Tried their rib sampler platter and some drinks!! Hello to the Margarita! šø Had to dive in to those ribs šš definitely a GNO on a weekday and a perfect time to cap off the day. š
We ate here during the Pyro Musical event and we did enjoy it. The food but not the experience since the staff seemed pretty busy and no one seems to be checking on the customers to make sure they're assisted.
Good place for ribssssss!!! Big servings with yummy side dishes. Sad that some of itās branch were closed down. Surely coming back for more flavorful ribs!
Morganfield's does not disappoint. It's situated inside MOA Eats which is very accessible when you've parked just right outside (outdoor parking).
I'd say they value your money. Serving's great quantity wise. Taste, texture, and overall appearance exceeded my expectations as well. Ambiance and Service is very much value-adding.
The food is so good, and very affordable. I always come back here when I have the time. This is great for birthdays or a simple get-together with friends. The drinks are also good!
4 stars for Morganfieldās here in MOA branch. We ordered their platter for two. I can say is, itās worth the price since their serving is big. The food presentation is neat and mouth watering š¤¤ Iām not a fan of Spareribs but their ribs are tender and soft and easy to eat. Although they donāt actually stick to the bones as what they advertise. We ordered the Savory Sweet BBQ Spareribs, with fries, coleslaw, soup and corn muffin. I am so obsessed with their corn muffin which is a great match with their cream soup. Their fries are also tender, and cooked well.
As for the place, itās chill and relaxing. Very recommended for catching up with friends or a date place to go to. Their playlist is also lit. š¬š„š„ Staff are accommodating and quick. Weāll definitely go back and try other selection and flavors. š
Booked it via zomato and yes, we have avoided the long queue.
Celebrated Father's Day here with my son and husband! And I'm so glad that he also enjoyed the free pilsen for FATHERS and the ribs! Ooohh yes the ribs where the meat falls off the bone! The corn muffin which was enjoyed by my son. And the waitress who willingly assisted us from time to time.
"It will not always be the taste of the food that stays in your mind but the feeling you felt when you're enjoying the food with someone!"
5 star!
What I really love about the restaurant is the quality of their ribs! You can really savor the flavor and would literally ask for another slab if your tummy can still take it. I just disliked that their gravy is not for free! Iām a gravy person and would always give 1 star for it.
Our family had lunch here last June 3, 2018 for a birthday celebration. We ordered the following:
Awesome Threesome (Crab & Spinach dip, Spicy Chicken Wings & Russet Potato Boats) - The crab and spinach dip was delish. It can be paired even with the other fried items for our main course. The spicy wings were their version of buffalo wings. The potato boats had a cream of mushroom filling.
Sesame Shrimp Salad - We loved the crispy tortilla strips toppings.
Ocean Madness Platter - The fall off the bone ribs was really delicious. We had it in Hickory BBQ. The fried seafood (fish & shrimps) were crispy and beer-battered. There was a strong beer flavor which can be lessened since it gives off an after taste.
Chicken Roulade - The chicken was a bit dry. And, the sauce was creamy but not enough for the chicken.
Summary:
š½ Food 3.5/5
šØāš³ Service 4/5
šø Value for money 3.5/5
Their ribs are one of the best I've had so far. Their pork burgers are also very promising, and it was a struggle to fit everything in one bite which means you're getting your money's worth.
June 30, 2018 Deckard and I had dinner here while waiting for Puppycat's play date with her classmate to finish. I know this is a ribs joint but we both wanted to eat light so we ordered the following instead:
Chicken Caesars Salad - Deckard's order, he said he liked it a lot.
Salmon Caesars Salad - my order.
Their salads, at least these ones we tried, are great! One order is enough for a complete meal. I particularly liked their croutons because they were big and crunchy. My salmon was cooked perfectly, it had a salty crusty exterior and the meat was flaky soft.
Onion Rings - one ring is as big as a donut but the more important thing is that they tasted good. The onion was well coated with batter and it comes with a smoky cream sauce. But as always Deckard had his with ketchup.
Seafood Basket - this was beer battered shrimp, squid and I think dory with fries. It comes with tartar sauce and coleslaw. This is good for 2 people but we were not able to finish it anymore so we brought it home. This is also a winning dish.
The service was very good. The wait staff are very attentive. We will definitely plan a return trip to sample the ribs.
The place is nice and their food is delicious. I'm a fan of fish fillets, so that's a plus for me because they have it. The ribs are soft and tender. I would like to go back here.
To be honest, their menu was pricey but you eventually understand the reason once you get to taste their food. I keep coming back bere whenever i have the chance and i still come out of Morganfieldās smiling.
Aside from that, they also serve cocktails and my favorite would be their apple mojito.
Staffs are very attentive. Ambiance was good and it is a nice place to chat and catch up with friends.

Late post, we ate here sometime during the first week of May.
