This is our go-to restaurant every after meetings. Their food is consistently good. Love their hotpot and salt and pepper spareribs š
All of their branches that I know of are located where Puregold supermarket is. One good thing about it is there's always free parking. They serve good and affordable Chinese food. My current favorite is their adobo style fish fillet.
Usually when you eat out and try a new restaurant you try the things you donāt get to try in other restos, I suggest getting the peking duck and have it cooked three ways, first the skin is enveloped in some thin wrapper with cucumber and hoisin sauce, second one is diced duck meat with carrots and tomatoes, and oh donāt forget the wanton croutons, you eat it like what you do with samgyup, place some on top of your cabbage then add hoisin sauce, the third one would probably be the flesh and bones of the duck deep fried then given with lots of garlic and coarse salt, donāt forget to try it with their own vinegar. This oneās kinda pricey but if you really want it I can guarantee youāll like it.
You can also try the taro puffs and the fish fillet with cheese sauce. Or the fresh shrimps.
Anyway, I prefer the duck since I donāt like the way other restaurants cook them. Thatās just my two cents.
Enjoy.
The absence of our favorite vendors in Multinational, Sucat made us struggle with our usual after workĀ habit of eating street food like Calamares and Kwek-kwekĀ and it eventually lead us in trying this Chinese restaurant named Luk Foo.Ā . Authentic dining experience just within your reach? Luk Foo, with different branches all over Metro Manila offers Chinese fine dining experience at a competitive cost!
One of our favorite places to eat especially when our kuya from canada visits, food is superb. Service is great. Parking is an issue but not relevant š
Definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Their food's really good, they have a wide variety of options and their prices aren't so bad as well. Each dish serves about 3-4 pax, making it really worth the price.
Try out their Cheese and Butter Fish Fillet and their Lemon Chicken. Super duper good! š
We always order almost the same things here at every visit. Their cheese and butter fish fillet has a large serving size which is perfect for sharing. Their spareribs are partnered with vinegar but taste well on its own. Sometimes they have more fat than meat but the flavors are intact.
The ambience is clean and the food is delicious. Tip: You can order food from the other Luk Foo place thatās not in the Luk Foo Hot Pot menu.
Haven't eaten lunch at the office so was really hungry by 5pm. My family and I decided to go here. Same old good food and service. The hot and sour soup for me is the best version compared to other establishments i tried. Dimsum was nice too. Service is fast and waiters are very accomodating. Tip: Don't forget to ask for the ginger sauce. It takes everything on a different level. š
The location isn't too ideal since it's close to NAIA where traffic usually builds up during rush hour. We tried it for late dinner anyway so the road isn't too clogged at that time and parking is spacious as well.Ā
As for service, not sure if it's slower because they're about to close or not but we certainly felt it so.Ā
The food is at least good. Price is affordable for the modest serving size. I personally love their hakao.

I've always loved Chinese food for their take on taste on everything. Last night, my boyfriend and i tried something different. We decided to have dinner at Luk Foo Hot Pot, & boy were we satisfied. Sate soup was a mixture of spice & regular broth, so it's not too heavy. We added other dishes that goes perfectly well with the soup (of course with the suggestion of our server). And we also added my favorite, Hakao. And their price fits the menu, not expensive. What i loved about our order was we didn't have to wait long before our food was served. Definitely a place to recommend for Hot Pot.
One of the best restaurants that serve authentic Chinese dishes in the city. Went here earlier to celebrate my brother's birthday. It was our first choice and none came second. We had our favorite staples like the Yanchow Fried Rice, Chicken with Cropeck, Mixua Xiamen Style Noodle, Salt & Pepper Squid, and Beef Brisket. All dishes were so delicious that we had to reorder some of it to satisfy everybody's cravings. Their iced tea was also a favorite as it tasted like pomelo; not too sweet.
Service was commendable. Dishes were served in less than five minutes. You won't regret dining here.
We just love their seafood shabu shabu. However, do not go there near closing as the staff are busy doing their pre closing as early as 9pm. It was hard for us to get noticed (there were 6 of us) by the staff. Food taste and cost is good but service is just fair.
Luk Foo has been our family's favorite Chinese restaurant for years. Ā The Ā delicious food more than makes up for the chaotic traffic we endure just to get here. Ā Ā The restaurant is a few blocks away from the international airport and just across Fiesta Mall/Duty Free so very convenient for grabbing a quick bite of authentic Chinese food. Highly recommend the BBQ combination platter, Peking duck and Kingdao spareribs
My family has been a regular customer in this branch for years: from birthdays, family gatherings, other celebrations and when treating guests, we eat here multiple times a year. Prices are above average. The food and services are great even if they continuously change some of their staff. However, the amount of food servings are inconsistent - less servings during special occasions and peak hours (really turned us off after being a regular customer).
We were a very hungry group and was very happy that we choose this place to drop in for dinner. We had super fast service and the food it self was pretty good. I think it's a place better suited for a bigger group, so you can order different dishes.
