Go-To Tapa!! I was reading mixed reviews about the place but I have to check it out myself!! It was delightful! Portions are big for Php 115! And also yummy!! Never leave this place not ordering Tapa!! They also have other viands beside the Silogs. Gotta be patient though as there are a lot of customers and just a handful of waiters that you had to remind them twice to follow up an extra order but it’s all good! They also have varied desserts! Had to take out 2 Mango Floats!!

Finding ourselves yaya-less during the holiday break but with no desire to tire ourselves out cooking the family’s lunch, Hubby and I decided to take the family out to dine out instead. We scoured our neck of the woods for a resto that will appeal to us and the kids, as well as open for business during the holiday. Fortunately, we chanced upon a branch of Tapsi ni Vivian along C. Raymundo Avenue in Pasig.
As a first-timer, the best seller tapsi is actually good - tender, and right amount of sweetness, better than your standard fare; sinangag is also soft and garlicky... not bad for 115 pesos. But the winner hands down is the dinuguan - tender and so tasty. The ube from the halo-halo is surprisingly good too! Creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. Will come back for the other dishes.
What We Had:
Tapsilog, Letsilog, Cheese cake
What We Like:
The serving is generous! The lechon kawali was okay, nothing extra ordinary. But the tapa was really good! Only downside is that waiting time can be really long and the place can get really loud and crowded during busy nights.
We also brought home their cheesecake! Very thin but sweet and delicious.
Place is always crowded during sundays with families lining up to get to experience tapsi ni vivian. Most are returning customers because of the quality the silog meals and other dishes this joint serves. The branch here is new so it's much better looking in both exterior and interior vs all other branches I've been. The tapsilog meal is still the best to order here. The tapa is outstanding and I my favorite is requesting for a 'malasadong itlog' sunny side up rice topping. The yolk flowing to my rice plus the tapa is just a match made in heaven.

For a couple of months now, Josh has been bugging me to try Tapsi Ni Vivian. I think he first tried this after it was mentioned in the movie "I'm Drunk I Love You" (He is a huuuuge fan of this movie!). Since there isn't a branch near me, I put it off for a couple of months already. It was only until a couple of weeks back that he decided to bring me here to try their famous tapsilog.
Tapsi Ni Vivian serves awesome all-day breakfast meals, and one of their bestsellers and their namesake, Tapsilog (Php 110) is your no frills Filipino breakfast that every Pinoy must try at least once. 💖 The beef tapa was tender and flavorful, and when drizzled with their vinegar, the slight sweetness of the tapa is well complemented by the sour-spicy taste of the vinegar. Their tapa is also enjoyable because it's like a beef stee cooked for a long period of time -- the beef was tender, yet you can still chew on it and feel the strands of meat. 👌 The egg still has a flowy yolk, which may be mixed with the fried rice. I wish the rice was more garlicky though. 😅
I actually am tempted to get their chicharong bulalak, but we're not getting any younger -- so with all my willpower, I decided to skip it. HAHAHAHA.
Service is pretty straightforward. You go to the counter, order your food, and wait for it to be served. Ambiance in this branch is quite nice... I was expecting it to have no airconditioning units, and just ceiling fans to combat the heat. But the branch was well-lit and fully airconditioned! ✨
So, I'll leave you with this million dollar question: Rodic's, or Tapsi Ni Vivian? 🐮

I really wanted to try their tapsilog for quite a while and its really worth it. The beef melts is very tender and their garlic rice is good as well. Also bought their Mango Foat to go and their Cheezee Cheese pie which is surprisingly good. The cashier said its their best seller. This is now one of my favorite tapsilogan❤️
My favorite, atay and balunbalunan and liemposilog. First time to visit Tapsi ni Vivian though it's just few steps away from home. Cool and clean place. Food was good, though I haven't tried the other menu. They have bulalo that I think is worth the price. I'll try it nxt time. Hahaha. #foodie #foodtrip #dinner

We went to this place on its soft opening date for a quick night hunger fix and we were really upset because our orders took almost an hour to be served despite several follow ups. And when the food came, we were more disappointed because the food was cold. We said to ourselves that we will never return to this resto again. However, after several months, we decided to give the resto another chance to redeem itself. After all, it is expected that restos will have challenges on logistics at soft launches. Anyway dining here the second time around was way better. There no more long queues at order taking. The food was served hot in minutes. The marinade of their tapa dish is delectable with the right amount of sweetness and saltiness. Their Lechon-silog and Chicharon bulaklak dish is crispy and basically delicious. Hunger indded satisfied. Affordable prices and friendly staff too. Place is big and good for casual dining. The only problem is that this resto is not airconditioned. I think they will only use their airconditioning for special events/functions.
I ordered Tapsilog and Ensaladang Mangga here. It taste really good in a cheap price. The place is clean and staffs are kind. ! They have so many choices on their menu.
Recommend place to eat especially if you crave for some tapa, it taste great and the price is reasonable 💖💖💖. The place in pasig and anonas have a good ambience however the branch at anonas doesn't have an air-conditioning
This was highly recommended by my brother, Interior very nice, service Good, the Food: Tapsi is ok i had something better, nilaga is average too, dinuguan is sweet? its like dinuguang tapsi, i want my dinuguan on a sour side, price is above average.
Super sarap ng lechon kawali nila! There are a lot of choices when you go to their place. Yung tapa. sakto lang. Serving is plenty and affodable
If you’re in a hurry, I suggest don’t eat at this place because their waiting time ranges from 20-30 minutes. Food was delicious but too oily for me :( The ambiance was okay, though I suggest to go there at night because it’s an open restaurant. Their staff was more like not trained at all when it comes to work, while we were waiting for our food, some of the staff were shouting and bad mouthing against another. Overall, it’s a great option to consider if you’re into tapsi! 😌
