Me and my bff went to hang out in Tipsy Pig after having those big mugs and massive nachos so we decided to grab some coffee i got Flat white and some bread.
I love the hot matcha drink. Will try their chai latte next time.
We ordered Wagyu burger- medium well, and mushroom pasta.
The wagyu burger was not that tasty maybe im just looking for a slight hint of saltiness from the patty or the cheese. Huge servings though.. still for me its overprice. Love how the potatoes were fried or maybe baked? It's like those potato chips you can buy on groceries, and not soaked in oil. The interior was chill specially that its saturday morning and no rush from the usual busy weekdays and twas raining so love the ambience when we ate there. The pasta was good at first it was saucy but the noodles started sipping the sauce which was good it made the al dente pasta tasty. Minus 1 start for the langaw and mosquitos 😅
The cold brew here is better than Starbucks’. That’s all you need to know really.
Food is good too. Big servings, a bit oily but good stuff. And the pastries are nice.
It’s a great surprise to find out that Toby’s has finally opened in Ortigas. They have a wide selection of coffee and also offers great meal. I just have to say that tier food is little bit pricey...
A coffee shop perf for tita-han gatherings! Tried the buckys and cookie which were a bit sweet for my taste but might be just right when paired with coffee/tea.
Such a laid back place, good for catching up with friends (the chill, not noisy kind) or alone time reading a book. Loved the industrial look and feel, too. I enjoyed their chai latte which had a generous dollop of chai spice and their Bucky's original pastry. Not an ideal place for those who want to work with internet needs since they don't have wifi and Globe data is intermittent in the location.
This is where I get my afternoon coffee every Sunday and it never fails me. I always, ALWAYS order the single-origin brew. Hahaha!
And I always accompany it with their all-day breakfast meals! I just LOVE that they have a good variety of EGG dishes! I love everything, from the traviata, to the scrambled eggs on toast with mushrooms, etc.

I haven't tried much of their menu but this Iced Mocha was definitely delicious. It wasn't too sweet or too strong.
The ambiance was great and very comfortable. You can read, study, work, or even chill here.

The coffee I had is actually good. The cake, too sweet. I was expecting it to be. Bit bitter. The coffee is a bit pricey but nonetheless good.

When Toby's first opened their branch in Makati, they easily had the best mocha we've had. So everytime, we're in an area where they have Toby's we always choose to go there instead of the usual Starbucks. We ordered our favorite cafe mocha, it was served in the perfect temp and easy to drink, nicely paired with a bucky.
Their flat white is the best! Creamy yet the coffee is still strong. I also get the long black and it is best paired with any of their cookies. Their cookies are one of the best ones I’ve tried. Its tasty, soft and chewy-although a little bit on the sweet side. I have also tried their meals like grilled cheese, arugula salad, sramble on toast and sliders. However, I did not enjoy these since most are too salty.

Because of Toby’s Estate’s promo (20% off on iced drinks for a week), I made sure I get to purchase a drink. I still have a dinner to go to after my visit to Toby’s so I didn’t get a heavy drink. I settled for an Iced Chai Latte. It was just right (chai tea flavor is not that strong) and tastes better than other chai tea lattes offered by other coffee shops.

Best cafe mocha and bagel. You’ll never get disappointed with their menu down to their service. Whether to-go or dine in, you’ll be satisfied. Moreover! Their comfort room is so clean and pretty, which is another plus point for me.

Toby's is my go-to place for a coffee fix when I'm in our Ortigas office (considering that Starbucks is blocks away). Menu offering is quite extensive - from soups, salads, snacks, breakfast, sandwiches, pasta, mains, desserts...and WINE! Flat White is my usual drink. This also tastes great when you pair it with a Bucky's ala Mode or Bucky's n Cream. Chorizo Pasta and Dutch Eggs are also recommended.

