With Indian design & decor & furniture and also some ethnic desi wood work, OIK gives the vibe of a very homey feeling which is kind of welcoming to Indians visiting Manila.
They serve both veg and nonveg varieties and it seems they fly down all the ingredients and essential spices directly from India to their kitchen in Manila which sounds interesting :-)
The food is not bad. They have some good curries, gravies, daal, and some fast food items also like samosa, mirchi pakoda and the works which makes you not miss home much!
Apparently they also have home delivery and take away service so more or less they look pretty sorted out on that front. Their thali is interesting which also inludes samosa so it looks kind of fusion lunch thali. Price wise they are not high and mid range. Lunch or dinner for two will cost approx 1000 rupees INR equivalent in the local currency which is Peso. Overall verdict - Definitely not bad!!

Great place and good food. Just need to improve the service.
Personal favorites : vegetarian samosa, vegetarian kofta, pakoras , mango lassi drink
A perfect resort for everybody with a penchant for authentic Indian food with real spices & absolutely apt Indian taste. Being vegetarian in Manila was worrisome for me, until I found out Om, after which almost every day for the next 2 months, one meal from Om was guaranteed. Be it Dining or Delivery , these people really know how to pull off authentic Indian flavour ,making the name of 'India' proud even overseas. The owner is a connoisseur in food and has well-trained the staff, be it cooking, service or behaviour. My rating is 5/5.
I have been staying in the Philippines for almost 6 years now, constantly on the look out for joints that serve Indian/South-Asian food. There are Indian restaurants in Metro Manila, and then, there is Om Indian Kitchen. I first came across Om, when it used to be located at Connecticut St. and was Cafe Om. In its new avatar, it's called Om Indian Kitchen and is based in the Grove by Rockwell. The food is still great : delicious, authentic and light on your tummy. My personal favorites are: the samosas, the mutton roganjosh and the kulfi. The owner, Mrs. Suman Gogna is a delightful hostess who pays special attention to you while you eat. I have been here many times, and will continue visiting.
I have visited the place only once but have ordered food a couple times from here. I have tasted the Veg Samosa, Fish Amritsari, Cumin Rice, Naan, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg Kofta, and the South Indian breakfast items very recently added to the menu idly and masala dosa.
Here are my quick ratings -
5/5 for Food - The food is really amazing and is really how the Indian food tastes. Of all that I have had my favourite pick is the Samosa, Fish Amritsari, and the Idly and Masala Dosa. The stuffing of the Samosa is made of potatoes and peas, and is really spicy, and is served with sweet and sour tamarind chutney. The place serves the best samosa that I have tasted so far in the Indian restaurants in Metro Manila. The Fish Amritsari is crisp from outside and really soft and tender from inside. The Idly platter contains 3 idlies served with chutney and sambar. The Dosa platter contains one dosa with chutney and sambar. The South Indian platter tastes so much like home, especially the chutney that's made of chana dal and coriander leaves. The chutney is really yum, but is served in a very small quantity.
5/5 for Ambience - The place is small but will give you the feel of India, as soon as you enter. It is beautifully decorated with lamps, wall hangings and paintings of Indian gods and what the word 'om' means, display of Indian craft ware and utensils, temple. The tables have minakari on them.
5/5 for Price - The items are well priced.
3/ 5 for Service - The service is a bit slow, and the food is brought in a random order, example first the main course and then the starters. The places also sells packed pickles and spices.
Will I visit again? - Yes, absolutely! :)

OM nom nom!!!! Servings (and place) may be a bit small (I personally don’t consider them good for sharing hahaha) but their dishes pack a punch! Faves: veggie samosas (!!!), butter chicken, palak paneer, cumin rice, and fish fingers (surprise!). The only Indian restaurant I visit for my cravings.
Great tasting Indian food, nice décor, and friendly service made for a nice experience.
It's great to know that there's a good Indian restaurant that's not located south of the metro. While the menu isn't helpful at all at helping you pick your orders (no description on the dishes), the servers were accommodating and eager to explain the dishes to us.
