Good impressions started the moment we entered the gate. It’s as if you were transported back in time. The restaurant sits at the far end of the hotel in a beautiful old house built in the 1950s. We had french onion soup, crab cakes (yes, it has real crab meat), macaroni and cheese (sooo cheesy) and the meat loaf. Everything was good and flavored the way I want them. Service is efficient. And the garden is lovely! Perfect for family dinners amd romantic dates.
Me and my boyfriend spent our anniversary here. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and staff was very accommodating. A perfect place for a special occasion like anniversary. Will be back definitely!

It was my first time went here; curious place that i never heard. I’m with my aunt and cousin. Well, i ordered poached salmon it to much healthy😊but it was delicious. The service was great and staff was approachable.
This is one amazing breakfast place, the ambiance alone would make you feel you’re not in the middle of the city, it elevates the whole dining experience. Staff were prompt and knowledgeable with their selections.
Tucked inside Henry hotel compound, this resto serves great salad choices, beef pie, and breakfast plates. Ribs and fish entree are all good here too. Coffee and dessert to finish your meal is highly recommended. Can’t wait to be back.

Made a reservation for 3 people for lunch via Gold membership online reservation system and confirmation came quickly!
Arrived at the vicinity just a few minutes of our reservation and first impression of the grounds leading to the restaurant was like being taken taken back to American colonial era, reminds me of similar setting in Vietnam and Cambodia during the French colonial era. The mid height building structures and the landscaping are clean and have that retro feel. It is amazingly quiet and solemn here that you could hear birds chirping in the background albeit right bang in the midst of busy and frantic Pasay City; the location is adjacent to Pasay Municipal Hall and beside commercial and industrial communities.
We opted to dine inside the restaurant rather than be al fresco, it was a hot and humid day after all! We were greeted and seated quickly at our table and surprisingly the restaurant itself wasn’t in grand scale but had enough tables to accommodate discerning customers, the interior was a combination of rustic retro look and generate just enough vibe to make you feel at home. The only noticeable snag inside the venue is the loud noise coming from some sort of a drink or fruit blender and one customer talking so loud that you could still hear clearly his convo about his restaurant despite the noise from the blender.
The menu is quite extensive from breakfast to dinner and impressive enough especially for those craving Western tastes from America to Europe such as bagels, fish and chips, burgers, pasta and even ossu bucco which I had been lusting for a while now! For this occasion my friends and I opted for fish and chips, mac and cheese and shared on Nicoise Salad. Fish and chips portion was surprisingly large, the battered fish were served in nuggets and sized comfortably but hefty for the stomach as it was served with French fries and some green salad. It came with tartare sauce and malt vinegar as dips, for me I preferred to dip it on the malt vinegar provided to soak the oil it was fried on. The fillet was made from parrot fish, it tasted bland at first bite but it soon created a frenzied taste soon as you dip it on either malt vinegar or tartare sauce. The Mac and cheese was just rightly seasoned and has just enough creamy consistency; it’s neither thick nor thin. The Niçoise Salad was a big portion of greens and bell peppers garnished with anchovies, tomatoes and black olives and the main attraction to this dish was the medium pan seared tuna and tasted so divine that we had to fight for the last piece!
I’ve enjoyed this restaurant from its location, decor, ambience, the food and their selections in the menu! I would definitely come back here again and bring along friends, family and clients for business meeting. Price wasn’t bad bad either. Highly recommended and 5*!
The restaurant is located inside the Henry Hotel which is a beautiful, serene oasis in the middle of bustling Manila. The vintage vibe and ambience adds to the dining experience. Food portions were huge and can be shared by two to three persons. The ribs were our favorite along with the mac and cheese. Staff were attentive and would refill our glasses without us asking them. I was able to use #ZomatoGold without any issues. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience and we will definitely come back!
Everything was excellent! Would definitely come back and recommend this place. The Blue Marlin was fresh! Mac & Cheese was awesome! It was sweet and salty at the same time! I love their French Onion soup. It didn’t scrimp on caramelized onions!