I have always loved tobys! From food to coffee to dessert, they never disappoint!
Went to tobys estate to try their new seasonal menu! And I must, you should definitely try the selection before the season ends! These are gunna be available until the end of September!
I really loved everything from this seasonal menu! My favorite is the red wine braised chicken! The meat was so juicy and tender. The mashed potato that came with it was honestly really the best!
Corned Beef and Hash - REALLY REALLY GOOD AS WELL! The corned beef is just a little bit too spicy for my liking, but it was really good! It came potato rosti, giving the crunch that the dish needs.
Salami and Cheese Croissant - This is definitely the perfect merienda snack paired with your iced coffee! The Croissant is so crunchy and soft at the same time! They even get their Croissant from France (if I remembered it correctly), and that's definitely why it's too good to resist!
Linguine Puttanesa - this dish is really so simple and honest that you'll keep wanting more after every bite!
Tip: Tobys estate has gelato smoothies! It's available at their Ortigas and salcedo branch only! I tried the Arctic Mocha, AND IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD!! This will definitely be your new favorite!

Probably one of the biggest Toby's Estate branches alongside with the Salcedo, Greenhills and Shang at the fort branches. This branch is probably the most laid back of em all. It's not too busy but not too empty, it's just fine. I really love Toby's Estate ever since and in my opinion Flat White/Latte and Bucky's and cream is the best combo ever!

Chicken was so tender, mashed potatoes at the bottom is smooth and well-seasoned. In my opinion, I think the red wine is too strong for this dish.

I like their mocha. It's more of the coffee than the choco. It's bittersweet taste is something that I would like in a mocha as a coffee addict. The place also has great interiors and the staff always smiles. Great job!
Tried their Chai Chocolate and it was good. The place is so cozy. The staff are nice and kind. Great place for catching up with friends. Will surely come back to try their other drinks and pastries.
I think this is the largest Toby’s Estate branch I’ve been to. The place is very spacious and offers a lot of seating capacity. The interior design of the shop is also nice. Got one of their best selling specialty coffee, which is a Flat White coffee from their espresso bar.
After lunch coffee last week with collegues. We visited Toby's Estate, quite an effort to go but I'm okay with it.
This time I had Flat White (P150), specialty coffee. Its mixture of coffee with chocolate. This one is served in a bigger cup❤ Enjoyed this one, since coffee is a bit strong.

Verdict: Good dessert and quality coffee. Nice ambiance. Though I find it a bit pricey. Once in a while, its a nice place to visit and enjoy.

My friend requested to try something non-starbucks cafe for a change so we tried Toby's it's pricey because of the... several brews of coffee ☕️ fine but it tastes better I admit. Space is ok not so fancy
Coffee's good. Reminds of latte back home in Australia.
But they don't serve hot food until 8.30 or 9 am, the staff didn't seem to know when they can start making them.
Quite large and airy Toby's Estate outlet at Robinsons Cybergate Beta in Ortigas.
I got the Shrimp Salad sandwich consisting of sautéed chilled shrimp tossed and served on a bun. Very fresh tasting and quite a few shrimps in there. Also got the Patty Melt for my co-worker. Very nice sandwich of smashed burger patty, melted cheese and coleslaw in a bun. Excellent taste. I must say these are pretty good sandwiches - they take 15 mins to be served. Somewhat expensive at PHP 400-500 each - but well worth it, once in a while.

Go here for catch-ups with friends or first dates- the place is seemingly designed for people to interact, face-to-face. Unlike other coffee shops, Toby's have very limited power outlets and they don't offer free WiFi. But, man, is their coffee amazing. I love their flat white. And the fact that they serve Bucky's brownish too is just a deal-maker.
I had a slice of Calamansi Pie and Chai Latte. Unsurprisingly, the pie was incredibly sour and thankfully there's whipped cream on top to tone down the strong flavor. This was my first of the not-so-sweet pastry variety and it has its charisma, albeit differently.
Their coffee was authentic, good place to meet some friends and chill. The one they have in Shangrila ortigas is an open area, would have been better if its in a confined space.
A quick coffee fix from a very busy, routinary day at work. The place was haven - quiet and spacious. I love the wall art, the high ceiling and all about the interior. They also have outdoor seating.
I stayed with a friend for less than an hour but it was worth the squeeze in a busy work day. I see myself going back with a book in hand.
I am dying to try their pasta dishes or sandwiches with their brewed coffee. For the price of their drinks, not that bad. Good coffee indeed.

