Great tacos! Hand made corn tortillas rolled out in front of you. I highly recommend the Spicy Brisket taco and the Cuban beef taco. The Shrimp tacos are also good. Simple and delicious with cilantro and onion in each bite. Not your Taco Bell taco. No sour cream, salsa, tomatoes etc. Just meat, onion and cilantro on a fresh double stack corn tortilla. Only complaint was that they did not have any cold beer. I was hoping for a San Miguel Pale, but there was none in the fridge. Ended up having a red horse instead.
My fave go-to Mexican Resto in Aguirre. I will never get tired of ordering their burrito and chicharones taco. Simply the best!
Chucks Quesadilla, so far the best Quesadilla I've ever eaten. Went back here for Nostalgic reasons and boy, they still have it. Food is great, staff are very attentive and friendly, and prices are just right. Will be back again! Cheers to the couple owners! 🍽 please branch out somewhere north, please?
The only Mexican food I would recommend in the South!
--- one of the best taco resto in bf! Yum yum yum! Bring your friends and family and try their specialty! You will not regret #DrivingbyTaco!

Grew up in SoCal with Mexicans. So I know my Mexican food! I must say one of the best spots (if not the best) Mexican spots in the country. It is a must try!
Still the best for me! Hope to head down south again to eat the best ever chili beef bowl <3
This is our new weekend thing! Always here every Saturday, rain or shine! Food, ambiance and service is f#cking awesome! Big props to the 4 man crew for always layin out good service and great food! So far this is the best new taco shiznit in town! Food and tortillas are cooked and made a la minute! Guaranteed fresh! Shop is usually packed on weekends but who cares. Its a taco shop forget about sitting down and getting comfortable. Just enjoy the vibe and savor the moment. Chicharones, pulled beef and horchata is the bommmmmb! Thank you taco gods!
5 straight weeks! We have been dining here every weekend because this is the most reasonable, delicious, handmade Mexican food I have ever tasted. Staff is nice, owners are hands on and most especially taste is awesome. FYI... My wife is not a Mexican food fan but she goes with us every time. ❤️❤️❤️
comfort food at its best.. accommodating staff. two thumbs up in my book ;)
The best mexican resto in the South! Reasonably priced, fresh and delicious comfort food.
Dang. Good. Burritos 🌯. You must get the Chicharrones one. Tacos are tasty too. You need to try the Horchata too!
Amazing food! Friendly staff. Simple yet tasty and unique. Big ups coz its not a pretentious menu like most of the restaurant now a days! By far the best tacos ive tasted here in Manila. Dont compare it to the tacos you get to eat in the states. I think they are trying to express themselves thru their food. Respect to restaurateurs and chefs who goes out of comfort zone and try new things for us to experience. We will back for the other offerings they have!
I always visit this place almost every week. Kilala na kami ng mga staff. I like places na pang small crowd, simple menu and good food. I recommend their sisig tacos, nachos and of course you have to pair it a drink - horchata. It balance your palate specially it's spicy. I always request some extra cilantro for my nachos.
My girlfriend and I frequent this shop because the food, service, and their playlist are worth coming back for. Lengua tacos and Chicharron burrito are my go-to orders, but almost everything we order from their menu is 👌.
AWESOME NACHOS! My go-to place for cheat days and definitely worth every penny! This deserves 6 stars to be honest. Order their chorizo nachos and you'll see what I mean.
Their corn tortillas were made fresh in-house. It can’t get any better than that. Their horchata was one of the best tasting I’ve had, perfect ratio of milk to cinnamon.
Tacos are really the bomb! I end up ordering the Extra Spicy Pulled beef all the time, but the rest of the menu is to die for. I’d score it an A++++
This place has a really good variety of tacos that you can choose from! My personal favorite is their extra spicy pulled beef. Definitely try their horchata drink for something different on your visit!

Went here craving for some Mexican food and went home happy. I tried the steak burrito, chicharonne taco and the bangus kilaw with dulong tostada. All of it were good. I only wish they had better sauces. But overall, thumbs up!
✔️ personal favorites: chicharones tacos and burritos, beef nachos and cheese garlic quesidillas❤️
✔️ try the horchata drink 😊
✖️ space is small and very limited tables
✖️ crew looks always tired and not that courteous
Simple and yet delicious. The pricepoint is very reasonable. Nothing much to add from here. Hoping they open a little earlier though so I can have lunch or something there
Looking for a quick bite? Try this place out. Quick service. Delish food.
