I love Barcino’s very helpful to drunk people! They will take care of you from start to finish hehe! And if you accidentally leave some of your items they will secure it for you.
Same great Barcino food and wine but the place itself is a bit small and cramped. BUT I think the cozy atmosphere here makes it a great date place. There are longer tables outside but bigger groups might need to visit a bigger branch.
Food is good, as always. The restaurant was also nice to deduct the similar-priced items as the free Zomato Gold dishes (instead of automatically the lowest-priced orders).
I like the ambience of this branch since it’s quaint and intimate. Not too many people around City Golf too, so parking is not a hassle. This is a perfect venue for a date or for catching up with friends over good food and wine.
Even though we already had dinner downstairs, we still could not resist and ended up ordering everyone’s favorite- the Paella Negra as well as a bowl of Chopitos Fritos and a pitcher of sangria.
Good thing it was quite chilly when we went there since we were seated outside. Always love the ambiance at any Barcino branch, especially the one at City Golf.
I really enjoyed this Branch. We went out to lunch with my business partners and you can really enjoy each other's company. The waiters are very friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely go back in this branch in the near future.
Best place to be if you're looking for a chill wine night. They also serve a variety of drinks. Great ambiance and good Spanish food!
(I love their garlic toppings 😅)

This place has been here for the longest time. The surrounding area has already changed but this place continues to serve great Spanish food, which my family and I have loved and will continue to love. Order the paellas—the mixta and the negra are very good—as well their stews and casseroles. And of course, have their red and white sangrias.
Love their wine selection.
Although a bit pricey now compared from the first time they opened sometime about a decade ago, they have remained to be the perfect wine spot. The cozy area, the ambiance and the food selection that is a little more extensive.
Our to go to place!

Last week, Tim and I had a pretty amazing date at Barcino in City Golf Plaza. I went to their branch in Burgos Circle a few months ago with some girl friends and really enjoyed my experience there, so I thought it would be a good place to spend a quiet post-Valentines date with my SO as well. Thanks to Zomato, we didn't have to go all the way to BGC. Prior to this, I thought all their branches were in the south - I mean, I've been to City Golf a couple of times already, but I don't recall ever seeing the restaurant there. Turns out, it is tucked away on the second floor, giving it a more exclusive and romantic feel.
My friend had one of those days you just want to drink wine and vent. Since, I'm always game for any hangout session. I accompanied her and ordered a few bottles.
It's been years since I last went here and they renovated the place a bit. She ordered Chorizo & Cheese Platter (Php1690) and some slices of meat (which I can't remember what it's called.) For wine, we ordered the cheapest on the menu knowing we'll order 2 bottles.
They offer one free toilet use, cause normally you need to pay Php10 to use the toilet. This part here has always been a ripoff.
My S.O. and I find anything with squid ink hard to resist! There are only 2 Spanish restos we go to for the best Paella Negra in town, and until now, we haven’t really decided which one is better! One of them is Barcino. Their version of Paella Negra is cooked al dente with each savory grain coated in rich squid ink. Drizzled generously with aioli, this dish was simply mwah!
Went here for after-dinner drinks with friends on a Friday night. Must say I really love the ambiance of Barcino, I really like the vibe. We opted to go alfresco since I have a couple of friends that smoke. We had Estrella Galicias and a round of sangria paired with Calamares a la Romana. The sangria's great, will definitely come back for it. Area of improvement: customer service.
Good wine selection and excellent Spanish tapas. Their paella negra is cooked nicely and not overpowering. The baby squid in olive oil is also very delicious. Also love the chorizo platter that comes with cheese. Their wines pair nicely with the food choices they have. Definitely a great place to hang out for wine lovers.
Craving for Spanish food? Barcino specializes in it! Their food is pretty good too!
This place is also a nice chill place to hang out with friends and have a glass... or bottles... of wine. 😊
We ordered churros and I didn't like it very much because it was covered in sugar. The churros themselves weren't very good and were a bit hard. The chocolate was bland too.
All the other dishes we ordered were good! 😁 We got some chorizzo dish and a cold cuts platter. 😊
I really like that every bottle they open, they let you taste it. If it's a bad bottle, they will gladly replace it for you. Of course, of the same exact one, just a new bottle. 😊
they have a vast selection of wines but we opted for spanish beer. the beer is really good and worth it, better have it during happy hour. Paella is superb, a must try.
Went here on a Monday evening - my first visit to this Barcino branch. Since we'd just finished a jog, we decided to eat healthy and not drink alcohol!
The resto was surprisingly quite full for a Monday evening with 2 large groups.
First off we got the complimentary toasted bread with olive oil and tomato salsa. Tastes quite good if you put the olive oil on the toast then a little salt and then a dollop of salsa. Yummy!
We ordered the Pollo al ajillo -a lovely and flavorful dish of chicken chunks and potatoes in a garlic sauce. Finger-licking good and I mopped up the gravy with my toast!
We then had the Canelones - which is a baked pasta dish with beef and chichen in a very creamy sauce. Tasted good too.
For drinks we just had the lemonade and a bottle of Cabreiroa sparkling water.
Light and satisfying meal.
I love the place. It's so cozy and quiet. Perfect place to hang out with friends and sip wine.
They have a lot of wines to chose from, and though I didn't drink any alcoholic beverages, I can say my friends really enjoyed it. The girls ordered cocktails and the guys ordered different wines and beers.
For food, we ordered Arroz a la Cubana, Chicken Fingers and calamares a la romana. The serving for the Arroz a la cubana was so huge! and it tasted really good. for the chicken fingers, it was okay tender inside and crispy outside. Those two were part of the Kid's menu, and it includes iced tea, but the staff didn't served our iced tea, we asked for it but still they didn't served it. We ordered the Calamares, but the staff forgot to prepare it. So when we followed-up, that was just when they started preparing it. it was a late Sunday night and there weren't many people at that time. Service is a bit poor.
We went here before 6pm and had 20% discount for all wines. We had white wines, specifically Valformossa Claudia and La vinia Semisweet. Wines are affordable and It has a complimentary bread. If you want a cozy and not crowded wine bar, try Barcino.
I love Spanish cuisine as they have a very distinct taste in their food. Though it's quite pricey but it's all worth. The place was cozy and calm. It has a classy style and elegance. The servers were friendly and accomodating.
Before there was a wine place outburst in Manila, Barcino was FIRST. Try their Torta and their Marinara pasta (very strong tomato taste, borderline sourness of Puttanesca), their tapas with fruits and of course they have cheap wines you can try. Their wine list changed alot though, they no longer have the Portuguese wine I used to drink. But the place is always a little like Tuscany indoors, yellow lights with barrel-inspired tables.
A cozy place to unwind. Their Sangria is good and worth the price. Order that with their cheese platter and you're on your way to a truly relaxing night.
The staff are knowledgeable and very pleasant too. :)
I love all their food! I especially love their pulpo a la gallega, the olives & anchovies, the cheese platters, the spaniah sardines, the paella negra & their wine selection!
great food!!! and affordable also. I love gambas con bacon (shrimp wrapped in bacon w/ garlic mayo) and PAELLA NEGRA!!!!!
