One of my go-to places! Their service might be a bit slow, but that's because they only prepare a dish when someone orders it!
I love their tacos (both soft and hard shells), Querida Mia Verde, vegetable burrito, naked burritos and breakfast meals.
Army Navy may not be the best TexMex resto there is, but I still find most of their dishes delicious. The food items are reasonably priced and the serving portions, HUGE!♥️ Some branches are even open 24 hours!
What’s great about this branch of Army Navy is tat it’s 24/7. The food is pretty decent, too. It’s on the more expensive side (in terms of fast food restaurants), but the servings are big.
Army Navy is one of my go-to places to get a burger, burrito, taco, quesadillas, or even fried chicken. With its diverse menu, it may seem Tex-Mex American so to speak. There are numerous branches around the Metro, but this is my preffered branch as it is:
1) close to work (a short cab ride away)
2) open 24/7
My usual orders are one of the burgers, and my favorite burrito, the Steak Burrito. Of course, I cannot forget the Freedom Fries on the side.
The burgers are always beefy and juicy. Steak burrito can be a hit or miss. Sometimes it has been dry, but then putting loads of hot sauce makes things a tad bit better. The fries has always been spot on. Since the fries are thin, they are always crispy. Love the fries!
Food: 4.0 - Excellent taste. Sometimes a few misses.
Price: 4.0 - Things can be on the pricey side. On special days though, the company does have certain promos, and that's something to always watch out for.
Service: 5.0 - Food is served pretty quick, even when busy.
Ambience: 4.0 - With such a name, it isn't surprsing that the place has some sort of barrack pantry feel with it's very minimalist and clean design.
One day, I will give a go on their breakfast items.
They want the style of the restaurant to be more of the self-service type. But we are in a country that people love to be served so they made some adjustments with their service.
I’m willing to oblige just so you know.
Best food you can get here: the tortilla soup. The herbs, the tortilla crunch on top, that hot steam that smells zesty. Clam chowder is expensive by 5 more pesos I think, but it doesn’t mean that expensive means better. Next best is their freedom fries, breaded and cut in small sticks, I can come in a bad mood and exit happy after eating these two.
Burgers and burritos also do not disappoint, their fried chicken with gravy and rice is more on the stronger side because of the black pepper. Their rice meals are good as well.
Just note that if you get something to go or for delivery, the foil they wrap their burgers and burritos are thin, they hold on to the food until they get to you, but when you open it you need to have a proper plate below you or you’ll spill sauce on your shirt.
I like the crispy breaded chicken with the not so salty peppery gravy that goes with it. Just wished that prep time's shorter and price a bit lower.
I keep on ignoring ARMY NAVY until I tried their foods in Greenhills branch. From there on I fell in love with their Burgers and Burrito. Their branch here in Ortigas is much better than their sister branch in Greenhills, place is more cozy.
I always order fearless fried chicken and its good even without their rich in pepper gravy. The freedom fries is also a great side with Libertea. Their burger is great no doubt about it.
Tip: Just order the regular Libertea. You might be up all night if you upsize.
Been going here for few times now because I love the P.I. burrito. It is actually adobo burrito. The burgers here are awesome. But for the crew, sometimes they don't clean the tables right away. Unlike in the Taft branch, they don't have squeeze bottles for the white sauce. I have to go to the counter for refill.
Their burritos and burgers are to die for. They have a lot of branches around the metro which offers quality service and delicious meals. Definitely, a burger/burrito lover hang-out place.
As I get more into food reviews, so does invites from restaurants and even homemade products. Last week, Army Navy sent an email for me to try their new pasta line called Mextiza. Imagine a mostly Mexican vibe serving Italian. They offer two classic, Carbonara and Pasta with Meatballs. The two unique ones, Guacamole and Enchilada took my interest and picked them.

Enchiladas can be filled with a variety of ingredients, including meat, cheese, beans, potatoes, vegetables or combinations. Imagine these in pasta form. It actually worked! I love the vibe it created and it was so flavorful. This went so well with the Guacamole. Avocado on al dente noodles made perfect sense.
Another plus with this experience is its affordability. Price points are at Php 270 and its good for 2-3 people.
First time dining here, and the P.I. Burrito was a sumptuous treat. Really enjoyed the adobo flakes, the flavour, the rice, and everything about it. Libertea was an added delight that made my breakfast full and whole.