We dined here during peak hours and with an ongoing convention at SMX. So.. pro-tip: Use Zomatoās reservation option. Itās UBER-helpful. We also got a call from the resto advising us that they lack certain items and if we still want to eat there, even though we already have a reservation. Very kind of them :)
Food: Sarap! We tried:
(1) all the variations of the baby back: Jack Daniels, Applesauce and Lemon Cola. All of them were almost fall of the bone tender (which is, imo, how ribs are supposed to be. If theyāre fall-of-the-bone, it means theyāre too tender, the crunchy texture sometimes disappears). The flavor seeped up to the bones (so some of us couldnāt help but suck on the bones, haha). The salsa of the Lemon Cola worked well with the flavor.
(2) Sesame Shrimp Salad: very nice take on an asian salad. Crisp greens, complimentary dressing. Yummy shrimp!
The others tried the herb chicken, but since I didnāt taste it, I canāt write about it.
Service: Very attentive waiters for a sorta big group of people (we were 10). They suggested alternatives to food that are unavailable. The manager was kinda imposing (and unsmiling), though. š
But still very much attentive and courteous.
Place: Clean, well-lit. Nice interiors. Floor was a bit slippery even when dry (accdg to our other companions). I guess it depends on the footwear?
Parking: Available at MOA grounds. It is a bit of a walk because itās located near IMAX. But very worth it.
Rating them 4/5 because they lacked a lot of items in their menu even though it was a monday.
Best baby Back ribs!!!! It was really tender and juicy and had the right amount of seasoning. We ordered Jack Daniels Baby back ribs--Its so good, you can finish a whole slab on your own šš
Salad was also good with generous amount of dressing. But the one that really made my day was Begonia, a drink infused with kiwi, strawberries and lime! So refreshing on a summer night! š Staff was also attentive to your requests.
We will definitely Go back to Morganfields!!! š
P.S. Prices are on the higher side with an additional 10% service charge. Still, its worth every centavo ā¤ļø
See you again soon Morganfields!!
The place looks nice, however the a/c is not working when we ate here.. Pork Sisig tastes good, but it's too sweet for me and the meat is kinda hard already, I think overcooked or not prepared fresh..
The guy eating black long sleeve shirt was serving us, he doesn't seem to be happy doing his job, very low energy..
Pleasant food but the price are quite steep for the serving. But the overall taste was outstanding. The place was quite small, but cozy. Definitely going back here. And the beer are quite cheap too.
It was a idyllic sunday afternoon and Team Glasses Food Blog wanted to try something new at Mall of Asia, just before the Ed Sheeran concert. In the midst of the groups of people moving to and fro, we saw Morganfieldās and thought, āwhy not give this a shot?ā. Stepping inside, the place is reminiscent of a pub by the sea with its wooden chairs and tables, and dim lighting for the mood. These makes the place a good place to hang out with friends for a drink (if we could still drink in the first place).
Food was great. Staffs were nice and polite. Ventilation and lightings need to be improved.
Will come back with friends to try other sticky bones flavors.
We ordered Ribs Sampl3r, and their ribs were great! It was juicy and tender, which is why I will definitely come back. Plus, the service is really good. The staff knows how to take care of you and were very friendly too. Overall my first experience here was superb!
Sunday is family day, together with the whole gang. They are all satisfied and of course happy tummy. Morganfield never fail to amaze me. Ill be back soonā¤ļø
Definitely highly recommended. Service is excellent! Food is heaven! Our personal favorites are the baby back ribs and steak! Perfect 10 for value for money!! āŗļøšš¼
Superb food! Will definitely go back. Been here several times with different set of friends and every single one of those visits were fantastic. One of the servers even recognized me! š
Off the bone bbq ribs, customer service was a 5, price was a 5 aswell it was not too pricey for the quality of food and service you get.. plus cr was so clean
How about a tender and juicy baby back ribs?
Yummy options for the meat lovers who enjoys fall-of-the-bones juicy goodness with their tangy with a bit of kick special BBQ Sauce.
They have a platter option where you can pair your BBQ ribs with either fish or chicken. Comes with french fries and soft drink served in a silly mug.
Great place for family/friends bonding.
They have a bar so that's a plus.
Not a perfect 5.0 score since the staff are not very accommodating despite having few guests that time.
But we will difinitely come back to try their Jack Daniel's glazed Iberico Baby Back š
Ribs are so great, that it falls off the bones. We tried the rib sampler and we ordered it with rice but we can't finish it all. Sulit na! Good for 6 persons.
Tried the Chili Cheese Footlong Dog. The serving is quite big but exactly what you can expect in an American dining. You may ask the waiter to separate the chili sauce so you can balance the taste. Goes well with Mango Shake. š

Grab their All-you-can-eat promo while it's still available! It's worth your last five peso! (Because its Php695)
Sweet and succulent ribs that almost falls off the bone...with a little help from your knife and fork. It's as juicy as it looks. Some might be overpowered by it's taste though, as it may be too sweet for some. Leading to my only issue with the promo, their savory sweet ribs is your only flavor option. Too bad you can not get to try their other famous rib flavors. Because too much sweet can overwhelm and bore you. Good thing that the sausage and the roasted chicken, as well as the fish fillet can tag-team your palate out of it. A very well-balanced choice of entrƩe in my opinion. It's like an overpowering king with loyal and harmonious constituents working together for your tasting pleasure. A must for foodies! And yes, I'm promoting it!
