Oishi desu ne. Arigato gozaimasu. Watashi wa totemo tanoshi desu!
The food here never fails to make my day. 10/10
If you are looking for an affordable and legit japanese food, this is the place to be! Not that really pleased with the ambiance but was taken over by their really good food.π€
Affordable authentic japanese food. I just hope they will think about renovating the place so it will look tidy. Though I heard from others that they are keeping it that way for tradition.
Tatsunoko is one of my fave places to get my japanese food fix! I super love their Ebi Tendon, Gyudon, and salmon sashimi!!! Super cheap but quality japanese food!

Best Japanese restaurant ever, I went here four times in a row just to eat their dumplings. Their soba is a must try as well. Good food and good value for money. Very authentic!
Very unassuming place, but food was good, servers were attentive and accommodating. Price is reasonable too. Parking is ample. One of my faves in BF homes.
Best kept secret hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant in BF Homes. Tempura, sukiyaki, grilled Saba are our staples here. Building is run down and parking may be a challenge but itβs worth visiting every month or every week!
Very affordable for a very authentic japanese taste. The place is small and can get jam packed, but sooo worth it. They take reservations so i suggest you do before visiting their place. From the outside,it looks like a normal house but when you get inside, you'd feel the japanese vibes. The servings are also big.
Super legit jap food!
I love everything in their menu plus price is very cheap!
Although place is old and needs alot of improvement, we really dont care because the food is superb.
Quick fix for my japanese food cravings!
Was craving for japanese food but was on a budget and this resto did not disappoint!!!
The serving size of the gyoza is a little bigger thannthe regular and it is very filled! no hangin!
The cut if the salmon sashimi was a bit small tho. best to order the dish where the salmon and tuna sashimi are served together since the cuts of the sashimi is bigger.
Tonkatsu was great!! crispy and juicy and very flavourful.
One if the reasons it isnt a 5 star for tho is cos of cleanliness. Saw an small ipis by the counter when we were eating, just lucky it didnt go near our food. Overall experience is great tho and would definitely come back!
This place is a revelation for me. A hole in the wall resto that serves authentic Japanese food. I was totally blown by their Sukiyaki. The sweetnes of the soup is subtle which entices you to have more than to walk away. The beef is tender that your grandma's dentures will stay intact in her gums. The Ebi tempura are big and crunchy. Cali Maki is refreshing and one serving is a mouthful already. Cant wait to go back!
We went here to celebrate one of our friend's birthday since he said it was a great and cozy place. It has a very nice cozy atmosphere since it's basically a house converted to a japanese restaurant. It was also full when we got here so it must be pretty popular around the area. I'll list the things I loved:
Gyudon- their gyudon is really yummy. Plus it's pretty cheap at 250 pesos. I love how they added some glass noodles as well and the noodles were savory on their own. The beef was good. π€
Gyoza- easily one of the best gyozas I've had. They were very big and I love the fried side. They don't skimp on the ingredients and the meat was very flavorful inside. This is a must order. π€
Sashimi- the salmon sashimi was fresh and very good. I liked this a lot. π€π€π€
Tempura- I loovveed their tempura. The shrimps were pretty big in size as well. I loved how it wasn't too much on the tempura batter. This is also a must order. π€
Chicken teriyaki- this was one of the faves in our table. I loved it. The sauce was a great blend of sweet and savory.
California maki- the maki here was very big in terms of size. They don't look like the small shriveled up ones in other places. The maki was great as well. We easily wolfed down our order of this. π€
Overall it's such a great place! π€
The food was superb! It's price doesnt even do justice to the quality of taste. I'd like to commend the Ebi tempura for it's amazing crisp and light feel.
If you are looking for an affordable authentic Japanese food then this is the right place for you. For me, the servings are also good for sharing.

After reading good reviews from Zomato, me and my husband finally decided to try the food at Tatsunoko last Saturday. As much as we would like to enjoy our food, something just seems to be missing in the food they serve. We ordered :
Tamagoyaki - rated this 5/5. My dad is 100% Japanese and the taste is very similar to what he cooks. I highly recommend this.
Futomaki - the rice seems to be overcooked or 'lata'. There is not enough sushi vinegar in the rice thus missing the authentic flavor of a real futomaki.
Gyoza - the flour covering is quite thick. The taste is close to the authentic one but the covering is just too thick.
Yakisoba - according to our server this dish is one of their bestsellers however, there is a missing flavor again. I must say that again my father cooks better Yakisoba. I guess they do not use the specific thick sauce used in cooking yakisoba probably because they are cost cutting? due to the price range of their dishes. That is just my guess.