Food are a bit pricy, but I would definitely go back and try out other dishes and snacks they offer. I heard from a friend that their fried chicken is good. :)
Army Navy is a dependable made-to-order fast food joint. There are a few around town, but this, and the one on Salcedo Street are my favorite branches.
My usual Army Navy staples would have to be the Nachos, Steak Burritos, and the Carnitas Soft Tacos. The chips are always super crispy and a must with any burrito. The Steak burrito is the best of the bunch. Perfectly-seasoned steak bits, Mexican rice, soft, refried beans, and fresh salsa make this burrito special. It always looks small to me, but after inhaling it in 10 minutes, I always regret eating the whole darn thing!
The fact the this branch is open 24-hours is huge. I know I can always get soft carnitas tacos whenever I'm craving it. And, I love, love, that you can get Breakfast Burritos all day. That's what I'm talking about--it's so frustrating when you get to a restaurant just at the cut-off and they refuse to serve you breakfast! Not an issue here. Army Navy will continue to be my go-to place whenever I'm craving something a little on the heavier side.

My family and I had our lunch here last sunday afternoon before hearing the mass. We ordered chipotle, freedom fries and their house blend iced tea "libertea". The fries is so awesome. With its thin slices and incredible flavor, you will really this fries from Army Navy.
My family went here last time to have lunch. We ordered their chipotle, freedom fries and libertea. My family loved the fries so much. With its tiny cuts and unusual flavor which perfectly suits to its own brand of ice tea, "libertea". Their chipotle also taste well. I love the grilled smoke flavor of its patty.
Army Navy is one of our favorite but we don’t usually go there
because it is a bit pricey just to have burrito or quesadilla. Well I hope they
will offer combo meals soon so it will be affordable and pocket friendly.
Food: Our favorite thing to order in Army Navy is the
Steak Burrito love the combination with salsa. My daughter likes Steak
Quesadilla and freedom fries which is a bit spicy so it is a good or perfect combination
with libertea. Service: like any other fast food chain the crew are very quick
and attentive. Place: it is clean spacious maybe because of the price wala
masyadong tao in strata 2000 branch :)

I grabbed a veggie burrito before I start my day at work. First bite - taste bland. Like I need to add some salt. I added the condiments I was given - but still, I don't I didn't like it all
I tried steak burrito and I wasn't really a fan of the taste. Ambience is good and service is okay also. I wish I shouldn't ordered that. I should have a burger instead.
There's such a thing as being strong...but it's different being ARMY strong. Army Navy packs all the militia to deliver American-Mexican fusion of comfort fast food. With a little less than 30!branches already across the metropolis, they are providing us burgers, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, milkshakes and cheesesteaks!
This branch of theirs located at the ground floor of Strata 2000, nestled at the heart of the Ortigas CBD, is just the perfect location to satisfy your burrito fix.
Now, what's most fulfilling about this franchise is how it has expanded it's menu to serving breakfast meals (pancakes & Filipino rice dishes) and how it has managed to make its look and vibe like you're in a Mess Hall.
So let's get down to business.
The Quintessential Salute (+):
- diversity of their menu crossing over an American-Mexican mix
- Breakfast Burritos. I've lived long enough in the US to know NOT a lot of places offer this, and for it to be part of their menu, KUDOS. And that Filipino touch of having a Longganisa variant...perfect.
- LiberTea Iced Tea. I have high respect for restaurants who brew their own tea. It's not a simple process. They brew this and it comes out hot, that's why whenever they serve it, they do so with a lot of ice. Flavor wise, it's unique and an escape from your commercial, diabetes juice.
- Their Sides. Onion Rings & Freedom Fries, again, unique variants because they serve these differently across other fast food chains. Worth the buy.
- Marketing. Army Navy knows how to sell themselves well taking full advantage of their brand name, and being so Americana. How they have interesting reads on their walls explaining what Freedom Fries or the Bully Boy Burger is, hat's off to that. And their Gift Certificates, to call them G.I. Bills, that's witty.
- Their simple mission: Come in Hungry, Walk Out Happy.
Lieutenant's Demotion (-)
- like any fast food chain, thy all strive for consistency. I've been fortunate to dine in several Army Navy branches may then around my home, office, or even in Tagaytay. The look will always remain the same, but sometimes they can fall short on serving size. I've encountered a few instances on how uneven some meat portions can be inside their burritos. Or how I would experience having a small bone in their Chipotle Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I may have dined on bad days, but still.
