As a freelancer, I am hunting for places that can offer a good cup of Americano. And to my surprise, French Baker has that.
It was brewed well and to my surprise, the coffee is not acidic. It had a smooth texture and as I drink it, there are floral and nutty notes that I can distinguish.

Positive side, the presentation and taste of food is good. Tried bolognese, fish and chips, tuna sandwich and iced tea.Serving size can be shared for two people. Quality of food and service is worth for what you pay for.
Negative side, the location is near the event area so expect it to be noisy specially during weekends.

I think this branch has a wider selection compared to the one in SM City Manila. I was surprised that they offer macaroons and pizza. I was torn between the muffins and then pork floss but I chose the muffins instead. The blueberry flavored was good, it has enough moisture but I was expecting more flavor. You can see the bread being prepared at the back when you line up and pay at the cashier which makes me feel that their breads are freshly made.
I always order their carbonara and it's really exceptional. The place is crowded when we visited because its chinese new year. The downside is their AC. The outlet is open and relied so much to the mall's AC. And some of the tables are too small.
me and my husband ate baked chicken and cordon bleu. the sauces compliments the chicken.
too bad that my first option chicken gallantina was not available but lookinf forward to order it next time we dine again with them..
Love this restaurant because of their french inspired food. They offer authentic french bread as well as french dishes. I love that they are able to serve their customers efficiently and quicklyand they are able to customize my favorite dishes.
Ambience is beautiful. Considering there are a lot of French Baker branches that are downsized, I'm delighted that this one of the few branches that maintained the traditional French Baker ambience that we know of. Service is great but can sometimes get slow.
Tried their Soup on a bread bowl which is my very first experience of getting to try something like this (sad, i know!). It's actually heavy. There might not be enough space for the main dish and some dessert.
Their hickory spare ribs is my favorite in here. I love the sweetness of their sauce. Very recommended!

Now, if you find Starbucks as quite crowded or any other coffee houses within the SM MOA Complex, this restaurant is a go-to place. It is located right at the very entrance of the SM MOA and the line when ordering is not that long.
Unfortunately, whilst I love the dark chocolate chip cookie that I ordered, yet I cannot give this restaurant a high score as its service needs to be improved. Remember, this is MOA and there will always be a crowd and tables are a challenge, but for us to be advised just as when me and my friend are about to take our seats at the only available table left and be told that it is reserved when there is no RESERVED sign placed is not good. It turned out, it was not really reserved per se but a service crew was simply advised by the 2 foreigners behind us if the table can be saved for them - but hey, is it not it should be on a first come first serve basis?
Finally, it took me at least twice to remind the service crew of my tea to be served.
So, if you want to order bread or pastries then go because the they are all divine and delicious.
It isn't possible to walk past the French baker and not stop for a meal. The smell of fresh bread draws you in.
As usual I had the French onion soup, steak sandwich and chicken a la Kiev - My favoured items there. Perfect comfort food for a rainy day.. don't come here if your on a no carb diet!

Me and my boyfriend decided to have our lunch here. The food was a bit pricey and I was so unlucky that I ordered something new but I didn't like it at all and I forgot the name and my boyfriend ordered a chicken and it's so tasty. So he just gave me some and tried to eat my order.

My go-to order in French Baker is the Chicken Ala King. While its accompanying salad doesn't appeal to me, the butter flaky pastry that the chicken dish comes in does. My go-to dessert is either the red cherry Danish or the blueberry danish. They are really decadent sweets to end the meal!
I've been eating here lately,my feet brought me here😬😬..my first stop really is the bakery checking the baked goods but after smelling the freshly baked bread i got hungry😊🙈 so im here again👍👍👍
I love French Baker's pork chop. It's my favorite dish here aside from the chicken cordon bleu. This restaurant deserves more publicity because of their good food and modest pricing.
Its been a long time since my last dine in at French Baker. Surprised to see that they already have new items to offer.
Well, our orders were taken after 15 minutes. I tried their angus beef which according to the staff is their current best seller.
True to their words, it was great. I enjoyed the tenderness of the beef. Bread was superb and that goes with the gravy as well.

