Initially, I was disappointed at the slow service at Maria's, that it came to a point that my hunger had already passed. When my orders arrived, I no longer had any desire to eat, and spent a great time smoking outside. The owner of Maria's came to my table when I came back to gather my things and pay, and apologized for my displeasure, and gave me a free meal. Kudos for looking after your customers. Thank you.
Dishes are flavorful and good but not too expensive, place is cozy and tidy. You also get a friendly server on the floor Faiz, Definitely a place to hang around.

An aftershift go-to place when some friend from the office wanted to have some drinks.
Their space seems a bit too cramped but we're lucky enough to go here during off peak hours. The price of their food and drink are quite affordable. I personally like their fish and chicken basket, Amaretto sour and Mojito and when it comes to rice meal, I think their Kare-kare is ok as well as their Pinakbet--since they didn't overcooked the veggies (maybe they can just add up a little on their servings).
Nearest place to get good Filipino food. We usually order pork sinigang and that can be shared by 2-3 persons. Price is affordable but place is too small and sometimes, aircon is not working.
All time favorite Lechon Kawali Kare-Kare 👌
For me it was the best kare-kare in town with the delicious sauce, alamang and Crispy Lechon Kawali. 😍 Can't wait to go back!

Maria’s is now one of my go-to places for home-cooked meals on a weekday lunch. Had these items on separate occasions.
▫️ Maria’s Crispy Homemade Bacon (Php 160)
After being so excited about bacon for lunch, I was a little disappointed that their serving had 1-2 slices only. It’s tastier and more flavorful than the processed ones but I felt bitin.
▫️ Sinigang na Baboy (Php 330)
I didn’t know that one order of this can already serve 3 people. We were only two who shared this one so imagine all of the meat we ate. I liked that their meat portions has more lean meat than fat. But I expected a more sour sinigang. I hope they ask the customers’ preference next time.
▫️ Pork Belly Binagoongan (Php 180)
Of all the dishes I’ve tried, this is probably my favorite. Their serving is more generous than the bacon. The meat is similar to the sinigang - more lean meat than fat. I liked how their version of binagoongan is not super salty and the bagoong taste is not the type that lingers on your mouth.
I’d likely go back and try more traditional Filipino dishes here.
Great ambiance. Good place for dates without spending too much money on food and experience. They offer Filipino food with a bit of twist in each dish and I think that's a delight.
There is also a bar for people who just want to visit for drinks. So if you want to treat yourself or someone for a high-end feeling but is not far from a homey Filipino food, I think Maria's is a place to go to.
I've dined in thrice with my friends and they never failed us. The food is good and price is reasonable. They serve it hot & fresh, so you have to wait for 15-30 minutes depending on your order. It's worth waiting for. You should try the breaded squid and the sisig. These are my favorite.
If you wanted to go alone and chill, Maria's is the absolute place I would recommend. Plus factor is the resto opens 24 hours, and has a wifi accessible to all diners.

So, my dad and I arrived way too early in Ortigas before our respective shifts for work. Since this place is open and serves non-fast food breakfast, we randomly decided to eat here first before heading to work.
I must say I love the ambiance. Not much crowd so you can have a peaceful conversation over breakfast, music is not too loud as well. As for the food, loved I loved their rice and malasadong egg. Although I loved what my dad ordered more. He had salted egg (which is one of my faves!). The price is also reasonable so I probably would go back here anytime, given the chance. 😊
Great food and services. Try their laing and kare kare or all of the dishes (all tasty). The prices are fair enough for the experince. We always eat here, 3 times a month to taste all food in the menu and so far no disappointment.

We ordered the following types of food in the menu: pakbet, laing, fried rice, bulalo and chicken.
If you want to save money, it would be better to buy food for sharing. I must say all were delicious, especially the laing. Too bad our food were served late than usual.
The place looks normal for a Filipino restaurant. They might need to install additional exhaust fans because the smell of food reaches the dining area. It also makes the temperature warmer.
Regarding the service, the waiters were friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay because of the food.
I have never actually dined here before. I used to go here for drinks, thinking that their food is expensive. I was surprised to find out that their food is actually affordable. We ordered buttered chicken, home-made bacon, vegetable kare-kare, peppered beef with corn, and bangus belly. The highlight would definitely be the kare-kare.

It's a chill place situated in the heart of Pasig's business district something I like.
Great place for home cooked meal in the middle of a commercial business district. Food and service is great. Their meal comes with soup and extra rice upon request. Expect big screen tv's and loud music. Caters to call center agents. Place is nice and they have their own restroom.
Limited table but enough for some customers during our visit.

