After trying out almost everything in their menu and ordering tons of their US angus steak, it's definitely value for money for our group. I didn't actually know that they now offer this order all you can setup not until one of our friends mentioned about it for our get together. Highlight of the night was their US angus steak. Meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. Everyone in our group enjoyed it. We also tried most of their maki but I liked two of them which I can't help but have more. I can't remember the names but they have cream cheese in it. Their sukiyaki was also super good. Also their fried rice, flavorful and definitely of good quality. Drink was unlimited too.
For me, it's definitely a good experience to try as dishes were of good quality.

We availed of their eat all you can promo of 1088 per head inclusive of drinks. We weren't planning on having eat all you can but seeing the menu and whats included on the promo we decided to go with it.

The eat all you can includes sashimi, sushi, rolls, tempura, rice, appetizers and a lot more. They make the food as you order it so everything is fresh. You can also request to be seated at the teppanyaki table and be entertained by the chefs.
Food is top notch. Just sad that the service becomes inconsistent once that there are more people. But overall, it was a good experience

Previously, Ogetsu Hime is a Japanese restaurant that offers a wide variety of premium US and Japanese Beef. Much to our surprise, they already offer an “eat all you can” at a price of 1088 inclusive of drinks.
The restaurant is located at SM Megamall, this lavish restaurant can seat up to 150++ guests. The restaurant is very well lit and decorated, with chandeliers installed in almost every table. There are also teppanyaki tables wherein guests can comfortable sit and have their orders cooked in front of them.
We ordered the following:

3. Ebi - steamed shrimp
4. Shake - norwegian salmon sashimi
5. Roru gyuniku - US beef roll with spring onions

I really appreciate that the food is not set-up as a buffet, but made-to-order, to guarantee the freshness of the food. You can also control the quantity being served.
To be honest, me and my husband find this eat-all-you-can cheap, since the food is really of good quality, and the taste is really authentic Japanese. Our personal favorite is the SHAKE KABUTONI - we really didn’t expect that the salmon head was big, the dish was not overcooked, and it very flavorful.
We will definitely recommend this to our friends!
Recommended buffet for sushi lovers, you have so many choices for sushi’s. Also their tenderloin is 100% a must try. What I also love about here is that you were just sitting and order what you want. Hmm will definitely come back.
Super sulit ng unli lunch buffet. Bilang first customer, got there just a bit after 11am so mabilis dumating ang orders, sunod sunod perfect. Sana nga nag add na lang ako ng another 100 for rib eye :) next time ulit! salamat din sa staff :) matagal lang talaga dumating eh ung edamame. thank u!

Ogetsu Hime offers authentic and the best of japanese cuisine. Who doesn't love Jap food? Sashimi, tempura, teppanyaki, premium sushi, name it! They have it all here! 😊😋 They have I guess 2 branches here in Manila. One in Aura and in Megamall. We visited the Megamall branch as they offer an Eat All U Can promo which we really enjoyed! Super sulit! 👌❤
FOOD: Believe me, you really can't say no to every dishes they have in their menu. Oh well, because Jap food is my favourite.. I really made the most of it! Haha! All authentic! The best! Oishiiii! 😉😋
SERVICE: Staffs are very attentive to all of our orders and they serve food real fast!
PLACE: The place is huge and we really loved it since we were seated in the teppan area and the chef let us try the "Egg challenge". Lol! 😂 You will feel the japanese vibe throughout your stay.
PRICE: Very affordable as you can enjoy all of the japanese dishes in their menu without limit for just 988 for Lunch and 1088 for dinner. So cheap right? 👌

The food is good. My fave is the karai aburi ebi maki. My only complaint with the place is sometimes its hard to call a waiter when the place is busy. Also, the price of the buffet keeps going up even when the quality goes down. Started with 888 then 988 then 1088 now i think. Before @888 ribeye was included in the buffet now you have to add 100 for it. Also the ebi teppanyaki and uni sashimi has been removed. Even the karai wasn't as delicious as the last time

