Francheska patiently assisted us throughout our dining experience, making us feel relaxed the whole time. Service makes all the difference. Aside from that, their hotpot specialty is tasty and full of ingredients. Definitely not like your ordinary hotpot.

Their signature golden collagen chicken has a weird texture but is definitely flavorful and has a creamy feeling. The chicken is very tender and soft. Their nikumakis is also a must try!!

I loved every food I ordered. Firstly, the Bijin Nabe collagen hotpot is a must try! If you will not try it just go look for another Japanese resto. I also loved their Chicken Nanban and Nikumaki Onigiri. Secondly, as for the food servers, everyone was very accomodating and they are very prompt. Lastly, the price is surprisingly cheap. Overall, I had a great experience here and the food is DELISH! I think from this day forward Bijin Nabe by Tsukada Nojo will be my go-to Japanese restaurant.

I've been eating here for over a year now and I try to introduce friends to it whenever I can. It really is a unique experience. First of all, if you're not going to try their Collagen Hotpot, you've wasted your time. I recommend you opt for egg noodles rather than the rice porridge. Second, you need to let the staff do the preparation. I made the mistake of assuming it was like other hotpots and went off on my own, hahaha, so I got scolded by the staff because there's an order to the preparation.

Other menu items to try: Chicken Nanban, Shitake Nanban, and Spicy Nikumaki. The nanban spicy options are great, but really spicy, so if that's not your thing, go for the original!

My grandfather has cancer, diabetes, and a weak kidney - so he pretty much can't eat anything sweet or salty. I wanted to make sure his New Year's Eve dinner would be special though - so I brought him to Bijin Nabe, which touts their completely healthy and organic chicken beauty hotpot

The vegetables were nice and fresh, the soup was extremely tasty without that icky msg taste hotpot can sometimes leave afterwards, and the famed chicken was very tender 😍

Amazing experience!

Rich soup sourced from Japan (imported) ✅
Light organic meal ✅
Lots of vegggies ✅

Bijin Nabe is known for having wonderfully rich creamy collagen soup.
This soup is the star of the show.

Minimum order is one Set good for two people.
Set contains a number of stuff, i took a picture of the set with the descriptions of what is included.
Costs Php 795.00 plus tax.

Since in my family we are all big eaters, we usually add a few more veggies / meat.

We are a big fan of this place. ^_^

The resto is intimidating at first because its not the usual hotpot food that we have in Manila. The servers are very accommodating and kind. Very knowledgeable of the menu and gives good recommendation on what to order for first time diners. The hotpot food is around 900 but included a big pot of collagen broth (it looks like jelly when it arrives on your table but would turn into broth after it gets heated), veggies, shrimp and ground chicken (they’ll turn into meatballs when they cook it). Hotpot will be cooked by the waiter and will portion everything out for you. The broth is really good and they did not overcook the veggies. They would refill the broth when its almost empty (its free) and will put ramen noodles in the end.

For price point its a little expensive but for me its worth it. For special celebration or for bagong sahod food trip moment. :p its one of those restos you’ll be happy that you tried. It can even trigger a craving! ;)

If you want something as good as a tonkotsu ramen, but cannot eat pork, the bijin nabe is basically what you need. It’s basically chicken bone broth, so it tastes as full and flavorful as a tonkotsu broth. If you also take inconsideration the amount and the price for each portion, it’s actually cheaper than a tonkotsu ramen in any of the ramen stores. :D

All the other food we ordered were good( the salmon roll and nanban chicken,) and the servers were friendly and very accommodating.

The only take away is, you dont become a “bijin” right after eating a portion. :p

Japanese shabu shabu who use the collagen chicken, the taste is similar with ramen soup, so tasty.

They use the good quality product, and chicken ball is homemade. Good for want to eat healthy food.

The service is good, they service us from beginning (soup tasting until the end they peeled the shrimp).

The food is great —— fresh ingredients, excellent combinations. The collagen broth is refreshing. Prices are modest, given the quality. But certainly worth your money. The ambience is sophisticated. The staffs are accomodating especially the ones who served us except for Miss Lai (not sure with the spelling though), maybe she should smile more often and to not show her rage on her colleague in front of the guests. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. Will definitely come back.