I have lived in Japan for 7 years so I really know what authentic Japanese food tastes like. I guess their dishes are missing some flavor because of the price range of their dishes so I am guessing they are substituting some ingredients or seasonings in their food to compensate with the cheap prices of dishes they offer in their restaurant.
I have to commend the restaurant though and the reason why I gave them 4 stars is because when my husband accidentally spilled his hot tea on him, the staff were fast in providing first aid remedy and he was also provided a burn ointment. Thank you Tatsunoko for taking care of my husband :)
Legit Japanese food at an affordable price. But they should really renovate the place and make it bigger so they can accommodate more customers π
Their food is good considering itβs affordable price. We kinda hard a hard time finding it, it literally looks like a normal house and the sign outside was small. We had a good experience though. The staff was very kind and quick. We ordered tamago sukiyaki and sukiyaki. I would come back if I had a chance and try out more in their menu.
Lit jap food that is just authentic and affordable. ππ Place was a little crampy maybe because it was a house renovated to be a resto but it adds the japanese vibe of the place. Some of my favorites are their sukiyaki (perfect for rainy days), cali maki, and ebi tempura. π
Food was awesome, cheap and tasty! Authentic japanese food. Best sukiyaki I ever tasted.
Staff not so friendly but it was busy that time.
Ambiance bit gloomy and noisy.
Location looks like an old house along the highway.
Price Cheap.
ππππ
I really like this place. It may seem kind of dingy to some people but I like the atmosphere. Itβs my go-to place for Japanese food at a reasonable price.
The size of the servings for the price that I pay is totally worthwhile. It may not be that, βOmg, this is amazeballs Japanese foodβ but they really execute well what they serve.
Hi this is pinoygourmand! Again guys/gals, you don't need to go to any fancy Japanese restaurant when you try here. Yeah, millennials wanted "IG" feels restaurants but hello, can you just try to eat here and enjoy the food? The place is unique it's like a time traveller place, it's like an old Japanese diner. For me if you're not maselan pero hanap mo eh affordable and really good food try here. I swear order the sukiyaki and California maki ππ» as a foodie, it's okay to enjoy the food rather than spending too much for the food and a hype place but you didn't enjoy what you eat. π this is pinoygourmand, saying "Good Food = Good Mood".
We keep on coming back to this place. When you want to experience real Japanese food. Tatsunoko is the place to be. The place will serve you hot tea for free. The SUKIYAKI is superb! Hands down to that. California maki is cheap for its price. Also the gyoza is all veggies so love it. Tuna sashimi great! I mean everything is great in this plac. The ambience i think is the typical restaurant in Japan. Goodfood at a low price.
If you are after good quality jap food at prices that wont break the bank, this is the right place. Jap staples such as kani salad, gyoza, California maki, salmon sashimi are always reliable. Their fried salmon and chicken lollipop are delicious as well. The yakisoba tho is rather ordinary. Overall, your 1000 pesos will go a long way here.
Our newly favorite jap place!! We so love the food, exquisite and quite affordable. It would definitely fit your high end taste but in a much lower price.

We love this tiny, hole in the wall restaurant. I love their tempura, miso soup and iced coffee! (Which is not on the menu, you have to ask for it) hehe
A little bit expensive but it's worth it. I like how the place is almost hidden and now it's one of my favourite Japanese restaurants around ParaΓ±aque.
Food: I loooove everything I have ordered so far! Tonkatsu, Ebi Tempura, Tamagoyaki, Salmon Sashimi, Gyoza!! π BEST GYOZA EVER!! And Salmon Sashimi! Well, for me.. I hope they just keep their low profile and don't increase their prices. π€
Ambiance: If you're new to the area, you might be hesitant to eat here as it doesn't look like a typical resto. Haha. But it's generally clean inside. Air-conditioned π
Service: The staff are okay. I mean not super friendly, but not masungit. ππ
Don't be fooled by its facade. Tatsunoku offers the best and most affordable Japanese cuisine in the south. Tempura @β±200, California Maki @β±140, Gyoza @β±100... should I say more?
While Iβm not fond of the ambiance of the restaurant. The food is damn good! It tastes authentic and even one of my Japanese friends said it tasted like she was home. Price is reasonable with a generous serving of delicious food. :) A must try for authentic Japanese cuisine
For me, this is the best place to get quality Japanese home cooked meals that has the best price. Food they bring out is always fresh and cooked-to-order so you know you're getting the best they have to offer. I always come back here although sadly not as much as i did before. Personally, this is the best quality Jap resto in BF Homes that doesn't sacrifice quality for low price.
