I'm a regular customer and this resto never failed to satisfy my cravings, price range is very affordable for me as a student although it has increased a bit and also they serve a lot.
Amazed by this resto. I ordered via grab food one order of samgyupsal and pork bulgogi.
1. Samgyup- the meat tastes good plus they give you the meaty parts not the fatty one. It came with lettuce, samjang, kimchi and miso soup. While the meat is ok, the limited variety of side dishes were rather disappointing considering that i paid 300 pesos for the samgyup. At that price you can already eat unli samgyup at other resto. The kimchi was placed in a small plastic container (similar to a ketchup container)
2. Pork bulgogi- this was a winner. We didnot expect much since this only costs 120 pesos. However the pork was a winner in taste and even in serving. It came with rice, 2 side dishes and potato salad. Will surely order this again next time.
"음식 맛있다. eumsig mas-issda!" Truly delicious! 😋 After a tiring visit to the famous place in Manila for Pets and Apparels at Cartimar, Pasay. I tried their famous "BibimBob" aka for Bibimbap. For me this is my favorite dish! It is highly recommended ☺️ P.S. do not hesitate to try their foods even though it's CHEAP cause it's really worth it!

I've been here for a few times with my friends. The place is not too cozy, but a pretty decent one. Great food at affordable price. Although prices has increased a bit, it's still very affordable. Their bento boxes are the most worth it. An order is already a complete meal in itself served with assorted veggies, salas, gyoza, rice and bottomless miso soup/kimchi. Though, service needs some improvement because I noticed that everytime we went there, the staff are so focus in the counter, and obviously we're making eye contacts and getsuring to get the staff's attention, but it will took them for a while to notice us.
But overall, cheap & yummy food. This place always makes my japanese and korean-loving-tummy happy!
The food is really good and reasonably priced. The servers are also attentive. The place is a little bare, nothing extravagant, and kind of gave off a bit of a shabby vibe. Really just some place to eat and maybe have a couple of drinks if you aren't picky with ambiances. The wash area and the tiny walkway leading to it was a bit wet and dirty.
affordable K-Jap foods, best for satisfying your cravings in both korean and japanese foods, place is good but slightly not friendly when it comes to parking space due to it is near the cartimar market and pet place.

We are a frequent customer here whenever we visit cartimar. The prize if reasonable. Not too expensive. Service is fast depending on the type of the dish though. Serving is good and a lot. Taste is good! Authentic! They should ipen more branches.
One of the best kimchi chige that I have tasted in the metro. I always go here whenever I pass by the pet store in cartimar. Its a typical hole in the wall and you can tell that all their ingredients are fresh because right beside it are a Japanese and Korean grocery store. I have also brought a few friends to this restaurant and they have asked me to go again. The prices are affordable and it doesnt compromised the quality of the ingredients. I have also tried the California Maki, Beef bulgogi, Kim bob and tempuro Udon. I love them all.

It's wonderfully cold and well-lit in this place, and the food is good enough compared to the others in Cartimar. I mean, compare a Php145 bento complete with soup and kimchi, to a Php125 bulalo bowl outside with the heat in your face and car smoke in your lungs. I'd take this over that any day.
My girlfriend and I were shopping for a litter box for our cat and ate lunch here. The miso soup is great, the bento is fulfilling, and the dumplings are superb! Or so my girlfriend says. I've only ever had Chowking dumplings so it's not a very good comparison. Basically, do yourself a favour and EAT HERE, NOT ANYWHERE ELSE IN CARTIMAR. Your body deserves it, your mind deserves it, your tummy deserves it! It looks quite unassuming from the outside but the place is absolutely great.
Ordered: beef bento, spicy pork bento, dumplings, a can of soda (420 + 30 peso tip!)
Affordable korean and Japanese fare in the Manila area. Yes they have big servings for their price points, they also serve really good food.

This place is already know for its service and food. I did not know that it was already popular in our place until I ate again today. Yes, it's my second time. I ordered Tteokbokki (please, don't judge. It's my favorite ). Nothing special with the dish actually. It has all sort of veggies and I can say that it's affordable. For the price of Php130, you get a miso soup, kimchi, and tteokbokki. Wow! It was great. It is a real deal. This would have been 4/4.5 if the waitresses are nice and friendly. They are probably tired and stuff but they're at work. Even I have to sound excited and friendly when I talk to my students. So, if you follow some of my reviews, I am very particular with the service. They are just okay with how they treat the customer. Not bad, but definitely not good. Still...

They have already increased their prices. What I like about their Samgyeopsal is that their serving of the meat is more than I expected. Usually korean restaurants serve only little amount of meat. However, the lettuce is bot unlimited while the kimchi can only be refilled twice. The location is very poor, they are a bit hard to find.
Good value for your lunch money.
Tucked away in a corner of Cartimar market is a Japanese/Korean restaurant -- more Korean than Japanese, I think. Food is very reasonably priced from P140 to 190 for regular bento sets, up to P300+ for premium beef sets. Service is friendly and attentive. Big plus is the free kimchi which is one of the best I have tried!
A great discovery in Cartimar. I ordered their Kimchi Fried rice, O deng soup and SAMGYUPSAL. All for only roughly 560 pesos. My friend and I were SO FULL! definitely coming back here again
Before strolling around to buy some pet supplies, my mom and I decided to grab a bite to eat.
I really wasn't expecting much from the place since the prices were pretty cheap and the area didn't have a lot of restaurants around. But I was pleasantly surprised.
The Korean beef stew my mom ordered was pretty tasty for its price. And it was served still boiling. My sister and I had to wait for our spicy chicken and original fried chicken for 20 mins, and I have to say, it was worth the wait.
The Salmon sashimi wasn't the best I've had. But for 200 pesos for 8 pieces, it was not bad at all.
The tempura was crunchy, but was below average for me. Won't order that when I come back.
All in all, this restaurant was better than I expected it to be. So the next time I drop by Cartimar, I just might eat here again.

Day 2 of my Korean cravings! I searched for a Korean place near Libertad and voila! Arisoo! The place is by the far end of Cartimar shopping center, along with other Korean and Japanese shops.
So, my friend and I ordered our usual. Beef bulgogi (P140) for him and Samgyeopsal (P130) for me. Then added Kim Bop (P95) and Teriyaki Udon (P145). And also extra rice for me. Haha! Was able to have melona (P30) for dessert. Plus free miso soup. A total of 540 pesos for 2! WHAT IS SULIT!! Loved the Samgyeopsal, finally a reasonable serving of lettuce. Kim Bop was great! They served 14 pieces. The Teriyaki Udon was good as well. The beef bulgogi as per my friend was a so-so, tasted a bit like longganisa.
Of all the Korean restaurants that I have tried, Arisoo has the best Kimchi for my friend and my own liking. The place was mediocre. Nothing fancy. Staff were so nice and attentive.
Will I come back? YES! Ofcourse yes!
Never knew there was this resto here until my Dad brought us. And so I knew from the beginning that it was inexpensive. The place looks simple but they manage to keep it tidy. Service is good, they really pay attention to their customers. More than 2 of them were waitressing for us. They even gave my daughter a free korean ice cream.
Food is sooooo good! I love their Galbi Jjim, Bibimbob, and spicy chicken. They have good presentation too. I'm very impressed with their spicy chicken,looks soo appetizing that's why I order this everytime since then.
This is definitely one of my fave restos!
