes arrived before the appetizer (wings) though. Not quite the proper order of things, but we didn't really mind.

We both ordered two varieties of chicken chops aside from the wings, and I find that the generous serving and good flavor warranted the price. My chicken could have done better with a couple more minutes in the heat, but it was nothing to complain about.

What I enjoyed most was the side dish of garlic mushrooms, they were flavorful but the garlic was not too strong, and neither were they too oily. They were just perfect!

Overall a good experience, and in spite of the unlimited wings promo being over the place is worth a visit.

Finally stuffed and happy, the F3 moved to the next destination with our new friends, Triple Js. While still at Silantro, we decided on where we should go next and we all decided to give Tomahawk Chops & Grill a try.

When we arrived, all the long tables were occupied and the available tables (which were too small for a party of six) were spread out. The server then suggested that we go to the second floor. Second floor?! We were all surprised that there is a second floor. We all had an impression that it’s a very small restaurant.

The second floor is adorable. There are giant letters that spell EAT and CHOPS. The walls are also adorned with frames.

After a short while, we decided to go for the Grilled Tomahawk Chops (PHP295) and Grilled Baby Back Ribs (PHP425). For our sides, we went with mashed potatoes and string beans. I also ordered a glass of the Premium Iced Tea (PHP60/glass).

Food was served shortly and after a few snapshots here and there, we started to taste the food.

The grilled tomahawk chops had a weird taste. Perhaps the pork used wasn’t that fresh. After two bites, I had to give up. I heard though that this is one of their bestsellers. We probably went on the wrong day.

The ribs were great though. It was slightly burnt but still delectable. The meat was soft and well marinated. I loved the sweet sauce too. Plus two racks for PHP425, it’s a good deal.

The iced tea was indeed a house blend with a tinge of lemon. Refreshing!

Since we find the place so comfy, we decided to stay there for a while to play Cards Against Humanity and have dessert from Kool Kids (which will be in another entry).

Overall, it’s a nice hangout place for big groups. The ribs were good. I heard that the mushroom fries were yummy as well. However, I’ll probably hesitate to give the chops another chance.

This restaurant is popular for their unlimited chicken wings, not only that but also unlimited rice, unlimited iced tea and 1 side dish. They have many waiting customers outside, but it took us less minutes than other customers because we only need table for 2. They offer many different flavors - sweet, sour and cream, cheesy japaleño, wasabi and spicy. In the menu, there is a buffalo flavor but I don't know why the waiter didn't offered it to us. It costs almost Php 400. You can order different flavor each time you ask for your next round of chicken wings. In your first order, you will be given 10 pieces then succeeding will be 5 pieces only. The sweet flavored wings tasted a little bit too sweet I think but it's still delicious. The sour and cream flavored wings is what we liked the most. I saw that this restaurant has low ratings and negative comments; but for our experience, the crew were very accommodating and everything was good. Every time I call a waiter, he immediately attends to us. We only waited few minutes for our next order. Waiters also refilled our drinks time to time. So basically, they have a good service. They also have wifi. I just hope they will offer garlic parmesan flavor.

Their chicken and waffles dish was surprisingly good. Sulit kasi the size makes it good for 2! The chops was okay. It was big but seemed to be lacking something that would make it stand out. The mac and cheese siding surprised me since it tasted different- but different good. Also ordered their Chili cheese Fries. The fries, sauce and meat was good but the grated ordinary cheese threw it off for me. Would have been better if served with melted mozzarella. Sayang. Already tried tomahawk but my bestfriend haven't so I took her there. Don't be fooled with the small entrance as they have a roomier spot at the back. My bestfriend ordered the Grilled Rosemary Chicken that comes with a side of mushroom and fries (P215) while I ordered a Pulled Pork Waffle-wich that comes with apple slaw (P225).

The rosemary dish had lots of serving and was fulfilling too as it was cooked well. The pulled pork was yummy altho there was an aftertaste with the waffle that I didnt like but didn't notice as I was completing the meal. Overall I liked it.

For dessert we had the wookie (P125) to my surprise the waffle they used for this dessert was delicious and complemented the ice cream and chocolate syrup. It was warm like a pre-heated cookie with icecream on top.

Service 4/5 - they were nice and helped us with our instagram feed haha
Food 4/5 - Nice food overall
Price 4/5 - Fairly cheap for that kind of serving.