Each dish tasted very differently, was very flavorful, and sauces weren't overly powerful or salty at all. If found the kabab to be a bit too salty, though. Naan was okay, but could be better. It probably wasn't freshly made. Chai was okay, but a bit too thin for my liking. They use powdered (instant) chai, just so you know. Lassi (yogurt) was good. Serving size was a bit on the small side so it felt a bit expensive eating here.
The place is small and had only a few tables. The theme/décor is charming and felt like a product of someone's hard work. The place seemed a bit old, though, in that furniture showed lots of wear and just doesn't feel so clean. There were a couple of mosquitoes flying around during dinner which was irritating.
I quite enjoyed this place. It's small, cozy, and inviting. The food was very good! Must-orders are the veggie samosas, butter chicken, chicken biryani, and shahi paneer. The Indian spices really hit you -- it's insane! The aloo gobi and the pork keema were on the saltier side, and we will probably not be ordering those again. Remarkably, their deep fried fish sticks were awesome: the batter was seasoned perfectly and the fish was cooked just right. Though the serving size is a on the smaller side, the quality is undoubtedly there! I must also add that the staff was very attentive and professional (a big plus for me!). Definitely come-back-able!
It is very hard to find a good indian restaurant in the metro, that is why I am glad to find this place. I had buttered chicken and bashmati rice. The level of spiciness can be adjusted according to your liking. I had mine adjusted to "indian spicy" because i don't want the food to be bland.
went here with my friends. ordered a looooot. we ordered almost everything on the menu. food was cooked to order, we were all happy with the overall experience. Mutton Rogan Josh and Chicken Biryani was the crowd favorite. the owner was there and was very friendly. will definitely come back :)
While there are many different kinds of curry on Om’s menu, you’d be pleased to find that every last one of them has a distinct flavor profile. The Butter Chicken, the house’s best seller, has a rich, tangy, and tomatoey flavor that goes incredibly well with the house’s naan (flatbread). Meanwhile, the Fish Curry draws its excellent flavor from fresh curry leaves. The fish Om uses usually depends on the fresh catch of the day, but it’s guaranteed to have a tender and creamy texture which will complement the thick sauce well.
Enjoyed the lunch plate. It brought me back to Bombay and Delhi. Small servings but actually, just right. And that mirror by the entrance is a gem!
Ordered the buttered chicken, mutton rogan josh, veggie biryani rice, roti, and mango lassi.
There was a distinguishable difference between the taste of the two mains (good considering some restaurants tend to have dishes tasting too similar).
I was quite disappointed with the lack of spiciness of the curry. I would have wanted to be informed beforehand so I could request. Meat was tender.
Taste good enough to satisfy cravings.
Serving size is quite small.
Ordered vegetarian biryani rice, samosa, chicken tikka masala and fish amritsari with friends and I have to say it was all good and filling. Also love how relaxing the resto was. Even the restroom smelled like a clean yoga studio! I was smiling while inside! Also like the different sayings painted on the wall. Namaste :)

Once you get talking to him, it's easy to forget that DJ, Host, and TV Personality Sam Y.G. is of Indian descent. He speaks Tagalog better than I do, and his sense of humor is unmistakably Pinoy. Having lived in our country for so long, even Sam himself will attest that he feel right at home here in the Philippines. However, once he begins talking about the cuisine from his homeland, you can see Sam beam with pride, especially when he tells you the stories of how his mother would prepare the food for the family.

We were really looking forward to this EATSperience because we have heard a lot of good things about their food. Last Saturday, we finally had the time to see whether Om Indian Kitchen is really buzz worthy. Join us as we EATSperience some of their bestselling dishes in this edition of EATSplorations!
This restaurant definitely sets my standards high for indian cuisine. The staff was really good at comprehensively talking about their dishes.
What I liked:
Buttered chicken -very tasty;paired with fita bread
Vegetable Samosa
Masala Chai- indian staple drink
I am neutral when it comes to Indian food. It's because there are Indian food which are really good and there are some that is just so-so. I'm happy to have tried Om Indian K'tchen! They served us some of the basics, which are not really heavy because they've considered that we are on a foodcrawl and I find it very considerate. They've given us a background and a bit of what it's like to be in India and what food is commonly being served at home. I also find it interesting that the interior is very homey but with a taste of Indian feels, even the utensils are so on point. I hope every Indian restaurant keep their recipes as authentic as Om's. :)
Food:
Masala Chai
Seekh Kebab
Butter Chicken
Veg Samosa
Naan
Lemon Ginger
It's a decent place for regular meal, not a hang out venue (Can accommodate around 50 people max and don't serve liquor).
