Beef Rendang - Soft, tender and tasty brisket with a good filling portion for a hungry man 😎. Quite the same consistency with Beef Rendang I've been ordering from other south east asian neighbor
Nachos - Cruncy freshly popped tortilla chips with saucy toppings of nacho cheese , jalapeno and ground beefssss... its just simply YUMMY!
Chicken Tikka Masala - Tasty Tikka Masala sauce however the chicken meat itself lacks flavor and is a lil "malansa"(taste like raw chicken) for me.
Pizzas are great, soft chewy pizza dough with tasty toppings for both Rustic Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza.
Truffle Mac & Cheese - this is well loved by my friends and has been repeatedly ordering this dish for the last visits. However a truffle fan like me could hardly scent and taste the truffle though. < or I may just be biased since I was never a mac&cheese fan :P >
Banana Turon - Nothing exceptional. You may want to leave your tiny tummy space for something else.
Overall, very satisfied with their ala carte varieties and their service is Consistently Exceptional.
Will be back real soon to try out their lenten menu.

The food isn't cheap - but it isn't ultra expensive either. I've tried the breakfast buffet and ordered stuff ala carte [kare-kare is very good, as well as the corned beef sinigang]. So far I have yet to order food that is just so-so. Since you have to go up to the 6th floor, there's a level of privacy and that's what makes the place stand out for me. It isn't noisy and crowded. You can actually hold meetings and you won't end up shouting because of the noise.
The place is very cozy. Intimate setting, music was not too loud and the decor is very good. Service as expected with these kind of place is superb! Everyone was very attentive even to the littlest detail. Food choices are a bit limited, but will keep coming back because you can taste how much care was put in preparing each dishes. Price is OK.
When I hear the word nostalgia, I often associate it with a sentimental longing for past happy moments. Those who are nostalgic can relive the simple past or better yet create new memories as they dine at Nostalgia Lounge and Bar located at Joy~Nostalg Hotel and Suites Manila managed by AccorHotels.
We ate here during our meeting. I love the simple elegance of the dining area. The buffet choices were limited but the food was cooked very well. I ate everything as well. The area we sat in had a city view. Very elegant place indeed.
I love, love, the atmosphere and decor of their dining lounge. We had Sunday brunch here and while their spread wasn't too much, most of their food were quite good. I loved their chicken pasta, steak, cheese and bread selections, and their grilled shrimps. They also had complimentary champagne when we dined and for someone who doesn't drink (at all), I quite enjoyed my flute of sparkle.

We had a corporate dinner here. The ambiance was really good and the staff were attentive to our needs. As for the food, it tastes Ok. Or maybe we've just ordered the wrong combination. I feel like there's too much oil in every dish we've ordered. Some of the veggies for our salad were not crisp. Overall, we had a nice experience maybe because of the ambiance.

What more can i say? Everything here is awesome. Me and my family will surely comeback.
Update: We miss the place already! ❤️❤️❤️
Not to be confused with Nostalgia, this is Oakroom. It is a lounge and bar. Hence, it specializes on offering alcoholic drinks to its patrons. Well stocked and has some hard drinks that you won't find in other bars. Not two days ago, they Oakwood launched whisky appreciation nights. Here they serve around 7 different kinds of whisky for you to appreciate. I liked it how they have a guest that introduced each drink and explained its flavors, aromas and history. ....
These aren't your run of the mill normal whisky or scotch that you could buy at snr or your normal liqour store. I must say though, I enjoyed and learned quite a lot...plus they even served fingerfoods that went well with the drinks...
Anyway going back, the experience was pretty decent. More of an older generation vibe, like late 20's and up. Here, you won't need to shout because of loud music. The background sound was just laughter and chit chat.... You could just enjoy your glass of wine or scotch and stay late at night...
Come ons would be the ambiance and the crowd. Perfect for a nightcup or a meeting. Plus the location is pretty near my place so I liked it.

