Never thought I would like the food in this resto. When hubby and I finally tried it, we were surprised. We love the food here very good taste and the price is very affordable. Staff is also very nice
Hainanese Delights (Barbeque And Hainanese Chicken Rice) at the upper ground floor of Robinsons Metro East, Pasig City, offers some Singaporean dishes at affordable prices. We've been here before during their soft opening, a few years back and had their Hainanese Steamed Chicken. We found the dish to have an unpleasant after-taste that made us avoid eating there for sometime. Lately, we've seen some positive reviews of their food and decided to let that experience go and give this branch another chance to redeem itself. This time we ordered the Hainan Fried Chicken as suggested by David, the courteous and accommodating staff. The chicken (initially steamed), crisp skin on, with the special Hainanese sauce and the unlimited offering of Hainanese Rice have cleared all the prejudices we previously had. The dish was flavorful and satisfying.
The crew was polite and efficient as before. The place still looks bright and clean but some tables were already damaged and the sofa needs to be reupholstered.
If you are looking for a quick and affordable rice-all-you-can restaurant, Hainanese Delights is the place to go.
Thank God for Hainanese Delights. HD is my go-to place for a very satisfying meal on a non-cheat day. You cannot go wrong with the steamed quarter chicken with rice.
They offer unlimited rice though they offer it nowadays in a too tiny size of cup. Me and my best friend almost finished 6-8 cups haha (that's how little the serving is). Then they serve you with clear, hot soup which usually tastes delicious though sometimes lacking in flavor (it's free with the meal) All in all, the food is great and very affordable! :D

It can be very difficult to find a place to eat out when you're trying to cut back on the carbs and fats in your diet. I rarely have time to prepare my baon in the morning, and a soup/salad/sandwich (a.k.a. the skinny bitch meal trifecta) combo for lunch always makes me feel so kawawa during the latter half of the work day. Thank God for Hainanese Delights. HD is my go-to place for a very satisfying meal on a non-cheat day. You cannot go wrong with the steamed quarter chicken with rice. The broth is liquid gold, so be sure to ask the friendly waitstaff for an extra serving of the broth. It's free anyway. I prefer going to the Robinsons Metroeast branch because the ginger sauce it serves is better than the watered-down version of the Robinsons Galleria branch. Take it easy on the unli-rice though.
Recommending the best seller, white chicken. Really indulged myself with the ginger condiment and chilis! I bet this will be "patok" this rainy season. Btw, it's my boyfriend's first time to eat here so he ordered "unlimited rice". He finished six! Hahaha!
I’ve already read a lot of good and mostly bad reviews about their chicken but for me, I loved their chicken a lot! I ordered their steamed white chicken and the white meat was really soft.
For me, that’s the best thing for a chicken meat! Yay for Hainanese Delight’s chicken
Over all, I think it's an okay meal for me especially for their chicken :)
This place will give you the best experience for trying different cuisine. Price is just right. And they have unli rice. Menu is for all ages. Thumbs up!