We had Crispy Beef Lumpia - a tad greasy, but tastes fresh and good. Laing with Tinapa Salinas - nice smoky fish and decent Laing. Kare-kareng Gulay- steamed veggies with a big dollop of kare kare sauce - was good too.
Maria's was a surprise. I didn't expect much from the restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food. Try their beef tapa! One of the better tapas in the area. The staff are very accommodating too. The music was a bit too loud for me but it was a Friday night so it was understandable.
Best BBQ chicken sandwich and faiz makes the best calamansi juice !!! 🤗 also the spicy garlic chicken wings were a real treat everything was delish ! And plus side it's open 24 hours !! Amazing lil gem !
We decided to eat out after work and since we are night shift that time, not a lot of restaurants are open early in the morning. It's a good thing that we found this 24-hour restaurant in Ortigas named Maria's, home to authentic Filipino comfort food.
When we were checking the menu, we saw the Street Food Platter #1 which includes Chicharon Bulaklak, Crispy Pork Isaw, Inihaw Chicken Ass and Breaded Egg. Without any hesitation, we ordered the platter for 390php and it did not disappoint. I love the Chicharon Bulaklak and the Chicken Isaw. Their rice for sharing also tastes good. We ordered Maria's Fried Rice for 220php, Bicol Express Rice and Gambas Rice for 230php. It has a generous serving for 2-3 people. We also ordered Ginataang Sitaw & Kalabasa w/Hipon for 230php and Crunchy Lechon Sisig for 280php.
Excellent chix wings. Good value for money. Unpretentious neighborhood bar perfect for last minute decisions to get a buzz and eat some good food on the side. It's not fine dining. But you're not being asked to pay an arm and a leg anyway.

Their take on classic Filipino breakfast favorites, is commendable. Also, it can never be too early in the morning or late at night to get your grilled-food fix.

Surprisingly delightful resto that just opened in sta Lucia east mall. Love the simple ambiance and non complex food they have in their menu. The price points are also very affordable
All Filipino favorite foods are here .From breakfast to dinner, pulutan and meryienda. Entertainment includes 42 inch TV playing your fav sport or movies while dining. Local and imported alcoholic drinks is also available 24/7.
Nice breakfast place. Easily fills up during lunch time so if I want to eat here, I usually go for brunch or really really late lunch. Try their lechon kawali with pinakbet. My staple appetizer is the lumpiang toge. Really nice when paired with a cold glass of light beer! The people are quite accommodating too- tho sometimes they forget things (happened to me at least twice) so you have to remind them about your order sometimes. This is one of the places where I'd have lunch with officemates. Good place, but beware- they show basketball games here most times. So if you want quality time with guy friends, don't take them here. They'll be distracted! Haha.
My friend who works in Ortigas recommended this place. We were about to watch a movie in Rob Galle for a 10pm showing and the restaurants inside the mall are already almost closing (it was almost 9pm).
On the place: This is just walking distance from Rob Galle and it's conveniently open for 24 hours.
On the service: The staff was nice and waiting time was not that long.
On the food: We had this kare-kare and bagoong rice (very generous serving). Honestly, coming in, I thought that I was already full from an earlier meal but when I tasted the bagoong rice topped with bacon (!!!!), I started getting more and more. The kare-kare's meat was lechon kawali and the crispiness was just spot on. #PutokBatok
Overall, I'd say a go-to place if you're looking for a quality place which serves Filipino dishes. I would definitely go back here (if it's my cheat day haha).
Ordered the pork tocino and a mango juice. It was soooo good. The staff is really nice, like all filipinos, and the place had a nice decoration and vibe. Then it turned into a bar with nice music and lights.
I've been to Maria's twice already and on both times, I enjoyed my time eating and relaxing superbly.
First, there wasn't too much people to serve so the crew gets your order and returns with food fastly. The interior is woodsy and calming; there're two TVs turned on so you won't get impatient waiting for your food to come.
Also, they serve authentic mouth-watering Filipino cuisine. I always order a side of ensalada of maalat na itlog with kamatis and sibuyas. This is to comeback for and they have free soup and free extra rice if you order a rice meal.
Try their rice meals. The Pakbet with Lechon Kawali is excellent. Serving size is good for the money, at least until their promo pricing ends. A bit noisy ambiance but enjoyable place
Another place for comfort food around Ortigas Center. Maria's boasts a wide selection of Pinoy comfort food and drinks at a relatively cheaper price. The staff are accommodating, though they do get rattled when the place is filled up.

It's first day of the year and hunting restos nearby is tougher than ever. Usually on Sundays it's like this since it is a business district.
It's my second stop in Maria. They are open 24 hours serving breakfast, lunch, merienda, dinner but serving the same things hehe.
I had this dish twice in two occasions and last time had the Bangus Belly which I loved but not as much as I did with this dish. I love anything with coconut and this one did not disappoint. The serving size is good for 2-3 and affordable for Php 220.
For a safe Filipino experience on an okay ambience this is not a bad pick at all. Come by! It's very new :)