Buffalo flavor- spicy enough. But if you're looking for intensely hot wings, you can't find it here.
Sour and cream- one of my favorite flavors! It's like eating fries or chips! :)
Sweet- this should be replaced by sweet and spicy. Nevertheless, It's a crowd favorite. :) there's harmony between sweet and spicy.
Cheesy Jalapeño- it lacks cheesiness in spite of the generous spread of the sauce.

The place is perfect for barkada meetings! You need to wait for less than 30 min though for your wing refill so might as well use that time to catch up with you friends.

After cab cafe we walk a few blocks and got to Tomahawk Chops & Grill. Its a small place and a bar at the end were I stay to wait for again another take out order. Have 2 choices Grilled or Fried Tomahawk chops with rice and 2 sides. I choose Grilled the fried rice is on adobo sauce and it came with a cup of pipino and bake macaroni. The chops is a bit hard to chew and there's an aftertaste with the rice. Love thier bbq sauce.

Smoky grilled chops with the right amount of flavor to complement the side dishes. Tomahawk may not have the best-tasting chops but you'll appreciate their plate-full serving. It's overwhelming. Tried out this joint some nights ago. This chops and grill joint has an on-going wings-all-u-can and steak-all-u can. It was late, and there was a sign that showed a 8pm cutoff on the wings-all-u-can (where we learned later that they extended the cutoff time to 930pm). Being my first visit, I just tried out their buffalo wings while my wife had the porkchop. The taste was better than I expected. The size of the porkchop eclipsed the usual restaurant porkchop dish. The buffalo wings taste was what we were looking for, it was just right.

UNLI-WINGS! Pretty much the sole reason I went here and it was worth it. Damn, the wait was a little long because there were reserved tables and lotsa people, but once seated, I immediately ordered their wings. The first order was spicy, and it was heavenly. Not too spicy as to forget all other flavor, but it was hot enough to make me finish the rice. Good thing there was unlimited iced tea packaged in the price for refreshment. Finished the first order quick and immediately ordered the other option which was sweet wings. Sweet mother of Jesus, the flavor was amazing! This was my preferred choice and I finished the wings down, barely touching the rice. Protein baby! It was so good I ordered another order of sweet wings, holy daaaaaaaaamn! I would order another order after that one, but it was well past their cutoff time and the waiters seemed to be waiting for us to leave. I still got another of glass of iced tea in before we left though.

I will save up again and come back here at an earlier time to really get the most out of their unli-wings promo. Daaaaaaamn! Nice.

The food was great, serving's huge. You really get what you paid for. I was just a bit disappointed with my order (chicken and waffles) because it tasted nothing like I imagined, and hoped it would be. The other order (grilled tomahawk chops) is good naman.

Probably the biggest downside was the parking (like most restaurants in this area) can only fit 1 car. Lucky the building beside it was being renovated then, so we left our car there. If you plan to visit, best go there around 2pm when it is not as full.

And yess, I'm a fan of wings! Indeed! This time, it's Tomahawk's buffalo wings! This month, they have this promo of Unli Buffalo Wings (different flavors) plus unli iced tea and once choice of side dish only for P375! I took this as an advantage, of course! This picture was the spicy flavored buffalo wings with corn as the side this and ranch dip! It was spicy! Around level 6-7, which is not bad for those who crave for spicy foods. It also has this barbecue taste that made the wings very toothsome! Yummy! It has the mix taste of spicy and sweet, but more on the spicy part. 😁
To my surprise, their wings were also crispy! Which is very rare for any buffalo wings, right? The usual wings are dipped into sauce and fried, but take this one differently! While you can hear the crispiness while you eat, you can also savor the flavor! I've tried as well their sweet buffalo version, it was barbecue-er, hehe. We went here 10 minutes before 6 pm. There were customers outside waiting for them to open.They've let us enter around 6:05 pm. We waited for some of the crew to finished their food on the 2nd level.Their 2nd level has more chairs and tables. Their 2nd level also has television.After 5 minutes of being seated the crew get our order. So I ordered their Buffalo wings with dirty rice and I really wanted to try their Johnny crockets but unfortunately, it was not available. My partner ordered their grilled tomahawk chops with dirty rice and root beer float.It took almost 20 minutes for the food to be served. The buffalo wings blend very well with the pepper sauce. The spiciness of the buffalo is very addictive.The tomahawk chops is the bomb. The meat is very tender, thick and juicy!
The price is very worth it.Their dirty rice tasted like the rice from a burrito.I also like their root beer float because instead of vanilla, it comes with a cookies and cream ice cream.