I've been here for 2 times already, and here's a tip: order a lot when you start! Their service time is a bit long so chances are you'd lose your appetite when there's a long downtime of the food coming. The first time that I went here with my family, we did not feel like it was sulit at all as we felt like half of the time we spent there was us waiting for the food to be served and we kinda just felt like we got full na as we were waiting. The second time though, we ordered a lot when we came in there and it was honestly sulit na. The food tasted great, plus the overall offerings of Ogetsu was just worth it. There were a bit of mishaps though when we ordered (i.e some of the orders did not make it na and I feel like it was due to the flurry of orders coming in and it overwhelmed the waiters. But just remind them and they'll serve it naman as soon as they can!)
Overall: would really recommend this place, especially for those who are a fan of japanese food. ❤

Had the Eat All You Can plus an upgrade of the Angus beef ribeye. Food was great. Service was good but they tend to be overwhelmed as the place gets crowded, delayed food and mixed up orders. But still they deliver. The Sukiyaki though was very salty but the rest of the food was good.
I love there Buffet!!! Very Fresh quality of ingredients from sashimi to there tenderloin beef...service was fantabolous!!! Inspite of full house...cant wait for my next visit...
I had a great food experience with their buffet! It was really delicious and flavorful. The ribeye and tenderloin that was stir fried by the chef in front of us was tender. The maki and sushi are great! I also love their tempura! Thumbs up Ogetsu!
I've been here twice in just a few days! I looove it so much! They offer eat all you can for 988 each (additional 100 if you'd like to include prime rib eye). The tenderloin is superb! Just a piece of advice, if youre gonna eat here during their promo which is until the end of June 2019, try to make up your mind of which food you wanted to try like make a list then order it all at once bacause some food might take really longer to be served on your table; but the wait is worthy of your time, plus the crew were very polite and attentive...I would love to return.

We wanted to try as many dishes as possible to really get a feel for their menu.
Our personal favorites were:
Angus Rib eye - Tender and well fried. Remember to ask for their steak sauce!
Angus tenderloin - Again nothing to complain about. Like that it came with lots of garlic. Again, remember the steak sauce.
Shake Sushi - I always try the salmon first at new sushi places and this one did not dissapoint. Fatty and rich of flavour.

We tried several dishes from Ogetsu and got really satisfied! It’s as if we travelled back to Japan. Ogetsu Prime Rib Eye & Ogetsu Prime Tenderloin are a must-try! Those were tender and cooked to perfection in front of you. We got the A4 Beef for free if you reached a certain amount... it was so tender and tasty! Also, not in the picture, their California Roll is tasty with generous amount of mango. Their hotategai or scallops are big and cooked perfectly. Their seafood fried rice has a generous amount of fish, prawns, and veggies. Good thing their fried rice is not too oily! All in all, we were satisfied and got really happy with the food. Plus, the staff are very attentive and friendly.
We got their karai ebi aburi maki, the oyako shake roll, and their matsusaka chahan. The karai ebi aburi maki was quite nice, very flavorful though a bit rich with the inclusion of cream cheese. Their maki rolls are only 4 pieces, though they are a big four pieces. The oyako shake roll didn't really do it for me, it lacked flavor and the salmon kind of just disappears in it. The chahan was great, though i wouldn't know how much better the matsusaka chahan is from their regular chahan.
A very pricey place to go, but there are some good things at okay prices if you know what to go for.
Availed their 50% off on their matsukasa beef. I liked their tamago, uni temaki (not too fishy!), tempura (really enjoyed this!) and tuna sashimi. Their eel was not bad too. The beef was good, however it was too fatty for my stomach to handle... 😭 (i ate more than my dad because he's not allowed to eat much fatty food). I now understood why they sell it in 100 grams...
Nevertheless, it was good. For me, it's best seasoned with their japanese salt. No need to dip in their sauce.
Staff was really accommodating. Gave us their membership card for free to avail of their discounts on that transaction. Since our bill reached a certain amount, we got a free 100g wagyu beef, cooked on top of a hot stone. That beef was meatier than what we originally ordered, so that one I enjoyed more. :)
Prices are a bit high though.
It is here where i first felt food literally melt in my mouth. The fatty tuna its amazing. A bit pricey, but it is worth it. We've also tried the A4 beef. It is very tender and flavorful. Again, most of the items here are a bit higher than average. So, prepare your wallets.
Taste 5; Service 5; ambience 4; price 3. Food is not overly spiced or marinated and that’s what Japanese food should be - fresh tasting. The Matsusaka beef is to die for. We had it steamed and also on a stone. We were scared that the food would be bland because the thinky sluce beef was just steamed over veggies, and the server also did not even salt the one grilled over the hot stone. But was it excellent and though there were lots of dipping sauces, i just enjoyed it with salt and pepper. Servers were very polite and attentive. My only issue is that if you want to try Matsusaka beef, prepare to spend P1500 per person. I found the cuts or serving (100 grams) a bit small, but it’s just right since the beef is fatty. Anyway, there seems to be a promo on Matsusaka beef always, dont come here and not order it.

