One of the first places I’ve been to in the South. Their dishes make you feel at home. Will definitely add it to my list of go to places when I’m craving for comfort food.
Since this is the nearest pancitan in my area i tried to order for my father's b-day, its quite amazing that the food here are really delicious.. Specially there pancit malabon, now..everytime i have no time to cook for an special occasion..i always ordered food here.
FOOD QUALITY: 3/5
we ordered: kare kare - sauce is okay. Could be a bit better, maybe a little bit more peanut butter taste.
Lumpia- its reminds me of home. Good ol' lumpia shanghaii
Sago't gulaman - my fave out of all. Its really good and refreshing

I love their Crispy pata, so tender, juicy snd crispy! I didn't like their Lumpiang Sariwa though, too bland for me. Chopsuey is good, too. Overall, price is just right.
Food and price- their pork sinigang is superb! Not too sour and not too salty. There is enough meat for 2-3 persons, not enough veggies though. Price of Sinigang is 145 pesos! 😊👍🏻😊👍🏻 very affordable, super worth it, best buy!
We intended to buy Daing na Bangus but was told bu the waiter it isn’t boneless so we ordered lumpiang shanghai instead. This is the first and last time that we will have this dish from this place. It tastes like extender. All wrapper no meat. 😑 👎🏻 so not worth 95 pesos. Even the sauce fell short of expectation. I am not sure if it was just my imagination or their lumpia sauce really has a faint taste of my childhood plastic balloon. 🙄
Ambience- air-conditioned, clean and well kept 🌿. The interiors are really pleasing to the eye 🌻. But the foul smell of garbage from outside the establishment seeps in and lingers. 😷🤧👾
Parking is only good for 3 cars 🚗🚕🚙 and a bike. 🚲
Service- courteous staff.
Worth another visit? Hmmm, if parking is available. But the food is definitely worth trying again. Mr. Chamen wants to try the Pork Binagoongan. I will have Sinigang again. 😊
On second thought, they do offer delivery so maybe we can just have the food delivered. 🛵 😊😊

Their Cripsy Binagoongan is very good!!! 😍 One of my easy to dine and to go resto here in our place, especially when you want the "Lutong Bahay" feels.
Lola Idang's had always been an old reliable for quick fixes or heavies when home-cooking takes a day off. Not too certain how long they've been cookin' up their kick-ass noodle dishes but had certainly maintained its relevance in the midst of tight competition in the area
I've had countless visits planned & spontaneous making it one of our family's local staples in the neighborhood. Place is perpetually busy be it diners, pick up or delivery so sometimes disappointing that some food choices run out. As the store is usually packed, it's good that they've expanded & made their interiors visually refreshing w/ a garden-theme & improved ventilation.
Lola Idang's bread & butter had always been their pancit malabon where toppings are fresh & plump while the sauce defining its character. Their pancit canton is also formidable w/ generous top ups of seafood, chicken liver & veggies. Their Lomi is an upgrade from that of other noodle shops in the district. Soup is rich, heavy & seasoned very well to compliment the strings giving that absolute comfort food feel
My favorite is their Binagoongan - Pork belly columns deep-fried to crunchy perfection coated w/ rich shrimp paste bursting w/ flavors & angst. When you get your hands around this, be sure to have a 2nd serving of rice ready...trust me
I also like their all day breakfast selections - Tapa & Tocino on garlic rice as well as their version of spring rolls in peanut sauce & lumpiang shanghai. The Rellenong Bangus or meat stuffed milkfish & crispy pata are also must trys to maximize the indulgence. Again, for optimum indulgence, be ready w/ your extra rice before you engage.
One of the best local restaurant I would recommend. If you wanna eat filipino food without feeling outside your homes, go here at lola idang's! Just to warn you guys, they are fully loaded during sundays because most families dine here after mass from the church just right in front of their restaurant.
Delivered their famous pancit and shanghai ...
To the phone ordering and delivery went smoothly Good service and really taste yummy ...
Were definitely order again soon
One of the best place to eat home cooked meals!
When you eat here, you'll never feel that you've been rob. All of the food from their menu is so affordable.
Their kare kare is good for 3 persons it will only cost 190 for dine in and it tasted very delish.
I also love their crispy pata since it's not oily and does not have that umay effect.
The chopsuey is also a must try from the menu.
Don't go home without trying their pancit malabon. The seafood on the pancit taste really good.
One of the problem in this place is the parking area, but other than the parking I highly recommend the place.
The food here always brings us in good mood. Literally. We already tried almost all of their dishes and can't complain on any. Our favorites are crispy pork binagoongan and pancit malabon. I don't give reviews often but this restaurant deserves one because of their consistent service. I read a few reviews about their poor crew service but we didn't experience that in numerous times we ate there.
I recommend this restaurant overall.
Lola Idang's is a food icon in Better Living tho I know they also have a branch in BF .I frequent this place not to dine there but for take away, for those "tamad magluto days" .My favorites are crispy binagoongan, the lumpia ubod (both fried and fresh) ,crispy pata and of course pancit malabon. The lumpia ubod is superb way better than the lumpias of some fast food joints ,they put real ubod and not sinkamas and the price of their version is a bit cheaper.
The staff are courteous and prompt.overall this local joint in this part of Paranaque deserves a thumbs up.
The only things we ever order here are kare-kare & the crispy binagoongan. This doesn't mean that their other dishes are no good (like their crispy pata and pancit). It's just that these two dishes are what we always look forward to during our visits.
Especially that crispy binagoongan...
Food is great, waiting time not so much you have to wait 45 mins until they serve your food so if your killing time this is perfect medyo masungit nga lang yung ibang crew, dont come here if your super hungry...but the food is very great You will like it here, true filipino comfort food...try their lumpiang shanghai and sinigang best place to eat lunch here
The always reliable Lola Idang's! If you miss home-cooked dishes or you're feeding balikbayans, go to Lola Idang's! Everything tastes good and they serve fast and available anytime! What's more, they have all these pasalubong goodies available every time! Not to mention, the price is very affordable. So if you don't have food for lunch or dinner or even breakfast, go to Lola Idang's!