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to Tomahawk Chops & Grill to check out their food. I had seen it before, it is on East Capitol Drive, a little further down from the Kapitolyo guard house.

The name Tomahawk made me think of American Indians, but aside from that, I had little idea of what to expect.

The restaurant is small, about 1 1/2 the size of a small townhouse. The front is about one car wide. There are stairs at the back that lead to the mezzanine area that seats more people. If you are lucky, you can find parking space in front. Otherwise, you can park nearby, there are plenty of parking spaces overseen by some watch-your-car-boys.

The restaurant is a casual place that is reminiscent of a cowboy-era saloon. It is generally clean, but there is room for improvement. Like I said, it is a very casual place and billed as an affordable place to eat in the Kapitolyo food strip. It is one of those places that have a TV playing in the background and where you might end up watching the shows while eating.

THE FOOD

I learned that Tomahawk Chops & Grill is actually famous for their Wings-All-You-Can! They started the promo some time ago, and it was so popular that they just kept extending it! At the moment, the Wings-All-You-Can has been extended until February 29, 2016.

We started with the Chili Cheese Fries (P155). I am not a big fries person, but I liked how the potatoes were fried – they weren’t soggy, even after being topped with the beefy chili and grated cheese. The fries were also not greasy.

We also got to try the famous wings! There are three flavors available – Buffalo Wings (the original flavor), Sweet Wings, and the newly introduced Cheesy Jalapeno. These are P180 per order, but you can go Wings-All-You-Can for only P375.

I liked the Sweet Wings the best. The Buffalo Wings were spicy but not too hot. The wings skins were crispy and were well-coated with sauce.

FYI, the Wings-All-You-Can is P375 per person and includes unlimited rice, unlimited iced tea, and one serving of buttered corn, which I found a bit on the salty side. Once you finish your first serving of wings, just ask for another serving.

These are Tomahawk’s Johnny Crockets (P185), which I think are a must-order! They are balls of yum! Haha! No, seriously. Imagine a hunk of cheese, wrapped in creamy mashed potato, then breaded, then wrapped in bacon, then fried! And then paired with a honey mustard sauce.

Who cares about calories when the food is just this tempting and comforting?

For the mains, my favorite was the Pulled Pork Waffle-wich (P225). The pulled pork is sweet and dressed with a tangy, spicy barbecue sauce. The coleslaw works really well with the pulled pork. All in all, this is the unexpected favorite! When I return to Tomahawk, I will definitely be ordering this!

The Grilled Rosemary Chicken (P215) was actually moist and sweet, and the rosemary flavor was very evident.

The other main entrees we tried still need some work though.

- Smoky Shrimp Creole (P375)

- Country Fried Steak (P295)

- Grilled Baby Back Ribs (P435)

- Grilled Tomahawk Chops with Dirty Rice (P295 + add P25 for the Dirty Rice)

Dirty Rice is Tomahawk’s flavored fried rice.

For dessert, we had the Wookie (P125), a combination of a waffle and a cookie and topped with ice cream! It’s like a childhood dream come true, no? It is actually not too sweet or cloying. I liked it.

For drinks, we were able to try 3 different iced teas. Here is a carafe each of Peach Iced Tea (P150 per carafe), Cool Cucumber (P150 per carafe), and Sweet Pink Guava (P150 per carafe).

The Cool Cucumber and Sweet Pink Guava iced teas are pretty different from what you find in other restaurants and are worth a try. Tomahawk also has beer available, aside from the usual soft drinks options

SUMMARY

I wouldn’t consider Tomahawk Chops & Grill’s food fancy – it is comfort food filled with fried potatoes and chicken wings and things like cookie waffles. However, for what it is – affordable comfort food, it hits the spot with some dishes!

Recommended are the Johnny Crockets, their Wings-All-You-Can (just because they are great value for wings lovers), and their Pulled Pork Waffle-wich. The other items on the menu have room for improvement.

