Their mango yogurt cheesecake is to die for! THE BEST! One slice can change your life, it’s like the gates of heaven opening and you can hear choir of angels singing when that creamy cheesecake touches your mouth. I wish i could eat their cheesecake every day hahaha!
We decided to have dinner before watching the final run of the Huling El Bimbo musical at the newport mall in Pasay.
Strategically placed at the entrance of the shops wing is this red-carpeted cafe. Adorned with dangling lights and marble tables, it is quite exquisite to the eye.
We ordered the beef and mashed potatoes with buttered veggies, the Maxim's Burger and the Algio Olgio pasta. As expected, all dishes were really good. Beef was tender and succulent. The prawns were plump and fresh and the noodles were done perfectly. The burger was juicy amd was good for two. Service can be improved a bit but was good overall.
Service was great, we asked someone to take a picture and she was asking us to do the trendy funny poses it was so funny! Everyone was very accommodating and nice.
We ordered Churros and Bibingka since we just had lunch so it was a very heavy “dessert” for us. We were pleasantly surprised that servings were big! We weren’t able to finish them all.

Cafe Maxims may seem "expensive" given the name, but the prices are the same with other restaurants found in Newport. In fact, given some discount apps, you can dine here for 30% less. We took advantage of this, and each of us just spent about P300 each for a personal dish.
Why 5 stars?
Each food is personally crafted evidenced by the visually appealing plating. Service is hands-on. Ambiance may not be very "exclusive" given its exposed location right at the ground floor of Newport Mall, but the red carpet turns that around. Overall, it was really a great experience!

Cafe maxims is located inside resortworld manila. A great place to chill with friends. We initially went here for their tea time set but apparently it was not available. So we just ordered some alacarte snacks:
Ensaymada creamy cheese - puffy but ok taste
Ensaymada dulce de leche - same as above
Chicken curry puff - spicy but not worth the price
Bibingka - very good
White macadamia cake - ok
In case you’re tired from gambling or just want to take a breather at this mall, this cafe is just around the corner. 😉. We didn’t gamble that night just to be clear. Haha. I personally wanted to take a breather because we ate at the restaurant in the casino area. Being that the area is a smoking one, I wanted some fresh air somehow. This cafe was nicely located outside one of the casino entrances. There’s no clear division with walls and everything. Kudos for some comfy seats though.
Classic hotel decoration, good food, good for sharing but selection is limited,service is so so. Please try their salad and burger. Very pricey
A cozy place inside a mall-casino place. Cafe Maxims provides classy ambience for comfort food.
Their Caffe Latte is so pretty with a heart-shaped foam on top. It has enough kick to perk you up after a night of partying. Comes with chewy dark chocolate cookie.
Affogato Baileys - presentation is just perfect. You get to pour on your own the espresso and baileys served on separate boats. Served also with 2 pieces of dark chocolate cookies.
Dark Caribou - made with dark valrhona chocolates. Too pretty to eat, actually. Has a green jelly-like white chocolate glaze and topped with half a strawberry and chocolate shard.