Tatsunoko is nothing fancy when it comes to appearance. It's a house converted to a resto, just a few meters after entering BF Homes from the El Grande gate.
Dont be fooled by the appearance - the food is yummy at a very affordable price. We got the salmon and tuna sashimi, saba and kake udon and paid less than P600. The place can get busy and parking is limited so best to get there during opening hours.
A excellent Japanese restaurant located in BF Paranaque, I will be rating their Food, Doneness, Ambiance, Portion Size, Service and Over all experience.
Food: 4.5/5
Food is outstanding! I usually ordered their EBI TEMPURA + Rice + Rice again + last Rice (if I am super hungry). As for my appetizer I order their TAMAGO and my drink will only be their COLD SERVICE TEA. Why do I order 3 cups of rice? Hmm. They serve me 3 pcs Humungous Ebi Tempura and 2 types of Vegetable Tempura which comes with the Ebi Tempura itself. I realized that Okra can also be Tempura which is my favorite first bite!! I admire the use of local produce and unusual tempura and I love it π.
Tempura is crispy!! Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Who doesn't like that?? I am really happy with its Taste.
Doneness: 4/5
Perfectly cooked shrimp π€ and nice crispy coating.
Ambiance: 2/5
I gave it a 2 because it just a normal house converted into a restaurant. Which I don't find it a bad thing because they serve quality and affordable meals. I don't really mind and I still come back! This is the only restaurant that is acceptable to look that way. In this case, how the restaurant looks is never a problem with me!
I will still eat there even if they don't have an AC unit :)
Portion Size: 5/5
They serve big portions of Ebi Tempura (MUST TRY)
They serve one Jar of Ice Cold Tea for free (upon request).
Service: 4/5
Staff are very nice and attentive which I am Happy about!!! Maybe I already look familiar π
Experience: 4.5/5
Keep it up!! Very satisfied with your service and excellent dining experience!!
Note: My order only costed not more than 350 pesos!
One of the oldest Japanese restaurants in BF. It's a small house that's very easy to miss. After their renovation, it's now brighter and cleaner inside. Order their tendon, yakitori, sukiyaki, and tamagoyaki. Very affordable with big servings.

The seemingly unassuming facade of this hole in the wall restaurant serves the best and most authentic Japanese dishes in the metro. You sure will get MORE that what you pay for. I've been gere many times and the foods are just consistent. Every. Single. Dish. Is. Perfection.
One of my FAVORITE japanese restaurants. Cheap but great food, large serving size of food and really great for sharing. Top dishes for me would be california maki, gyoza, ebi tempura, octopus and the smoked duck.βββββ
A wonderfully cozy place. Food is well priced and the staff is friendly.
Dont expect great ambience but thats okay because the food makes up for it. Sashimi is very fresh and servings are big.
Tempura is okay but not the batter i truly like
Sukiyaki is good and you can ask for extra soup.
Not to mention that the corkage is a max of 200 per bottle. I brought in a single malt and all they charged me was P200. Fantastic!!! So you can just imagine that the scotch went well with the soup
I will surely be back...again and again and again...

My family and I love japanese food. And this place serves an awesome japanese food. Big servings that is good for sharing. Budget friendly too!
Cheapest tekka maki I've ever had. And quite possibly, the best.
I always try something new whenever I visit their place and I have never been disappointed. Ever. Quality japanese food for an affordable price.
Idc bout the place; it's part of the charm. No frills, no kaartehan. Just authentic Japanese food.
A japanese owned restaurant that serves authentic japanese dishes at an affordable price. The place does not look like a restaurant from the outside they just only have a japanese signboard so its a bit hard to find. Many customer in the afternoon limited parking. Loved their Gyudon and iced coffee.
Cheap authentic japanese food. What can you ask for? Their place looks a big shaggy. It's literally a hole in the wall. When it comes to their food, you can never go wrong with their tempura and tonkatsu! Definitely a must-try. They have huge servings too! I'm planning to try their Udon next.
More popularly known as Bentoya in BF Homes, this place offers great Japanese food at very reasonable prices. This had been my go-to Japanese Restaurant even before all the others ones opened in the south.
Bentoya had been in business for a long time, but they never really bothered to renovate. What you see now is how it had always been. Quite old and not too fancy. But the place is always packed!