Overall their meat is great. Not a fun though of their onion rings. Imagine a krispy kreme donut with a small onion rings inside that and was fry long that the oil will drip from the ring itself when you pinch it. We suggest to pick the fries for the sides rather than the onion rings but if you want that kind of onion rings be my guest.
First off let me just commend the staff for being so nice and accommodating. We had a 2 year old boy with us when we had our lunch there and the staff were so nice they even offered to baby sit just so we could get on with our meal. I mean, thats really going the extra mile! The food of course was also delicious everyone was just raving about the ribs. My personal favorite is the one with the garlicky taste. My other favorite were the sausages. We had 2 for sharing platters (the carnivore platter and the ocean madness I think) both were excellent. Already our 2nd time at this restaurant and we plan on coming back!
Went here as my sister's first payday treat for us.
We ordered their Ocean Madness platter and it's really good. I liked the fish fillet and the sausage, it's really good and flavorful.
The ribs that they served is also great and the flavor is all over, I loved it! Also bought their Smores drink and their apple iced tea. Love the apple bits on it :)
A really good place to treat fhe fam! š
The food is great especially the smoked peppercorn ribs. The rice was well cooked and you can smell the good essence of it. The fries were also well cooked. But their service have alot to improve.
My review for
Eat all you can at morganfields . Total 757 with service charge.
Round 1 :
Sweet savory bbq flavor ribs- very tender, not really sweet but its flavorful, not saucy, and has a smoky bbq taste.
Bandit sausage- good sausage with crispy skin,
Juicy and theres no oily feeling when i ate it.
Roasted herb chicken- basic roast chicken, mild flavor, no distinct herb taste, includes butter gravy.
Corn bread- not that heavy, good shape not crumbly. I like this better than kenny rogers corn muffin.
Round 2:
Bacon and garlic aglio olio (w egg)- standard aglio olio. Needs more seasoning, for me.
Beer battered fish fillet (cream dory)-
Thin crust, bland taste, tartar sauce is standard so dont expect much if you love beer battered fish. Also comes with a lemon wedge.
Bacon wrapped meatballs-forgot if its beef or pork, ground meat wrapped in bacon. Bacon is crisp. Not much flavor from bacon and meat.
Didnt like round 2 since i chose dishes that are all oily. My mistake.
You can also get unlinsoftdrinks and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. And soup which i didnt try.
Good service.
Will come back for the ribs!
The ambience is great, you will feel like you are in a different place. The lights are somehow homey. Il give the overall interior a 4.5
The service is also good. The server always attends to the needs of all the customers. They are also very courteous. Il give the service a 4.5
Now lets talk about the ribs. One of their bestsellers is the rib. I find the ribs very disappointing as its not as tender as I hoped it would be. Another thing, it is not meaty at all. I find myself searching for a bone with lots of meat on it but found none. Il give it a 2.5. This is not the first time I ordered the ribs.
Another blogger invite happened recently, and despite its distance from home, I went and gladly covered it. This time around, I visited Morganfield's in SM Mall of Asia. It is situated in the newly built MOA Annex, beside the Galleon Museum.
The interiors of Morganfield's give off this vintagey, rustic vibe to it. The place boasts of a huge space that can cater to more than 100 customers, with the second floor transformed into a more intimate dining setup. If there is anything that I think they could improve on, it has to be their lighting fixtures. I think they needed to brighten up space even more.
If you have been following my restaurant reviews, you might recall that I have been to two different branches of Morganfield's already - the one in 30th mall and Uptown mall in BGC. I had great experiences in both, and today that did not change.Ā
So what we foodies got to try out was their
a la carte style, "All You Can Eat" promo for only Php 695. You have to remember though that you will pay an additional Php 300 or Php 995 if you have significant leftovers.
Part of this pool includes their 4-Bone Spareribs, 1/8 Herb Roasted Chicken, and Sausage. The succulent slices of their tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs were the usual extraordinary and its other meats didn't disappoint as well in terms of taste. You can have as much of these as your heart's desire, just raise your hand. I personally enjoyed the juicy Smoky Bandit Sausage, thanks to its special blend of herbs and in particular, cayenne pepper.Ā
You can have these with sides and appetizers too. Their Bacon Wrapped Meatballs and Mashed Potato are my top choices.Ā
They also serve this bunch with Aglio Olio with bacon and egg. I wasn't too keen on it dueĀ to its more than usual dose of oil. It did have a bright spot on it, theĀ perfectly made, runny sunny side up egg on top of it and its ample serving of smoked bacon.Ā
We also had their Beer Battered Fish Fillet. They were deep fried to a crisp with the tartar sauce to boot.Ā
As a whole, I find this deal worth every penny. There's just so much variety of quality choices on this promotion. And it's on trial run until October 15, so I suggest you give it a visit soon. This is valid on weekdays from 11 am to 2 pm, then from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Went here yesterday as a first sahod treat for my fam and it did not disappoint!