It's the closest hotel from my place. Despite that I frequent this hotel than any other for its big rooms and it's cozy lone bar inside. Too bad they don't turn on the volume on the tv.
It was brunch time and they kindly served me their lunch menu inside the bar. I had grilled Chicken Quesadilla for bar chow and Spinach Dimpling from Nostalgia.
I liked having both extreme cuisines in one go. The serving was generous and quite delicious for its price. Although not many items are affordable.
The first 5 I have given on Zomato! The most amazing dinner with my wife last night. We were celebrating our anniversary, and we were so hungry, so the dishes kept coming. We started with soup, Mexican Tortilla for me, Tomato with Cheese-stuffed Tortellini for my bride, both A++++++, I had the Center Cut Leg of Lamb, my wife opted for the 12oz Ribeye, both A++++++, we shared the Salmon-stuffed Tortellini and a bottle of Cabernet Merlot (wine of the month), both A++++++, we also shared the Deconstructed Black Forest Cake, A++++++. Carlo and Tin, the Wait staff were also A++++++-mazing! An anniversary to remember!
It's a good thing my friend Edroy works at Oakwood. I discovered their value for money buffet at lunch. Today I got to feast on their Indonesian Festival. It taste like you're in their country. They also serve enough choices for appetizer and desserts. Not bad for less than 1k.

This restaurant is known for the multiple themed buffets that they offer. So making it a habit to eat here is not impossible for they are known for their Spanish and Korean buffets but there are days that Chinese, Japanese buffets are served and in my case for this Mother's Day celebration, it was my favorite theme which is Italian. The ambiance is perfect for family get togethers with three private rooms but the main hall itself is a show for no table setting are alike. The chairs vary and the type of table which fits the number of guests. The people who eat here is also a plus like a place for educated people only. No one is rude and the staff is extremely pleasant. The design is eclectic to fit any buffet they offer. Food is wonderful in a quiet , intimate setting. A perfect place to celebrate anything special. The price is mid range for an Ortigas Hotel based restaurant (Keep this fact in mind). So that makes it worth every centavo spent.
Must Try:
1. Ribeye Steak with Peppercorn Sauce and Broccoli Au Gratin
2. Lamb Chops

Such a lovely place to be at. During our visit, there were only 6 occupied tables in the main dining area that evening. Then there were two private dining rooms occupied. We had the table by the window. Like the name of the dining lounge, nostalgic pictures from the 60s were on the wall prior to entering the restaurant. The decor is Asian and French influenced. The food is very good. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable with the food preparation and service was prompt. Overall, the dining experience was very good.
Great place to hang-out with friends after work.. Not much people and can really have decent conversations with nice ambiance. I love the cocktails and their food selections too.
Reminiscing the past and bringing it back may not be a bad way to enjoy the Valentine Season.
Remembering how it ones was and how the good times were is a great way to enjoy a night.
OAKWOOD'S NOSTALGIA just brought sexy back and it is making you think back.
Once you enter, you are welcomed by a harp player. Lovely!
If you are planning to have a semi power meeting or a secret rendezvous, they have fancy looking mini function rooms that is really sexy yet simple.
This is one is my favorite. As it is bright and lively.
Since NOSTALGIA is a new make on their dining concept, they have made a new menu. Old favorites were present and they made new ones to entice everyone.
I was able to try out their new offerings and let's see how it went.
The first on the menu is a Trio of Appetizers.
CRISP PORK BELLY and MESCLUN, ESCARGOT in PUFF PASTRY and CHEF'S TERRINE
The pork belly was almost perfect. The terrine is the Chef's family's recipe. It was a bit neutral but the pickle helped to make the flavors pop. The winner here would be the puff pastry. The ESCARGOT is amazing. Something different from the usual butter and pesto plate, it is now in a pastry shell. I liked this very much.
For us to be able to try a lot more dishes, they made smaller portions.
Next up, we were able to try the CHICKEN SUPREME with MUSHROOM MOUSSE and the MACADAMIA CRUSTED SALMON FILLET with mini vegetables and Chardonnay Sauce.
Most of the dinners fell in love with the salmon. It was perfectly cooked, moist and the macadamia crust gave it a different texture. I was actually impressed with the small pickled veggies as the sweetness was brought out from the mini veggies.. I don't eat them usually but I couldn't stop having them.
I personally liked the Chicken more as the meat was cooked perfectly and the mousse made the dish bring more flavor.
To end the meal, we had the TARTUFO.
Shaped like an ice cream but believe me it isn't.
It felt like cream inside a chocolate cake with chocolate dip on the side.
Lovely way to end the meal.

They are offering a promo stay.
You could avail of a suite for Php 8500 nett with a bottle of red wine & a romantic set dinner for two.
Not bad if you ask me. Cheers.
