Margherita pizza is 😍😍😍 went there at 9:45pm which is 15minutes before they close but they still accommodated us and let us stay longer. Tho it is kinda off to be served with our bill 2 minutes after the pizza was served (which is our fault for being late), it was outweighed by the taste of their food!

I feel like this is an underrated restaurant. Service was great. Food was delicious! My sister and I went here for lunch we had Mandarin Chicken salad,their porkchop and roasted chix. All yummy.

Went here with Team aladkarin on their opening week because we received a random text message that they were offering a 40% off discount on their opening week. So this visit was last March pa ata.
I liked the pizza. It had a somewhat thin hand-tossed crust. I liked Pizza #3 the most - the one with salmon, capers, and arugula. They have a weird numbering system for their pizza, 4 then 7 then 6. Just ask them about it. I forgot what they said.
The Plank Roast Chicken (495.00-995.00) was very moist and tasty.
What was a disappointment was the Plank Ribs (595.00 / 995.00) . We asked our waiter is it ribs were meaty and he gave us an enthusiastic yes. As you can see in the photo, its pretty skinny.
They have a great location in S Maison, with a large window overlooking the bay.

Just decided to have late afternoon snacks here with my buddy. Plank Sour Dough is located inside Baker and Cook giving you a view of Manila Bay's sunset.
Place is appropriate for casual dining and for just letting time pass by specially when you have nothing much to do. We ordered sourdough pizza with mushroom and parmesan strips which were generally spread over. It was simple but good. The pizza is excellent and the chewiness of the crust is a standout. Best eaten while still piping hot from the oven. One issue I really found on their pizza is how few the ingredients, maybe because toppings are of premium quality. I also Liked the herby taste of the roasted chicken particularly the juicy skin. It was yummy, soft and tender. The herbs, potato and spices were nice to eat as well.
This is the best sourdough in the area but I found the price to be pretty steep. The staffs were pleasant enough and attentive.Will definitely go back to try their ribs and other selection including the all day menu breakfast.
The first sourdough pizza in the Philippines. They use a combination of flours and slowly ferment it for up to 48 hours at 8°C using only our natural wild yeast (levain), salt, water & extra virgin olive oil. You won’t waste a single crust because it’s best dipped in olive oil.
#6 is by far my most favorite Pizza in town. It's a combination of Parma Ham, Arugula, Buffalo Mozzarella baked on a brick oven.

Sourdough pizza is the start of something beautiful, according to Chef Jason Brettschneider.
For a pizza lover like me, pizza in itself is a beautiful medley of all the flavors of the toppings, the meat, the sauce and of course, the fresh dough. Upon hearing about sourdough pizza, it definitely sounds like a refreshing take on a classic favorite.
Sourdough consists of flour, salt and water allowed to ferment with natural yeast or lactobacilli. These good bacteria reaction, coupled with the special technique to knead and roll the dough itself plus the Valoriani domed oven result to a pillowy soft yet crispy crust for their pizzas.
Hot-off-the-oven artisanal pizzas, savory rice meals and tasty pasta dishes come out of that quaint little kitchen of Plank Sourdough Pizza at S Maison, Conrad Hotel. The open galley design of the kitchen sort of gives a more homey atmosphere. This, plus the colorful wooden planks on the wall add a rustic touch to the albeit cosmopolitan restaurant.
It was a happy coincidence too that an old friend of mine from elementary is now one of the chefs at Plank. Malissa was gracious enough to explain sourdough and even happily demonstrated the kneading and baking of the pizzas we were about to devour that afternoon.
The pizzas stayed soft with the outer crust very crunchy and crispy. It would remind you of pan de sal at one point, because of the remarkable softness and bite, but the flavor of the sourdough crust itself paired well with the tang of the tomato sauce and the spice of the pepperoni. The Hawaiian Chef's Special was definitely my favorite. The juicy crunch of the sweet pineapple chunks welcomed the spicy pepperoni slices and melted mozzarella cheese. I can't get enough of how the cheese goes melty on that beautiful bed of sourdough.
Enjoy their pizzas with recommended bundled treats like ribs and salad or roasted chicken and lasagna. More bang for your buck, lemme say. Each bundle costs less than P1500, making this a new date night rendesvouz.
Sourdough pizza is indeed a welcome treat for those who are so used to the drab regular players in the pizza field. Check out Plank Sourdough Pizza and experience a whole new sensation in enjoying an all-time classic hit.

