This is the best place for family, unlimited menu are great and i enjoyed most of their seafood and their sweet dessert is the best. The price is justifiable for the satisfaction you’ve got, craving really satisfied and will definitely go back for more! Great food!!! Great service!!!! Thumbs up!!!

Tong yang has grill and hotpot. What's not to like? I was also surprised that one hot pot was given per person. That was nice.
They have a lot of choices. There were fish, vegetable, and ebi tempura. There was also a variety of maki. Filipino food are also available such as seafood kare kare.
For the hotpot, you can choose your broth and your ingredients. There were various meats however the vegetables run out quickly. For the grill, my favorite is beef. It was unseasoned but it was very flavorful. There were also more choices like chicken, pork and shrimp.
We sampled all of the dessert as well. I like the caramel bar and the revel bar. The strawberry parfait was good as well. They also have ice cream. You can also choose your own toppings from sprinkles to chocolate chips to gummy candies. There was also a chocolate fountain. The avocado flavored ice cream was my favorite.
Overall a nice place to eat.
This buffet restaurant offers both grill and hotpot and also has cooked dishes. There are plenty choices - chinese, japanese, filipino and other dishes. However, the tempura always get emptied since they only cook a few per batch. Have to wait several batches before we were able to get some. The place is huge so we were able to get a table immediately. They have time limit of 3 hours. Servers are very accommodating and attentive to our needs. They replaced our hotpot cooker immediately when we reported that it was not functioning. Will go back to this restaurant again.
My family and I (friends and officemates also) are fond of shabu-shabu and grill. It’s like we dine on a regular basis with no umay feels hehe.

One of my favorite buffet place is Tong Yang Plus! They have shabu-shabu and grill items too! Dessert are not quite many but still I keep on coming back to Tong Yang Plus! Staff are energetic and friendly!
I can't attach as much photos as I want to because I used the others elsewhere online but I hope my comments will be useful enough.
Ambiance is very inviting for diners. This specific branch is spacious inside even if it doesn't do so by the door. Waiting time is a hassle though (like any other similar buffet) for walk-in customers specially during weekends, holidays, and MoA sale events.
Service is good. Buffet selection is even better. This would have been a 5 except for one tiny little thing which I'm still contemplating whether or not to write about. I wish they allow anonymous reviews here. Plus, the wash room is too small and cramped for a large dining crowd.
Food is awesome. I didn't sample all but I particularly love the desserts (panna cotta specially) and the grilled dish options.
Food: Delicious food from the Japanese to the Chinese, and the Shabu Shabu
Ambiance: Clean dining setting and very classy
Service: People say the service is bad. But service is fine in my opinion. Its a buffet, you get your own food.
Price: Great value for your money
Very limited varieties and food takes too long to be refilled. Taste was superb. Worth the wait especially with their dumplings, grilled meats, and soup varieties you can choose from for Definitely will come back.

I love Tong Yang Plus. Especially enjoyed the unlimited hot pot and the grilled beef and pork. Worth the money :) The ambiance is very nice too.
A good option if you're a fan of hotpot. There's a wide variety of vegetables and meat to choose from, including noodles and the broth itself. There's also a grill available, a dimsum section, and a dessert section as well. Your money would be worth it. Do make a reservation first since waiting lines are usually long.
Like all buffets, Tong Yang attracts a lot of people and for a good reason. You could easily customize your hotpot prefrences since they offer different kinds of broth, noodles, vegetables, meat, and all the extras. I usually go for the seafood option since I’m not a fan of overpowering tastes. The grill also has a lot of options to choose from. Oh and the interiors look great as well. Would definitely come back.
We celebrated my wife’s 26th last Sunday. The over all experience is very good. I come to Tong Yang for the shabushabu and it did not fail me. You do not need to wait for long even if it is Sunday. ❤️
Good choices of food and they’re all well displayed. The restaurant provides you your own e-stove; meaning you have more control of what to put in it. Customer service was great and the ambience is fine. A great place for your family to dine in.

Grilled dishes and hotpot is a great combination. Food selection is great except for dessert. They are slow in refilling the dishes and some of their premium items are hidden like shrimp and beef for grilling you have to request or ask them.

