Fast service, super delish food! I was not able to capture our shawarma platter 'cause we're very hungry haha! My go-to place every time I crave for Middle Eastern cuisine ❤
Service is friendly and wait staff are fairly attentive.
Winners of the night:
Moussaka melt - like a middle Eastern lasagna, so rich and savory, highly addicting. Perfect on its own or with some pita triangles.
Kofta balls - rich, delicious layers of complex flavours and a good hint of spice. Perfect for sharing. Mash the kofta balls, scoop up a spoonful into some pita and enjoy the flavor ride!
Beer at Zero degrees - almost every local beer available (including Super Dry) at zero degrees, no need for a glass of ice
The Keema Nachos were okay, but far from the best.
The Mannakesh chicken was a cheesy snack very similar to quesadillas. They were alright.
All in all a good place to hang out with friends, especially if you can't get a seat at the wings place next door. ;)
My go-to midnight snack and my favorite kebab place. I always order their beef kebab (3 pcs) with rice. I also do recommend their hummus. You'd definitely go crazy with their sauces as well.
Ugh! Look at their kofta balls oozing with so much cheese. We always order this with pita bread. I also love their moussaka melt paired with their signature garlic sauce. So creamy and yummy! ❤️
⭕️Kebab platter was delicious
⭕️Worth its price
⭕️Airconditioned
❌Moussaka was too cheesy but it was okay
❌Pay restroom outside
❌Food was served kind of late
I used to get their beef kebab with rice, which I really like. Yet, I discovered just recently that they have the best all-beef shawarma in town. The meat cuts are like the cuts in "lechon baka." The meat was seasoned perfectly with the spices bringing out the intensely beefy flavor of the meat. While the meat is around 80-20, with the latter being the amount of fat, it isn't as guilt-tripping as Turks as it is still generally less oily. The shawarma comes with white sauce and spicy sauce which are both delicious. It would help if they would also offer additional cheese. The pita bread is a bit small, but it is super-filled with a lot of tasty and delicious beef.
On sneaky Friday nights when you just keep going back to your old bad habits that just won’t die, you can resort and hide at City Golf. Since most nightlife luminaries who frequent Ortigas often goes to Metrowalk or Ortigas Home Depot, there is less possibility of bumping into a familiar face here, which just makes sense if you want a breath of fresh air, if only just for the night.
Along with a few bottles of beer, we ordered the following:
Keema with Pita bread - My ultimate favorite from Mister Kabab. Keema is ground beef sauteed in onions, and sometimes drizzled with curry. In Uncle Moe’s, there is no trace of curry taste. It was purely sauteed ground beef that is best with yogurt sauce (or perhaps, the yogurt sauce is necessary). Good cooking, but I still like my old favorite.
Moussaka Melt with Pita bread - This dish sounded new to us. But with its inviting description, we decided to order one. The look and feel was ala-Lasagna. The Moussaka Melt is ground beef and eggplant in tomato sauce baked with bechamel and cheese on top. It’s heavenly, but sickening towards the middle. Pita bread is a MUST.
Kofta Balls with Pita bread - Another peculiar dish to try is Kofta Balls which is still ground beef kebab stuffed with cheese in tomato sauce. There’s nothing to “dislike” in this dish, it’s always a WIN — the beef kebab, the cheese, and the tomato sauce.
And although the dishes may each be partnered with Pita bread, each one also perfectly fits with beer!
My go-to Uncle Moe's is in Maginhawa. It's my Middle Eastern comfort food. The meat itself is flavorful and gives you a happy vibe. The yogurt sauce gives it an extra happy vibe.
Although City Golf is out of the way for me, I happily stopped over for lunch here during a round of errands that brought me around area. I expected the usual Uncle Moe's that I've been familiar with. However, the City Golf branch was a nice surprise.