Ordered their Ocean Madness and liked every single thing in it! The fish fillet did not come with any dip, nevertheless, still enjoyed it, though. The smoked ribs are a little on the chewy side and could've used a little more time in the oven or grill (however they cooked it), but the flavor is spot on! Enjoyed the sausages and fries, too! The fries seem like not much of flavoring was put into it and i LOVED that. It's simply done therefore did not lose its authentic taste. The platter does not come with rice though so we tried their Pilaf Rice since it's the only option other than the normal Steamed Rice. Honestly thought their Pilaf Rice was something more flavorful but nevertheless, it filled our stomach anyways and that's the goal here! Haha. Their Green Apple Iced Tea is a little too sweet for my liking but highly appreciate the apple chunks in it. That being said, you could just a little water if it's a little sweet for you too, haha! Also loved their S'mores and Mango Float drinks!
With the ambience, i really loved the mixture of black, red, and wood interiors. The area is not so spacious which can cause difficulty for servers to move around. (I've worked in the restaurant industry before so I know the struggle!)
All in all, it was a great experience. If you're a fan of american food, I highly suggest you try Morganfield's. Serving time can get a little longer sometimes but their foods are worth the wait!
My fiancĆ© and I, Marianne, spent 2325 pesos for a very tasty lunch which we were completely satisfied with.Ā Ā The part that we were not happy with is we had some breaded fish that we wanted to take with us, and even though we asked for more tarter sauce, we would also pay for more sauce if necessary.Ā The waitress said yes to us about this request.Ā Ā After we got home we noticed there was no extra tarter sauce as we had asked for.Ā Ā Also Marianne provided the BDO rewards card which Marianne had to sign for, for a free pudding.Ā Ā Ā We also discovered that there was no pudding in the bag either.Ā Ā We were at the SM MOA location at lunchtime and left at 2:04 pmĀ Ā .Ā Ā Ā So, the experience started fine but did not end well and we are not happy customers at this time.
This place! Value for money: ā
. Food quality: ā
. Place: ā
. Service: ā
. For a fine dining, they offer combo meals that is budget and tummy friendly.

Buffet restaurants have seen a huge success in the country in the recent years that some of them forget about the quality of the food they are serving. Now I am a huge fan of almost everything eat all you can, whatever cuisine those might be. Despite not having an appetite as huge as my brothers, eating at buffet restaurants has always been worth the price for me, since I get to eat a variety of food items of my choice, and this new promo from Morganfield's is no different.
Was quite easy to track down this restaurant thanks to Zomato app. I tried booking a ride from my house to Morganfields in Uber but there was no such listing. Uber only came up with SM Mall of Asia . Praise God for Zomato.
I have never been to any of Morganfields' branches. But I have been hearing that they have good food with large portions. I was therefore thrilled when an invitation landed on my lap (so to speak) from zomato for an eat all you can lunch today. Will finally be able to determine first hand if this restaurant is ideal for the piggery's requirements ie large portions, delicious food but reasonably priced.
Ā When you are a mom with 4 kids collectively called "the piggery" (in jest), you are always on the look out for meals that are value for money aka sulit
What do you know, Morganfields have a new promo that will begin on Monday September 11 to October 15, 2017. It is called "Eat All You Can " for only P695 each at its SM Moa branch.
Hmm let us see if it will measure up to the piggery's appetite. Of course, I would have to be the guinea pig first hahaha.

2. Also included :
Appetizers , Soup and Salad
Bacon wrapped meatballs 3 pcs, Smokey bandit sausage, Soup of the day and Garden salad.

Savory sweet barbecued ribs (2 bones), Herb roasted chicken 1/8, Beer Battered fish fillet 2 pcs, Bacon and Egg Aglio Olio 150 g
Side items
Crispy Frech Fries,Coleslaw,Mashed potato, Steamed rice, Corn bread
Dessert : Single Scoop ice cream
Drinks : Bottomless softdrinks, or Iced Tea or coffee
Mechanics:
1. P995 with left overs. Absolutely No Sharing.
2. Sharing of table with non-All You Can Eat diner is not allowed
3.Kids below 3 ft - Free of charge. Between 3-4ft , half the price
4. Customer select the preferred side for the first item
5.Additional request from the list will be made on a per order basis
6. P695 is inclusive of vat and exclusive of service charge
Verdict :
Omg, the piggery fits the promo to a T. Morganfields best get ready for my piggery. They will pester your servers with unending requests for additional order of ribs hahaha
I loved the fall of the bone ribs, the sausage , the soup, fish and chips and the fries. The chicken thigh was a bit dry or overcooked for me. I loved their coffee too.
In terms of quantity, it was more than enough for me. I. I was not even close to finishing the first set. In terms of quality, the mains were generally good.
Sulit! Definitely returning with the piggery in tow.
This is the second time I am reviewing Morganfields and the results came out the same as my first review. It still earned my 5 stars.