We had the Tomahawk Chops and Country Fried Chicken for dinner with garlic mushrooms and mac and cheese as side dish. The porkchops were the highlight of the restaurant because of their signature sauce but I didn't really find anything special about it. The meat was kind of hard to slice though. The Country Fried Chicken tasted good with the gravy and dirty rice. I like also the garlic mushrooms that came with the dish. Overall, I would say I would go back for the chicken maybe :)

It was my first time to join a foodie meetup. Im just happy that my meeting was near the venue.

Tomahawk is an on-the bone Rib Steak, cut from the fore-rib with the entire rib bone left. Its how the meat was cut.

Tomahawk is owned by a group of people who i believe have passion for food. I've met one of the owners and he's so generous and accomodating to answer all queries we had that night. Aside from being new (been open for 2 years now), they were able to manage the competition by offering several dishes that are affordable yet with quality.

They have this promo of unlimited wings which comes in 3 flavors: swings (sweet), buffalo wings (perfect and highly recommended) and the wings with jalapeno. Its being served and available all day.

Got to try as well their signature dish, the tomahawk grilled porkchop. Taste was perfecr though it was served a bit cold. Presentation was enticing too. Baby back ribs" sauce was superb! Need to check on the ribs as it should fell from its bone. Mine was a bit hard.

I also love their pulled pork in waffle. That caught me by surprise. Combination of the waffle and pork was amazing. Johnny crockets is two thumbs up! The mashed potatoe was cooked to perfection!

They also served rosemary chicken, shrimp in creole sauce, fries and much more!

Needs to improve on both exterior and interior look though but over all rating..........👌👍. Can' wait to bring my friends here!

Tomahawk serves american comfort food. The exterior of the restaurant looks small and unintimidating but once inside there is a stair that leads to the bigger dining area and is beautifully, but can improve, designs in relation to the Tomahawk vibe.
Some of the dishes we tried were really delicious and some has lots of potential to improve. They offer generous servings and you will get your money's worth.

BUFFALO WINGS - I recommend ordering the swings, a mix of sweet and spicy. As for the unli-wings that they offer, you can choose every flavor they have. It also includes unli-rice and one side dish for P375, a very good deal indeed.

JOHNNY CROCKETS - The ultimate comfort appetizer. Fried mashed potato that is wrapped with a bacon. Their mashed potato doesn't taste fake and came-out-of-the-box.

GRILLED TOMAHAWK CHOPS - Perfectly spiced and goes well with the dirty rice. Would really taste a lot better if it is more tender.

PULLED PORK WAFFLE-WICH - This dish surprised me as I rarely encounter delicious waffles. The pulled prok is tender and the flavors compliment the waffle. The apple slaw is a nice addition that marries the dish.

THE WOOKIE - The waffle-cookie is crispy on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside. It comes with a vanilla ice cream scoop that balances the sweetness of this dessert.

COOL CUCUMBER COOLER - Really refreshing. Especially helpful in cleansing the palate.

I would definitely return and excited to try dishes and their improvements! Thank you Zomato for the foodie meet-up invite!

Before I start with my review I would like to thank Zomato and Tomahawk for the sumptuous dinner that we had!! It was a blast!

Appetizer/s

•Chili Cheese Fries - the taste was good but then it lacked in terms of presentation.

•Wings (Buffalo,Swings,Cheesy Jalapeño) - what I liked most is the Swings because it was somehow sweet and spicy! BTW, They still have his ongoing promo on their wings for only 375php if I'm not mistaken that comes with unli drinks and wings plus rice that comes with one free side dish so what are you waiting for!! It is available anytime of the day flavor for the wings are also interchangeable.

•Johnny Crockets - my personal favorite very delicious in every bite!! Mashed Potatoes with cheese on the inside breaded then wrapped with bacon! I'll be coming back for more!!

Mains

•Grilled Tomahawk Chops - very delicious the chops the meat was tender too it did really redeemed the name of the restaurant. So thumbs up for that!

•Grilled Baby Back Ribs - it did disappoint me a bit because it lacked meat more on the boned side plus it was not falling of the bone I mean most of us if we are hear the word ribs that comes to mind right? This could be improved more I guess.

•Grilled Rosemary Chicken - delicious you can really taste the rosemary flavor in it.

•Country Fried Steak - flavor was okay meat was tender.

•Smoky Shrimp Creole - too much coating which makes us "umay" plus the shrimp itself went overcooked that made the shrimp a little rubbery, I believe its because of the coating that made it hard to penetrate the shrimp when its been fried.

