Great night out with family. Nice view of the marikina valley and was lucky enought to catch a fireworks display. As for the food, their japanese offering were quite good. Was not to keen about the sisig since it was a little bit burnt. Hopefully they could fix it the next time. The bulalo that we ordered also had a lot of beef in it. Fast response also from the staff.
The ambiance was really nice, the place was strategically built. You'll feel a cool breeze of air hitting your face. Our only problem was the food that we ordered took sooo long to come. It was a random company dinner so we came in a large number, around 20, so ordered three sets of food and we had to wait for a long time but it was worth it. The staff were accommodating and attentive to our needs.
This is our go to place if we want a chill ambiance while having our comfort food. What I love the most is 1st the environment specially at night, you get to chill at night with an overlooking view of the city without spending a dime going to Antipolo just to have an overlooking view of city. 2nd is their crispy sisig, one of the main reason I keep coming back to this place and their inihaw na isaw such a perfect combination. Other food in the menu is okay but would love to bring mg barkada here for a birthday celeb or just a chill sesh.
We went there about late in the evening. The place looks good and is overlooking the city. We ate under a tree so there were some bugs around (but we didn’t mind). The food was great but the service was a little slow.
This place is perfect for “inuman” sessions with family or friends, or even a date night with your special someone. Its overlooking Valle Verde so its quite nice at night where citylights and stars meet.
Their food is so-so. Ordered sizzling squid (a little bit spicy), sisig (i dont recommend this one), grilled fish, camaron rebosado, and of course a few bottles of beer.
The place is quite big, but you will not have a problem getting a waiter because theyre so attentive. You see a lot of them walking around.
Good Pinoy “inuman” place, with a view of Valle Verde. They have your usual Filipino “pulutan” staples like sisig, pork barbecue, crispy pig ears and spicy squid. Good value for what you get. You can also order Japanese food from the restaurant next door but I haven’t tried that. I think there are better choices for Japanese food.
Good place to hang out with friends especially in the evening. However, depending on the season, you could be molested by mosquitos. Bring repellent!
Kare kare - Good for sharing. Sakto lang ang lasa ng peanut sauce, hindi overpowering sa lasa ng buong dish.
Sinigang na Baboy - Asim kilig! 💕 ang sarap nitong sinigang, perfect sa windy/cold weather
Sisig - Ang tagal i-serve nito 😒 puro chicharon, kakaunti ang baboy

View was amazing! Meron palang ganitong place sa Metro. Good place for peeps who just want to hang out with a beautiful view.

The good thing with this place are the following:
1. VIEW it is magnificent, one might think you are in Antipolo but the truth is, You are in the business district.
2. FOOD a wide variety although their Japanese cuisine is not available the whole week, there are still a lot of options.
3. AMBIANCE Place has a quiet, homey atmosphere with attentive, friendly servers.
4. PRICE affordable and servings are just right.