Always ask what is "off" the menu. I will always come back for their quick bites.
Simple and unassuming, this place serves no frills mexican food that has makes you keep coming back for more. Perfect with a cold bottle of beer.
La Chinesca will always be my favorite taco place in BF Homes, but Drive-By Taco Shop makes an excellent 2nd place in my books. For one, they have far more seating and they have a more extensive menu, from which we ordered the Chicharones with crispy pork belly and the Red Horse battered tilapia.
The taste isn't quite the same level, but still very delicious. I would probably give them a 4.5 if not for La Chinesca!
Best Taco in the freaking South! I always order the extra spicy pulled beef soft Taco along side Chicken Quesadilla. Now I that I live in Antipolo, I always find time to drive all the way to Sucat just for that.
The food was authentic. The soft shell tacos were to die for. Their drinks were something I've never had before but it had the flavor of Mexican cuisine. #chigano #tacoislife 👌💯🌮
This is one of my favorite mexican dishes for a student budget! I love the mix of flavors here especially the silantro. The place is small so it’s better to go before the peak hours start. The staff is very friendly + there’s a car wash beside it too
I like the vibe/ ambience, they have ample parking. The place was intimate and chill, and service was great also. 👌🏻
We ordered their best sellers Chicharones Soft Taco, Beef Sirloin Steak Soft Taco and their Beef Nachos. I love the freshly made tacos and nacho chips, it was light and there's texture but the overall taste for me was just okay, it needs more flavor and acidity. The price for the serving is sulit na.
Silantro is still my go-to for Mexican food but will surely go back.
Yummy and in-expensive mexican quick fix! Their chicharones tacos is to die for! 👌🏻 spicy pulled beef is good also. You know you're eating fresh tacos when you see it made in front of you. Great ambiance. Great music. Great staff. Great food. 👏🏻
I love those mini soft tacos! The variety of their food is abundant. I wanted to try the mini taco with the ox brain but sadly it was out of stock. However, the lengua mini taco saved the day. Their burrito was really filling and they never shy away with the contents of their burrito. Plus I love it how they make the fresh soft tacos, you can even watch how they make it.
Love the food & the cozy ambience. It's just a small place, most of the tables are outside so it will be difficult to get a table when it's raining. Not much varieties on alcoholic drinks, a wine (red & white) would be good to add.
well nag visit ako last time dito.! i die for tacos and nachos. ang sarap sobra.. pero ang pinaka ayoko yung mga crew.! mga nakasimagot. yun lang naman.. thank you.
Ansabe ng Army Navy?! Joke. Drive By's menu is reasonably priced and a shocker. That is one huge burrito enough for me and my jowa to feel full. The quesadillas is really cheesy. I'm not complaining except for my boyfriend who is lactose intolerant hahaha. If only BF Homes is easy to reach and have a cheaper trike fare, i'd DRIVE BY here a lot. 😉 But I will definitely come back!!!
I loved that they do their own tortilla. Good serving of nachos. Need more drink options. The staff are friendly and the abiance is good. Pwede ka magdala ng kids kasi di siya mausok na place. Would try the burrito next time
Been going here for a quick Mexican fix. I've tried almost all their Tacos and my fave is their Chicharones. Love their hefty serving of Beef and Chili Beef Bowl Nachos, their cheese and jalapeño and beef brisket quesadillas. Today we opted to try their Beef Sirloin Steak and Chicharones Burritos. I bet all these are as awesome as their other variants. Great food for a reasonable price. 👌👌👌👌👌
The food was very good, The soft taco was very good! I just wish the serving was big, I guess it’s a tactic so you’d order more.. and the place could really use an extension. Thank you to all the staff.
Super love the place. Awesome food, awesome service and such a chill place to hangout to. Suggest to try their nachos in chili corne dip always my fave 🔥
Passed by DRIVE-BY after having dinner, and got their chicharones! It was alright, flavorful and not too salty. The place was full when we got there so, we had to stay in the bar area wherein we got to see how things were being done. Overall, the experience was fine I just hope they expand!
The best tacos in the Philippines! My favorite is the ox brain tacos. Parking is scarce during peak hours so best to come here during off peak. It’s not about the ambiance - you’re at the wrong place if you looking for ambiance. But if it’s really good tacos that you want come and visit Bf Pque and you won’t be disappointed.