•Pulled Pork Waffle-wich - not your usual waffle it comes with apple coleslaw which is very delectable!!

Dessert

•The Wookie - waffle plus cookie a very good combination topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Crunchy and chewy at the same time!

Drinks

•Peach Iced Tea, Sweet Pink Guava, Cucumber Cooler - all drinks were good but my favorite would be the Cucumber.

Been wanting to try this place out and finally, had the chance to visit with my co-foodies.

Since the servings were big and we didn't want to get full easily, we were served a portion enough for one for each of their famous and best selling dishes.

For appetizer, we had Chili Cheese Fries, all flavors of their Wings (Buffalo, Swings, Cheesy Jalapeño) and Johnny Crockets.

Out of everything, hands down for the Johnny Crockets! So so soooo good. The mashed potato was legit, not some chemical powder used like other restaurants I know. The cheese in the center was the highlight plus the mustard was really a good combo! The Chili Fries was also superb. On the other hand, the Wings, specifically the swings flavor was really good. Nothing special about the Buffalo and Cheesy Jalapeño tho.

Moving on to the main course, we had Tomahawk Chops which was the house special and indeed, a very very good one. Definitely would recommend this! Everything on the plate magnified each other's flavor which was so good.

Another recommendation I'd have is the Pulled Pork Waffle-wich. Waffle mixed with corn topped with greens and pulled pork was the bomb! Not to exaggerate but everything was really good like droooooool good. For starters, one wouldn't even take notice of this beast but really, you won't regret it, I swear!

The Baby Back Ribs, was a bit tough but nonetheless okay. The Grilled Rosemary Chicken was a bit dry (for me atleast) since I'm not a huge fan of the breast part of a chicken so, this might be a bit biased. The Country Fried Steak was also good, a bit chewy but the sauce did it's part. The Shrimp Creole could've been a wow 'cept that it had too much breading but in it's own way, it was really good.

As for the refreshments, we had Peach Iced Tea, Pink Guava and Cucumber Cooler. Everything was good, neither sweet nor bland but the Cucumber Cooler's a personal fave.

And last but not the least, for our dessert, we had The Wookie- a cookie batter waffle topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled in chocolate sauce which I thought was a very cool and creative concept! Another one I'd recommend to end your meal with a glimpse of heaven. Also a nice palate cleanser since it wasn't that sweet (and I'm not fan of chocolates to begin with) so, this was really a plus points for me.

I think they could and should improve on some of their dish specially the Baby Back Ribs but overall, it was a superb experience! Everything looks lovely and tastes yummy. The service was also great, attentive servers and very accommodating. Would definitely go back. Kudos to the management for generating a very wonderful and creative concept store! 👌

A seemingly small establishment for Chops and Wings along the stretch of East Capitol, in barangay Kapitolyo. The place is well lit and the furnishings is an ecclectic mix and match that is confusing. Wifi and sockets are available for your dearest gadgets. Food tends to get served late... but attendants like sir Rex is polite and made appropriate suggestions for first timers like me. Street parking is available and an attendant is there to assist. I ordered the Buffalo wings and the Tomahawk Chops which comes with rice, one siding, and coleslaw.

The Buffalo wings were spicy hot but still edible. I have issues with spicy food wherein you can't appreciate the taste anymore. Their wings were just right. The creamy dip that was paired with the wings buffered the heat of the spices.

The Tomahawk Chops was good. This dish had dirty rice (which was well spiced up). The coleslaw added a refreshing break from the spice and seasoning of the dish. The side dish that I picked was the garlic mushroom and it went well with the entire dish, providing an earthy flavor to the meal.

This is a good restaurant to go to when Chops are being craved for.

We actually planned driving to Silantro but decided to try Tomahawk for their wings all you can promo. We drove to East Kapitolyo on a Sunday night, and we arrived before 6PM so we were lucky that there are still tables and no lines. I've heard of stories of customers waiting in line and the place packed waiting for their turns just to avail of their unli wings.

Parking is quite a challenge here: we had to park in fromt of someone's front gate. If we had arrived late, I doubt if we can ever find a spot.

2 in my party availed the promo while I was hesistant to drown myself in wings, decided to get the grilled porkchop the house "raves" for.

Service was a bit slow, took around 15 minutes before we got our order.