We ordered the platter, but this time it is more expensive than the one we had before, same platter. Still everything is devoured to the bone.
Weird though, we were served with water in a mug with pig face on it, so we did goofed around it while waiting for orders.
Morganfield's price is worth your money. The ribs is delicious. The pasta is creamy. Me and my friends enjoyed our food in Morganfield's. We'll definitely dine here again.
Morganfield's continues to be one of my favorite ribs places, with 4 different flavors to choose from for their tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs, I find myself coming back over and over again for more. It's a bit more expensive than other ribs restaurants, but it's definitely worth every peso. If you have extra money to spend definitely go for Iberico ribs for a more premium, melt-in-your-mouth ribs experience!Ā
This time around, we had a break from ribs and tried some of their new dishes Pulled Pork, Salmon, and Bread Pudding. If you want a detailed review of their ribs, check out my full blog post in the blog.Ā
The Pulled Pork was very crispy and reminded me very much of adobo flakes - a decent enough dish but not something I would rave about.Ā
The Salmon (not the Blackened Salmon but a limited edition Salmon dish), on the other hand, was raveworthy. I really loved the flavorful 'fried rice' it was served with. The Salmon itself was nicely cooked and very flavorful. You have to eat it with the rice to thoroughly enjoy this dish. If you would like a break from ribs, I would definitely recommend this!Ā
The Bread Pudding (Php 195) was a nice sweet dessert to finish the meal for those of you not crazy with chocolate. Unfortunately, they didn't have vanilla ice cream when we came because they ran out so we had it with strawberry instead. I think it would be better with vanilla ice cream, but otherwise it's a solid dessert.Ā

After roaming around and finish watching a movie my youngest child to me he is already hungry.even we had buffet during lunch time at spiral. Well he didn't eat that much during that time. He told.me he want to.eat ribs so we go to morganfield we have tried it at uptown mall he liked it. We ordered carnivore platter for 5 persons because me and my wife still full. We also ordered 2 cup of rice and a pitcher of fourseason juice it cost 3700pesos. Service is ok. Place had a good interior.
If you want chill dining with steaks and drinks this is one of the best place. We ordered their Hickory BBQ ribs and its superb. Its super delicious and doesn't need sauce anymore. I also order the mango float shake and its heaven. The mashed potato is not a winner however the overall dining experience is amazing. Been to this place several times and I still love it.
PS: You can ask the bartender to modify your drinks a little bit so feel free to try their mojitos and others.
Such a nice place. We ordered the mini ocean madness platter. The ribs was cooked perfectly, the sausage was really juicy and was not overcooked. They were very accomodating when we dine.
Nice rib, chicken and sausage platter. Good serving size for 3 people and reasonably good value. Not bad and worth a visit. Had better though, doesn't feel as good quality American food as Hard Rock CafƩ for example which is always a benchmark of the cuisine.
We had the Carnivore platter said to be good for 3-4 person. The serving was huge indeed. We had tacos for appetizer also and carafe of iced tea. Service was very good. Prompt water refills and they place napkins too. A little steep for the price but worth the try.
Usually, I stay away from Baby Back Ribs because I find the sauce too saccharinely sweet and the texture of the pork turns me off. I was pleasantly surprised with Morganfield's Iberico Black Pig offerings (Jack Daniel and Jim Bean). The sauce was done just right and the pork was fall-off-the-bone wonderful. My partner got a burger and he had me have a taste. He's very picky so I was surprised he loved it. I forgot what it was but it had the caramelized tomatoes. Our server Cherry did an amazing job despite the full house (we ate on a Pyro-lympics night), she attended to our needs in a very timely manner. The food came out on time (waaay faster than the 25 minutes that they set your expectations on so that's a definite plus). The place deceptively looks small from the mall entrance but it has more room at the loft as well as facing the seaside. Overall, my family had a good time and loved the food offerings. That for me always get a 5.

I can't stop raving about the food at Morganfield's. Sure it was expensive because servings came in big portions but there's value menu for lunch if you're dining alone or with a companion. Sampled the garlicky rib platter, bacon carbonara and the beer battered fish. The bacon carbonara with runny egg is a must order if you love bacon. The bacon was overwhelming and it was divine. The garlicky ribg hold true to their sticky fingers tagline. The ribs were falling off the bone tender and was smothered with flavor. Service was top notch. Servers were attentive. The food awesome. My only beef is orders arrived slow. But will definitely return.
Good and quality food but highly priced. Half rack already costs 1k. But literally 'fall of the bones'... not the best ribs I had though - probably between 4th or 5th best.
Food is good and worth the price probably 5..
But the attendants need more attending skills coz there seems to be a lot of them but there were times when it took them a bit of time to notice me raising my hand and needing something..
We decided to try something new and we stumbled upon Morganfield's. The ambience was amazing and they have a good selection in their menu. We went for a set which is good for 2-3 persons for P1500. I thought it would be insufficient but suprisingly it was more than enough. The chicken and fries were really good. The ribs was incredibly soft. It peels right off the bones. The only downside that I saw was charging your second round of gravy which I thought was odd, but all in all, it was a great experience.