Me and my boyfriend came to BF homes browsing for a decent dinner fix. He LOVES Mexican food but is almost always dissappointed by the lack of authenticity here. Still, we had to go for it.
Ambiance is nice. Simple cute and cosy.
My boyfriend being the fat kid that he is obviously had to order the biggest thing on the menu which was the steak burrito, and just in case that wasn't enough he also ordered the chicharones taco.
I ordered the chicken calamansi/tequila taco and being a bit adventurous I also ordered the hoisin and sriracha fish taco.
Now let me just say that it is worth coming here for the homemade tortillas alone. Holy shit. If you're sat inside you can watch them make them by hand. Drool-worthy!
I would rate the chicken taco a solid 10/10 no doubt. fresh, plentiful serving of chicken. Well marinated with generous cilantro and lime to squeeze on top. each taco order comes with two tacos, and I believe these are made with corn (yellow colour?)
My boyfriends burrito he would rate an 8/10. Good size nice and fat, very well rolled, perfect tortilla once again, and generous meat. The only thing he was disappointed in once again is that the meat should steal the show with a burrito. It really should just have a solid marinade to be left in for a good few hours. This he felt was just plain seasoned steak. Not bad, just not amazing.
My fish taco was last to arrive.
It did take a while but what a combination! Pieces of breaded fried white fish in a sticky/spicy sauce with chunks of pineapple. In fact couldn't be further from authentic Mexican but this tasted so, so good! it reminds me of sweet and sour chicken sauce. For those feeling a bit different or adventurous this one will not let you down.
The only reason I didn't give this place a 5 is because nothing screams Authentic Mexican more than a good salsa or pico de gallo and guacamole, but unfortunately there was none. Just a weird regular tomato paste on the side. Please introduce some salsa!!!
Overall fantastic food, okay service and good affordable menu!
Not authentic Mexican food but wow the food actually tastes amazing. I would recommend their burrito and tacos. The only thing lacking in my opinion is an ample amount of salsa and maybe add some guacamole to the mix for an improved gastronomical experience.
Me and my love's favorite on the go chillax place. Everything is good from the ambiance, service, crew and their food! Their nachos and tacos are sooo damn good! 👌
Highly recommended for the foodies out there! 😊
Drive-by Taco Shop is literally a drive-by taco shop. It's conveniently located along Aguirre Ave, a stone's throw away from bars and shares a block with a car wash. This is the boo's recommendation, and I must say, it is such an awesome restaurant packed in a tiny space.
The boo ordered a Chicharones Burrito and I chose a Cheese and Jalapeno Quesadilla.
The Quesadilla arrived first, and it was everything a quesadilla should be, filled with melty hot cheese, huge slices of jalapeno, with their tomato salsa on top. Be careful when eating this right away as the cheese may burn your tongue. It was perfect, and I love how all the different components meshed well.
May I say how I love their tortillas, hand-rolled and made right there in front of you.
The Chicharones Burrito was the boo's pick and he cannot wait for me to taste it. I drizzled some creamy mayo garlic dressing, with a bit of the numbing chili sauce, and bit onto my half of the burrito. One word hit me, divine. It's a perfrct bite. The crunch of the chicharones and the flavors of the rice, with the spices and all plus the soft tortilla were just pure heaven. I don't wanna eat up my half all at once, for fear of running out. It makes you wanna ask that ubiquitous question - What sorcery is this?!?!
The taco shop is small, and has that beach house vibe going on with chairs and tables up front and a bar where you can just sit and watch the kitchen make your order. I like that it is small, as it does live up to its name of being a drive-by shop. You can text your order in advance and pick-up. They will gladly take your order to your car. The staff were amazing, very friendly and answered all questions you have regarding their food. They respond fast too on IG! I posted our food photos right away and received a heartfelt comment from the shop's owner via IG. I am quite impressed with this taco shop, I don't know why it took me this long to eat out here! Definitely on top of my list for restos here in BF!
Situated in a “spot” that’s both rustic and functional, the ambiance adds to the experience. They do tacos right. I had the Chicharones and Horchatas. The crunchy pork pieces and homemade tortillas was fantastic.
Reasonably priced. This is one of my top 10 spots in BF Homes Paranaque. They never let me down. Try their fish tacos as well.
