Initially they said that zomato gold is not applicable for salad and appetizers, and is okay for seafood and platters petite size. We ordered a family platter, crab meat petit and 4 seasons salad petit, during bill out the server apologized as she said she forgot that the zomato gold is not applicable for platters and seafood, but they still canceled the salad for us which costs 395. Still a big saving! As for the food, petit sizes are huge! Yummy food and great ambience just a bit hot. Come back ❤️
We used Zomato Gold on this, everything was good, its just that the interior and ambiance is old.
2nd time in Gumbo at they didn’t disappoint me! Huge serving at an acceptable price and their food tastes so well! Family Feast Platter is a must try! Petite size serving is already good for four. So what are you waiting for? Bring your friends, now!
PS. their place is also huge but its quite hot. but it doesn’t matter. Foods are still good.
It was really nice experience on Gumbo MOA from the taste of food up to accomodating staff
We arrive there at early 11 so the restaurant is not yet open their air conditioning but they still manage to give us fan for the mean time. The place is so cool that is unique to other store
I recommend my friends to eat at Gumbo MOA

Our third time eating at Gumbo Moa....ang sarap ng food.....ung 1+1 n kinuha nmin ni asawa ko ribs n half pero hindi nmin naubos at pwed e takeout...masarap ang four season salad at uhh....gumbo....sarap balik balikan. 1700+ lng nagastos nmin at nbusog kmi....thumbs up
We ordered Jambalaya seafood rice, baked lasagna and grilled chicken, all in petite sizes because larger portions are not available for Zomato Gold. We could've also ordered the ribs but it's also not redeemable under the promo. The Jambalaya tasted good although the rice seemed a bit overcooked. The lasagna and chicken were just adequate. The mango juice we ordered was bland. It's not worth it without the discount so thankfully we had Zomato Gold to slash the prices.
We decide to dine near moa area and find something to eat. We found gumbo on zomato and order rib eye steak and boiled seafoods cost 1200+ and 600+ respectively. Thanks to zomato and paid only the highest price.

Given zomato gold privileges, this is very worth the money. 😁 A good place to be at if you wanna stay long and if you are not a fan of queuing before getting served with your meals.
I so love this place! It really offers authentic New Orleans food.
We ordered classic caesar, seafood jambalaya, pepperoni pizza, grilled pork chop and bourbon style baby back ribs. The serving time was ok and the server are all attentive to your needs. It was all very sulit tho the food is expensive its good for sharing. The food was all well seasoned and we will definitely come back here.
Celebrating our 38th month as a couple, we decided to try this restaurant named Gumbo. It is situated on the 2nd floor of SM Mall of Asia, at the back of the mall facing SM By The Bay. They serve food inspired from New Orleans, Louisiana. Gumbo has a Mardi Gras theme and it is very noticeable as you enter the restaurant.
nice interior, good food, happy service, gumbo is a nice place to eat servers are always on the happy side, food is not usual for Filipino pallet so be ready to explore :)
For food, 5 ako hahaha lasang lasa yung herb and spices!! For me okay lang price kasi good quality naman e, sobranv mabubusog talaga. Sa service, 5 din ako. Accomodating staffs and talagang mababait sa ambiance 4.5 kasi nagrenovate sila saka mainit? 2nd time ko na dito pero mainit pa din hahaha. I could actually say na talagang for recommendation to dahil sa food nila! Hinding hindi magsisisi. Dito nagcelebrate brother ko and may pasurprise sila hahaha sayang di ko maupload video
It was our first time to eat at Gumbo and our first time to use an app that gives discounts and we got the 30% (depends on the time of the booking). It took us a while to find the place since it's at the back (and we haven't gotten to that part of the mall even if we're a frequent visitor).
We told the receptionist that we booked via the app and she asked for my name. Apparently, there was another booking before me. My name wasn't on the list so she asked for the confirmation email and apologized since they haven't received any email yet (the email arrived whilst we're already dining).
We were ushered inside and well, we got the whole place to ourselves ❤.It was a Monday before Vday so we expect a lot of people but lucky us, we're the only ones dining.
The waiter immeditely gave us glasses of water and left a paper stating we have a 30% discount. We felt assured by just that (you know they know what they're doing).
We ordered Seafood Pasta, Chicken Limone, Mardi Gras (salad), a Rootbeer and Coke Zero. The meals were served in a timely manner. We didn't have to wait long. Well, were the only customers! 😂
We liked everything we ordered! The salad was so tasty and the seafoods in my pasta (shrimps and tahong) were extravagantly incorporated in my pasta. In all honesty, I was only expecting a few seafood since that's what I've been used to (Hello, Philippine Advert!) But there were lots of them. The chicken limone was also good! We liked the lemony citrusy taste on the chicken breast and white sauce.
We were so full after. The experience was very good. The bill was about 1200+ but we only paid 900+ because of the discount.
The staff were all courteous and friendly. One of the best customer service we've experienced. 👌👌👌
The tables were also designed with masquerade masks so it felt lovely and sosyal. ❤
Ate here during my graduation celebration with my family. We ordered the plater meals. I remember it had large portions. We were so many in the table yet we still didn't finish the 3 platers we ordered. It's pricy, but worth it.
Great service from the staff - friendly, attentive and accommodating. Well prepared and good-tasting food. Special mention to the Seafood Creole, Artichoke Dip Bruschetta and Cajun Chicken.
Great staff and good food. I wish I could try everything in their menu! My personal favorite's seafood jambalaya. It has a strong flavor that compliments the rest of the food we ordered. The place has a beautiful interior. They have masks and hair stuffs for picture taking which were so enjoyable to try especially for kids. A recommended place to dine with your family.
We found this restaurant when we were strolling in MOA couple of months ago. It was lunch time and we can't decide where to it because you know it's a thing between husband and wife lol. We passed by Gumbo and saw that they offer crabs which I was craving that time.
We looked at the menu and g'd darn it's expensive so I opt to something cheap but will quench my crab appetite so I ordered Bayou's Stuffed Crab and my wife ordered a platter meal (forgot the name) and hey they'll give you a bread and balsamic vinegar.
The stuffed crab is awesome but bitin and I hope they put more crab meat on it but nevertheless it's a sumptuous meal. My wife and I enjoyed the platter meals because...it's seafood!
Let's rate them shall we?