Out of all that we ordered, i like most their salmon. Definitely fresh. Their servings are quite decent. Price was okay - you pay the kind of food and service you want.
Place/Staff: comfy seats, large space, accommodating staff
Food: Shake Rayu(salmon) was fresh with a hint of spicy sauce and scallions and tempura bits. Soft and melts in your mouth unagi. Their own twist on the california maki(tokubetsu) was a HIT for us with the tasty blending of flavors and added avocado. Rainbow batera(maki) was a bit disappointing despite having different types of toppings and sauces, might be due to overwhelming rice. Chahan moriawase (fried rice) was good with a variety of ingredients that tasted just right. Roru gyuniku was also a big HIT with us due to the blending of the sweetness of the sauce with the thinly sliced beef wrapped on spring onions.
Accommodating servers, good ambiance (cold inside the resto) but most importantly exceptional food! The best sellers from their specialty rolls is a MUST try! Also their tempura, sashimi, and udon. Went here on my birthday and they gave me free ice cream 😊 Would definitely come back 💙
Been here several times it’s our favorite Japanese dining place whenever we’re in Megamall. A4 and A5 Matsuzaka Gyu Stone Grill, The Fresh Sashimi’s must try!
I always say this that the measure for me of a good japanese resto is if they have fresh and quality Hamachi and Salmon. This place is on my list. There is a 50% discount in some of the items that are really good in value. Tenderloin and Tori (thigh part) will be the ideal choice for your teppan. The side vegetables they serve was really good too. Service is really good. Kudos to PJ one of the managers. Oh will be back soon!

The sashimi were all very fresh. I ordered a variant of spicy salmon and it tasted really good. The teppan beef I ordered was the matsusaka beef, A4 one. SUUUPER tender and fatty! Definitely have this for sharing kasi nakakaumay siya hehe
We also ordered the sukiyaki and it’s one of the best sukiyaki I’ve tasted in the PH. They cook it authentically. Cook the meat (matsusaka beef, A4) first then the vegetables and add the soup. Super good! They are currently having a promo on this, so you gotta try! Also, we were 4 people so my dad ordered an extra order of the beef so we could have 2 pcs each.
They also have a good selection of makis. My sister ordered the one with grilled chicken and it was very unique and delish!
Would definitely love to go back here and try their other offerings.
This will always be my comfort zone in Japanese dining. Great ambiance, friendly staff and out of this world, delicious Japanese food. This place is worth splurging your money. Never fails to amaze me. I will always look forward of having my tummy filled here.
Food is really good. You know that they use good quality ingredients, that’s why taste is amazing! The place is very clean and staff is excellent! Price is surprisingly affordable specially the food serving is generous. Best of all NO SERVICE CHARGE that’s why you can’t help yourself but give good tip because of their hard work! We’ll surely come back for more!