The beef in the Shawarma rice was very chunky and it was a generous serving. The Kofta balls were swimming in a nice sauce, and if you really like the sauce, you can have it with your pita bread or rice. I'm usually the type of person who likes my sauce on the side because the sauce usually overwhelms the taste of the main ingredient, but I didn't mind it at all with the Kofta balls. The flavor of the sauce didn't overwhelm the meatballs. It had the right balance of sweetness and zest from the tomato. The cheese in the center of the meatball nicely neutralizes the meatiness of the meat with the tomato sauce.
The ox brain is the usual goodness, like that of the yellow part of the balut, that melts in your mouth.
The place is located near C5, but on a lazy afternoon you can sit on the balcony and it's a perfect setting for sitting and watching the day pass by.

Via the delivery app, Honestbee, Mia and I had quite a satisfying dinner last night. Portions were impressive vis a vis the price. For the 5 items we ordered, we just paid Php 705.
Ox Brain was really good, especially when dipped in pure calamansi. It had nice mushy texture, its taste uniquely delicious.
The Kebabs, Chicken and Beef, were both moist but could use more seasoning. Its sauces, garlic and hot sauce were good.
The Chicken Shawarma, on the other hand, failed our expectations. We thought they would do it so well given that their establishment is the authentic Mediterranean. It was so dry and bland.
Hummus, our favorite was gone too fast. Uncle Moe’s did a superb job putting this one together. My only complaint was its portions, I think they should give more.
Service is really fast. Consistent quality and this is my favorite branch. My favorite combination of order is all beef shawarma rice and kofta balls and i cant finish it on my own.
Uncle Moe's has dethroned Mister Kebab as my go-to place for kebabs. Generous servings, fast prep time, and of course DELICIOUS food. Personal faves are the chicken kebab and the eggplant moussaka.
UNCLE MOE’S IS THE BEST NO DOUBT. Kofta balls, ox brain, kebab platter forever. They have the best sauces too. I started eating at moe’s since i was 12. I’m 21 now and they’re still the best for me 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Great place to have an ice cold beer and shawarma for cheap. Keema, manakeesh and kabab are alternatives if you’ve had too much shawarma!
While you can’t sit at their al fresco area and have Frankie’s, you may be able to sit at Frankies and still get some shawarma from Moe’s!

Kofta Balls- this is the only thing I get from Uncle Moes aside from their buttered rice (w/ extra butter). At Php 210 this is definitely worth every peso! I love the tomato sauce which I can't really describe since nothing really taste like it! You dont really taste the cheese inside since the tomato is so rich already but then thats what the garlic sauce is for! My boyfriend and I always share 1 order and we have this unspoken agreement that he gets 2 and I get 3 hehe and we are super satisfied after!

Uncle Moe's used to deliver which made it super convenient for when I would crave randomly but now they don't and idk why...
Ambiance: N/A
Uncle Moe's isn't really the place you go to when youre looking for a restaurant w and ambiance so I decided not to rate it on this.
Value for Money: (5)
My boyfriend and I only spend 300 pesos for the both of us when we go here and we are stuffed silly right after! Great bang for your buck!
really go back to have keema and kofta balls - super yummy!
i hope they make better yogurt shake bcos i cant really taste the yogurt and their explanation was they are just using 1 nestle yogurt per order -_-
wish you have more big scoop ice cream flavor choices!
Nice food, reasonable prices the only downside is we could still smell cigarette smoke inside when people are smoking outside of the place. Kofta balls is a must try! never tasted one with cheese inside from other restaurants.
Went on a Friday night and it was really busy, but the waiters were all efficient and friendly! The food was amazing (I got the Kebab Platter).
The Kebab Platter is served with buttered rice, two chicken kebabs, two pieces of beef, and I believe a salsa. To add to the already delicious food, their white sauce made the meal that more tasty. It was also at a relatively good price (PHP 188).
I also got the Strawberry Banana yoghurt drink which tasted bland. I couldn't really taste the strawberry or yoghurt, mostly banana.
Definitely recommend for you and your friends to hang out.