French Baker is my go-to place for affordable yet delicious meals! I always always love coming back to this place mainly because of the beef lasagna and the chicken ala king!! I have so many memories here from my baby sister's first potato chip experience to my girl group bondings! Am always sure that french baker would deliver because they have always been so consistent and they never skimp on ingredients.
My recommended dishes would be the fettucini alla carbonara, the pasta pizzas, chicken ala king, hickory spareribs, korean beef bbq, beef lasagna, and of course, their complimentary soup which is usually chicken noodle soup. Also, french baker offers good macarons too (that's something coming from a huge macaron lover), their best one is the rose macaron. Also go for their lemonade in caraffe (much sulit) and their 80pesos cakes. They also have a great carrot cake!!!
---Also, today I got to try something different, their blueberry crepe, it's warm and it tastes like egg tarts, so that's really weird.
Service is also great and servers are happy with their work. Don't expect the high tables to be that clean though, because sometimes there are tiny cockroach-like insects showing up (rarely!!)
one of the best tasting bread my favorite was their asado roll woohooo ! love the sweet taste and the meat just melts on your mouth. one more thing is their cheese roll yummy ! also they have casual dining love their pork i forgot what they called it, but yea its soft and delicious. lasagna one of their best ... one of my comfort restaurant :) ...
french baker has been in the market since forever. haven't tried their food in quite a while but this tuna sandwich on rye was pretty good. had coffee and was sruprised it included a small pc of brownie also!
Although I got something very simple, I have to say that paying not less than 400 for a pasta, soup in a bread and a drink is a bit pricey. Not a place to take a date but it's a great place for some great soup.
I always buy bread here with my mother. We love their beef lasagna and carbonara. I also tried their clubhouse sandwich and it is good. Whenever we go to Manila we usually stop here to buy and hang out with my family and friends. The ambience is cool, calm and relaxing.
want some bread? french baker offers various selections of bread. this branch offers a lot. some of the bread here are still hot, so it would be better to ask them what item is recently cooked and order it while it's hot.must try order was sweet garlic bread, this amazing bread is very savory. i would give this bread a grade of 5.0 for the taste. on my next visit to the moa i will try their dishes.
For me French Baker makes the best bread in town. I love their ciabatta, raisin bonnet, croissant, carrot cake, blue berry muffin. They also sell hot meals that is freshly cooked on the spot. Be sure to try the Korean Beef Barbeque, Beef Burgundy, Chicken Ala King. I also love their sandwiches especially the steak sandwich and chicken salad croissant. Price is just right. The waiters though are not very attentive.
French Baker is a casual dining restaurant located at the ground floor level of Mall of Asia. It specializes in sandwiches, pasta dishes and rice meals as wellz. Must try are the soups served in a bread bowl. I also liked the carbonara, korean beef stew with rice, grilled spareribs and chicken salad croissant.
I'm a crepe freak, if a restaurant offers one, I'd definitely try it. Since French Baker offers wide varieties of food, I had the mango crepe for dessert. Unfortunately, it was not one of the best crepes that I've tried. It was too dry and sad. But I enjoyed my main course.
The French Baker has been around for 20 years and I must say that the quality of its bread has always been consistently good. It sells the freshest bread. Aside from their breads, their dishes are also great and delicious. I love their main entrees served with choice of rice or roll, pastas and sandwiches. My favorite main dishes are Chicken Cordon Bleu, Hickory Spareribs and Korean Beef Barbeque in Caserole. For pastas, I usually order the lasagna and carbonara which are both great as well. As for their sandwiches, I love their Steak Sandwich, Flame Grilled Angus Burger and Chicken Salad Croissant. I highly recommend this place.
I love French Baker's branch in MOA because its the biggest one that Ive ever been to. Im a huge fan of their Pastas I love the fusion of sweetness, the sourness of sun dried tomatoes and the spices that is in their sauce and its very Italian. I am also a big big fan of their garlic breads its so tasty and very affordable and its perfect with their pasta! Another thing is the MOA's French baker branch is the fanciest looking French Baker ever it will almost give you the French vibe!
This is a great example of a chain done very well. Service, food and cleanliness has always been consistently good. Not all of the French Bakers are as good as this one. Soup served in the loaf of bread and the French Onion soup are spot on .
My friends and I had a late dinner at The French Baker in SM Mall of Asia. It was still full though the mall is about to close.
I ordered Chicken ala King while my friends ordered Caesar Salad and Carbonara.
The Chicken ala King is quite generous for one, same goes with the other dishes we had.
The service here is excellent, and the staff was very friendly.