Went here for early dinner one sunday. The place is clean and not so packed. They'll give you a maximum of 3hrs which is nice because you can enjoy your stay. The food is limited but they refill everything fast. Look out for their fresh tuna & salmon sashimi and their premium beef cuts! :)

We arrived 6:30pm on a weekend and we’re able to enter the restau by 8:30pm. Mind you, kitchen will pull out all the food and drinks by 10pm. While waiting outside you will see a lot of vacant seats.. the problem, nobody’s cleaning the tables because they only have a few people to do it.
We were told to get everything we can eat because of the kitchen’s cut-off time. Our table is too small for that. I came for the crabs, beef and clams. Too bad the clams had a foul smell. There were no crabs left on the counter but I asked the kuya there, and he gave me some, secretly. Lol. This also happened in another branch. I don’t know what’s up with the crabs.
The beef melts in your mouth! The tuna sashimi is also fresh! The tempura is good but I have to remove the batter because it’s not crunchy at all. Their selection of juices and drinks is superb! One thing that disturbs me is that the oil from what you cook stays on the pan. If your beef has too many fat on it, all the food you’ll grill will be drenched with oil. Well, you just have to let the excess oil be removed by putting it on a tissue.
Their dessert selection is not that big. The lady behind the dessert counter ignored me twice when I asked for a glass or bowl for the ice cream because there’s nothing left on the shelves. Seems like I didn’t exist. Sadly, no ice cream for me.
Food for me is okay, but service is not that good. Had to go to the manager to ask for a wait soup base because servers were too busy.

It hasn't really been that long since I last paid a Tong Yang branch a visit, but that didn't stop me from being excited about the opening of another Tong Yang branch in SM Mall of Asia. . What makes this branch different? Judging from the addition of the word "plus" to this restaurant's name, I just assumed that it's going to be a bigger and possibly better Tong Yang. And I was right!

We celebrated New Year's Eve at Tong Yang Plus and without a reservation, we had to arrive early for walk-in. I like that they still made an effort to style their dining with unique furniture and decors unlike your typical buffet restaurants. The place is quite small compared to others as well.
They boast of shabu-shabu or hotpot dining wherein each diner has a ceramic plate for boiling soup. This allows each diner to customize their own so you'd end up having different soups in one table. We didn't make our own hotpot as we gave up on the 3rd time we requested for soup and we still weren't given a pot. The first staff we requested for soup, asked what type of soup we wanted. We simply said that we don't know since this was our first time and she replied with "ah okay" but no soup arrived. We tried asking 2 others but we were getting full so we didn't bother asking anymore. We then observed a newly seated table beside us who were asked immediately what soup they wanted and gave them all the options. When we were seated we were only asked of we had a birthday celebrant and they didn't ask about the soup.
We compensated with the grill and tried all the meat cuts available at the counter. The Beef Belly BBQ was my favorite. From the cooked food, I loved their Sweet and Sour Pork as it tasted a lot like Gloria Maris'. The sushi and maki counter was limited but we liked the tuna maki. Karaage and Yang-yom Poppers were also good!
There will always be room for dessert! They have Big Scoop's Salted Caramel ice cream and I just had to come back for seconds. Sprinkled with grahams and marshmallows, this was actually the best part of my dining experience.
Over-all, the food was okay but limited. They have an extensive selection for hotpot but service was poor. It seems they need more staff becuase our plates were piling up and it took too long for someone to collect it.

The location is really nice, away from the bustling shopping street of MoA. The food and drinks are superb, specially the hotpot ingredients, they have a huge variety of seafood, meat, innards, and vegetables. There's also a dimsum, and sushi section which includes, but not limited to hakaw, chicken feet, pork tausi, siomai, maki rolls, tuna and salmon sashimi. The drinks are also notably healthy, and there's also beer on tap. The staff members were approachable, and courteous. Overall it was a good experience.
Reception is good and the overall organization of how they queue is very smooth. However, be aware that during weekends, they do not accept reservations.
Food choices were ample and has a wide variety. However, there’s nothing special about the menu. Their menu is similar from Four Seasons and Yakimix. Little options for the soup base for the Shabu-Shabu.
The concept of each customer having their own pot is superb; however, the grill is a major off as the paper is too distracting and burns easily (the paper serves as a “non-stick coating”).
Everything is well maintained and might recommend this to colleagues.
Don’t be fooled by the “grill + shabu-shabu” hype.