A place so nice and you wouldn't want to leave. This restaurant/cafe will leave you wanting more. My favorite was their Bruce Bogtrotter. This scintillating chocolate cake, oozing with flavor is simply a must have. I regret not trying their calamansi pie. I'm pretty sure it would most be amazing. The Vongole is not overpowering yet surprisingly tasteful. The bread is to die for and their Hot Choco is beyond words. I would most definitely come back here. The food is best shared with friends, pure laughs, pure joy, pure sumptuousness.

This was the first Toby's Estate legit branch I've stayed in, I mean when I say legit, it's because the other Toby's Estate I'd been to were small stalls or kiosks. Australia's leading coffee brand, Toby's Estate here is present in a different way in that it's got its own coffee shops. In Australia, at least based on what I saw in Sydney, it supplies coffee stores with their beans instead. That's why I was confused that the Toby's Estate presence that I saw there was in parasols (tents)--- the coffee shops themselves had different names. 🤔
Loving the vibe in this branch better than their newly opened BGC branch because it's more spacious and well designed. I'm always a fan of high ceiling coffee shops because there's more light and feels less cramped. Other elements that I liked in this branch,
> loving the space between tables (they can afford to add more chairs for a good 25 more people but they didn't which was cool),
> their white brick and overall bright appearance,
> nice modern art on the wall,
> clean wood furniture and copper light fixtures atop the big table

Had their long black for P120 (one size only for their one brewed coffee). Great tasting. Not super acidic, has a bit of a sourness and full flavor to it that I liked. Pretty good. 4/5

Vongole Pasta - oysters with linguine pasta, good quantity and AL Dente, but lacked flavor or saltiness so I had to ask for parmesan cheese. They did willingly give. But for P350, very pricey compared with mid- to upper- range Italian restaurants and even CBTL. I'll rate this just 3/5
Always impressive looking pastry bars, of which Toby's has around 8 variations, I picked the one with half fudge and half something else colored butterscotch (forgot the name). Each of these pastry bars is P120. Very moist, dense and sweet. 3.5/5
Service - very attentive, and they deliver to you the orders. Adding a cute placemat (cute coz of the board game like design with witty statements and coffee facts and other stuff), using wine bottles to serve water. Friendly cashiers. So not bad like some of the former reviews here so it seems they've improved which is great. 5/5

If you want a place to stay and review for exams, this is it. Super chill with dimmed lighting. There's a corner though with natural light. The entire ambiance would make you want to stay for long. The food and drinks were just average though.

My brother and I always grab a hot cup of coffee in any Toby's Estate branches and this,by far, is my favorite.
I ordered Mocha and TeeJay ordered hot chocolate. Their Mocha has just the right amount of sweetness, according to my preference, and you can really taste the espresso, chocolate and milk mixed altogether with a beautiful tulip latte art which was perfectly complimented with their bucky brownie.
The shop's ambience is urbanly designed yet comfy at the same time it is spacious than any other branches that's why you can invite your friends to come over and have fun while sipping state-of-the-art coffee.

I didn’t know that there’s a branch of Toby’s Estate in Ortigas area until my officemate told me about it. After a meeting, we headed there to grab a quick lunch. The shrimp salad sandwich had very generous servings of shrimp. The Brussel sprouts were a nice touch, although I found the brioche bun too heavy. Café Mocha, as usual, was amazing.
Hidden in a small road in Ortigas CBD we found Toby's Estate. Loved the flat white I ordered! Two thumbs up! (Not much the bucky though) Will definitely be back.

Toby's Estate always has very nice cafes! All the ones I've been have this modern but cozy ambiance.
I love their Chai Latte! My friend and I go to Toby's and we don't even bother to think of what we're having. The first choice is always Chai Latte. For me, it's the best one from all the ones I've tried.
For some time, they didn't have their Chai Latte and offered a Dirty Chai which featured their own concoction of chai syrup and an espresso shot. This was good too but it wasn't as comforting as my normal Chai Latte.
This March 2016, Toby's Estate in Ortigas, is on 20% off, after 6pm, on all their coffee-based drinks! Since I was here from 4pm onwards, I finally tried their Cappuccino. I don't really have a standard for cappuccino but I enjoyed this one and would definitely consider ordering it if the Chai Latte isn't available.
I also love that Bucky's partnered with Toby's and they offer a wide selection of buckies. I like Bucky's and when I don't need to a box of it but want to get my fix... I go to Toby's.
While waiting for your order, try reading their placemat. Hehehe!