Next Manila accommodation will be in easy reach of this place. Ambience, staff, food. All great and it so hard to find good food in the Ppines. Cooking is certainly not their forte.
-Place is very cozy, well maintained and spotless clean.
-Servers very attentive.
-Food is awesome! Worth it.
-We had NY steak, Family feast, Jamb seafood, Sea food feast, Pasta, Grilled lamb, Mozza sticks and complimentary garlic bread with anchovies.

Food was great, the fish and chips is the way to go. Very nice and accommodating employees. Kinda hot inside nonetheless we will come back here next time!
Great ambiance w some mardi gras costumes near your table. Great southern food experience. Staff are all attentive w our needs and very much accommodating. We asked for extra 2 sets of complimentary bread, and they were very much willing to bake us those 2 extra complimentary breads (coz it was nearly closing time then). Two thumbs up!! 👍👍
One of the better places we could eat in the crowded Mall of Asia. This restaurant has very good customer service and staff that make sure your experience in excellent.
My girlfriend and I ordered steak both and they both come with your choice of 2 side dishes that they have on offer. I ordered a coke and apparently bottomless is the wat to go. And the staff do make sure you are refilled everytime your glass is empty. My girlfriend had the Dalandan shake, which was also nice. The beverages come cold and helps a lot in the heat. There is a choice of eating inside or outside on the balcony which offers a great view of the bay.
The steak arrived pretty quick and were very well made. The side dishes really complimented the steaks.
First time to eat at this New Orleans-themed resto and it wasn't disappointing. Since it's just the two of us dining, we ordered only the petite servings but we were wrong....the word petite should not have been even used! Considering that we were hungry and when you're hungry, you tend to order a lot. And we are glad we did not go for the sharing servings 'cause we're gonna have a lot of take out if we did.
So we ordered the family feast petite. It has skewered shrimp, ribs, chicken and fish with 2 sides. All in 1 sumptous plate. And since I am craving for pasta, i ordered the classic spaghetti with meatballs. All is perfect but then, there is something in the meatballs that I didn't like. Kinda bit frozen tasting from inside. Hope they can look into it.
We finished the dinner with a nice cup of chocolate mousse with chocolate chips. Talking about sinful ending. And not to mention the nice warm bread as their complimentary. Shame it's only 1 pc. :)
We have been craving for seafoods. And rather than going to dampa, we decided to try out a restaurant called "Gumbo" with a subline of "A taste of New Orleans."
The restaurant is unique and the ambience is different from other themed restaurants you'll see in the Philippines, conceptualized to introduce and bring New Orleans to Manila. They also have fancy head-gears similar to what they wear during Madri Gras celebrations, which you can wear for photo ops and selfies.
We had a hard time deciding what to order since they have wide array of menu choices from appetizer, soup, and salad, seafood, meat, pasta, and options solely for authentic Cojun Creole dishes. While checking the menu for our order, we were served a complimentary loaf of bread as an appetizer, a slice of bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip, and I was like, "this is where I parked my car!" HAHAHA.
For our starter, we ordered their rich and creamy version of Classic Ceasar salad (P295). Not too garlicky, not too fishy. It's just right! I was thinking of ordering grande, since me and my girlfriend will be sharing, but we opt to get the petite and it's served in one filling meal in one huge bowl-like plate. Yes, it did taste so amazing and the ingredients were indeed so fresh you can tell the difference.
For our main, we ordered Seafood Boil (P795). This is the menu that will transport you to the seaside, a seriously delicious food. I was a lil hesitant at first tho because for the price of P795, you may only get the petite servings. For bigger serving, their Grande is for P1325. I felt like getting something else instead, thinking it's not worth the price. But hey, it was a surprise when the food was served. The price is reasonable and definitely worth it! There were just really strong flavors. Although the flavors may come off as powerful, the dish was really a comfort food.
Extremely satisfied with everything -- the ambiance, the service, food. But I'd prolly just go for Red Crab, if craving for crabs, and Bubba Gump, for shrimps.
We ordered Seafood and Chicken Jambalaya and we had Onion Rings as our appetizer. We wanted to add another dish but we thought twice because most of the reviews we've read says that the serving size here is big. True enough what we had was enough to fill our tummies. They also give out complimentary bread with toasted garlic in olive oil. Honestly, there is really nothing special with their food, just so so, no wow factor. But what sets Gumbo apart, particularly this branch is their ahhhmazing service.