Talking about food, I being an Indian living on foreign soil, cherish any Indian dish I get to eat :) however being fair to the readers here, they serve decent Indian food, neither authentic nor outclass. But yes you'll not be disappointed will enjoy the taste they try to create, it's fun to watch Filipino people cooking Indian food, especially chapati.
Quantity is less compare to the prices and a meal for two, will easily cost you around PHP700 - PHP1000
After an event in Pasig, our team rushed here at The Grove to pick among a nice line up of restaurants. They have quite an interesting combination of cuisines. And we ended up here since we rarely get to have Indian. The last time I had one was eons ago. It's not available everywhere.
If you enjoy fragrance and complexity of spices in a single dish, Indian food is for you. It was quite a treat having a series of flavors past through our palette. What I liked most? Their Chicken Tikka Masala. It's temperature remained hot and its taste lingers in your mouth for a long time. It's very tasty and pairs well with aromatic cumin rice.
Their Vegetable Kofta is not your ordinary meatball. It brings various vegetables and rounds it up with signature spices. Its sauce had a nice kick of chili and intense presence of tomato, a nice combination. Palak Paneer, a green dish was differently good. This curd Indian cheese blended mostly with fresh spinach, tomato gravy sauce, garam masala and other spices was simply delicious. It has a nice smooth texture and will be perfect with rough Chicken Biryani.
Ready to make your mouth dance?
If you're craving for indian food or wanted to try indian cuisine then you may want to try this place.
serving size is a bit small but good quality.
What we liked: Samosa, naan, chicken tikka masala, and buttered chicken 👌🏼
What we ordered but were meh ok lang: Rot, mutton rogan josh
Nice small restaurant. The staff was friendly and service was ok. The prices were also not that bad though servings were a bit small. We have 3 ulams, rice, 2 orders of naan and 1 order of roti to share between 2 people.
I WISH THEY HAD KHEER IN THEIR DESSERT MENU!
Om is a tiny Indian restaurant in The Grove retail row in Pasig. The food is quite good and tasty. I was, however, a bit disappointed with the portion sizes. If you don't mind ordering a lot of, admittedly, good food just to get full then Om is the place. As far as bang for buck, though, there are other better places.
Om is a mystic syllable that creates a calming sound an positive energy. True to its name, the establishment is a really pleasant, relaxing place with its interior, music and good food.
I ordered the non-vegetarian set plate and Gujab Jamun a la Mode. My palette does not have the finesse to identify everything I have tasted but everything was flavorful and spiced amazingly. The naan was the best I've had so far and the dessert far exceeded my expectations. However, the basmati rice was a bit dry and there was hardly and buttered chicken. I also had their Rose Lassi which was just a miss for me. It was a little too sour and the rose flavor was so concentrated that it was really overpowering. The servers were also relatively inattentive but the food was really good that I will definitely come back to try the Samosas and Mango Chutney.
Overall, this is definitely one of the places to get Indian food in Pasig.
I've been meaning to go to Om these past few months but never got the chance. So I decided to order from them via Zomato delivery. Thankfully, the food arrived on time.
Vegetable Samosas - 3 pieces in an order. Quite good with the sweet & spicy tamarind and date chutney.
Vegetable Pakoras - quite a few fritters with potato and vegetable filling. The potato fritters were tasty
Chicken Tikka- this was the best part of the order. Tandoor grilled chunks of well-marinated chicken served with green chutney.
Definitely worth a visit to try out their gravy and curry dishes with rice/bread
If we were to talk about how authentic the taste is, then there is no doubt that Om is the "to-go place" for Indian food here in Manila.
What I enjoyed most was the non-vegetarian Samosa. It went really well especially with the tamarind sauce and chilli. The biryani rice was also great with the buttered chicken. The ala mode dessert was also good. :) Overall, the food was fantastic even if the serving was only good for 1-2 persons.