- Their burgers. Let me be the first to burst your bubble, yes 1/4 pound patty, but it can still be better and more flavorful. If I had to "Facemash" burger brands across the city, Army Navy can be beaten out by it's neighboring more commercial fast food chains in the first round. To each his own, but I'll go for a more "8 cut" blend. Still, I admire how they market the Bully Boy Burger, it being a triple quarter pounder.
The General's Orders:
1) Steak Breakfast Burrito - a hand's down favorite. Take it any time of the day, it's a power meal ready to be unwrapped and devoured to break your fast.
2) Chicken Quesadilla - regardless of the flavors, their quesadillas are cheesy and flavorful enough. Just right, and perfect with their Army Navy sauce and salsa.
The Major's Decision:
I am fan. I am a patron. I am an Officer and a Gentleman to the Army Navy.
Cheers!
A go to place in the heart of ortigas center if you want to fill your stomach with mexican food. Been here countless times during work hours. We tried fearless fried chicken, cheese & chicken quesadilla, burger, libertea and my favorite freedom fries w/ mayo (comfort food)!
A day before the payday Friday, my officemates and I decided to have our lunch be delivered by Army Navy. We called up their delivery service, 333-3131, and ordered good food. We had the following:
-Chicken Quesadilla for Sir Jayson
-Steak Burrito for Michie and Ma’am Kat
-Charlie Bravo for Ma’am Lyn and
-Burger for me
We called around 11:30AM and said our food will be delivered after 45 minutes or an hour. It was a long time for us to wait for our food, but to a surprise, our food was delivered around 12nn! :) HOORAY! Everyone’s hungry so we dig in to our food right away!
Sir Jayson had Army Navy’s Chicken Quesadilla (Php165) which is made of folded tortilla with chicken, cheese, sautéed onions and green bell pepper. According to Sir Jayson, their chicken quesadilla was tasteful and oozing with cheese. It had the right amount of spice and saltiness and the chicken was so tender.
Michie and Ma’am Kat had Steak Burritos (php195) for them. It consists of flour tortilla filled with meat, Spanish rice, beans, onions, lettuce and cilantro. Michie preferred without the beans and she really appreciated it that the staff who got our orders took note of this. They both agreed that the burrito was delicious and heavy to eat. As for me who have tried this before, it tasted a bit spicy and the meat was a bit chewy and lacked some taste. However, the serving was just right to be full. (Each burrito and quesadilla comes with a salsa and sour cream sauce.)
For Ma’am Lyn, she devoured her favorite Army Navy food- The Charlie Bravo (php195). It is an open-faced quesadilla, topped with cheese and bacon. Ma’am Lyn was so kind to let me try it and beym! The combination of cheese and bacon with the thin and crispy tortilla was so right I just can’t get enough! The cheese exploded its cheesiness while the bacon oozed out its smokiness and crispiness! (CHEESE AND BACON HEAVEN!!!) If only I can ask for more bites, I will. :p
And for me, I ordered their Burger (Php165). It is their classic, single quarter-pound beef patty topped with fresh, crispy lettuce, tomato slice and onions, mayo and ketchup on toasted sesame seed Kaiser bun. I can’t believe their burger is this big. I was only thinking it would be a size of McDonald’s burger. Oh well, the saying is really true, first impressions doesn’t last.
The burger was good. Its patty is thick and had the right smoky flavor. The combination of tomatoes, lettuce, onion, mayo and ketchup was perfect and had a hint of spice. What I don’t like with this burger was I can smell my breath and smells like shawarma. HAHA! But nonetheless, I enjoyed each bite of my burger :D
Will definitely go back to devour a whole charlie bravo! :)
It is located in the heart of the busy business center of Ortigas where lots of call center / BPO offices situated. As part of the industry (call center), it's hard to deny the fact that sometimes this job give us a lot of stress we could ever experience. Once in a while, we crave for something new; something that can relieve all that night-long stress; something larger than our stomach can digest! And thank goodness because we have ARMY NAVY in the neighborhood.
Place : Very Good.
*The only thing is the chairs don't have backrests. WE need it especially when we got full and heavy.
Price : For the size? Are you kidding me, it's cheap! Haha! If you are earning money, it's good to splurge into something you'll be satisfied.