Been craving for ribs, so we had lunch here today, and had the family feast which consists of baby vack ribs, grilled chicken, fish, fries, shrimp, corn and carrots and skewered veggies. Loved everything on my plate. Definitely will be coming back again soon.
Met up with two of my HS best friends last night at MoA and decided to have our dinner here. What caught our attention was the have a huge tarp of their P999 promo which includes 2 starters and 2 entrees. Though they have limited choices but still not bad, right?! We got the Buffalo Wings and Mardi Gras Salad for our starters. The other options are: Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks, Caesar Salad and i forgot the other 3. For the entrees, we ordered the Grilled Pork Chops and Seafood Jambalaya. I forgot the other options, sorry. :)
The Seafood Jambalaya is flavorful and i liked how spicy it was. Buffalo wings was just okay. Chicken was a bit hard like it has been sitting in their kitchen for a few hours already but i liked the dip. The Mardi Gras Salad was light and fresh. Grilled Pork Chop was thick and a bit rough but taste-wise it was good!
Everything tasted good actually! This promo is definitely a good deal!
Our to-go-resto, Gumbo, particularly the one located at MOA, does not only offers delicious and palatable food with great amount of servings (I swear, their petite servings are good for 2 to 3 persons) but also renders assisting and fast services especially to the ones who want to eat right away.
The resto's ambience is a bit darker, which I actually prefer, because it gives privacy to the clients. And the price is affordable and worthy, giving justice to food servings, quality and services being offered, that make us come over and over again.
Do not miss a chance to order their Mississipi Mud Pie (One of the most commonly ordered desserts in the resto) because it gives you a refreshing chocolatey experience.
Truly, this restaurant will give you a taste of New Orleans.

Another date night at SM MOA, can't decide where to eat, so we decided to take a walk and take a peep on different restaurants.
While walking, a little miss approached us with a colorful beautiful headress. She then showed us the menu and offered us promo meals, like buy one take one baby back ribs. But then we chose the promo meal consisting of the following:
Ceasar Salad
Mozarella Sticks
Pork Chop
Cream Dory Cajun Style
Very delicious and savory meals!
Excellent and fast service!
Beautiful and accomodating servers!
Inviting ambiance!
We would probably come back!
A first to try out a pricey place but food was excellent! I'm just not used to a place with dull lightings at night. Shrimp Jampalaya is a must try if you're into paella food.
As always, this place never fails my expectation! Food and service is efficient and excellent! Great job to whoever trained these people. They always managed to be consistent in everything and take note, irregardless of the branch or location. 😆👌👏👍🍝🍤
Food is Great we love their Family Feast. Waiters and all the Crew is wonderful & accommodating. Service is fast. Price is reasonable.
We will surely go back again.....
Went here with a friend for a late lunch, so there aren't many people that time. I like the view from the second floor.
My friend ordered the southern Grilled chicken chicken caesar salad while I tried the Blackened Chicken Steak.
Our verdict: The Salad is good, the serving was just enough, The Blackened Chicken is tender, I just don't seem to enjoy the taste that much, there are too many peppers and I couldn't find any other taste from it.
I want to give it another try, maybe they can offer me better food next time.
First time I ate here, I was with my family. I fell in love with the food and place, so I went back here with my friends.
Food: My favorite would be the Blackened Chicken Steak. I just love the peppery taste
Service: The staff are just so welcoming. They're very patient in explaining their menu. I love how they dress up a little.
Place: The place is big with lots of seats, and it's very spacious. They also have seats outside, probably for smokers or for those who just wanted to enjoy the view (place is facing the bay area) and fresh air.
Will definitely go back here for more.
Last Mother's day we had our lunch at Gumbo. We love our food and enjoyed it especially my hubby who ordered the Ultimate Seafood Feast, his cravings for seafoods was satisfied. My daughter didn't like her kiddie spaghetti with meatballs. Not kid friendly though. She shared with my Chicken Jambalaya and she liked it. Good thing I ordered pasta where my little baby lo enjoyed eating with her hands. Will definitely come back and try their pizzas
Craving for American food after shopping for suits at the Entertainment Hall of SM Mall Of Asia. We ended up in Gumbo thanks to their staff with a fancy hat that looks so festive. The ambiance is so New Orleans to me (credit to my countless hours of watching “The Original” series online) that made me shout, “Pour me some whiskey and give me some meat!"
We ordered the Bourbon-Style Baby Back Ribs and Grilled Pork Chops with 2 side dish - Cajun rice for both, fries and coleslaw. The meats are tender and juicy with just the right flavor in the sauce. Both are big servings for a Petite order.
Looking forward to going back and try other choices in their menu.