There is hot-pot all over Metro Manila. And then, there is Bijin Nabe. As of now, this is the only place that offers a chicken collagen based broth that is not only delicious but great for your skin. While the collagen broth based hot-pot is the star of the show, the supporting cast, i.e. the other items on the menu are quite delicious as well. The Chicken Nanban and the Nikumaki are quite delicious and definitely worth trying. My family has been to this joint multiple times already, and that trend shall continue in the foreseeable future. Worth multiple visits!

Edited to add: The portions are smaller now. Way smaller.

Did not disappoint with regards to the food. Everything tasted great and as advertised. However I ordered leg and breast bijin nabe and they gave me wing and thigh instead. No biggie and when they refused to replace it I let it go because the staff were friendly and it was probably an honest mistake but there was still that moment of disappointment. Nonetheless I will return soon for another round. :)

Oh My... Ang sarap! ❤️ Kung di ka pa decided kung saan ka kakain at binabasa mo ito, pasok na sa Bijin Nabe Beauty Hotpot! Order the Bijin Nabe! Parang silicon breast implants ang itsura pero after 5 mins, parang mother's milk na! You will transform to a baby because you will not get over how good the milk (soup) is. The broth is from Japan, made from chicken bones, water, and salt which are boiled together for 8 hours. The soup is soothing to the body, mind, and spirit. May healing powers. 🍲✨

Tip: Para masulit ang beauty hotpot, itapat ang muka sa kumukulong broth para free facial steam na din. 🧖‍♀️💯

Other items we ordered:
🔸 Nikumaki Onigiri - We tried all the flavors. Same lang ng flavor profile. Toppings lang yung naiba. Order the original/cheese just to try. 🥓🍙

🔸 Fried Chicken Wings - Sarap! Crispy! Better than Bon Chon. 🐔

🔸 Handmade Tamagoyaki - Sarap! Sweet and soft. Nalasahan ko ang pagmamahal ng gumawa. Korteng heart! Perfect appetizer. 🥚

🔸 Iced tea - Masarap. Quality iced tea.

🔸 Strawberry Almond Jelly - more like panna cotta. Yummy but not mind blowing. Super yummy siguro kung mas maraming strawberries. 🍓🍮

Salamat sa pag-basa! Happy eating! ❤️

Loved the soup on its own & cooked with the veggies! Both gives you a diffrent taste and flavor. Too bad they dont have the option of ordering just the soup unless you order the set. The eggplant is superb. Tried making it but it didnt get to how they make it here. The 20min wait siomai was a disappointment. But overall i cant wait for the 2nd branch to open nearer to us (gh area) just hope the resto will be able to maintain its QUALITY and cleanliness. Keep it up and more power. Im craving for the soup and eggplant!@

I was never really fond of hotpot type of food service but since i love trying out new stuff, I gave Bijin Nabe a try. Loved their collagen broth, that’s what is keeping me coming back. The chicken served with the collagen broth was very tender and flavorful because of the broth. Vegetables were all freshly served. We also tried their chicken nanban and hainanese roast chicken and both have pretty decent taste, but not that outstanding. All in all i give them 3.5 to 4 🌟 since i love their collagen soup and they offer good service because the servers would instruct you on how to go about the hotpot and would prepare/cook and sometimes serve the food in the hotpot for you.

Loooved the broth! Tip: save some of those freshly melted broth because you’ll end up losing the taste of pure chicken broth once you put all the other ingredients in.

Our favorite restaurant in S Maison.
Bijin Nabe is subtle and sublime.
It’s a bit pricey, but the distinct, unique flavor makes it worth the money.
Pro tip: One portion is good enough for two,
just add an extra portion of chicken.

I was excited to try the Bijin Nabe, beauty benefits or not, it was a very healthy treat for me. One serving is good enough for two people to share so that you have time to sample other dishes. The veggies were fresh and delicious. I was also glad that the servers are the ones who prepared the hotpot as I don't like cooking. Among the things we ordered, I really enjoyed the Caesar salad that had a Japanese taste to it. Unfortunately, the shitake nanban was unavailable that day; I shall try that next time.

A few weeks after our Chibo Okonomiyaki experience, my friends and I found ourselves in yet another Japanese restaurant at S Maison - Bijin Nabe by Tsukada Nojo, which is known for their Japanese Beauty Hot Pot. We heard that their signature Golden Collagen chicken stock can give you beautiful skin and a better health, so there, we went.

