Good food and great service.
Whatever was popular at Via Mare for merienda, that’s what we had. I had small servings of their best sellers. It was mostly carbs, though.
My favorite here was their Pancit Luglog. Its thick sauce was creamy and flavorful despite not having many toppings of ground pork, shrimp, chicharron, and eggs.
The Adobo Pandesal was great as well. Good thing it was served toasted and warm. The only downside here was the limited fillings of pork adobo.
Not bad for the Dinuguan. I rarely eat this but ended up almost finishing my small bowl. I like that it had lean meat and had a nice sour touch to it.
My last plate was the Christmas duo of Puto Bumbong and Bibingka. Via Mare is the ultimate destination for this ensemble, as others only serve it seasonal. The Bibingka was good, but I feel it can be better thinner.
I really don't like baked oysters but I love via mare's.. Two thumbs up! They're fresh and big 👍 thumbs up for the price
I tried their crispy pata before and it was also good.
I just thought that ingredients of some of their dishes were not generous enough though. But overall I give Via Mare a thumbs up
We came here for lunch because it was not crowded. Since we were the first customers the waiters were very attentive. So for the service I'll give them 4 stars.
The place was clean and ambience was pretty good.
For the food, i fell in love with their pako salad. The pako was crunchy and the fish sauce dressing complements it. I also loved their tortang talong. We also ordered crispy pata (not crunchy though) , adobong pusit and fried tilapia. The latter disappoints me as it tasted "maanta". Probably they re-used the oil for frying.
Over all experience was ok except for the tilapia.
Had dinner here with my college friends. The ambience is good but the place is a bit hot inside. The food's okay but the serving is quite unreasonable for the price.
Went to Via Mare for lunch yesterday. I had been looking at eating at Via Mare for a while now but the lack of a wheelchair ramp at the front door kept me from going in there since the entry was raised from the floor. So while I was going around the building, I saw another way for me to enter the place and that was thru the parking area. So yesterday I tried it.
So I ordered Ensiladang Bagnet, rice, Mango Calamansi Juice and lastly, Halo-halo. Was satisfied with what I ordered. Loved the ambience and the service was great as well. It's always a good thing whenever your place of work is near restos that can fill your tummy up, especially when you need to recharge from a hectic day at work.