We initially planned to eat at the 24-hr bulalohan place in Mandaluyong (R&J) but had to look for an alternative as there's no parking slot available. Dropped by Three Sisters in Kapitolyo, but it's still closed. At this point, tempers are flaring. Then my father, in a fit of brilliance inspired by his growing hunger, remembered having enjoyed dining at Nipa Hut w/ a good view to boot. So off we went.
Third time's a charm, indeed. We're there at 10am and the OPEN signage in the sprawling parking lot welcomed us. 😍
We were the first patrons and the oldies zoomed in on a table outside the restaurant, under a huge tree w/c provides just enough shade. It's windy when we were there, so it's a teeny bit of Tagaytay feels, but instead of Taal, we had a sweeping view of Valle Verde. 😂
We ordered the following:
- Kilawing Puso ng Saging: I remembered having this the first time we ate here. It was our favorite then, and it's still mine now.
- Papaitang Baka: My parents had a thing for anything papaitan. I guess it's the Ilocano in them. Nipa Hut's version is served in a mini kaldero and has the right mix of bitter, sour and spicy. Will order this again next time, if it weren't for the Papaitang Kambing that Pa belatedly discovered hidden below in the menu. It's not everyday that he gets to eat goat meat, so kambing definitely trumps baka.
- Crispy Sisig: Pig face/ear(?) + chicharon stayed super crispy even after it was liberally doused in mayo. This one is Ma's favorite, which says quite a lot since she's not really that fond of meat.
All 3 dishes + 6 cups of rice (yes, we're a family of 4 w/ construction worker appetite 😂) less senior citizen discount only cost P780. Score, right?! 😍
Nipa Hut has always been my favorite spot in the city whenever I want good food and great overlooking view. The way the lights slowly flicker in the city and the beauty of the skies are the things I want to share with my loved ones and friends. A quick escape and form of relaxation from the hustle and bustle of citylife.
This is my second time to visit this resto. The first time was with my friends and the second time was just me.
What I like about this place is that you have a good view of the city without going out of town. It's just located near ultra and Capitol commons.
I love their crispy sisig, it's really crispy.
Their price is very reasonable and budget friendly. Perfect place to chill and they have a big parking area.

First things first, I really did'nt know that there is a resto in Pasig that has a view like Nipa Hut's! The sight is overlooking the city which is really nice at night. We had crunchy sisig, kuhol and sinigang na bangus. Food was just ordinary but I think people go here for the sights and the food is just secondary
This restaurant is actually a combination of two, Nipa Hut that serves Filipino and Motoyori for Japanese. The location is a vast property and has an overlooking view of Pasig. It's one of the landmarks in the area, having been serving customers for years.
Together with one of its owners, I was able to enjoy a few items in their intensive menu. Price points are budget friendly and is catered family style. I enjoyed the classic Sotanghon with generous toppings of chicken and vegetables. It was just liked how I used to have it when I was young.
Their Kilawin was also traditional with the wild sour taste of vinegar very much present in the mix. I would have preferred a touch of coconut to create a certain balance.
More dishes to try and could do that since our restaurant is just across them.
Stellar view! Overlooking of the whole Pasig or whatever place I keep on staring at 😂 food is mediocre but the view makes it better. Cold beer, cold wind, a lot of mosquitos though 😢 you can ask for katol if you like.
This place made me wow because I can't believe that it is possible to see such city lights at night. It's so wonderful. It has a view of Pasig and the near cities. Waiters were accomodating. We ordered seafoods, soup, adobo rice and crepe. Everything was really delicious! I won't forget their crepe for dessert, it was so creamy but its mainly composed of Bear Brand. I'd love to go here again.
The place is really really nice especially at night. Great for family/barkada when you guys just want to have a chill night out. Food is good. Staffs are friendly too. But the main deal in this resto is really its place/ambience.
My friend told me about this place in pasig with over looking view, since I live in manila I didn't believe that such place exist. to my surprise it really does! the food was just so so and the prices are cheap. just the ambiance of having a place like this in the city is a plus. I recommend this for family dinners, or friends just simply hanging out to relax.
This place is perfect for team eat outs and romantic dinner for two. Went here twice already and I love the place. Service is very slow though so you must order as soon as you arrive. Food is not that tasty but not so bad as well. Anyway, I only come here to get drunk.

Regular sisig or extra crunchy? Order both! I mean that's what I'd do at Nipa Hut in Pasig. The best time to be here is at night. Enjoy your dinner with a spectacular view of the city lights under the blanket of twinkling stars.

You will enjoy their view during night time, it makes you feel that you're also having your dinner in Antipolo because of the overlooking. Food here are pocket friendly too.
Wasn't able to take a shot of the food they served but what's left in me was the superb view from this restaurant. Perfect for a romantic dinner date or a barkada chill night out.
We ordered papaitan, isaw,grilled plapla. Quite overpriced but it was worth it. We'll definitely come back to this place with other friends.