The colorful 'planks' or wooden slats on the wall create a rustic yet artistic interiors. Use of light bulbs, and exposed ceiling add to the place's warmth.
I really love it when I get to come back to a restaurant I didn't have a great first experience at because I get to confirm whether or not I was just a tad unlucky the first time around or something's really wrong about it (although I am usually very reluctant). And, Plank might be the best example for this so far.

Plank! A place that means business with pizza, sourdough pizza. What separates it from other pizza places? that crisp but soft and chewy crust and you wouldn't even get oil dripping problems while enjoying every bite in a slice. Had the chance to try their pizza bundles:

Pizza #0(red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni), lychee and walnut salad, 4 bone ribs and a bowl of rice. a bundle that's good for 2 or 3. the pizza may be thin crust but it's surprisingly heavy, ribs (not really a fan of it because all i tasted was sweetness), salad was ok to blend with the carbs.

Hawaiian Sourdough pizza, 3pcs roasted herb chicken, and lasagna. A bundle of heaven! haha, i loved the chicken, almost fall-off-the-bone packed with flavor. the lasagna is so cheesy and creamy. yum!

We ordered the Caprese salad, which was light and fresh. We also got the Trio B&C Dips with Crostinis. It was also good since you have a choice to use three different kinds of dips. But the star of the dinner was the #7 pizza which was recommended to us by our server. It's there on my list of top 10 pizzas I have ever had in my life! Our table also had a good view of the bay.

A. Planks Pizza Bundle
· Bundle 1: Pizza #0 (Red Sauce Mozzarella Pepperoni) + Lychee & Walnut Salad + 4 bone ribs + Rice for P995. The pizza was generously topped with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. The dough was crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Best eaten while still piping hot from the oven. The pizza was made from stratch. It is so nice to see an open kitchen and personally witness your order being made. The salad was refreshing, the walnuts added crunch and the lychee was plump and juicy. The 4 bone BBQ ribs was big. They say that the bundle is good for 2, but can feed up to 3 to 4 depending on ones appetite.
· Bundle 2: Hawaiian Pizza + Lasagna + 3pc Herb Chicken for P1295. The Hawaiian pizza was not your usual ham and pineapples. It was filled with pepperoni and pineapples with a topping of leavy greens to add a bit of color. The lasagna was a bit runny. But the beautiful overflow of cheese was enough for me to forgive. The herb chicken was nicely cooked. Soft and fall off the bone but lacked that herb flavor i was looking for.
B. P325 Meaty Deals is a good steal, the serving is good for one hungry person or two light eaters if you just want something to bite while passing time at the their beautiful retaurant.
· Beef Caserole + Veggies + Rice - soft, tomato based dish. The beef was stewed too long that it was no longer distinguished if its meat or vegetable. It did pair nicely with the rice though.
· Mushroom Beef + Veggies + Rice - This was quite generous. Delicious mushroom sauce with mushroom slices.
· Barbecue Beef + Vegies + Rice - these meaty deals are of great value since these are beef dishes. The barbecue beef with rice is equally soft and punctuated with a smoky kick. Flavorful enough for a second round of rice.
Service was fast and non intrusive. Nice decorated interiors showing their love for reclaimed wood. Recommended. Bundle 2 styling by EJ B

I've loved pizza even before I could spell it correctly and while my taste has evolved and my preference has changed from thick hand-tossed to crispy thin, I still love pizza as much.
Needless to say, when we passed Plank (technically Baker & Cook, which bakes the sourdough for Plank and shares its place with) and I saw that their specialty was sourdough pizza, I was really intrigued.
Sourdough uses naturally occurring lactobacilli and yeast to ferment the dough. The lactobacilli produces lactic acid that gives the dough a mildly sour taste.
I ordered Pizza #6 which has the following toppings: Creamy Tomato Sauce, Buffalo Mozzarella, Parma Ham, Arugula and EVOO.
Yum! It's nothing like the usual thin crust. The center part is pillowy soft while the edges are really crisp, with some parts with that almost-burnt goodness.
Just goes to show that pizza does not have to be overloaded to be good. Aside from the creamy tomato sauce and buffalo mozzarella, Pizza #6 had just several thin slices of parma ham and several arugula leaves, but it was wonderfully flavorful. I loved that it felt light so it's like giving in to your cravings without the regret after.