I was not impressed with my order. The chop was thick and a tad dry for my taste. Good thing I opted for white rice only because the chop is drowing in its sauce.

As for the chicken wings: the Wings all you can Promo is sulit for those who love it. The wings are just regular home cooked ones that were breaded and coated. For wings I would still prefer Frankie's of NY and Don Henricos for the size and price.

If it wasn't for the promo I don't think I will order this here.

Good to have tried this once, but we shall move on now.

I also wanted to try their mashed potato. However, it wasn't available so I tried their Mac & Cheese instead. It was also good. Will recommend Tomahawk to my friends. :)

Whenever I passed by this place, I would tell myself to try it one of these days. Today is that day. Tomahawk, a Texan chops resto, is a relatively new addition to the string of restos in the popular foodie street in Kapitolyo. It seemed small from the outside, but kind of like the TARDIS, it’s bigger on the inside. (Any Doctor Who fans?) The place was not the only thing that was big. Their servings are HUGE, but you can’t expect anything less from an American-style establishment. Given their prices and the quality of food, the value for money is high.

Wings-All-You-Can!

The country style, dramatically-lit narrow entrance paves the multi level steaks n' wings restaurant. Planted across the Capitol Drive food hub is this emerging resto which serves a variety of western cuisine.

As the offer goes-Wings-All-You-Can (P375), they serve a platter, heap full of rice and buttered mushroom. These are just the usual Wings. I was looking for something extraordinary like how the batter was made or how the wings would have a different taste in the palate. It didn't taste rich since i felt no butter on the dressing, nor something garlic-ky. Just home fried wings tossed in hot sauce. The only saver was it was unlimited. Dang! I got three sets! Rice was all over, could have been better if they serve it with marbled or mashed potatoes. Blue Cheese Dip not the finest but fair enough to be creamy.

Tomahawk Grilled Chops (P325) with the same hefty rice serving (which we didnt like since we are not fond of rice) The steak which my friend had was cooked fine but the flavor wasn't even. Charred part tasted well but could have had tasted even better if it was well seasoned.

The interior is appropriate including the lighting. Servers were friendly and accommodating. The restroom is an awe. Since the second level caters to more clients, they should be attentive to bathroom sanitation.

Its a good typical western restaurant with lots to offer. Hope they focus more attention in making their dishes richer in flavor. This is a good try.

Che Mercadillo

So we tried the eat-all-you-can wings (375 pesos) and it is worth the pay.

The wings are moist and hot when served. I wish it was a little crispier. There are two flavors: sweet, and spicy.

The sweet somehow resembles to teriyaki sauce in taste.

The spicy one is perfect for me because I love spicy food but it is the type of spicy that you could still enjoy eating and taste the flavor, it also comes with a bleu cheese which is a little sour to balance the flavor.

The crew is fast and hospitable enough. The ambiance is also good.
I suggest that you make a reservation especially if you'll come at night time.

We will definitely come back to try the chops. :)

I thought there were a lot of people tonight so I made my reservation. Chili cheese fries for our appetizers. Grilled pork chop and an order of chicken and waffles. Really liked the pork chop very tasty and very chewy. Chicken meal was good too. It's like fried chicken with a twist and also the waffles. The place was full of Halloween decorations. Big place, many people can be accommodated. The staffs were approachable and kind. Thumbs up for their promo of pork chop 👍

I have heard so much about Tomahawk and how they have really delicious food. I finally got to visit them and the food definitely lived up to the hype. The place was smaller than I expected and I'd say we were really lucky that there was an available table right away when we got there. The place looked good even though it wasn't that spacious. We were thinking about trying their famous chops (whose prices need to be updated here, by the way - I remember them being 325 on the menu) but decided to order the baby back ribs instead. It came with two sides which we chose would be dirty rice (price also needs to be updated) plus we ordered a plate of carbonara. Waiting time was around 15 minutes, I think, which was okay, given that we had ordered ribs. And when the food came, it looked really pretty too. Haha. The ribs were served with coleslaw and fries. My boyfriend liked their coleslaw. He said the dressing was good. The fries were served plain, nothing special. Their dirty rice was good too, nice portions as well. And the ribs! It was very good indeed. Nice, soft meat. Easy to remove off the bones. Sweet sauce. It was really quite delicious. The carbonara wasn't all that bad either. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted since I was expecting their grilled dishes to be the stars of their menu. The pasta packed some nice flavors as well. You could definitely give that a try too. I'd certainly recommend eating here and would not hesitate to come back. Their staff was really polite and friendly plus their prices are so affordable. I'm giving them two thumbs up!