One of the few places open until after 12 midnight. Got my keema fix, ordered one with rice & butter (135Php) and a bottle of san mig. Yum! Happy tummy!
Always satisfies my craving for shawarma! You must try their beef shawarma wrap orrice bowl, keema, kebab platter, kofta balls, and ox brain! The prices are very reasonable. It’s best to pair your shawarma bowl with ox brain for sharing or order their kebab platter with pita and kofta balls for sharing. Their hummus and moutabel is nice too as an appetizer!
Their city golf branch has great parking if you arrive before peak hours.
This a where we normally go to after office. One of a few places to eat kebabs, ox brain and cheap below zero beers. Kofta Balls is a must try! I love the way they mix the beef cheese and tomato based sauce.
The best shawarma place so far. It's a hole in the wall type of fastfood. Place is small with limited seat but food and price is awesome!!!! I ordered beef manakeesh and the special beef shawarma. I love how they have combined cream cheese with shawarma. I totally forgot about my diet.
Food and liquor crawl with yhe wigey at city golf. Decided to try the popular uncle moe's. Place waa not well kept but it was pretty full. We tried the special beef shawarma and it was pretty good! A bit oily with some fat but it is probably the secret. Service was a tad weak but the place is no fine dining so you cannot really expect much.
Great persian place! Love the Koftaballs and the shawarma. Also a pretty great place to drink considering your in City Golf, pretty good service too.
We ordered:
Beef Kebab with Rice = 155
*this meal comes with three thin and small
pieces of kebab, butter rice and tomato
salsa. Kebab itself is very thin and small,
nothing special with the taste but their
kebab sauce is undeniably delicious.
Because the kebab is dry I ended up
putting a lot of sauce, aside from the fact
that I love spicy sauces lol.
Moussaka = 157
*this is more of a lasagna in Mediterranean
style, it is a baked ground beef with
eggplant, tomato sauce, bechamel and
cheese on top. this became my instant
favorite because of the balance taste of
the beef, sauce and cheese and nothing is
overpowering on this dish. They serve it with
pita so better spread it over the pita and roll
it like a spring roll or which ever way your
mouth desires.
Their serving is quite small for a hungry stomach. Plate is small, kebab is small, rice is in minimum portion and even their glasses are small. For me, each meal is consider in snack
size because of it small serving but the good thing about that is, it wont full you that much, which will make you lazy to head out your way from the restaurant.
The place is okay, nothing fancy at all but spacious enough for big groups since they have some BPO neighbors that may flock here during their lunch breaks.
Food - 4.5/5
Service - 4/5
Value for money - 4/5
Kofta balls = Yum yum :) ground beef stuffed with melted cheese :)
Special beef shawarma = beef shawarma with a twist. Caramelized onions and SMOKEY CREAM CHEESE :) the shawarma itself was kinda small compared to other shawarma joints but the taste was on point :)
Beef kabab = good but Mr. Kabab tasted better.
great place to have a quick bite or have a couple of beers with friends along with great food :) kofta balls and keema nachos are the bomb as palutan :)
Serving time was quick and the Beef Kebab I tried was amazing. The ambiance was good, nice place to hang out and chill, however, their AC was dripping water.
For those uninitiated, Persian cuisine shares similarities and influences with flavours of the Middle East, Turkey and India. Open a menu and you'll likely discover a long list of kababs (mainly chicken, lamb and beef), along with rice sets, puff pastries and shawarmas - a sandwich-like wrap garnished with greens, onions and heaped over tender chunks of your-choice-of-meat.
My usual order at Uncle Moe's consist of a Chicken Shawarma & the Kabob Platter - huge platter of mixed meat and rice on bottom, they actually added my favorite chopped tomatoes & onions, all grilled together with plenty of white sauce. Again the price might seem higher for shawarma and rice combos but that one order lasted me at least 2-3 meals since the portion was so generous. They again threw in some extra hot sauces on my takeouts, even without me asking for it. Quite generous indeed.