But if it's your first time in Ogetsu Hime, make sure to try their high-grade beef. A little heavy on the budget, but every cent is worth every bite of that very tender, heavenly cube of beef that melts in your mouth.🐄
We just didn't appreciate the noise that the chef makes while doing his cooking exhibitions. It lowered the quality of the dining experience a bit.

We found another new japanese restaurant. It was a bit intimidating as this one is on the high end side of the menu price range. What made us decide to dine here is to get the taste of their Matsusaka Beef. During our visit, they offered 50% discount on it. So we splurge a little bit and dove in.
For the price of the food, it didn't disappoint. Instead of ordering ramen which were priced at Php400, we opted for the bento kind which carried a higher price. As I said, they didn't disappoint. Along with good taste, they offered great presentation. We were also treated to a good show from their resident chef. Although Filipino, he was great at handling the Teppanyaki grill.
The Matsusaka Beef was fantastic. So soft, succulent, juicy, the chef made it into your preference. I had mine at medium rare and he really nailed it. If given another chance I would love to take another crack at it.
Their yakiniku or skewered items was great. The rolls we ordered were exceptional. The fried rice was prepared also using the teppanyaki grill in front of us and what else can I say? We had a great time with this joint.
I enjoyed their Kochukara Maguro (spicy tuna sashimi) a lot! It’s one of their best dishes in my opinion. Their Unagi is good too although it’s a bit expensive. Overall, service is okay and food is great!

We will definitely be back, practicing a little more restraint.
We started with the Ogetsu Hime salad (not pictured here) which my husband and I finished under 2 minutes. Jumped on the chance to order a very decadent Ogetsu Chawan,which is Chawan Mushi topped with Uni ( SeaUrchin ) and Foie Gras. Every mouthful was orgasmic.
This was followed by Hototegai ( scallops ) Teppanyaki. The scallops were huge but not as sweet as their smaller Filipino counterpart. Perfectly cooked though.
And the piece de resistance was the Matsusaka Teppanyaki. Check out the marbling on that beautiful piece of beef. Melt in your mouth goodness. We had a side of the prime rib eye as well just to make sure it was the cooking and not the beef quality that made it good. Both were excellent.
Overall, it was a fantastic, albeit too decadent meal.
We could have done without the fancy teppan cooking but we had a young birthday celebrant next to us.
Kudos to the wait staff as well. From the moment we were ushered in to the bar, transferred to Teppanside, we were always taken care of. And this was during lunch with very heavy traffic.

Food : 4/5 They have a wide food options. But they are famous for the "Matsusaka" beef and this is one of the many reasons why we've been wanting to dine in here. And it didn't disappoint. You can choose from 2 types of beef; the A4 and A5. We recommend the A5 type because it is really more tender and has more fats. We tried both and we find the A4 kind "malitid". Aside from their prime beef selection, their sashimi is also to die for. It's really fresh and their wasabi is the authentic wasabi root, not the paste or powder kind.
Ambiance: 4/5 The place was cozy but it could become a little bit noisy because of the Benihana style cooking arrangement where the chef will cook in front of you and do some tricks. But you could choose not to seat there and that's what we chose. ;)
Service : 5/5 THEY DON'T HAVE A SERVICE CHARGE! But they have a wonderful service. The whole crew was observant and always attentive to the customers' needs. They are also knowledgeable of their products. Their Japanese chef is also visible and very courteous. He makes sure that the guests are well attended to.

Highlight is the Matsusaka Beef. We had the Teppanyaki which tasted succulent and flavorful. Also had the beef roll with spring onion. The roll was really good.
Matsusaka Chahan- fried rice with bits of beef was good too.
Maguro Ryu makes a great appetizer if you like tuna. Really fresh bluefin tuna.
Since Kimpura in Greenhills is closed. This is a great alternative. I enjoyed my dinner here. The rainbow rolls are a good choice, I always order that. We had the tonkatsu and tempura and some other rolls. The ambiance was great and its not so crowded which is good coz noisy restaurants arent really enjoyable. Pricing was good not too expensive but not cheap. One order of rolls is good for one person already, you can order one each and just share. Its filling enough and tasty. Only thing is no good desserts but you can walk around after dinner and find a good place to get some.