This place is one of my favorite! :) dahil sa view niya lalo na pag maabutan mo yung pagsalubong ng araw at buwan. Yes there are many people pero hindi ka ma-sstress sa ingay dahil sa open yung place. Not bad for food! Madami nako natikman na dishes nila and wala naman akong nireklamo. :)
If you want a nice view and overlooking place to dine, you must visit this place in Pasig. You don't have to go to antipolo if you want to unwind with friends or have dinner with your family, Nipa Hut is located in Oranbo Pasig, just beside Valle Verde Country club. The food is ok, nothing special on the menu. But the place is really relaxing.

Nipa Hut / Motoyori restaurant in Pasig is a place where you can get Filipino food (and Japanese food). Being at an elevated place, the winds are a tiny bit colder. The entrance and a part of the restaurant resembles a Nipa Hut which also serves as the no smoking area.
Outside, there is also a dining area for those who want more of the breeze and view while eating. The view offers a nearby look at the city (and houses) with a backdrop of the tall buildings along with a sight of some mountains. This place could have an awesome view at night when the buildings and houses are all lit up.
Here we ordered two Filipino food set meals that we got for a discounted price thanks to another online discount voucher.
Banana heart is not something I eat often. But I am glad that this Kilawin Puso ng Saging was good. “Kilawin” implied that it had vinegar. I was expecting something very sour but the dish is also pleasantly sweet. The brownish color hinted it had something along the lines of soy sauce, and the sweetness meant it also had some sort of sugar to balance the taste. There were also tiny bits of pork mixed in it.
Bulalo is a soup known to have a rich beef flavor along with rich beefy oils. It may also have marrow or tendons. This version’s meat was tender and the soup had a beef taste.
This crispy pata has the crispy skin lined with fat, and the tender pork.
Here we have Chicharon bulaklak. It is a variation of chicharon made from the fat along the pig’s intestine.
For seafood, we had sizzling bangus (milk fish), topped with mixed vegetables. The fish was seasoned and buttered.
Also included in the two set meals are Pork BBQ and Lumpia.
We visited this place earlier and tried a different set meal, also using a discount voucher. Here are the dishes we had.
I liked the kare-kare with their generous amount of the pumpkin and peanut mixture. It is like pumpkin soup but better because of the peanut taste, pork, and vegetables in it.
We also had inihaw na pla-pla with atchara, tomatoes and chopped green mango on the side, and sisig for something grilled and sizzled.

Set 1: Kare Kare, Inihaw na Pla Pla, Crispy Sisig (previous visit)
Set 2: Bulalo Soup, Sizzling Boneless Bangus, 3pcs BBQ, Chicharon Bulaklak

My personal favorites are the Kilawin Puso ng Saging, Kare-kare and Bulalo.
Overall, the meat in their food was tender, the ingredients they used tasted fresh and the food was not overpoweringly seasoned. The breezy view is a plus too.
This is a place I took one of our foreign clients to have dinner and a couple of beers. He truly did not expect how good the view it is when we got to the back open foyer. The city lights of the east side of the metro was great. The menu was not unique from other restobar. The usual sisig is good. Prices are reasonable. The thing that makes me come back here is the ambiance.
I love the the scenic view bec it is an open space... the place is so relaxing with soft music at the background. the food is also good and the price is reasonable.
if you are looking for an "inuman" place with an overlooking view (in metro manila) plus really good food - this is the place! Their best offers are the crispy pata, their sisig and their kare kare! Love the open air - al fresco feel. Parking is not usually a problem just come early. Place is clean, and the staff is really nice.
The food here is reasonably priced without sacrificing quality. I love their sisig, crispy pata, bulalo, barbecue and shrimps. We usually go there at night to enjoy the scenery brought by the city lights. I have several photos but can't upload them because they were all blurred. It was dark and there was no sufficient lighting when I took the photos.