With only a few tables (I'm guessing 10) this is a very popular place but the service and the patrons couldn't have been more friendly or welcoming. I always pair my meal with a local beer and felt happy, satiated, at peace with myself, my neighbors and the world around me.
Moussaka melt and kofta balls are the best dis he I've ever tried here! Beef kebab and ox brain are also great but nothing beats the moussaka!❤️

I was craving for kebab and tried to order online via 2121212. (It was my first time to try ordering from them) I started ordering at exactly 6 pm because I know that the delivery will take approximately an hour. Unfortunately, the first 2 kebab houses (Alfarsi and Kazam) were not responding. It was already 8 pm and still no dinner to eat. I was getting really impatient so I tried ordering through zomato. Since originally I wanted to try Uncle Moe's Shawarma Hub, I tried to see if it's possible to be delivered in Marikina. I told myself that if it's not possible, I will just go to kebab brothers. Finally, the restaurant responded, but we have to wait until around 10 pm for our food to be delivered. Wow! Just wow! But since I am really craving, I gave in and just wish that the food will really satisfy my kebab cravings. Surprisingly, the food arrived at 9:30!
We ordered Kebab Platter, Beef Shawarma Rice, and Moussaka Melt. We immediately dig in and all I can hear from my partner were good comments. I really savored every bite of my kebab that I forgot about my bad experience ordering online. I even forgot to take pictures.
Their sauce really blended well with their kebab. I just hope next time they would use basmati rice. The shawarma rice was good too but, it would be better if they will season the beef more, and more vegetables. Good thing their white and red sauce saved the day. For the moussaka, it was well seasoned and the serving was just right. The price was indeed worth every food we ordered. With this, I would love to dine in one of their branches and try other menus they offer.
I like this place for late night hang outs. Beef/Chicken Shawarma rice paired with a glass of beer. The space of the place is okay. The price is very affordable and the food is served fast.
I haven't eaten in Uncle Moe's for a very long time! I used to order their shawarma all the time. Since I didn't feel like shawarma, I got their Beed Kebab!
I was surprised with how reasonably priced it was! Php 140 for 3 pieces beef kebab with pita? I was sold!
The food was good and very enjoyable! I do wish the kebabs were a little thicker though. I wrapped the kebab inside the pita, put garlic sauce and the spicy sauce, and added the tomatoes. It was a treat! I even wondered why it took me so long to discover this.
Service tends to be a bit slow since it can be a little challenging getting their attention. Once you order though or ask for something, they deliver quickly.
I always get the kebab platter. Good food at affordable prices. I've tried the ox brain too but didn't enjoy it. However, a few friends recommend it. I guess it's really just not for me.
This is a nice place for cheap but tasty shawarma, kebab, and moussaka. We had beef kebab and special beef shawarma which were good. I love the moussaka the most. It was very creamy and the serving size was good enough not get 'umay'.
The place also offers affordable beer and it is open till 2 am on weekdays (fri and sat) and 5 am (sun until thursday). It can be a good spot after a night out.
The place is okay good for quick family eat out and beer night with friends. I ordered beef and chicken kebab its good and tasty. Moussaka is the best!!!! Heaven for me! Love it so much... 😍 the avocado and strawberry big scoop ice cream are the best for me! Will definitely go back here for more!!! What i didn't like here is you have to pay P10 for the comfort room and P50 for the parking! Seriously?!!!! overpriced!

This is my cheap alternative to Greeka Kouzina and Cyma. I find the service in this branch fast and courteous. The food is not really to die for but it serves the purpose. It's a quick and cheap lunching area for me. The Kofta balls and All My Tea are my favorites.
Prepare to pay 40.00 for parking. If you ask me, this City golf is charging too much for their parking fees.
Really disappointed that there's too many mosquitoes on the AL fresco dining. I hope they address that.
Overall, if you're looking for a quick and cheap meal in the Ortigas area, this is the place to go to!