But before getting to the collagen, we first ordered a couple of their appetizers.

Maximum Fried Eggplant (P180)
fried eggplant seasoned with "maximum" spice and sweet chili
This is a good way to get your kids to eat vegetables. It's not too oily and goes really well with the sweet chili sauce they paired it with!

Chicken Nanban (P295)
Juicy chicken chunks in tartar sauce!

Assorted Nikumaki (P105-P115 per piece)
Original, Cheese, Yuzu-Mayo, Spicy
I highly recommend the ones with melted cheese and Yuzu pepper and mayo!

You go to Bijin Nabe for one thing, the collagen soup, and they deliver on that one thing. The soup is the kind of soup you'd want to have on a really really cold day, that kind of thick, stick to your ribs kind of soup that will leave you licking your lips because it's so thick and sticky. If you've ever had a soup where you get that gelatinization from a long simmered soup, this is that cranked up to the maximum. It's like the creamiest tonkotsu you've had but with chicken. Some might find it a little too thick though, and the body of the soup is strong in that you would be well served to add some more vegetables to balance it out.

Also tried their rice balls, which was just so so, not really the best for me.

Service was fantastic, very attentive, they know what to do, you'll definitely feel taken care of.

All in all, this is definitely a step up from the usual hotpot, and something work coming for and going back to.

Thoroughly satisfying experience - though I must admit we went in chilly and starving. My husband and I ordered one order of Bijin Nabe, a chicken nanban, two nikumakis and an egg pudding and we left full and happy.

Bijin Nabe - hotpot in chicken broth.
This really hit the spot after 4 chilly hours in a room with blasting air conditioning. The broth is made from chicken bones, which are apparently stewed until the bones are dissolved. I didn't know that was possible but after tasting the broth, I believe it. And yes, the broth actually comes as hunks of white jelly like the picture on the menu. I have to admit, the first mouthful of just broth had too much of a chicken smell. But once all the veggies and such were added, I didn't notice and the broth tasted better and better. The minced chicken chunks were also exceptionally tender and flavorful. Tip - if you're not impatient and wait for the server, they will peel the prawns for you. (Of course, in that case you don't get to suck the head unless you ask for it, if you like doing that.) Also, if you choose to get rice with the hotpot (you can also do noodles), be sure to leave enough broth so that the servers can make you porridge at the end. The broth was so good we almost didn't leave enough for this step. A warning: if you bite into the okra right after fishing it out of the pot, boiling juice will squirt into your mouth and you WILL burn your tongue.

Chicken Nanban Original - fried chicken in creamy tartar-like sauce.
This was delicious. The chicken was so tender and juicy that at first I thought they had made it into some kind of meatball with other soft and juicy things. But no, it was actually just chunks of chicken. The sauce was slightly sweet and creamy, with corn and I think little bits of cheese. It tastes better than it sounds - we were spooning it up and eating it straight. The side salad that came with the chicken was light and refreshing and a good counterbalance to all the richness. I do admit that I didn't really care for the taste of the oil that that was used to fry the chicken, but I still give this dish a high rating because the chicken itself was so succulent.

Nikumaki Original - balls of rice wrapped in bacon with a soy sauce glaze.
Meh. Apparently this is very popular but I wouldn't get again. Note, maybe it's the angle of the photos on the menu but these were at least twice as big as they look in the photos - think long ovals instead of circles. We were glad we only got 2 instead of the sampler, which I think has 4. The soy sauce glaze was good but the flavor of the bacon/glaze wasn't enough to balance out all the plain rice on the inside. (Possibly the balance of flavors would have been better if they were actually shaped the way they looked on the menu.)

Rich Egg Pudding
Yum! This was like a creamy, dense creme brulee. Super smooth and not overly sweet, with a crisp crust of caramelized sugar. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Would go back - especially if I'm feeling a tad under the weather and want some good broth.

As a man married to a woman with a new found obsession with skin care products, I have come to be more aware of the importance of creating a youthful glow in your appearance. Nothing wrong with aging, however if we can help do it more gracefully, then why not, right? .          Japanese restaurant chain Tsukada Nojo brings to the Philippines it's high quality collagen rich Bijin Nabe, also known as the "Beauty Hotpot", that not only has healthy benefits such as helps rebuild dead cells, but makes for a quite tasty meal as well!