A real unexpectedly beautiful and serene place to be considering that it's in Pasay City. Located within the compounds of The Henry Hotel with its Fil-Hispanic revamped houses and art museums along the luscious greeneries and the canopy of huge trees. It's utterly quiet despite its proximity to EDSA and nearby small streets and residential homes. Feel free to roam around as you wait for your meals and you may choose either dining indoor or al fresco both equally satisfying. We ordered Roast Chicken, Pork chop, and Chicken Quesadillas. For drinks we had Coffee and Mango Shake. Honestly, the food could be better considering the price and the atmosphere but it was good enough with the huge servings. Our personal favorite is the Chicken Quesadilla. Service was good and staff was very attentive and accommodating. Sadly the art museums were closed when we visited but it was an overall relaxing experience. I did not get to take photos of the food because they looked really scrumptious and we immediately dug in after roaming around the garden.
The place and food was great. An all day breakfast menu would be perfect. Lasagna was good, but a meat version would get a 5 star rating. Sobrang panalo ng mussels. Broiled prawns were a bit pricey but they were really good as well. The braised lamb shank was the only dish we didn’t enjoy as much though. Would definitely go back, hopefully during the morning for their breakfast menu!

It's a nice hidden restaurant in the city. Didn't really expect such a nice ambiance in its area. At first glance, the price might make you think if the food is reasonable. However, the big serving and the presentation and the taste is more than enough reason to say that it is reasonable.
A nice selection of "international" cuisine. The armosphere is pleasant. Vintage floor. The food is good although nothing exceptional. Particularly large portions. Their salads are nice. Limited wine selevtion. All in all a pleasant joint where I would go back.

Our beverages, House Brewed Iced Tea and Strawberry Milkshake, were good.
Our mains were Beef Burger and Croque Madame. The burger had wheat bread buns and an excellently moist tasty patty. Croque Madame was very good with toasted wheat bread, farmer's ham, eggs, gruyere cheese and salad greens.

A hidden gem in the midst of busy Pasay! Im so glad to find this place.
We had christmas dinner with my sis and my childhood friend. I heard praises with this resto, and it was definitely beyond my expectations. The ambiance was very romantic, cozy and private. We ordered berry christmas salad and crabcakes for starters. Their leaves were fresh, love the berry flavored vinegrette. The crabcakes😍 was tasty, juicy and has good serving size. I love how the cake(crab) was completed by crunch.
For mains: ordered their poached salmon with hollandaise sauce and asparagus(890), grilled porkchops with mash potato (590) and pasta bolognese. It was all good; the porkchop were tender and juicy. I love every component. We had red wine to complement our dinner.
For desserts, we had their take on apple tart and lpw calorie crepe cake. Total bill was 3800 (3pax)
Definitely coming back!

Ambience: the restaurant is located inside The Henry Hotel which I consider a sanctuary this side of town. Charming complex of post war houses, art gallery and designers shops.
The restaurant provides al fresco seating so breakfast is gorgeous with birds chirping.
Flavors: The Vongole is top of my list - yum. For breakfast: we tried (amongst others :-) bagels served with a generous serving of cream cheese. Coffee is good.
This location of Apartment 1B is probably my most preferred location. It's relatively quiet, there's wifi, well maintained restroom, parking is available.

Stayed at Henry Hotel for a night. This boutique bed and breakfast transformed heritage houses into a city refuge, hidden in the busy streets of Pasay.
Apartment 1B is faithful to the modern rustic interiors of the hotel. There is a combination of new furniture style and vintage elements. Restaurant is at the left side of the lobby. We are greeted by the admirable staff. The flooring is a patchwork of machuca tiles.
Went for a continental brunch starting off with a piece of eggs benedict consisting of canadian ham and spinach for P130. Presentation is commendable. Gobbled the US Angus Beef Burger (P480). It is made with wheat bun and on the side are thick cut fries. I find the burger patty is a little dry. For dessert, I chose the frozen turtle pie. It’s supposedly a pecan pie in cookie crust. I was expecting a lot from it, but to me it was like an ordinary vanilla ice cream cake with pecan on top and not much of a turtle pie.
Having Apartment 1B at the hotel is a great option but it could also be a good detail to incorporate heirloom recipes for Henry Hotel’s menu.