Finally after how many months, we finally had the chance to pass by Drive By Taco shop. So the shop isn't really that spacious but it feels like a Mexican drive thru (the name). We ordered the Beef Nachos (Php 210), Veggie Burrito (Php 195) and the Chicharones Taco (Php 125). Honestly, visually, it was very appealing. The lighting within the resto makes it really good for IG worthy photos (yey look at how sexy my photos are).
And now for the taste, the beef nachos were the bomb. It really tasted so good! Very mexican that really stays with you. The Chicharones taco was fair enough, lacked a little on the flavours. However the Veggie Burrito took the lead, it didn't even feel like it was filled with only vegetables tbh. Two thumbs up for this place and will definitely be back!
When I think about DRIVE-BY Taco Shop, what comes to mind automatically is Chicharones and Quesadillas (Cheese and Garlic).
I thank my friends for introducing me to this mexican gold mine.
Place is always full. Best to come at 8-10pm so you can watch the chefs prepare your food inside which is pretty cool.
Absolutely the best. Delicious food! My friends and I love going here. Kind crew. The vibe of the place is so underrated. There’s beer too if you wanna drink while eating. We will never get tired of this place. Kudos!
Nice neighborhood taco shop feel to it. I've never been to Tijuana but I think it would look something like this.
I ordered the chicken burrito. It took a couple of minutes longer than I expected but that's because when my order arrived everything in it was freshly cooked. It was so hot I had to wait another couple of minutes before I could eat it.
My first bite reminded me of Mission Street in San Francisco where I've the best working man's burrito. I say that with the highest respect. The rice was perfectly cooked, beans were hot and creamy, it had the right amount of chicken, all smothered in melted cheese.
I would definitely come back to this place and recommend it to friends family
Good food! You can watch the chefs hand-roll your bread while waiting for your order. The place is quite small though, best to experience before the dinner rush.
Always my fave go-to mexican resto inside BF Homes as it has always satisfies my craving for taco/burrito. The price is just right for their serving.
The smallest of the three Southern pride when it comes to Mexican food - this place has set itself apart with its unique twist not just on food but with its serving of refreshments as well.
Bad service but really good food. I ordered their Calamansi and vodka chicken street taco and OMG I loved every bite of it. I loved the kick of the calamansi. Plus they make their own tortilla!

Had garlic quesadillas, a steak burrito, and the steak soft tacos. When we got there, they were still making the tortilla, so all our orders were made with a fresh wrap. Absolutely loved it, will definitely come back to try more.
Food is super good. Their Chicken and tequila street tacos is a must try! The service is a bit slow but it's all worth it! The ambiance is super cool!
My fave taco shop! I spent my birthday & anniversary here with mi amor! 💕
We ordered beef nachos & house horchata 💯
It's the best! Very affordable & maraming servings.
Absolutely adore their tacos. Horchata is nice as well! Great value for money. Their nachos are an Experience. You can order beer here too. Definitely coming back here often!
Quality food for affordable price. Not so many seats around, maybe that's why it's called "Drive-By". Good service. Good food. Good vibe. Don't order too much, 'cause it will become umay at some point.
Whenever I crave for something close to authentic mexican tacos, Drive by taco shop is the place to be. They use corn masa for their tacos. My wife enjoyed their food too. Their kitchen team is also friendly!
My mother, brother and I had lunch here just now. Grabe ang sarap ah. At malaki pa serving. Di ko inexpect na malaki ung burrito. Pang 2 tao. Di ko naubos ung akin kaya tinake out nalang namen. Nabusog aku sobra (take note, matakaw aku at malakas). at tsaka di kamahalan kaya keri lang. Recommend ko to sa friends ko.
I went here with my boyfriend for merienda so we were able to get a table inside because they only open at 4. We ordered the Beef Nachos, the Chicharones Burrito, and the Chicharones Soft Taco. What I love about this place is that you can get really full without spending a lot plus I really enjoyed the flavors of their food. I actually prefer their nachos over Silantro's because the chips are crunchier and they have their own distinct taste plus the toppings they put are good also. I've also tried the Beef Soft Taco and the Paprika Shrimp Soft Taco in a previous visit and all the tacos I've tried here do not disappoint. I especially enjoyed the Chicharones because it gives it a crunch. I also like the fact that you get a bottle of their garlic aioli per table so you can add as much as you want to any of their dishes. All-in-all, really good food for a super affordable price.

Yummy Taco!! My fave would be the beef sirloin steak, my boyfriend loved the chicharones, and their Beef Nachos serving was very generous. Its really good Mexican joint.