I have long been curious about Toby's Estate. Today, while running some errands, I decided to satisfy my curiosity and dropped by the branch nearest to my home.
The place has a very clean and modern feel, with an open layout, warm lighting and minimalist decor. Soft pop music is piped in at the background but not so loud as to disrupt conversations or disturb those who are reading or just hanging out.
I ordered a mocha which I found quite good: the chocolate is rich and the espresso is full-flavored, both aspects complement ine another. It is masterfully served with latte foam art. I would have liked it a bit hotter, though.
Update: I recently tried the calamansi cheesecake. It's unusual and tasty but quite pricey.
Final meeting for the day and ended up being at one of the most favorite flat white coffee provider in metro manila which is Toby's :)
This place is in a pretty good location and I heard can tend to get pretty busy at times. Luckily today it was not, so more peaceful for our meeting.
At first I ordered the awesome Flat White which was as perfect as possible with the mixture of coffee and milk and then later I wanted something cold ice tea like, so the best recommendation was the Goji Melon and this was also pretty awesome. Not to strong in the sugar as sadly many iced tea are and perfect fruity taste. Again another highly recommended ice tea drink and this time now from Toby's
I know a score of 5 means perfect but for me the great coffee and consistency is worthy of this score. Any time I visit for a coffee it is always very good and service always friendly. As an Aussie we are very fussy about our espresso and generally don't like (sweet but weak) Starbucks/Coffee Bean blends.
The Ortigas Branch is also a good size so easy to get a table and order some great pasta or brunch along with your coffee.
The only negative is lack of wifi :(
Attributed with starting the Metro's third wave of coffee shop culture thanks to the likes of independent coffee shops in the vicinity of Salcedo & Legaspi Village in Makati. These early movers and shakers didn't just caffeinate the neighbourhood, they changed the way we understood the whole coffee experience, providing information, education, and relaxation for customers.
Toby's emphatically source the best green coffee beans of the tropics, roast them with precision into the varying blends of their award winning flat white coffee (which a number of the other top coffee shops use), train baristas to pull damn fine espresso and top it all off with inspired latte art. The café is spacious, engaging and clean, the staff friendly and focused, making devotees of east enders with every delicious drop.
The best part of these third wave cafés is how helpful and unpretentious all of the baristas are in explaining how coffee should taste and the various ways it can be prepared.
The coffee was delicious and on par with what I get back home in the US. My fiancé and I tried two of the waffles: the bacon, pecan, and maple syrup as well the strawberry, mango, almonds, and whipped cream waffles. We preferred the later as it was sweet and filling. If you love Belgian waffles and coffee this is a nice spot to cure your craving. ☕️
I had coffee here with an office mate for official meeting in a relaxed ambiance. Coffee was good with excellent coffee art on the milk froth.
I enjoyed every sip from my ceramic cup and got a strong kick of caffeine.
Would come back for their coffee and the good ambience. As for the sandwiches, I found them a bit overpriced - the classic chicken sandwich I had was at more than 300php however I think there's nothing special about the taste. Got to try also Bruce Bogtrotter (the chocolate cake) and got mixed feelings about it. The chocolate icing is creamy and indulgent, while the cake has a weird texture to it.
I think, the reason why I love Toby's Estate is because unlike the other coffee shops, it always maintain its uniformity. What do I mean, all of the branches does their coffee the right way or the Toby's way. Also, their Wafels (that's how they spelled it) was very great! And the ambiance of the Ortigas branch is very corporate -- formal yet cozy and quiet.
I tried here just to chill before starting the workweek. This place did not disappoint me. The place is very cozy unlike other overrated coffee shops which are already crowded with a group of noisy customers. The place is full of art with a lot of little intricate details. Even their paper mat has something to interesting to read. I ordered hot mocha and it tastes average but I loved the swan art on it. The service is good, the time when I sat, a crew already served a glass of water with a pitcher while I'm waiting for my coffee. I'll definitely go back here to try their flat white coffee and pastries.
I just have to try the new "chill" out place near my work place. The place looks really cozy and very edgy with the splash of creative design and architecture. Nice rustic ambience. Coffee's great but the place just adds flavor to your cup. I tried their Rigatoni and the classic mocha, seemed off for a combo but sits just fine for the palate. A nice nook for people who wanted to have a good place for conversations.