I would say that it will be a bit hard to reach if you dont drive your own car although I saw a TNVS car enter which I believe was booked by the hotel/restaurant guest. Also, the security guards are hailing a cab for guests upon request.

The staff are attentive and accommodating. I called to confirm the booking I made through the Zomato app and it was confirmed easily and was given the assurance that we have the table until the end of the night as we were stuck in traffic. The staff also allowed me to request for a message on the cake for our anniversary celebration.

We ordered their ribs and then grilled pork-chops.
Ribs was a bit dry but the taste is good. The pork-chops lacks taste and flavor. The tobleron cheesecake was nothing special, not even good enough for us to finish.
While the Poached Salmon is a bit pricy, the ambience of the hotel makes up for it. The salmon was well-cooked. The green veggies seemed and tasted like it was cooked fresh. Potatoes was perfect--not too mushy and not anywhere hard.

This restaurant's location inside Henry Hotel is a pleasant surprise. As soon as you get inside the gates of the hotel, you feel like you warped in another place!
The small yet charming resto is a great choice for private celebrations and for dates. You will love the rustic feel of the area, both in and out the restaurant. Food is good as well with reasonable serving time. They have big servings which we do not mind bringing home. We ordered EGGS BENEDICT, PORK RIBS, MAC N CHEESE, 2 smoothies, a Carrot Cake and Ice cream. I love their eggs benedict! And you can actually choose to have just one or two served for you. One piece was enough for me to feel stuffed. Hubby finds the ribs 'okay'. Mac n cheese is good, but there are better ones for sure. Carrot cake was okay for me, not to sweet, which is good, but nothing really special as well. Hubby found their icecream yummy. I'm not really an icecream fan, so I didn't really get to try some. We liked the orange smoothie mainly because it doesn't have a bitter aftertaste.
If I were to give my rating on food taste alone, it will be lower, maybe 2.5-3.0. The ambience got me, obviously! 😉
We actually stayed 3 days & 2 nights at The Henry Hotel for my friend's debut wherein Apartment 1B is located beside the lobby; the restaurant of the hotel. The hotel is very unique and cozy that's why we chose the place itself as it pairs with the outdoor Bohemian theme of the party, but unluckily, we experienced bad weather 1 hour before the event. The event organizers together with the event stylist had no choice but to transfer everything they've prepared in the garden to the restaurant. (Not bad because the ambiance is still perfect!) Also, the staffs were very warm, hospitable, responsive, and helpful that made the event still successful.
Food- 10/10 !!!!!

Ohhhh wow... this place was cool.. it's quite hidden... the place was quite, has good ambience, the food was marvelous. Ah and then the waiters, they are so helpful, responsive, and very welcome. The price not too pricey if u look for good food with nice atmosphere.. definitely recommend this place

place was hands down antiquity with huge compounds and old wooden houses and tiles still colored mosiac and tainted glasses awasome for dates and proposal or anniversarty celebration. price is very expensive so its not for daily lunch meetings yet place constantly full and advance reservation is highly recommended . lamb shank and ribs and quesadilla awesome must try. only turn off we a;ready ordered dessert but manager so inflexible to allow us to cut our own birthday cake tempted to charge 300 pesos hahaha they did not even sing or give small gesture birthday slice for celebrant very UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISAPPOINTING cnsidering were huge group and huge bill.