Our family usually frequent Gumbo in Robinsons Place Ermita; however, we decided to give this branch in MoA a try.
We ordered our usual favorites such as the Seafood Jambalaya (P595) and Baked Lasagna (P595). For this visit, we also tried the Grilled Pork Chop. All of them were great just like before. For this, I'm giving this a thumbs up.
Note: I'm using my old photos just so I have some visualization, and since Gumbo is mostly consistent with the appearance and taste of the dishes, I guess there's no problem with it.
Lost count of how many times we ate here --and that's actually a good sign. The food and place are worth coming back to. The menu's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. There are, however, coupons offered. We got the buy one take one coupon. You literally get to buy one of the menu, and take the other one as free. However, you have to make sure that you read the terms and conditions to the fine print. That was our mistake during our last visit here. That, however, is another story to tell. The employees are very friendly and approachable. Ambiance is appropriate. Overall, a good place to eat.
We were a group of 4 when we looked for a place to eat. Luckily, we passed here and was offered a group meal good for 4-5 persons for 999php--2 appetizers and 2 entree (It the menu it actually said that we saved 700php! :D). So for appetizers we chose the Buffalo Chicken Wings and Morazella Sticks. For entree, we were allowed to pick the same dish twice so we chose the Seafood Jambalaya (I believe there are only 2 entrees in their menu that comes with rice). Five Mozarella sticks and Buffalo wings were served which naturalizes the mild spicy flavor of our Seafood Jambalaya. If you are not a fan of too much flavor on your rice, you may want to order additional plain rice to even out the taste. The Jambalaya had some shrimps & mussles, and was just right for 2 people (if you are not starving).
So far, the ambience is nice and is fit for a Sunday lunch.
NOTE: The food is pricey so don't forget to ask if they have group meals if your eating with friends or family.
My boyfriend and I, together with our friends, went here for dinner..The staffs are very accommodating and friendly..Foods are good but a bit pricey..I love the taste of their Cajun rice and fries! :)
This was the second Gumbo branch I visited. First one was in Gateway and that branch is a lot smaller than in MOA. They had this promo of buy one take one so we grabbed the opportunity since food here are quite pricey. We ordered the family feast and ultimate seafood feast. Both are priced at 795 each and since we have the promo we just paid the price of one. We had the petite size and it's already good for 2-3 persons. Inclusive in the entrees are two sides for each order. The steak and grilled chicken taste great together with the cajun rice and mixed vegetables. The seafood was good too however the shrimp was not fresh according to Adrian Gomez since I'm allergic to eat so I wasn't able to taste it) The staff were all smiles and very approachable. Will definitely go back here and hoping to have the buy one take onw promo again! I think it's until October 15, 2014. :)

I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant, and I could say that I am very satisfied to their overall service. The food are quite expensive but is " super sulit" coz they will exceed your expectations not only in food quality but as well as on how they respond quickly when you need something.
They even have a presentation for customers who have birthdays. And hey, I also got a free ice cream!! :)
I cannot remember all the food we ordered, but what stands out to me the most is their roasted steak. You won't be needing a knife to cut it. It is very soft and tasty.
So if you want a fine dining experience, then Gumbo is a must! ♥♥♥