Looking from the outside, I thought that it was just an ordinary coffee shop but I was totally wrong when I entered the place. Indeed, it is more than a coffee shop for me.
The interior of the place is really cool and awesome. Little things will capture your attention just like the little details that you can see in the table as well as the wall painting that is really warming to the eyes of the customers.
The place is way beyond cool. You'll be comfortable having small talk with your friends or love ones or even work in the place.
We ordered that cool tasting bucky's which is a lot like brownie but even better, and that refreshing Iced Tea Goji Melon. I'm really excited for my next visit to try on their foodies.
A place raved about, a secret that is screaming to be told. That was how Toby's Estate a few months back. It broke the ceiling glass for how coffee shops should be. Top shelf coffe and pastries matched with excellent service is the pride of the this place. Great breakfast menus and sandwiches gives this place an Australian flavor - the Traviatta is great for breakfast. Grilled four cheese is perfect for lunch. The chewy oatmeal cookie or choco croissant goes well with their flat white coffee. Plus it's a conducive for business meetings.

Your weekend brew.
Toby's Estate is definitely a place to visit on a weekend. They have great interior design in their Ortigas branch. The place is cozy and relax though most of their customers when we visited one Saturday were mostly foreign students with their laptops and big books.
Their coffee is really good. They also serve pasta, sandwiches, snacks and cakes.
Overall the place and the service is very prompt and nice.

With its name you wouldn't think that its a coffee shop. The place was packed when we got there. Nice and cozy place. Its a cafe but its ambiance is far from the starbucks, coffee bean feel. For one, the interiors, two, their menu, and three, their service.
Price is fair. Drink is very good! Wasnt able to try their food.

I tried out this coffee shop one day, on the way to work. I learned about this place through blogs I've read over the internet. I ordered their long black coffee.
The coffee I ordered was good, flavorful and aromatic. Also, it had the right amount of heat, unlike other coffee shops that serve scalding hot coffee. I found it a bit expensive, though. I was supposed to order café mocha but it was a little bit over the budget. I also wasn't able to order since it was a bit over the budget too.
The place was okay. Since it was early in the morning when I dropped by, there were only a few people inside. I also loved the interiors of the place. The staff were also nice and accomodating. I'd go back to this place anytime I'm in the area. :)
Recently i've been going around searching for a good third wave coffee place. Toby's Estate sure has nice interiors and it will surely set the mood for you to work or just enjoy their coffee. The design is modern minimalist partnered with wall art.

This branch is just beside our office building so this is my one of my go-to places whenever I need to grab something to eat. I love their Buckies and Chunky Blonde although they are a bit pricey. There are also times when it takes time for them to serve those items which are already on display. I am interested to try their calamansi pie but I think it is too overpriced.
Grab a flat white if you're looking for strong coffee that's just not overkill and that's smooooth. Place is sufficiently secluded from the mess and the noise.
The closest coffee stop from my place. It's ambience very inviting. Although not a fan of their unhealthy comfort food selections, I do drop by for their tomato soup, salads and when tempted to indulge their brownies.
Had a nice flat white and a pastry (for to go) last week. Staff was very accommodating and the coffee and food were good. The place is very nice as well.

Quite pricey for an ordinary dinner but the quality of the sandwiches were worth it.

We were walking around the hood in search for dessert. Trooped to Toby's to have some Bucky's. The pieces were huge, siksik and very filling. Sakto lang the sweetness of the Bucky's Original.
Toby's seems like a chill hangout spot. We have yet to try the coffee and food. We found it weird though that it took them 7 minutes to serve us that one piece of which was already on display.
The place boasts a nice interior and a relaxing ambiance. I love its color scheme- white walls, black for its counter, earth tones for its furniture and green for its tiles. I would love to go back here again not just for its interior but also for its coffee.
I ordered flat white which was served in a cup and had less froth. It was good. It matched well with the blonde chunk. It seemed to have a tough exterior but relatively easy to eat.