Apartment 1B creates a complimentary partnership with their signature mostly American influence dishes. Yes it is for locals, but I believe they appeal to tourists as well.
After our Seaside Dampa experience, we travelled here just for dessert. We had lots of sweets yes but my friends and I loved more the chats in a homey ambiance and a walk around in their area.
Among the three desserts, I recommend the Carrot Cake. You heard that right. It was sweeter than usual but that cinnamon presence made it way interesting. The caramel around the plate also made wonders.
Salted Caramel Chocolate Torte was as special. I love the light feel of the cake with salt challenging your taste buds. We also had a dessert with Vanilla ice cream surrounded by a chocolate crust and an oreo base. I forgot its name tag, the taste I won't.
For a refreshing fresh drink, I recommend the Cucumber Mint Shake. Take the time to sip slowly and appreciate their perfect ratio of this two green elements.
This is no ordinary Apartment 1B. It is a special one, tucked away in The Henry Hotel, an oasis in maddening Manila. In a charming, old-Manila setting, you can enjoy comfort food favorites and brunch fare.
I think the menu here is slightly smaller than its other siblings but this is not an issue at all. Portions are huge and generous. I ordered nibblers to start: popcorn and wontons. The popcorn was nothing spectacular but great to munch on! Those wontons with cream cheese and jalapeño were a hit at my table!
For mains we got the vongole and the crab cake. Apartment 1B classics. Can't go wrong with these.

ProTip: the place is more cozy and can get full on weekends (esp brunch) Call in advance.

Love love love the ambiance! Interiors, music, and location is just perfect. Service is okay. There are servers who I think need more training. When we asked what were their best sellers were, some waiters didn't know what to say. We stayed in the hotel so we ate several times here and it took so long for our food to arrive, I really don't understand why. I loved their salad dressing. The pork chop is good too. I will still come back despite the slow service. The ambiance is worth more visits:)
Superb choices for breakfast. Got the bacon while my Love got the sardines (not in the picture) but truly delicious food but hoping they will serve more than 2 strips of bacon. Bread will be served to you at crisp; superb partner to their relaxing and wide awakening brewed coffee.
There are only a few restaurants in Manila that deserve to be given a 5.0 and Apartment 1b is one of them. I absolutely loved the dishes we ordered, and the place, although small, was lovely.
My sister and I visited this place for dinner. Situated inside the exquisite Henry Hotel, the restaurant boasted of elegant, timeless interiors complete with patterned flooring.
The grilled blue marlin was one of the dishes that was recommended to us by their staff. It came with a serving of pesto in light cream, and garnished with onion, cucumber, eggplant, and tomato. The fish was extremely tender despite being grilled. Best eaten with crushed tomatoes.
The spaghetti vongole was surprisingly pretty good too. The sauce was flavorful without being too overwhelming, and a little bit of chili was added for that unexpected kick.
Tip: Be here before 3pm so you can try their breakfast specials!
Amazing food amazing ambience.. I love it here! First of many times that i will visit this place and this resto. It's not that cheap but it's worth it. Things that i'm happy to spend my money with. So yeah 5 is a great rate for this place. I'm a happy customer even if the food takes awhile to come out.

Recently opened in late 2014, The Henry Hotel pervades an
aura of mid 20th century elegance and simplicity. Old style is cleverly blended with
contemporary furnishings to give the hotel a luxurious modern feel. Gardens and
water features provide a sense of space, and make you forget that you are in
the middle of bustling Pasay.
Fortunately, you don’t have to be a guest at The Henry Hotel
to enjoy this space. The dining room, situated in the main building, is run by
Apartment 1B. It’s a beautiful room featuring vibrant floor tiles and
minimalist furnishings, with a private dining area for larger groups. I
recommend you sit on the patio with a cold drink, preferably of an alcoholic
nature, relax under the gentle breeze of the ceiling fans and enjoy the
surroundings while you wait for your meal.
Many already know of Apartment 1B in Rockwell, it serves
very good comfort food. The menu at The Henry Hotel restaurant is smaller than its
Rockwell counterpart, but it is just as good.
All day breakfast, salads, burgers, pork chops, steak and
pasta feature on the menu – there’s something for everyone. My favourite is the
roast chicken, succulent and full of herby goodness. And of course, dessert was
a winner. Especially the salted caramel chocolate torte.
After your meal you can stroll around have a look at the art
gallery which features Filipino artists and the home ware store. Both located
in their own renovated buildings.
If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from the
hectic pace of life, Apartment 1B at the Henry Hotel may just be the place for you.