As for the service, this restaurant is kinda packed on weekends so reservations are highly recommended. The staff were friendly but from what I observed, they weren't really writing our orders which resulted to missing out on some of our orders. Even if the place was small, I highly recommend everyone to try this if you want to get away from your usual food ventures. :)
The food here is delicious. Their sauces pair very well with the finger foods, bringing out individual flavours. Their cumin rice was so good I ordered two servings! And their milk tea, Masala Chai, had different spices in it that felt relaxing. Their service is also excelllent with a very friendly owner.

I was excited to try this place out. It was a toss up between OM and the tempura place beside it - Been hearing a lot of rave reviews about their greenhills branch, so we had dinner here.
We ordered the non-vegetarian samosas, mutton (goat) curry, vegetarian biryani rice, buttered rice, and seekh kebab.
First served was the mutton curry and the biryani rice. We were surprised that the biryani rice was advertised to serve 2-3, but was actually just about a cup and half of rice. We dont really eat a lot of rice, but it wasn't even enough. It was also a bit bland and was served cold like it had been sitting out for a while.
My friend really liked the mutton curry. The goat meat was well cooked, tender, not 'malansa', and was packed with curry flavour. He thought that if the mutton was good, then we could expect our other dishes to be good as well since mutton was really hard to get right (imho).
the samosas came and got us excited again. They were said to be "the best samosas in town". Samosa is a light flaky pastry filled with vegetable or ground meat. The ones we had was filled with pork - pretty good, but the sauce made them dynamite. 👍🏻
Unfortunately, aside from the mutton and samosas, there wasn't anything else we enjoyed.
My seekh kebabs came and they were undercooked. The outside was charred, but the inside was raw. These kebabs are made with ground pork, so i had them reheat the skewered meat to avoid getting sick. The servers were highly apologetic, and i didnt really mind sending them back because its just better to be safe than sorry. When i was able to finally taste them - my god were they salty! Any good flavour was just overpowered with saltiness - and not even rice could balance the dish. Sayang because i barely touched my food after that.
In the middle of the meal, we ordered plain rice. Mind you, it was 80php for a cup. We figured it would be the long grain kind; and because the biryani rice was bitin and my kebabs were salty, we didn't really think twice about it. What we got was a cup of brownish, overcooked, bitter rice. Its rice thats usually stuck and scraped off the bottom of the pot. 😩 (tapos they told the table behind us na "wala nang plain rice, biryani nalang".. Aaah "okay")
1380php for a dinner for two was a bit steep considering what i just wrote about some of the things we ordered.
The service at om is great. They were all attentive, quick, and polite. I would have liked that they not clear the table before everyone was done eating, but thats just my personal preference.
The place was small but vibrant. The open kitchen was organized, and seemed sanitaty. The floors could use a good clean though - It was a bit sticky and brown.
Our visit could've gone better. For om's price point, i would've expected more from them. There are some things the management can still improve on during their "soft opening" phase. Inspite of the hit and miss food, we still left looking forward to some of their dishes like the samosas and mutton curry. ☺️
Indian food in the Philippines has always been a treasure for many of us Filipinos, since not so many places cater such restaurants due to their uniqueness to the public. However, there is a unfound piece of this treasure that can be spotted in The Grove in the form of Om's Indian Kitchen. Their food choices were a bit limited but undeniably authentic from the Butter Chicken to their Biryani Rice. The Butter Chicken's taste was authentically rich with spices and butter balanced in a single dish thanks to the sauce made up of tomato and cashews as well as some butter infused to add extra thickness to it. and their Biryani Rice had a strong taste due to notes of flavour from the saffron found in the dish, and this makes it all the more authentic for anyone who looks for proper Indian food. To be able to dine here was a proper experience and I will continue to wait to experience proper indian food once again from Om's Indian Kitchen.
Our meal at Om was enjoyable.
We tried their Non-Veg Samosas, Paneer Tikka, Palak Paneer, and their Buttered Chicken. Oh! I also had their Salty Lassi.