Worth every centavo. It was as if I was back in Japan and every meal was better than the last. Spicy tuna roll, gyoza, steak, sashimi, all fantastic. Would definitely be back for more.
The Hamachi Sashimi and Uni Sahimi is top class!!! It can be a bit expensive but its worth every penny.. Eat by the bar if you are eating alone to really enjoy and feel like your in Osaka.. ❤

Say hello to one of the newest restos in town. They've gone all out in terms of their marketing, I see posters all over SM Megamall. Not only that they've got 50% off a lot of their dishes which gave me more reason to try this place out.
They are famous for their Matsusaka Beef which is one of the best beef out there!!!!! Be prepared to shell out a lot of money because this one doesn't come cheap at all. I have tried the Matsusaka Beef myself on my recent trip to Osaka. I super loved it and it was unlike any other beef I've ever eaten. Upon hearing that it is available back at home, it made me all the more excited to savor its goodness once again.
To be honest, the beef tasted quite different from what I had in Osaka. The beef was not as soft as I wanted it to be and it was not as flavorful on its own as well, you had to dip it into the sauce that they gave so it made me think twice if what I had was even the great Matsusaka Beef. We had 6 slices for a thousand bucks. Woah and that was already 50% off!
Aside from the beef, we also had Pork Gyoza, Fried Rice, Enoki Mushrooms with Bacon. All these were amazing! I really enjoyed these dishes and would come back for more! On top of that, I enjoyed watching the chefs at the teppanyaki! They were really skilled and amazing. Next time, be sure to request to be seated at the teppanyaki stations because it surely is worth it to watch them prepare your food!
The staff service was great. We were even offered the discount card which you could already use!
Good Japanese restaurant considering they are still in soft opening. We had their chirashi and appreciated the freshness of the sushi. The rice was the one drawback - it could still be a little less dry. The ebi tempura was also pretty good, adequate breading though the shrimp was a little tough. My brother had the pork dish which was pretty plentiful and tasty.
Sooo... I got my bf into an unexpected expenses hihi I love Japanese cuisine and dragged him to try this resto out. Great service no doubt about it but majority of their dishes are pretty pricey. So be ready to spend if you are planning to eat there. We got the affordable ones 😂
Here are dishes we tried:
Rainbow Batera (Php350) cold sushi with slices of squid, fishes and other ingredients. It was good cause you get to try different sushi flavors.
Tori Munenika Teriyaki (Php190) chicken breast slathered with teriyaki sauce. Sauce was good.
Roni Gyuniku (Php400) we both found it expensive for just 3 sticks of beef. Could have been better if there were at least 4 to 6 sticks.
Buta Shioyaki (Php150) grilled to perfection. It was sulit.
Japanese Rice 1 cup (Php90) sticky rice.
It was an ok experience with their food. Probably won't be eating their anytime soon.
I first tried Matsusaka beef here and it is such a departure from other types of beef. There's a myriad of choices from their menu. Make it a point to also other seafood. Some of my faves: Matsusaka Ishiyaki, Momo Teri Maki, Gindara, and Ebi Tenpura.
At first we were hesitating to try this resto when we were walking in megamall. But i was craving for fish and meat so we decided to try it. Some of the items were 50% off because it was their soft opening, but i find the price toomuch if they will sell it with regular price. Surprisingly the food was delicious. The sashimi's were fresh. I ordered ama ebi and scallop for sashimi. We ordered beef and fish. Beef is good too. No need for gravy or any sauce. Supposed to eat hamachi but its out of stock. The food and the service was good, i just hope next time all of the food from the menu will be available.