Honestly liked the place, food was okay, lasagna was also good, service was a par same as what you expect in a Bistro group restos, the price was also a little pricey like the other Bistro group, even I have the Bff card.. limited menu but decent!
Looking for a place to eat and chanced upon Plank Sourdough Pizza's posters and signages at SM Mall of Asia and S Maison. We had some difficulty looking for the restaurant because aside from it not being listed in the digital directory at S Maison, it's actually located at the ground floor of the mall and is inside Baker & Cook.
Just outside the restaurant, we saw they were offering bundle sets for only Php 995 and Php1,295, which already included three dishes. We chose the bundle containing Lychee Walnut Salad, Pepperoni Pizza, 4 pcs. Ribs, and a cup of rice. All those for only Php 995-- definitely worth the price!
The sourdough pizza was a refreshing change from the usual pizza dough. The crust was definitely softer and more chewy. Although this is a place known for its pizza (hence the name lol), I was quite surprised that their ribs tasted great too!
We got to try their Pizza No. 3 which consist of shitake mushroom, shrimps, salmon, capers and arugula and loved it! The place was quite big and cozy. Foods here are really affordable and it's just few blocks away from the seaside. 😊
Plank Sourdough opened it's first door at S Maison, in the very same space as Baker & Cook, it's "sister" restaurant. The idea is quite convenient, whether you like to eat breakfast or have a pizza, it's all in 1 space.
We tried 2 pizzas during our visit and both are good.
I loved Pizza #3, their best-selling pizza, because of the freshness of the salmon and shrimp and nuttiness of the Arugula. Combined with a creamy tomato sauce base and EVOO, it's a comfort pizza at best!
Pizza #7, on the other hand, is their take on mushroom and truffle pizza with a creamy white base. I've had truffle pizza before and this is quite so-so. For a truffle lover like me, I couldn't quite taste it.
Price for their pizzas range from 400-600, which is quite steep for the usual 8-slice pizza, but the difference lies in their crust - sourdough. It's a good try if you want to eat good pizza.
One of the best pizzas in the MOA area, Plank's sourdough pizza has that artisanal vibe that's great with a bottle of wine.
We got to try the 2 pizzas from their 8 interesting flavors.
#3 had salmon, capers, arugula with a creamy tomato sauce.
#7 had shiitake and oyster mushrooms, caramelized onions, truffle oil and Parmesan cheese over a white cream sauce.
The crust is so good! You could dip the crust edge in olive oil if you want!

Located just right beside Baker and Cook (literally!), we had the opportunity to try out some of their Sourdough Pizzas. To give you an idea, this is close to thin crust pizzas.
I'm not a big fan of white sauce in pizzas but I really like their Pizza #7. Even though it has the simplest of builds, the truffle oil made the difference.

Fast forward to recent timeline where we tried out their new bundles that would surely fill you up with goodness. Here are the details:

Pizzas are good as ever. Best devoured while hot. The ribs are tender and well seasoned. Salad is a good washdown of the palette if you want to take a stab on both dishes bundled.
BUNDLE 2 (1295 php)
- Hawaiian Pizza
- Lasagna
- 3 pcs. Herb Chicken
The Lasagna and the Herb Chicken is a good upgrade to get from here. Not only the Hawaian Pizza tastes great but so does the Herb Chicken. The chicken was very tasty that you would wish to order additional rice with it.
Speaking of rice, Plank is also offering rice meals to enjoy. You could choose from Beef Casserole, Barbeque Beef, or Berr Mushroom for just 325 php each. It comes with veggies and rice per order. All of them are really good but if you're going to ask me, the Barbeque Beef is my favorite. It's a good thing that we are getting additional options with Plank's menu so that it could add some options for diners.
Had their Pizza no. 6 which consist of creamy tomato sauce, parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, arugula, and extra virgin olive oil. Aside from the pizza they had that has bbq chicken on it, this is the closest thing they had to an all-meat variant. The dough hsed was sourdough and the difference was evident, but I found that I actually quite liked their take. Really love how cheesy and saucy the pizza was. Price is a bit high, but quality is really nice! Service is good, ambiance too - they share the same space as Baker & Cook.
Hehe, they are part of the establishments under the Bistro Group and since my mom renewed her Bistro card, will surely visit again soon!😁