You don't need to suffer waiting in line just to try the overrated restaurants in Kapitolyo. It's actually good that you try out other options in the growing Kapitolyo food community. I'm very happy I came across this restaurant. It has more space inside, contrary to the narrow-looking restaurant from the outside.

I tried the Grilled Tomahawk Chops (P295) which was served with rice, mixed vegetables, one side dish of my choice (Mashed Potato). The chops tasted really well. I just wish I had the freedom to choose another side dish instead of rice. I was also able to taste the Grilled Baby Back Ribs (P425) which was just so-so compared to the first dish. We also tried the dessert (forgot what it's called) but it should've been a cookie dough with ice cream which just tasted like a wicked oreo. I'll definitely come back here for their Tomahawk Chops.

This trendy, American independent-chain oozes rustic-chic, with retrofitted Ball jar lights, dark-patterned walls and preserved art deco paintings hung from exposed brick at the Kapitolyo original; unsurprisingly, pork is heavily featured (grilled over mixed woods, in bacon-wraps and cheese), but the affordable catchall menu also includes chicken and waffles, pan-seared meat and fish, plus a daily dose from the chocolate selection.

The thick cut pork chop is redolent with the classic sweet n' salty glaze of hoisin and BBQ sauce. The interesting sauce mixture complemented the beautifully grilled chop perfectly. Pardon my shallow palate, the beautiful glaze sure got my taste buds excited. I will definitely come back for this again.

Tomahawk is a humble restaurant with a decent selection of American food. For me it did not disappoint although I can say it's not the best I have ever tasted. I love their tomahawk porkchop. It's bang for buck considering its size. Perfect with their international selection of beers.

Would recommend their chicken as well.

We drove to Kapitolyo (for the first time) for Silantro on a Thursday night but the waiting line was too long so we opted to eat someplace else. We ended up in Tomahawk and after our meal I couldn't be any happier that Silantro was full.

We ordered two of their best sellers: Grilled Tomahawk Chops and their Country Fried Chicken. You can add 25 pesos if you want your rice "dirty" aka if you want fried rice instead of plain, and you get 2 sides--mixed veggies (I didn't like this one. I wish they served buttered veggies instead) and you can pick the other one from a list (we got mac n cheese and garlic mushrooms). The fried chicken was good and packed with flavor, but it wasn't my favorite and falls short compared to their chops. The porkchop was excellent!!! The meat was perfectly done--very easy to cut and chew, moist, juicy, and tasty. It's beautiful. I wish we ordered two chops instead of ordering the chicken but we'll definitely do that next time!! And maybe try their hanger steak when it's already available. The servings are huge and we're glad we didn't order appetizers anymore because we were so full afterwards. Overall, great food, great service, and great ambiance. If Tomahawk isn't in your food bucketlist yet, I suggest you squeeze it in right now and head to Kapitolyo for some chops! 😍

We ordered fried chicken and buffalo wings that day. The dirty rice is good although it's competing with the flavors in the chicken. The chicken is a little salty but I liked it that way. The staff are also approacheable although the waiting time for food is a little longer but all in all the experience was great and we're hoping to go back soon to try their chops 😊

I forgot what it was called but it had potato and bacon and that was enough. It wasn't part of their original menu but it should be.

Aside from that, I had the Sausages and Sauerkraut while my Kuya got the Grilled Baby Back Ribs. We also got the Mac n Cheese sides because why not?

For a joint really small and not quite famous yet, I was surprised to find out that the food could actually rival a premium and famous steaks and grills restaurant.

Kapitolyo is a haven for hole-in-the-wall places but a hellish nightmare to find parking.
Good thing we got to this place at almost 10pm and a parking space was avsilable.
Their price is very reasonable. Interiors are sleek and clean.
The Grilled Tomahawk Chops was nicely cooked and juicy. This one-inch bone-in porkloin comes with vegies, a side dish and plain rice.
Next is the Country Fried Chicken, crunchy skin and juicy legs and thigh pieces. I got mine with cajun dirty rice which packed a lot of flavor and spice. I wasn't happy with my side of mac&cheese.
Anyway, mom liked the place... Mom points!!!