Our Go-To Place for Pancit take out esp. when we need to feed a large group of people. Their staff were accomodating and approachable but the parking is always packed, it just shows how delicious and reasonable their price is.
This will always be our favorite go to place when it comes to affordabe, home-cooked filipino food. I cannot say anything bad about the food here and I think everyone would agree with me.
This place has been a staple in the Better Living area and at anytime of day, you'd always catch a lot of people here. Whether it be for lunch, merienda and especially dinner. The place is always packed.
You shouldn't leave this place without having their Pancit Malabon. You just shouldn't. It's very very good, loaded and the ingredients used are fresh. Their lechong kawali is also a good choice and pair it up with their Sago't Gulaman, then you're good.
Price is very reasonable. Less than a 100pesos for a good meal doesnt sound bad right? Service was a bit slow tho and their are times that the food wont come out hot. Space was a bit too small as well but you can definitely bring your whole fam here for a great meal. They also do accept takeout for the ones that are on the go. Very good place to it at, highly recommended!
I love Lola Idang's, from their sago't gulaman to their Pancit Malabon, everything is delicious. True home cooked filipino dishes. Actually I think I have ordered everything on their menu, with their food I can't complain but one thing I always think about when I am at the restaurant, is that I notice how slow and almost lifeless the people that work there are but maybe that's just me.

Sarap! Everything's priced reasonably. Great value for money.
Home cooked meals that never fail to impress. Everything is priced just right. No if's, no but's. One of those small-time Filipino Restaurants that every village or town should always have.
And I dare say, the best place to get your dose of Crispy Binagoongan. There is something about the way they prepare their Crispy Binagoongan that keeps me coming back. It's hard to describe, but easier to experience/taste for yourself.
Anyway, it's the best place to have those home cooked meals without the hassle of actually doing it yourself and without needing to spend so much. Imagine Crispy Pata for only around 295 pesos cooked just the way you like it, maybe even better. And if you want to go all out Filipino dining, why don't you get their Sago't Gulaman drink for only around 20 pesos then just reminisce about how lola or mama used to prepare it their way.
So if you're in the area and have a craving for all-time Filipino classics, you should remember Lola Idang's.
NOTE: This restaurant also has random Filipino food items from all over the Philippines that you can buy as "pasalubong" for your relatives abroad like polvoron, peanut brittle, dilis etc.