Amazing.
I can't even put into words how amazing their dishes are. The ambiance is cool and cozy for me. I love eating on the bar.
By far the best burrito I've had - and I've been to El Chups. And I love a shit ton of cilantro on my plate so yaaaas. Nachos were glorious, too.
And their horchata is amazeballs. Holy crap it was divine and close to authentic.
TAPOS CHEAP PA?? My gulay. 😩
Their staff is accommodating and friendly. They will answer even your most asinine questions 😂
I love this place and how homey it feels. This'll be a staple for me, fosho.

I've been to this place twice already and their food never disappoints. The last time we ordered beef and chicharrones tacos, and these are not the usual ones with folded taco shells. I thought they overdid the cilantro but I was wrong. They were really good!
This time we ordered the tacos again plus nachos. The serving size was so generous and the nachos were crispy and colorful. The nachos was so sulit for 200+php!
Service was also next level. I will go back to this place for texmex cravings😊
Located in a car wash right in BF Homes is this hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant. Once you enter, you’ll be greeted by the sight of someone freshly kneading tortillas and the sound of car vacuums.
Worth the Butterflies in my wallet!! Tasted really Good! Got legit stoked! One of the hidden jewels of the chillest South Side!!!!!!!!! 👏🏿
Visit their place with my officemates and I must say, i looooovvveeee their chicharones in soft taco bread. Thank you for the staff who suggested that dish to me. The crunchy chicharon complements the soft taco. I'm not that sure if they are just new in bf but i suggest that they have a bigger place. We ate outside. It's quite hot and some kids went to us asking for money. :( but overall i love their food ❤
Its the best taco shop in BF next to papichulos. There i said it.
You wont get drunk by eating tacos here lol. Try the chicharones and you'll thank me later. Yes, message me here and say thank you for making this review and having me try that chicharones hahaha
All the food here are delicious specially the tacos. The burito is so big that it is fit for two. You can also see them how they prepare the food just in front of you. My fave drink here is their house horchata (yummeh). However, the place is too small so if you're going by group you'll be having a hard time to find seats even though they tables and chairs outside. But, overall, the food itself is delicous 👌🏼
Been eating here a few weeks straight now. Already brought my friends and family and they all love me for it. Almost ordered all the items in the menu. I must say drive by tacos is a legit taco place. Name all the good things you want in a restaurant and you'll find it here. Why do i say this?
Food 5/5😊 the tacos which are very simple and easy to eat will really surprise you. Yea they are just good for one but it is really flavorful and delicious. The pricing is very reasonable too. Ive been based in mexico and us for years and i can truly say that their tacos can be compared to the ones ive eaten in mexico and us, or driveby is much better! Plus they always have a hotsauce and sour cream within reach. The burritos ae huge and delicious as well, try the chicharones. That one is my favorite. All in all the food is great the ingredients really complements each other. Good food that doesnt hurt your pocket.
Ambience 4/5 the place is really small and tends to be packed all the time. But hey its a taqueria right? If you dont like being uncomfortable and eating while standing maybe this is not the place for you. Go eat in wendys!😝for me this is perfect, i love the rebellious vibe they are projecting for you. The place also looks clean all the time even when they are busy.
Staff and sevice 5/5: the staff, oh i love these guys who hustle hard day in, day out for this joint. Watching them makes me happy, i can really see that they are so passionate and loving with what they are doing. They are so attentive and friendly but sometimes a little patience would help since theu cannot attend to you right away because they are busy with lots of other customers.
To sum things up this taco joint is really killing it here in the south. Ive been to other taco shop here in Aguirre all of them are good and great but this one is my favorite!
Place is small but I think that's what they're going for. I got a quesadilla and nachos while I was there and it was pretty good and worth what I paid.
Our to-go to place. Quantity and quality of food is superb for its price. Attentive and courteous staff. Downside is if you want to get drunk here, no bathroom. Just wash area. However, there is a car wash beside it and a bar named G-Spot which we think are owned by one management, it is still quite hassle to go inside a bar whereas you're eating outside. Make sure your tanks are empty before going. Hard parking area too. Lastly, every time we are here, there is no oxbrain taco! Pls do something abt it. We've been here like 5+ times and it's quite sketchy. Remove it from the menu if wala tlga huhu
Cool place I must say. Their food goes with it. Nachos are superb paired with beer. Veggies are pretty fresh and their colorful chips looks enticing. Good place also if you need a car wash while munching and boozing.