Whatever is on the outside is well compensated by the food quality. Everything is so good! Must try would be Sukiyaki, Shrimp Tempura and Salmon Sashimi. You'll never go wrong.
Those who are looking for affordable and authentic Japanese food this is a right place to go. The place is a bit old but it is always full because of the good food and the friendly staff.
We almost waited 30mins for us to be seated but I understand since the place is really full that time and there are only few seats available. I just hope that they add more seats to accomodate their customers.
I suggest that you order their best sellers and my personal favorites in their menu which are
Ebi Tempura
Salmon Sashimi
California Maki
Tonkatsu
Gyoza
Overall i love this place and definitely will come back again.
The place serves good food!! π the ambiance and environment is not that friendly but it doesn't really matter cos the food will surely brighten up your day.
price: 3/5
place: 2.5/5
food: 4/5
If youre looking for a cheap authentic japanese food then this one is definitely a must try. I always love their tempura β€ the only down side is i think the place. Not spacious and gets so noisy esp. when the place is crowded. But anyways i came here for the food β€
If you want affordable Japanese foods, go here. MAKI is delicious, at Php135 it's worth it. Better if you here with your friends.
I suggest they should sell ramen too.

Me and my wife just ate here a while ago. Food here was great, and its cheap too. We will definitely go back again here. Two thumbs up πππ
So affordable! Quantity and quality meets. We always go here whenever we crave for japanese foods. Although their parking isn't that capable to host their customers and you might not see it if you don't know where it is because its just a small place. Overall, I think that its a good place to feel that traditional japanese shop somehow.
Friendly staff and affordable food! We ordered their agedashi tofu, miso soup, tamagoyaki, mori soba, sukiyaki, ebi tempura, and katsudon, which were all delicious. What we liked most are their tamagoyaki and sukiyaki. We'd love to go back to try their other dishes. Yay
When you see the place, you will never thought that there is something behind those crooky wooden doors. The place is just normal. But the food...thw food is inexpensive. And it tastes good. Their ebi tempura is huge. You can bring your friends here.
Menu is extensive and taste is good, but I wouldn't go so much as say the flavor is 100% authentic. Interiors are also cramped and uninspiring, and the location is not as convenient compared to other restaurants in BF Homes. Overall just an average place. I wouldn't give this a rating above 4.0.
Entering the place zaps me immediately to those restaurants located in Yaizu Port.
The food is a different matter. Although quite filling & satisfying, it lacks the Japanese flavor.
Place does not serve ramen dishes but more of a variety of Japanese cuisine.
Ambience is classic and homey.
Staff are always bustling around and be prepared to wait in line.
Hidden gem! Authentic japanese food that's very affordable! They don't have enough parking space for their costumers tho. Oh, and they're kind of underman too, so when you come around busy hours expect that your orders will be coming late or worse, not be accommodated. But all in all, the food is great!
I JUST LOVE THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE PLACE. The brick and mortar setting makes you feel you're eating in some suburbs resto in Japan. The food as well are affordably good and has pretty quick service crews that can accommodate everyone in spite of the customer traffic.
Must tries:
Edame seeds- Very tasty! I highly recommend this in the appetizer section
Tako Kyuri- fresh Octopus along with some veggies mixed with sesame seeds
California Maki and Futo Maki
Don Buri Rice Meals -They have a pretty generous serving of these!
Crab salad- taste so good!makes me crave for more
Pale Pilsen for only 35 pesos! served with chilled mugΒ
I 've been here three Β times and I will definitely recommend this place for someone who wants some authentic Β and affordable Japanese cuisine!
We've been passing by this place for the longest time. To be honest, it's a place you'd easily miss because the outside looks old and their signage isn't that noticeable. We went here to satisfy our Japanese munchies and of course... Zomato recommend it. :)
THE GOOD:
+Everything is damn AFFORDABLE
+The quality of the food is worth its price
+Ebi Tempura is big and tastes pretty good
+Accommodating staff
+The restroom is clean
+Menu items have good presentation
THE BAD:
-The tables do not get properly cleaned
-Old furniture
THE RATING:
Lance: 4.0
Larcy: 4.5
The place is ideal for people who want to get Japanese food for cheap. Just don't expect too much so you could appreciate the dining experience.
We are satisfied with the simple yet authentic dishes in this place. To top it off, food is reasonably priced and affordable. We get full every time and it still astonishes us how much the total bill would be so affordable. Len, Arj, and Rose were very good food attendants! Kudos!
best place if you're looking for a quick affordable japanese food. The price is just right for the quality of the dishes. definitely coming back to try their other menu on my next visit.