A tiring day after buying something in the mall, I decided to have some coffee at Toby Estate. I am really thankful they opened a branch in Ortigas. It is located in the not so busy street of Ruby Road in Ortigas Center.
Most of their customers are employees from different corporate companies near by. Maybe it depends on the time but the place is packed with people when I dined in. The smoking area has only few tables. Their lighting is very dim, just perfect for a coffee shop. They have Bruno Mars playlist playing the whole time I'm there. Their pastries are limited. They also offer breakfast, salads, belgian waffles, sandwiches, juices and tea. I was about to order a cup of coffee since I heard they really offer great selections of coffee, but since I felt really tired from the mall and the weather was too hot, I wanted to have something cold instead. They don't have blended drinks but the barista suggested their smoothie since it's new to their menu. So I tried their Arctic Mocha. It's super tasty! You really could feel its creaminess up to the last sip! I am looking forward on how their hot coffee tasted since they really have great smoothie! And no wonder the place is always packed!
I love the place. Very relaxing even though it is packed with people. The service was great, their staff was friendly. Everything is almost perfect but they don't have Wi-Fi connection. So if you're not that "Starbucks ambiance" kinda person, you better try Toby Estate. Highly recommended!
I love their interiors. Very minimalist and clean. I've been to all branches and I must say, the one in Ortigas is my favorite. It is very spacious and conducive for meetings or simply just having me-time. 😊
I always order their light and sweet chai latte, which is unlike the other chai lattes I've tried. It has a blend of different flavors from all over the world which gives it its very interesting flavor. I also look forward to the different designs they would create in my drink. Thumbs up for Toby's Estate! More branches to come!

I can't imagine how many folks who live and or work in Ortigas Center were relieved when they found out that Toby's just opened in the area. If I am not mistaken, this is the largest branch right now and guess what, it gets full on peak hours.
Toby's serves amazing coffee (among the top 3 in Manila) and don't you dare think Starbucks. Try their cold brew if it's really warm outside. Otherwise, I get the Long Black.
They have food now and while it tastes good, it's really expensive. Sorry to say but while I enjoyed the burger, I did not enjoy paying P450 for it. Go ahead and try the waffles and pastries though! I think those are at the right price.
The interiors are great, they have a few art pieces on the walls, my favorite of which sort of makes fun of the corporate way of living - or maybe that's just me. It's just funny because most of the people who go here work in offices in the area. Bathroom's really clean too.
The staff here are all accommodating and smile all the time. Don't forget to ask questions especially about coffee. They might even teach you a thing or two.
To summarize - Toby's is the place to go for coffee in Ortigas Center but choose what food you order!
Awesome coffee, can't go past a latte each morning. Breakfast is rustic and delish. Nice to have little bit of Melbourne/Sydney in Ortigas :)
I've been seeing a lot of Instagram posts about this coffee place so I decided to visit the nearest branch from me, which is in Ortigas. The place was good for studying and for small gatherings & meetups.
I happened to order the Chai Chocolate for the sake of trying something new & different and I was surprised to find it really good! It is pricey tho but I'm definitely going to come back for it one of these days! Perhaps, I'll try their coffees next time!
I love coffee shops who spend on interior design aside from quality beans for their coffee. The white brick walls and wooden-inspired chairs and these genie bottles of green and lavender give off the good vibe of something wonderful. ?? and oh please order FLAT WHITE and have it sweetened as liquid syrup is better than brown sugar (it takes time to dissolve it in your coffee).

Place: Good location, right in the middle of the business district. We had a meeting here, so it was easy to locate. We liked the furnitures, table is hardwood. Its more classy and fancy but good in a way that you won't be intimidated
Ambiance: Cozy and Quiet and perfect for a meeting. Serious tone.
Drinks: I ordered Chai Tea Latte. A high class version than the usual Starbucks and the likes. I love it, its pure flavor and tasteful.
Serving time: 5-10mins. Its good.
Price: Reasonable - Credit cards are accepted so its a plus.
How can you drink this hot choco? The design is too cute that you'll regret drinking it. Peaceful place perfect for meeting and studying. (2015)