I was always curious about this taco shop every time we pass by it. Finally, my tita and I had the chance to go here last thursday after we shopped at penthouse. The place looks so cozy and "instagrammable". Now for the food, I ordered their beef sirloin steak taco and it was so sooo good!!! The beef was not that chewy and I love how the cilantro gave the taco a fresh taste. I also tried putting sour cream, and oh my, it was so delicious! The fact that they make their own tortilla gave it a plus for me. I would definitely come back and try more of their food. Another must try here in the south!
I hope your number is always contactable..always been wanting to try your food for delivery but couldn't reach you.
It's a duo number hope you can add an alternate or a mobile number maybe??
Too good!! Absolutely in love with their nachos 😍 And the quesadilla is literally filled with cheese (worth the price! ❤) I will definitely come back again.. and again

so far the best one in bf homes. awesome ambience, great staff and very interesting food selection. first timers should try the chorizo quesadilla. will come back here a lot.
Their burritos are good, also get the nachos with jalapenos here (must try)... they got horchata too! The best place to get mexican food if you're from paranaque, alabang or las pinas area.
This place ROCKS!!! The best tacos and burritos this side of the metro. Friendly staff, great owners, Fantastic food. Get there early as the place tends to fill up quickly. The area is small but very cozy.
I've come across a couple of Instagram posts of my friends claiming that Drive-By Taco Shop has the best tacos which is why here is where I decided to celebrate my birthday!
Their Beef Nachos were unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The cilantro took the otherwise common nachos to a whole new level of deliciousness. I also liked how their jalapeños weren't spicy. Sarap papakin!
Them being a taco shop, the group couldn't not order tacos. We had, arranged by deliciousness, Chicken in Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce, Red Horse Battered White Fish, Pineapple Express Pork Sirloin, and Beef Sirloin Steak. The Chicken in Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce was so good, I wish it was my order. I was particularly sad with the Pineapple Express Pork Sirloin because (1) this was my order and (2) this is probably the first time I got disappointed with any pineapple dish.
Being the over-orderer that I am, I also had their Chillichanga. It was too heavy so I had to take the rest home but even as leftovers, it still tasted really good.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to try their quesadillas which look really good (at least in pictures) but fortunately, this gives us a reason to come back!
Best taco/burrito place in the south! We ordered the cheese and garlic quesadilla and chicharones burrito (definitely a must try!) This is the place to go if you're craving for budget-friendly mexican food!!
The nachos are really delicious, and the serving size is big enough for 2-3 people sharing. We also ordered the chorizo quesadillas. It's a good place to hang out in if you want good food and good service.
Go-to taco shop in the south. Authentic Mexican food & drinks at affordable prices. 🖒🖒
Only drawback is the lack of parking, especially on weekends. But it's really not this establishment's fault. Consider this a friendly warning.
This small restaurant is a local version of an actual Mexican shop in the suburbs of the US.
It's petite, it's beside a car wash, and it's very tasty.
It's one of the best Mexican meals I've had.
Simple, classic Mexican dishes are served, as well as the "Mexican pricing". It is very affordable that you can bring a family of 10 and feed them twice on a minimum wage salary.
Drop by, grab a seat, order a burrito and watch yourself lean back with gratitude and fulfillment.

I've heard a lot of good things about Drive By so when I spotted it around the area, I decided to try the place out. The shop's funky colors make it easy for you to spot it. And it's right next to a carwash, in case you need a landmark.
I chose to have their Cheese And Garlic and Cheese And Chorizo Quesadillas. I loved both variants especially the cheese and garlic one. As much as the food is good, I hope that the servings could be a bit bigger. I was "nabitin" with my quesadilla.
Wouldn't say it was expensive to eat here and it's nice to swing by here for snacks. Place is just a bit cramped up but it was all good. Wouldn't mind going back here.
Finally had a chance to sit down and order. We were happy with everything we ordered. Pulled beef quesadillas, beef burrito and beef nachos. My only complaint is the use of too much cheese sauce, would have preferred freshly grated. Also for some reason, the jalapeños were not spicy at all.
A CHEAPER VERSION OF EL CHUPACABRA.
My favorite was their Beef nachos which can be good for three persons. It was cheesy and meaty all the way! just perfect with beers ordered from G-spot. Yes! you can order from them and get your beer served on your table.