what i always look for in restaurants is the "feeling" of being home away from home, & Tatsunoko definitely gives me that vibe every time i visit. it's a homy, warm atmosphere without getting suffocated with a lot of other guests. Β their price for food is perfect. it's not cheap but it ain't unreasonable either. my favorite is their Gyoza. i've tasted different Gryozas in different Japanese restaurants, but Tatsunoko's version tops them all. will keep coming back. that's for sure!
+ : My favorite Japanese restaurant'
+ : I love the crowded, small-neighborhood-resto feel of the place.
+ : Food tastes authentic and not overly seasoned.
+ : Looooove their Tonkatsu curry rice, gyoza and makis!
- : The toilet's a common toilet shared by males and females and it's not clean AT ALL. They also do not have soap for handwashing.
- : There's not enough room for seating and sometimes people line up for more than half an hour just to be seated.
- : Servers are not the friendliest.

Hole in the wall, one of the best in south! If youre looking for an authentic quality japanese food with hefty serving, and affordable, try this one. Budget for 4 pax is 1k and that already includes Tempura, tonkatsu, 4 jap rice, sukiyaki soup, and california maki :)
Good food for the price you're paying! Nothing spectacular but for P90 for 6 pieces of Gyoza you can't go wrong! 100 pesos for both the Katsudon and Gyudon rice bowls! Will definitely come back!
Best place to go to if you are craving for Japanese food! The prices are very cheap and serving is pretty good to fill a hungry tummy. Interior and place isnt pretty good though, but the food is really authentic. π―
This is a hidden gem in BF around El grande. It's worth a visit if you're around, especially if you love Japanese food. The place has some homey vibe to it so it's just like you're eating at home. I suggest you order their tempura which is quite big, california maki, pork tonkatsu, chicken barbecue, katsudon, sukiyaki. Some other things I noticed is that their staff is not that friendly, service was okay but not that slow, crowded especially at night, and hard to park. Overall I think their food is good. I haven't tasted one that I didn't liked from their menu and the price for the food is just great (100-300 pesos) considering its Japanese food. you really can't go wrong with this restaurant.
This is my go-to-place for a quick Japanese fix. I never missed ordering their Sukiyaki in all my visits! The place needs some renovation but the food is great overall.
The Koroke is one of my faves here but everything is so good especially for the price. So affordable. I just wish they could have renovated the place but I really don't mind long as they stay cheap π£
This is, by far, the best Japanese place I've been to in terms of food quality's value for money. We had California maki, salmon maki, gyoza (the bomb), miso soup, sukiyaki, tempura, bonito flakes onigiri, sake, tonkatsu and katsudon (regular tasting). We were seven in the group, paid only PHP 1900, and left full enough. Would come back but probably not during the weekend again.
Their service is the reason why I won't give it a 5.
This is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant that serves authentic but affordable dishes. Though the wait for the food is a bit long, it's because they always makes sure their sushi and sashimi are fresh.
They used to be called "Bento-Ya" so you'd still see the sign outside. The physical appearance of the restaurant looks like an old shack, but looks can be deceiving as their food was delicious. You have to come early though if you plan on eating lunch here because they're always full and there isn't much parking space.
The great thing about this place is that the price is way below what you'd pay for in a different resto with similarly-priced food. It's that good. The salmon sashimi is amazing and so is the pork tonkatsu. Wait staff are also very nice.
This is my favorite Japanese restaurant around Bf homes!! I always go here whenever I crave for California Maki. The food here is "sulit" for the price. However, the place looks like an abandoned house and there's no enough space for parking. Also, the service here is not that good. The crews are not that friendly. But this place is good if you love Japanese food βΊοΈπ
This is surely the most affordable but insanely delicious Japanese restaurant I know. Interiors aren't fancy but you go to a restaurant for the food. Their tamago, California maki and ebi tempura are surely their best sellers. Honestly the best maki I've had!
One of the family's favorite restaurant! Well priced and good food. Make sure to order their tempura as their shrimps are HUGE! Only con is the place, almost like a carinderia. Hope they could renovate to have a better ambiance while maintaining their price and quality.
At first you'll get discouraged to come inside this restaurant because of its interior outside. My friend once told me the resto looks like the restaurants in the small villages in Japan.
Food wise, the food taste good. My favorite is their Gyoza and Sukiyaki. I also notice that a lot of Japanese nationals eat in this place. Baka kasi whenever they eat here nalalasahan nila or the same taste din.