Good food! The place was just perfect. I love it, the interiors, the design and the style. It wasn't too crowded and the ambience was great. The food was superb! An order comes with a soup and a glass of your choice of softdrink. I love their fish fillet, not a baby backribs fan here but their baby backribs was actually really good. The fries, oh! The fries was satisfying. I love the potato filled with mozzarella cheese top with tidbits of bacon. Yummm!!! The servers were very patient, they answer all our queries. They made sure that we were satisfied. Indeed, everything was great.
Got the ribs sampler and they are HUGE! Among the three, i enjoyed smoked peppercorn the most. Balance of sweet and spice, i understand why this is the bestseller. Hickory bbq was ordinary. Garlicky bbq was more on the spicy pepper side. These juicy ribs are so fall off the bone, you dont even need a knife!
As for em sausages, spicy devil aint spiceh, bratwurst had a hint of mint, herby hog had a taste of oregano.
Good crunch on seafood basket.
No frills, just some good food.
They got the best ribs in the metro! Im not a fan of spare ribs but i enjoy my food,
Got the asian spicy barbecue spare ribs and it was great! It got the smoke flavor, and it has the sweet&spicy taste partnered with fries and some special sauce! šand it was amazing! Never regret that we tried this resto ! š
I like ribs. When my Tuesday group decided to eat at the Mall of Asia, Eric suggested Morganfield's. I actually saw this restaurant at Uptown Mall in BGC while dining in a restaurant. I never went back to Uptown Mall because I found the Mall confusing and uptight. Sorry I digressed.
There were 3 of us that ended up at Morganfield's. We decided to try the Ocean Madness Sampler. It came with full size ribs, fish, prawns, salad, muffins, corn on the cob, and French fries. The breaded fish and prawns were crispy and tasty. The muffins were good. And the ribs were so tender and fall off the bone good! The servings were huge! The 3 of us couldn't finish it and we had the leftovers put in a doggie bag.
I would come back with a bigger group.
This second branch of theirs is really spacious and can even hold functions such as corporate parties, birthday parties, and so on. Although Morganfield's restaurant specializes in ribs, they also offer great appetizers, soups, salads, seafood, burgers, pasta, steaks, and desserts. They certainly have an extensive menu to keep everyone happy. The following are the Ā highlights of our dinner there:Ā
1) SMOKIN' DUCK SALAD- The duck meat was smoked then placed on top of mixed salad which consisted of tomatoes, bell peppers, Lolla Rossa lettuce, hard-boiled egg, and cucumber. It was made richer with the added century egg which I hoped was the only egg placed in the salad. Anyway, the soy vinaigrette complemented well with the entire salad that made it uniquely delicious.Ā
2) Ā JIM BEAM BBQ IBERICO BABY RACK - The baby back ribs were slathered with a mixture of Louisana hot sauce and Jim Beam bourbon whiskey. The server told us that it might be spicy but that wasn't the case at all for us.
Slowly baked in the oven, marinated overnight, and grilled to perfection, the ribs was very tender and juicy. The meat itself requires only tiny effort to pry from the bone. And it was made more succulent with the sauce that we ate the baby back ribs until the bones were the only ones left. The fries and the side dish tasted delicious as well.Ā
3) SMOKED PEPPERCORN SPARE RIBS SET MEAL -- The peppercorn provided a little bit of spiciness to the dish and was the apparent overall flavor. Besides that, Morganfield's restaurant remained consistent by having their spare ribs tender too. The garden salad that we tried with it was normal tasting, but it was good enough.Ā
4) CHICKEN AND HICKORY RIBS SET MEAL - This is a good choice for those who wants to eat more than ribs but doesn't want to go for sharing platters. It comes with 1/4 chicken that is rested very well and the lean meat doesn't taste dry to me at all. Additionally, it comes with ribs that have the same quality as the rest we've tried. The difference there is that hickory bbq sauce was used in it. Meanwhile, the soup of the day during the time we dined at Morganfield's was their spicy gumbo soup. We found it too spicy to taste it well.
5) BREAD PUDDING - It was served warm. And it was a good comfort food as it has a dollop of ice cream on top and the sauce was a sweet "special whiskey" sauce. We easily cut through its soft texture and finished it entirely in just a few minutes.
To all my friends down south, rejoice, as Morganfield's just opened their second branch on the G/F of SM Mall of Asia (North Wing). Absolutely one of the best places that serves delicious, meaty, flavorful ribs.
My friends and I were invited to the opening and as always, Morganfield's delivered on all fronts. We were served their best-sellers and some new items on the menu.
We started the dinner with some salad. Not a huge vegeatable eater but I don't mind having their Smokin' Duck Salad as a meal starter. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the smokiness from the duck added a fantastic depth of flavour. My only recommendation is to add more lime or lemon juice as the salad begs for a bit more acidity.