We also ordered quesadillas which tastes really good. The serving was small but cheesy goodness will explore on your mouth the moment you dig in. Its quite similar to what I've tasted from El chupacabra.
Overall, its a must try for anyone who's looking for a hearty light snack!
Looking around for some place cheap
Found this place from a friend's tip
Next to a carwash, the room be cramped
The price on the food got us amped
Sirloin taco and chorizo quesadilla
Tastes so good! shouted mama mia
Chili beef nachos good for two
Lotsa jalapenos made it real spicy too
Overall the food was quite lit
Go early and get a place to sit
You'll have to drive carefully along Aguirre if you do not want to Drive By this Taco Shop, literally! I passed this place on my first visit, and had to make a U-Turn to go back!
Do not be fooled by the small shop... Their servings are HUGE (by my standards, at least)! My family and friends know that it takes a lot to fill up my gas tank... More often than not, I bring home half of my Beef Sirloin Steak Burrito every time I eat here. That says a lot.
Their Nachos come in vibrant colors, compared to the usually dull yellow chips served elsewhere. And, again, their servings are good for 2-4 hungry amigos/amigas! My friend swears by Drive-By's Pulled Brisket Quesadillas (she often orders 2!), while I love Drive-By's Beef Sirloin Steak Burritos! Paired up with a glass (or 2!) of Horchata, and I'm a happy camper!
Come by for early dinners (a little past 4-5pm) if you want to miss the crowd and find good seats (and parking!) to enjoy your meals. For me, Drive-By would be the closest I could get to the authentic Taco and Burrito trucks in Los Angeles.
Currently my favorite restaurant in BF! Not only is it affordable but their food is on point. Perfect for those chill dates or dinner with your buddies.
Their nachos are one of the best I've eaten. The chips are lightly toasted and crunchy while you can really taste the spices on the meat toppings. Their chili nachos are amazing as well.
The tacos are great too! My favorites are their Cubano and Pineapple express. Their tortillas are handmade, soft and you can still taste that hint of corn.
Finally, what I always order here & a must-try is their horchata. The perfect drink to pair with your Mexican food.
The first time we drove here, it was already past 12mn which we were not accepted to dine so we went back the next day. We have ordered soft shell tacos with 2 different meats: beef and goat and both were amazingly good, soft and very flavorful. they also make their own tortilla wraps which is good, however, the quality is not. Maybe not the right ingredients that were used?
We also tried their house horchata and taste refreshing. The drnk seems to be made from coconut milk with a touch of cinnamon.
Overall, good but pricey cause from what we ordered, its at P110-140 for a 1 pc taco -small serving (grrr should ordered burrito instead). The waiting time is looooong before your order is served (45mins, i should say?)
Very affordable mexican place in the South. Loved the beef nachos and cheese and garlic quesadilla. The chicharones burrito was good too, better if you put a lot of garlic sauce.
If there was a restaurant I wish I could help build, it would be this. I wish they had a much much much bigger area for the restaurant because I would love to bring my family here! It's no place for a group of 9 :(
I enjoyed the food that my boyfriend and I ate: he had a burrito, I had the tacos and we had side order of quesadilla. At first I thought the taco serving was too small but looks are deceiving.
Would go back here every time I get the chance!
Chirichanga ftw! Place is a bit small. Guess, the idea is like a food truck. Kinda pricy for 300+ chirichanga but its all worth it! Will definitely try other food items.
Best Mexican restaurant in the south! Food was really good and they always serve generous amount of ingredients. The only thing I don't like about it is that their place is too small. They should transfer to a bigger place to accommodate more customers.
It was my first time to try this taco/burrito shop since I love Mexican food and all I can say is, it is one of the best burrito shop that I've tried. Worth the wait and affordable price. I'll definitely go back to this place with my friends! 💖
We've been here three times already and each visit was just finger-licking good (pun-i tended) coz eating their food especially their nachos and tacos is a very messy experience. Their beef nachos and cubano tacos is our staple but during my last visit, I decided to try their fish tacos for a change --- big mistake. They used tilapia fillets which is fine (I like tilapia) but the particular flavor of their fish was just so muddy and off-putting that thinking about it now, I should've sent it back and had it replaced for something else. Anyway, that's my only negative experience with any of their offerings. They introduced new items in their menu and one of them is the chillichanga....must try! So damn good but so darn rich. It's really big too. I recommend this place for Mexican street food lovers!