Twas a busy evening when my wife and I decided to stopover and eat. Due to my in-laws influence, they've invited us to try this restaurant and told me that they serve collagen soup. Of course my taste bud can't turn down such invite so we enter, we saw, and we conquer!

We've tried their Signature Golden Collagen Chicken Soup for php750 for 2 pax. When the orders arrived, I quickly turned my eyes on the collagen soup and scooped a spoonful. It's very tasty and creamy, on point! Price is expensive though, it's worth it for your first time but you need to think over if you want to go in the future.

Hopefully they will add duck dishes soon!

I absolutely loved this place. I’m used to the Chinese hot pot with the flavorful satay sauce, but this was a break from that usual fare. The hot pot features a soupy collagen-y thing that has a simple yet complex, deep yet clean taste, perfect with the meat and vegetables. No-guilt feeling with every slurp!

They are known to the ladies for their Japanese Beauty Hot Pot, Bijin Nabe.

Here are the dishes that we tried:

Maximum Fried Eggplant. Fried eggplants seasoned with "maximum" spice and sweet chili. It has a very soft "Fuwa-Fuwa" texture. I'm not a fan of eggplant but this one had a good fluffy feel and less of that vegetable texture which made me enjoy it.

The soup is very good. We have been to this restaurant several times but starting today we will not go back again. The waiter now requires kids 12 years and higher to order the chicken collagen soup even if they dont want it since it is “a requirement”. We are not allowed to order other food items for our 12 year old kid if we dont order collagen soup for her. Our kid does not like to eat the collagen soup but me and my wife love it. So sad but we will never come back to this resto because of this “requirement”.

Tsukada Nojo specializes in Bijin Nabe (Php 750 per portion, which is already good for two people) This broth is stewed for over eight hours, until even the chicken bones are fully dissolved, creating a chicken stock that looks almost like a smooth chicken jelly, which is rich in collagen.

The Bijin Nabe comes with a combination of assorted vegetables, (such as radish, cucumber, mushroom, and corn) seafood, and you guessed it, more chicken! 🐔🐔🐔

Admittedly, I am not the biggest fan of soup, so I was initially hesitant to try this. But WOW! I was immediately hooked after having tasted just a spoonful. The soup is so flavorful without being too salty, and one portion will be leave you wanting more. Needless to say, I will definitely be back for this liquid gold 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Saturday night screening of beauty and the beast ended around 9.30pm made us super hungry after. Headed out originally to paradise dynasty but was already closed for orders.
Unanimously, me and my love had this one resto in mind -that jap resto infront of the escalator --Tsukada nojo.
Famed for its collagen chicken soup -we gotta try.
We ordered 1 portion (good for 2) of their ✔golden chicken collagen soup -served in stone pot with pudding like blocks that melts into a creamy smooth silky soup, then add on the toppings -cabbage, mushrooms, fresh meatballs, egg noodles, 2 pieces of shrimp and tofu. For 700+pesos, i say its very satisfying and value for money.
We also tried their nikumaki original and cheese -thick bacon with sticky rice inside (100-110peso each) -i liked the sauce, but i say its taste ordinary after the first bite. you can try one but it is quite pricey considering the small size.
✔✔Chicken nanban -4 pieces of chicken fillet with their fresh own made tartar sauce and side salad. We really enjoyed this dish (especially him 😊), the chicken was really tender, and the sauce was runny mayo sauce with dill onions and diced egg white (sorta tasted like egg sandwich filling).
We also tried their premium sapporo japanese beer -very smooth but pricey (180pesos/bottle)
I dont usually notice these things, but they kinda lack on their customer service --not quite attentive, nor cheerful.
Total bill was almost 1500pesos

Hotpot was OK at best but definitely overpriced at P750. The 1 hotpot requirement for every 2 pax will stop me from coming back to this restaurant even if their chicken karaage is the almost the same as what you will find in Japan. They need to remove this ridiculous policy, for their own sake. Nigiri looks good but doesn't taste anything special. Japanese siomai was a disappointment. Bland.