My team mates and I were craving shawarma the other day and decided to order from Uncle Moe's using the twoanyone service. Our food came still hot and fresh. Twoanyone is a great delivery service.
Uncle Moe's just serves the best kebab. Honestly, I hate kebab and the like, but the only place where I looooove eating kebab is Uncle Moe's and their ohh sooo good buttered rice is just the prefect partner for the kebab and the sauces and the tomatoes. Thank you Uncle Moe's for giving me a chance to like kebab

The kebab platter and kofta balls washed down with a bucket or three of cold beer is our staple whenever we go here or whatever branch of Uncle Moe's. Grew up eating Ox Brains so i'd order that almost everytime also. Good food & Cold Beer. Saan ka pa?
Amazing everything! Must try their koftables! My absolute go to food when I'm wasted or alone on a lonely night. The only problem is their service is very slow!
Kofta Balls, simply the best thing I've had here. My colleagues and I would drive here every now and then just for the Kofta Balls. Especially after work or after a night out.
I just wish that the place is cleaner. I never had any issues with the food, but given the condition of the place, I suggest the staff deal with the pest issues for the outdoor part of the restaurant. It's not quite appetizing to see roaches during dinner.
The service can be a bit faster but aside from that it is good. Everyone is friendly, but I guess they're quite understaffed (most of the time).
Plus points for being open until morning! Bes
My village is near city golf uncle moe's so whenever my boyfriend and i got hungry the middle of the night we usually go here. Since this branch closes at 5:30am. And we always order beef shawarma with rice which is one the best sellers then we pair it with san mig apple. Perfect for a mid night snack! Chill place 😀
The right place for good kebabs and moussaka. And it's open till the wee hours too!
We had our fix at 2am last night by taking out beef kebab, chicken kebab and moussaka. Each came with one pita and the garlic and spicy sauce container.
Chicken kebab was just ok, beef kebab was very good. The moussaka was excellent. The bechamel sauce and cheese on top made this dish taste divine. My gulay hating friend says she loves eggplant now, albeit this is not the healthiest way to eat eggplant!
And all of the above for PhP 452!!
Great place for your quick shawarma fix and to down a couple of bottles with friends. Reasonably priced, Good quality food. I highly suggest their ox brain and moussaka melt. Whatever you want to get from them, shawarma or keema or kebab, be sure to get their ox brain.

I live shawarma! Partner it with rice or pita, I'll murder it! ? I have to say that this is one of the best shwarma stops I've ever been to. Affordable meals and pretty solid on their service.
i super love their beef shawarma.. try their moussaka melt as well. its cheese overload.. you may want to go here when u want a beer fix with craving for shawarma and kebabs!
Value for money with wonderful taste of kebabs though minimal in quantity. Ok with shawarma and rice! Try their Moussaka Melt for a taste of Persian Heaven. They also have fish kebabs which you can order if you are health-conscious.
I will never get tired of their Moussaka Melt!!! It doesn't give me that "suya" factor that's why I can enjoy and finish my dish, unlike in other Persian restos. :)
I loved loved loved the beef shawarma. They serve a different kind of meat/beef or there's just something in it that makes it so authentic. They also serve all beef shawarma which excludes veggies from the ingredients. The place has wifi so thats a plus. They also have ice cream for only 25 pesos so yey, after eating all that food. Must try their entrees next and their best seller shawarma rice. Just make sure to order additional garlic sauce.
Uncle Moes has the be shawarma i've tasted. It's not too oily, the shawarma sauce compliments very well with the taste of the shawarma itself. You can choose between shawarma or shawarma rice which are both good and a serving enough to satisfy your shawarma fix. The after taste could last a while though.
One of the favorite places that I keep going back to. I got hooked on their Kofta Balls so bad that I have been going back to the place since 2008 and been ordering this in my every visit. This place has been my benchmark in determining wether a kebab restaurant is good or not.