My favorite were the Samosas! Nice crisp pastry shell and very strong tasty ground pork. The shell was a bit thick but it went well with how flavorful the inside was. It was even better with the mango chutney and tamarind sauce. All the flavors of sweet, sour, and spicy blended very well together.
All the other dishes we had were good. Nothing that super peaked my interest but all enjoyable.
I like that their dishes are not very spicy and you can add to it depending on your liking. I do wish they have an option for not spicy at all since there are a lot of Filipinos, like my sister, who really can't eat spicy food.
Service was good. Food was served hot with very little waiting time and the servers were very attentive.
We regularly eat in this place and always order Chicken Ticka, Butter Chicken and ofcourse Naan. Its one of best Indian restaurant in the area.

Was craving for Indian food and came across this restaurant online. Since it was near our house, we decided to visit. Place is very pleasant. Servers are friendly. Serving of food didn't take too long. Food was superb and it wasn't very pricey. I ordered one of their beat seller dish but wasn't available. Anyway, I love everything about this place. Definitely going back soon! :)
It's easy to picture a stereotypical plate of fine dining food - diddily dimensioned and precisely plated to within a millimeter of its life. One of the reasons why I love Indian food/cuisine is because it’s normally the exact opposite. There’s nothing quite like getting stuck into a hearty bowl of curry mopped up with a fistful of naan. Having found out that Om's Kitchen already branched out at The Grove, I hurriedly brought my Indian-Cuisine-Virgin-Colleagues and let them feast on what they have been missing all their lives.
At it’s best, Om Indian Kitchen's portions are immense; expertly spiced and skilfully cooked. A mix of papadums, one notably light and crisp like a prawn cracker, served with delightful tomato chutneys, kicked off things in style. A salty, spiced Lassi packed with roasted cumin, fragrant coriander and a kick of green chilli was a deliciously savoury drink. My loyalty towards my old friend the Mango Lassi however remains unshaken. The tasty and well portioned, Chicken Tikka Paneer is delicately charred and topped with sweet corn, this alone wins the complexity of the other mains. Exquisitely spiced baby chicken was married with a mound of crispy potato shreds, inside of which nestled intensely spiced, soft leg meat and stellar mint chutney.
A modern twist on the standard Indian restaurant, Om Indian Kitchen offers a sleek, colorful atmosphere and serves up equally bright dishes, not the least of which includes a Gulab Ala Mode - a combination of Kulfi & Gulab Jamun! But don't worry, your traditional Indian favorites are still very much a part of the menu, ready to be enjoyed with basmati rice served in abundance alongside its excellent golden-brown naan. Can't wait to visit again and have those mouth-watering Samosas real soon!
Nice and cozy ambience that goes well with the home-cooked feel of the food. Very inviting place, well-lit and friendly staff. Food is authentic northern Indian cuisine. Really satisfies my Indian food craving every time I visit Om Indian Kitchen
Definitely going back to this restaurant for the awesome service, food and ambience. Me and my girlfriend are fans of Medditeranean cuisine and I have to say that their dishes sure hit the spot. We were offered a complimentary yogurt shake because of our reservation which taste so good and would definitely tickle your taste buds. We ordered their best-seller, Mutton Jogan Rosh along with Vegetable Biryani Rice, Naan and their Kulfi Ice Cream on top of the Saffron Dough ball for dessert. I have to say that every cent you pay is so worth it because their dishes are so delectable. The affordable price is also a plus factor! Would definitely recommend this to my friends and it certainly is a must-try!
Om Indian Kitchen is one of the newest restaurants in Grove Retail Row. It gives residents and other guests an opportunity to try Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. We ordered vegetarian samosa, mutton rogan josh, roti, and naan. The vegetarian samosa reminds me of our local empanada. It is stuffed with peas and some vegetable and a little bit spicy. Mutton rogan josh is another traditional Indian dish. It is not so spicy which I think is intentionally done to satisfy/match the Filipino palate. I just wish that they added more flavor to this dish (maybe add more salt). In my opinion, this one goes well with naan.
The service was good and the servers were friendly. Take note that the place is small and probably can only accommodate 15-20 people at at time. They also sell Indian decors and small knick knacks.
