Had Baby Squid Duet, Sisig Lomi Overload and Sizzling Chicken Dinakdakan; they're all yum! The lomi's my favorite though because of taste and price. Huge bowl that can be shared by 3-4 people.
Had a chance to try this restaurant out today and it was such a pleasant experience. Food was fantastic and enjoyable. I especially liked their ensalada with fried kangkong. Amazing!! Must try when you are here. Their bulalo was good as well. We also had their fried chicken and adobo ribs but these two are just ok for me.
My husbands choice for lunch today. We ordered Chicken Inasal, Beef pares mami, ensaladang talong, Kare kare bulalo.

π€When I heard the sizzling sound coming from this dish, I know it's gonna be a good meal. ππAt Lumu Filipino Kitchen in Manila, I was met with a bountiful menu of all-time favorite and classic Filipino recipes.π½οΈπ΄ Tofu Sisig, for example, is a beautiful twist from the original meat sisig. The tofu or bean milk curd is a healthier option for people wanting lesser calories in their meal.π€£

The mixture of the crispy fried tofu, mayonnaise, spices and savory sauces was definitely irresistible. It tastes good and visually appetizing as well.π

Thank you @lumubeerhouse for this memorable dining experience. Cheers to excellent Filipino food.
I think this place is really underrated considering how good their food is. Tried the Bulaloko and LUMU Chicken Inasal. Surprised with their version of Bulalo, it was milky and the taste was just really pleasing to the palate. The Inasal was also commendable, I love how garlicky it was! Kinda pricey but surely worth it! (We just waited so long for the food and had a hard time calling the staff).

There's a lot of Filipino restaurants out there where you can find great food so it's very easy to say that this resto is just one of those typical restaurants. But honestly, I was clearly surprised by how LuMu's dishes are masarap!
(F)ood:
β Pinakbet Rice - the sahog of this is so complete! And I love that the flavor of pinakbet is really coming thru the dish!
β Sisig Lomi Overload - if you want a big dish for sharing, then this is it! I wish it had more toppings though.
β Binagoongang Tomahawk Bagnet - when I first got it, it was like OMG this is huge! Upon tasting it, it was so delish! Not salty and that green mango topping was superb! Wish the presentation was simpler and less makalat.
β Lumu A-Banger Sampler Solo - this dish is so cool! Imagine most of the Filipino dishes that we love are being made into a sausage?! Amazing! Though I only tried one and I can't even tell what sausage it was. But it was delicious! Very ingenious dish!
β Hangover Munggo - your typical munggo but so flavorful and has a crunchy bagnet as a topping!
β Tofu Sisig - ay winner ito! Love this dish! So creamy and flavourful! Those mini bites of sisig are just super! Will order this again!
β Pares Cuapao - the inside is a little dry, it needs more sauce but the taste of pares is there
β Pichi-Pichi Skillet - love the sweet kick of this dessert with the saltiness of the cheese on top! Better share this one with someone.
(A)mbience - nothing much to say about the ambience because the place is typical. But they do have a bar area which will invite the drinkers in. The place is clean and have simple interiors.
(B)utler Service: the staff were all nice and assisted us im every way possible. I love also how they know much about the dishes.