Worth your money. πππ
Had late lunch with my mom here last week and though the place was not much to look at, the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered salmon sashimi, california maki, sake sushi and gyoza and it really did exceed my expectations π Can't wait to come back and try their tempura!
Stopped by for a quick meal and to satisfy a craving. Ordered some salmon sashimi and it was delicious!! Their chicken skewers are also very tasty!! Will come back aoon for a real hearty meal! Can't wait!
Me and my Dad were craving for some japanese food so I took him to Tatsunoko one Saturday, lunch time. Upon reaching the old-abondoned-looking house that turned into resto, there were cars parked and 2 tricycles coming with group of friends (Korean/Japanese national). I immediately entered the restaurant. I didn't expect much with the enterior or design as what I've read with the reviews and blogs. I am just after the food. Upon entering, a waitress greeted us and there were only 2 tables available, since I brought along my 2 year old son with me, we chose to sat down by the corner table. The waitress handed me their clearbook menu and we started to choose.
Tuna and salmon sashimi - wanted some mix sashimi but unfortunately it was not available so we had tuna and salmon sashimi.
Futo Maki - 8 pcs of big and tasty maki. It was the biggest yet tastiest futo maki I've ever tasted.
Ebi tempura - 4 pcs of tempura with 2 eggplant. I almost thought that our order was wrong. But I checked the table beside us who also ordered tempura and saw there was free 2 pcs eggplant.
Sukiyaki- Served in a pot, not really hot when it came to our table. It has lots of beef, tofu, veggies and noodles. I know sukiyaki must be sweet but for me the taste is just right except for it's a little too sweet for my tastebuds.
Overall, our bill was 880 pesos with 1 bottle of beer, 1 can of soda and extra japanese rice. Not bad for a good and authentic japanese food. The service is quite slow considering there are only 3 to 4 servers and that the place is packed and customers come and go.
I will go back and bring the rest of the family here
You know you're eating at the right Japanese place when there are a lot of Japanese eating there - and that's exactly what happened last night in Tatsunoko. Serving size was reasonable for the price. Overall the menu is cheap; you can get that plate of big Ebi Tempuras for Php200 and it's full of shrimp and not just breading! Tuna sashimi was okay but again, we're considering the price here. Don't expect much on the interiors however, I think it's really supposed to look like that (you'll understand when you see it π)
I cannot think of anything bad to say about Tatsunoko. We finally found this little gem hidden on El Grande Ave and ate a delicious, filling, and unbelievably cheap meal. Our two-year-old daughter loved it too, not phased by chopsticks or even wasabi. The maki was fresh, the vegetables crunchy, and everything was full of flavor. The only thing we could think after eating here was when shall we come back.

Very affordable restaurant in BF homes, their tempura is crunchy even if we ordered take out, you can order maki as much as 60 pesos, and I really love their sukiyaki. One of the cheapest authentic Japanese resto in BF but their quality of food is best.
A hidden gem in BF. The thing about this place is that they give out huge servings with such a sweet price. You could buy a lot with 500. The food quality is good, too. Their salmon tastes fresh. The california maki is okay. Again, very cheap for it's quantity. Haha. Their kani salad is okay, too. I'd prefer if it's cold, though. A good place for a Japanese fix with a low budget.
A great find restaurant. Affordable yet well maintained and delicious food. The price range here is around 100 β 130 pesos, take note this is Japanese food, so itβs very affordable for that type of food.Β
One of the best japanese food finds in BF. The place is not that inviting but it creates a mystery and a japanese home feel to it. The foods are delicious and not that expensive. I love their sukiyaki and beef shitake. Their steamed squid was also good. Definitely a must try in BF.ππ
They have the best gyoza and california maki. Very delicious and affordable. The place has the authentic Japanese style. You will definitely need to make a reservation because it's always packed! π
Food is delicious and very affordable so you can really order a lot. We usually get carried away when we order from here coz we want to try everything on their menu. Haha. But our favorites are tempura, california maki and pork tonkatsu. for 200 pesos you get big and tasty tempura. It gets really crowded at times though because the place is really small, its so hard to find parking and sometimes service gets too slow especially during dinner time but hey, its worth the wait. Definitely recommending this restaurant.π
My favorite Japanese restaurant since I started living in BF homes. Their sukiyaki is the perfect taste for my palate and I cannot find anything that can replace that yet. It is a small simple restaurant which is a hidden gem. Locals would flock here because this is one of the oldest restos in BF which we fondly call Bento-ya. You can never go wrong with them :)