The meat on the Jim Beam Iberico ribs were so tender that there was no need for a knife. If you want to taste a little bit of their best sellers, I highly recommend their Lunch Combos/Specials. The Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs and Tequila Spiked Chicken Combo was probably the second best thing after the Iberico ribs. The chicken was still as good as I remembered--Moist, juicy, and tender! The hickory bbq spare ribs were flavorful and paired well with the coleslaw.
Been coming to Morganfield's (BGC Branch) for almost a year and I have NEVER been disappointed. Service and ambience were at its best. Please, do check them out when you are in the area.Ā
*Many thanks to Morganfield's for hosting me.
This joint is known for its ribs and they are serious with it. I love the ribs since they opened in BGC. Now that they are a few clicks away from my house i could spend more time eating that delicious ribs.
Service was a little bit slow for me. It took them awhile before we got seated but that is okay with me. Nothing to be bothered about.
Of course you wouldnt come to morganfields and have their best selling ribs in town.
Well from what i remember last time i ate in BGC it was really good. This time it felt like it was on the average. All in all it was still good. Partition is generous and what i like is that you can switch the sidings to other else.
Will be coming back for more. Glad i found this at Mall of asia.
One of the best baby back ribs in town! I got a taste of their Iberico and it was simply amazing. The only down side to the whole experience was the drinks which was only served to us half way through the meal and after some follow ups.
It's no secret that I love Morganfield's restaurant. They offer some of the best ribs for a good price. Yes, some of its ribs like the Jim Beam BBQ Baby Rack may be quite pricey. However, you have to take into consideration that Iberico pork is a premium imported Iberian pork and they used a pricey drink as one of its ingredients that racked up the price really high. For what it's worth, their serving size is actually big and it comes with side dishes.
..
BAD SERVICE.
We called for a reservation but they ended up cancelling it because they called back the wrong number. So, we were initially seated at the entrance.
Staff has to be reminded about simple things like water and extra glass for our juice.
We had 3 steak flavors, and they foiled it all together when we asked for takeout. Tsk. And we paid 500pesos for that kind of service? Wow.
NICE STEAK
It was falling off the bone. I recommend Hickory flavor.
Other than the steak, there is nothing spectacular about the ribs platt3r. Hate the muffins.
I also wish they have sauce (like Racks) since their sauce doesn't reach the bones of the ribs.
Nachos are fine.
Would probably come back if they will have promos. But paying regular price? I wasn't happy enough when I left the restaurant to make me come back.
Morganfields is the best ribplace in BGC. Since it opened earlier this year, it had been at the top restaurant in BGC (as per popularity in zomato directory). As franchised from Malaysia, it became an instant hit in Manila.
It's all-time bestseller, the Jim Beam Iberico Ribs arrived MOA. It has the same great taste, juicy, tender Iberian pork ribs basted with their sweet, tangy BBQ sauce is just finger lickin' good.
We also tried their 'lunch specials' or combo meal. The meal includes a soup/salad and a drink. Hickory BBQ Spareribs and Herbed Roast Chicken is my best bet. I loved their herbed chicken, it was tasty and moist, specially the skin, it was flavorful. The hickory ribs was sweet and smokey, just the way I like it. But pork wise, I prefer the Iberico ribs because of the dense, meaty, dark meat flavor of the pork.
Morganfields is known for its sticky bones! I honestly think that their combo meal is a bit pricey for the MOA crowd, but its worth every penny!

I was invited for a foodie meetup and guess what? Morganfield's "Home of the Sticky Bones" will be the one hosting it. I am so lucky and priviledged to try their food and as I've mentioned before that Ribs is one of my favorite dish that's why I'm so excited for this event.
There are quite a number of dishes which they let us tried. Let's start with the drinks. 4 special drinks were served on the table, Freedom, Shirley Temple Float, Agua Fresca and Cucumber Apple Mint Spritz. The best seller is the shirley temple float and agua fresca. All looks delicious and I did enjoyed Agua Fresca because of the watermelon chunks and calamansi sorbet.
With the main dish, we were served with the Smokin Duck Salad and the Jim Beam BBQ Iberico Back Rib. I love the soy vinaigrette coz it's really delicious, along with the rest of the ingredients which really complemented the flavor. Duck was supposed to be the primary ingredient, it's just that it's not that fresh anymore, I would have enjoyed it more without the duck. But, because of the Jim Beam BBQ, I forgot about the duck being dry..
I really love RIBS... and this Jim Beam BBQ Back Rib is "the best in town". Mouth watering, jaw dropping, very tender, it falls off the bone, well, that's what happens if you have the finest ham in the world which is the Iberico (black pig) that came from Spain. This ribs was baked in the oven for 3 hours and was marinated overnight. This one is to die for, I will come back in this restaurant because of this! Price is nothing if you are a food addict then this is definitely to die for!
They were offering value meal as well which is not just for lunch but also good for the whole day. Smoked Peppercorn Spare Ribs and the other one is Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs & Herb Roasted Chicken, you can choose to have a soup or a salad with bottomless softdrink or iced tea for less than P500. What more can you ask for? One platter is already good for two. I can eat here everyday!