i will always be a fan of their desserts especially the white macadamia chocolate cake, dark chocolato cookie which is not the photo and the dark chocolate gelato. most of their desserts were all good but one thing i don't like in their menu is the selection of breakfast meal, not so worth it. it's a coffee & dessert place for me....
Their ice creams are delectable, creamy and flavorful. Tried saled caramel and mexican choco flavor 🌶🌶🌶 and my throat was burning 🤘🏼Salted caramel was pure bliss! Will come back for more client meetings here tho
This place is nice its inside Resorts World Manila. We had breakfast here and it is delicious. We tried their churos and it's quite nice... Good place to try 👍🏼..
We only had coffee here but it was great though a tad sweet! The cookie that came with it was delicious too- not too sweet, just right. Looking forward to trying some of their sandwiches :)
Went here for dinner. Got a Caesar salad and onion soup, and split a sugar-free chocolate gelato with my grandma. I guess compared to most establishments in RWM, this is one of the cheapest places to dine. I LOVED the Caesar salad, the dressing had the hint of anchovies that I always look for - though I thought the portions were small. Onion soup was incredibly salty. Gelato was a treat esp for my diabetic lola! Overall a good dining experience, but will never get the onion soup again.
I waited for my friends in this cafe, and ordered their dark caraibe cake 200php and french early grey tea from twg 180php.
I loved the cake, it was very consistent in flavor and the thickness was to my liking. The tea, of course, was great, it's one of my favorites from twg.
Waiting costed me pretty much my 2 days baon, but it was pretty nice because I loved what I ordered. But! What I didnt like about this place was that THERE WERE JUST TOOOOOOO MANY MOSQUITOES IN THE AREA. I have never dined in a restaurant in a hotel with that much mosquitoes which kept biting my legs 😭😭😭😭
I got to try Valrhona double chocolate tart and Silver moon tea. Tart is delicious. Tea is from TWG so it's really good paired with the tart as advised by the waitress. Ambiance is nice. Service is a bit off if you're far off their sight. I need to go to a table near them so they can serve me fast, so that trick worked :)
Hotel food is notoriously expensive, but that being said it's more bang for your buck in terms of quality. This was just my second time dining here and I didn't have such high expectations thinking that they focused more on coffee/tea pairings and dessert. However having not eaten dinner yet I decided to order the salmon salad and seafood chowder. When the food came I was firstly surprised by the portion size and then shocked to see the amount of smoked salmon on the plate - they were incredibly generous. The seafood chowder was seasoned quite well and served in a bread bowl (nothing beats tearing pieces of the softened bread - yum!). The salmon salad was perfect, the arugula was dressed with a lemon vinaigrette that cut through the fatty salmon. My only issue with the dish was the crumbled egg yolk and white and balsamic that were meant to garnish the dish - even as a garnish there wasn't enough for the amount of salmon on the plate.

Servings: adequate. If you have a small appetite, it may be eaten by two.
Beef tapa -- sweet tapa, tender. Two sinny side up eggs. Cup of garlic rice.
Daing na bangus -- crispy fried one whole bangus cut up into five manageable parts. Cup of garlic rice. Two sunny side up eggs.
The breakfast set with veal sausage has huge servings (with separate bread basket)
We also ordered three eggs omelette. The omelette is very soft (fluffy) and yummy. Served with bread.
The default drink per set is coffee, but tea may be requested free of charge (in place of coffee).
Ambience: great.
The food is affordable and good. The cafe is inside a hotel. Good meet up place :)
The hype that surrounded Cafe Maxims when it first opened at Resorts World Manila didn't surprise me at all. I'm not a die hard coffee person but I can tell when the coffee is quality. There's something about the way the cream floats in it, and even the way the baristas conduct themselves. The coffee machines are also telling.
At Cafe Maxims, high quality coffee is the star of the show. Their flat whites and cappuccino come highly recommended and rightly so, but my guilty pleasure whenever I'm there would have to be their signature hot chocolate. They also offer delicious pastries to complement your drinks. I usually go for the chocolate chip cookies. It's off the hook! Chocolatey, chewy in all the right ways, and more importantly, not too sweet.
Cafe Maxims is the perfect venue for a quick coffee break or for catching up with friends. Go check 'em out if you haven't already.
We had the complimentary breakfast set meals from Remington Hotel. Great ambience. Nothing special about the food though. Plus the service crew aren't the most lively. (Though I should cut them some slack since they're working on a holiday, but yeah, smiling won't hurt, right?)
My visit to this place was impeccable. The atmosphere is posh and the ice cream very yummy. The staff was kind and friendly.
I should visit more often. Recommended!
Used to be one of my favorite places to go to when I'm near this area. Food items are good & always well presented especially their coffee which usually goes with a cookie. I visited this place recently & was suprised at the substantial price increase (like it doubled!).
Staff are friendly & attentive & the place is hotel-like as expected as part of the Maxims Hotel.

I ordered the Forest Ham and Emmenthal Cheese Sandwich which is quite ordinary for me. I might not have eaten their specialty. Although their cappuccino is really good. You can ask for a heart or bear shapes.
Given the location of this cafe, I wouldn't be too surprised as to why their menu is expensive. But if you are the type of foodie who wants to try a bit of everything, including fine dining, you can give yourself a treat here. :)
I have yet to try their pastas and coffee, but their sandwiches are definitely good. And their desserts are sooooo awesome, especially the chocolate cake they serve. (*¯︶¯*)
We are on our way to fetch my tita at pasay city. We are to early for the schedule so we decided to have a breakfast some where.
We took a drive around the area but all we ca see are fast foods.
We passed by maxims hotel and decided to try their cafe.
We ordered breakfast set with two fried eggs, bacon , grilled tomato, mushroom, bread basket, and chilled orange juice.
The meal set is just right for the three of us.
We had a fantastic breakfast.