They went out to try their Bijin Nabe so I joined the gang in doing so. Not because of the beauty effect but mostly about the experience. :)

The Bijin Nabe is a standard order and you can't scratch them out when ordering so if you don't want to try it then better seek for another resto to eat. We also ordered the Nikumaki Onigiri and Spicy Chicken Nanban.

The whole experience was methodical that they have a certain order to follow when serving the Bijin Nabe. The soup was very rich and tastes really good. The Chicken Nanban was tender and the spiciness was just right. Yoibare allowed only one refill of the soup so you need to manage it. I really liked the Nikumaki Onigiri as the bacon was well cooked, neatly made and tastes really good. We ordered three kinds and I got the one with cheese on top.

The service crew was very helpful with the whole time, assisting us with the Bijin Nabe. It made the experience a whole lot better.

sidenote:
And if I don't see the effects of collagen by tomorrow, i'll flunk you guys in the rating.... just kidding... :)

Read a lot of good reviews about this restaurant from various blogs. Therefore, I decided to try it. I love their food! The collagen soup is so delicious and it's healthy too. Dining here is a different experience. You will get to experience how to eat what they call nabe. First, they will let you taste the soup in a mini cup. They say this is the first step to the entire experience as you get to taste the soup in its pure flavour. Then, you will be served the soup after vegetables have been mixed into it. Here you will taste a slightly different flavour of the soup but still very good. Then they will add the noodles and finally the shrimp, which is placed last, and which will give a very flavourful taste to the soup. You can taste how the flavour of the soup evolves as additional ingredients are added. The namban chicken is also very good as well as the onigiris or rice rolls. But I think one of my most favourite things here is the fried eggplant. Its crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! You won't even think that it's eggplant! You should really try this! The ambience of the restaurant and the quality of their food might make you think it's quite expensive to dine here but actually, it's quite reasonable.

I'll surely be back!

Taste exactly like in Japan. Order the 750p nabe which is good for two people. Sorry can't remember the name. Broth very tasty and servers are adept with the food they serve. On the sides, order the onigiri which is huge and some soy glazed chicken wings. My only comment here is you are 'forced' but not explicitly to order the nabe. They have an alibi that they are doing this bec they want you to try their soup as this is their specialty. I wish I have the freedom to say, "Thank you, but not this time."

The Collagen soup is something you'd want on a gloomy day, while recovering after sickness, or when you're feeling down and depressed. A portion (costs 750) is very filling and healthy. Recommended for those who are in need of comforting food that is healthy and delicious! Also good for the oldies with weak bones and sagging skin hehe. Collage has promising health benefits which improve skin elasticity and help speed up repair of tissues.

Collagen in soup form is so inviting, especially to us women who are all about the latest beauty craze!

Each serving of their beauty hot pot (w/ collagen soup, young corn, okra, shrimps, tofu skin, chicken meatballs, enoki mushrooms, and chicken) serves 2 and costs 750 per order. There were 8 of us so we had 4 orders.

Within minutes the collagen from chicken bones (looks like tofu) melts and turns into a thick soup which is then served to you before they put in the enoki mushrooms and vegetables so you know what it tastes like without all the other mix ins. It tastes good and rich in chicken flavor. The soup's taste keeps changing each time you put in something. It gets sweeter when all the vegetables are in it.

I liked it but I decided it was too thick and felt like there was msg in it because after the whole meal, I got really thirsty and wanted ice cream to wash it all out! But if it's gonna give me good skin, hmmm...

We had their chicken wings, tasted good reminded me of sour cream flavor, the mushroom and chicken nanbans were all good as well. But one serving is enough, you will get umay!

We also had their caesar salad, which was peppery for me.

Their fried rice I didnt like. Too much fried dishes, not a fan!

The best part of the meal were the onigiris! Rice balls were wrapped in bacon and lettuce. They cost around 100 each. So good!!!! I didnt quite catch the name even if I was the one who ordered because we ordered a LOT. But those would be my recommendations.

First serving of our water tasted like gripo but we reported it to them right away and they replaced our water with a better batch naman. Service is impeccable.

Btw you cant take home the soup because it spoils easily. Had two orders of everything because serving is small according to their staff din, ended up with total bill of 11k for 8 people.

Mazendo is just a one time thing, the soup is too thick on the mouth. The onigiris are great.