One more thing that caught my eye is children less than 6 or 7 eats for free. Although, terms and conditions apply, family can still enjoy together. So, what are you waiting for? See you in Morganfield's! I will surely come back for more ribs.. yum yum.
Just a heads up, it is actually beside Cabalen which is really not that visible. I had a hard time looking for this one =)
Morganfield's Philippines
The place rang a bell the first time I saw it at the SM Mall of Asia a few weeks back. I later realized that I saw several Morganfield restaurants in KL and Singapore. I had the chance of dining at this place, and all this is what I have to say "BEST RIBS IN TOWN". If you love ribs, go to Morganfield, now. They serve imported Iberico pork (black pig) from spain oven cooked for a good 3 hours before being grilled to a perfectly juicy roast. The meat literally falls off the bone and would melt in your mouth.
Morganfield with its very hospitable and engaging waitresses has the feel of a north american microbrewery/restaurant which is very homy and cozy.
I tried 2 versions of their famed ribs the Jim Bean Marinated Back Ribs which smelled so excruciatingly flavorful and succulent and tasted it event better than how it smelled. The other one was their version of the smoked pepper corn ribs which was tender and rich with the smoky and peppery flavors blending in roasted symphony inside your mouth.
Morganfields though has a couple of things they can improve on, for one the duck in their duck salad should be more fresh than what they served us, but that is overshadowed by their homerun dish their Ribs.
Morganfield's = Ribs; Ribs = Morganfield's.
This place is a blessing sent from heaven (or a blessing sent from Spain HAHAHA) to all people who loves ribs! Was invited for a Foodie meetup here today. Surprisingly, it exceeded my expectations in terms of their food, service and ambience.
My top favorites from the dishes served to us were their Jim Bean BBQ Iberico Baby Back and Smoked Peppercorn Spare Ribs. From the time they served the baby back ribs until to the last bone, it was so satisfying and delicious. You can literally smell the hickory barbecue infused with bourbon whiskey as if luring you to start delving into your plate. Their ribs are imported from Spain and are Iberico (Black pig) which make it more special and unique. They baked it for 3 hours and grilled it to perfection. It's reaaaally (not exaggerating, try and see for yourself) tender yet very juicy and flavorful. One more thing that made me decide that it's the best ribs in town was the crunchy-grilled outer layer of the ribs. The smoked peppercorn spare ribs was equally worthy as the baby back because of the peppery touch of the glaze and marinade. I will definitely go back and try their other dishes! š
Their servers here are very accommodating too! The make you wear (just right before you eat your ribs) this cute hippy bib that says either "In pork we trust" or "Busy eating, please do not disturb." The ambience of the place is also very impressive because of it's western cowboy-conceptualized interiors. It's perfect for any occasion!
It is indeed, the home of sticky bones. Rather, home of the best finger-licking ribs in the Metro!
The restaurant that is best known as the "Home of Sticky Bones". They never fail to deliver delicious and tender barbecued pork ribs, which is baked and smoked for hours, grilled to perfection, and basted with their special homemade barbecue sauce. The sticky-gooey texture that results from this process is what is known as their trademark "Sticky Bones".
For our starters, we ordered Sesame Shrimp Salad (P445). Mixed salad with peeled oranges, apples, tomatoes, sesame seeds, spring onions, red chillies and blanched juicy shrimps with homemade oriental dressing. A great and tasty way to kick off a comforting meal, this plate is absolutely ideal for sharing.
After polishing off the appetizers, we tucked into Ribs Sampl3r.(P3,295) in which you can get to choose 3 of Morganfield's signature sticky bones combined into 1, the melt-in-your-mouth, falling off-the-bone texture and delicious taste that you canāt find in local pork. We were a group of 6 and the servings is just perfect to fill our growling tummies - everybody happy!
Morganfieldās is absolutely a casual diner-style restaurant with great-tasting comfort food, along with friendly service and a welcoming ambiance. Itās a great choice for a birthday dinner, night out with friends, filling weekend lunch, or whenever youāre just in the mood for some deliciously satisfying, flavourful, juicy pork ribs!
The place is well decorated, with staff waiting outside to greet you, with menus and what i think was the store owner. We were ushered into the place, where you eat on what appears to be some sort of work table on wrought iron legs? Looks like the inside of a factory. They must have put in alot of time decorating. The ambience of the place was of a homey backyard watering hole from louisana :)
We had the jack daniel ribs with sesame something salad, the gf ordered mango graham cake float and i had tinas ice tea. The salad was served with multiple tin slices of green apple with shrimp and crunchy wanton-like ribbons, which was pretty tasty. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone soft, with a slight hint of sweet sticky jack daniels sauce, served on the side with crunchy giant onion rings that tasted like deep fried beer batter, and a serving of coleslaw. The ribs were pretty good, and before we knew it, it was a pile of bones on my plate. :) would we come back? Of course. Yun nga lang, i ended up paying p2,200 for casual date night. The foods kinda pricey. The cornbread is like p80 for a chunk of single serve cornbread.