We treated some friends at Luk Foo and we weren't disappointed. I ordered fried dumplings and it tasted sooo good that we ended up ordering 5 servings. Also had some fish with tofu, their fried chicken special, ribs. Everything tasted great. Service is ok, they even reheated some of the food that I ordered that had grown cold because some of our friends were late. Enjoyed the green mango shake too.
This is the branch we always frequent. Years back, I was informed that a Hongkong chef prepares the dishes here. I am not sure if it still stands true to this day or he had passed on his culinary skills with the local talent we have, but one thing I am sure with; they still serve fresh and authentic cuisines.
They have two restaurants sitting side-by-side, one is their regular Chinese resto and the other is Hot Pot. We went over to the hot pot resto as you can still order from the menu of the main restaurant and serve it there - convenient š. Ofcourse I can't pass up on the Peking Duck (3-ways) partly prepared infront of you (they still need to prep the others in the kitchen) and took on a variety of hotpot options. Don't miss out on their hakaw, the shrimps are so fresh, they pop in your mouth - juicylicious!!!!!!
Dining here is like going home as we are very familiar with their staff who are very friendly and accomodating, kudos to their manager and staff!
Prices here are soooo affordable, true value for your money. Always a pleasure dining here. šš¼šš¼
My favourite and 3 times a week regular place to eat hot pot with the family. The food is always fresh and the service is great. Beside the hot pot they offer a variety of chinese dishes, but the still the hot pot with chicken broth, wine chicken, local fat beef, meatballs, lettuce, golden mushrooms , corn, tofu and their satay sauce is the ultimo bestseller.
Home of Chinese Treasure dishes. If you are in the mood for chinese then head to Luk Foo. Staples like Broccolli with Beef, Sweet and Sour Fish, Hototay Soup and Cold Cits simply taste better here.
Luk Foo for us is the Chinese version of the Korean resto, Jang Ga Rae :). It's great food, not prissy, not pricey and you go home a very happy diner, clutching a doggie bag :)
I can only speak for us who do not have the luxury and the proximity to indulge in what Binondo can offer. I have been there and truly, it's a place to indulge your Chinese food cravings, from these brightly lit restos to the dingy looking stalls but have the most authentic dimsums.
So we make do with the next best thing within our reach, Luk Foo! What can I say? Except the fact that you'll never go wrong in whatever you order from the beaucoup dishes in the menu not to mention that the servers will tell you exactly if your order is already enough to feed you all. This place in fact is highly recommendable to big groups or families. And yes you can feed them all without worrying about your budget and the impression of your gadflies ;)
We have tried this branch and the one in Araneta and I must say that they are consistent in their manufactured taste that's so Luk Foo :)
The best Peking Duck place ever! They serve everything worth it with what you pay āŗļø I love how they roast their ducks and size wise, it's the biggest compared to the others. We usually get Peking Duck Hoisin Wraps and Salt and Pepper āŗļø Their crispy noodles is also a must try as the vegetables they use and meats are fresh. I love their asparagus too! š We also had lemon chicken at times and so far it's not the best but still still they're tasty , and that matters to us. Also had an experience dining here for shabu shabu, it's cheap but they have yummy choices for the soup that they use. We'll keep coming back every now and then :)
Comfort food. The best!! Whenever we look for good Chinese food, this is where we stumble upon. On the negative side, i already saw them did price increase for 2x..
For a chinese restaurant here in the Ph, I can say it can make a name for itself. Good food and service, I suggest the steamed Lapu-Lapu. I wouldn't say cheap nor pricey. You really do get what you paid for.
I think this restaurant is really under appreciated (well, this branch, I guess). We've been eating at this place for around 10 years already, and we still keep coming back. They offer good service and food for a reasonable price. You must try their salt and pepper spare ribs and yang chow fried rice, they're really really really good. I believe this is a restaurant people must patronize, not other famous expensive restaurants that offer such small portions.
This is an inexpensive Chinese restaurant located near Duty Free in Paranaque that specializes in shabu shabu but they have short orders as well. It is quite popular often fully packed during lunch time. They offer delicious soups along with reasonably priced goodies such as beef strips, meat and lobster balls, gabi, sweet corn, dumplings and veggies. I still return from time to time for a nice hot soup.
My family always eats here when we want affordable and yummy chinese food! It's also convenient since it's just near our house :) Our family favorites include the sweet and sour fish fillet, fried chicken with CROPEK! Yummy :) We also like eating here because the presentation of the food is also nice.Ā
Service is fast, and ambiance is okay. :)
We ate here our lunch here yesterday.
We ordered:
Cheesy and garlic Fish Fillet: It is the fist time we ordered this dish. It's so cheesy and delicious. The fish is like melting in your mouth.
Chicken with Kropek: We always order this dish. It's yummy but it gets fewer everytime we ate this.
Fish Fillet with taosi: Best and Reccomended dish. It's very delicious.
Chopsuey: The best vegtable dish i ate (though my mother's chopsuey is more tasty than this hehe) A must try dish too.
Red Ice tea: Their red ice tea is the best Red ice tea i tasted. Honestly it's one of the reason why i always come back here. haha. :P
Located along Sucat Road, not too far from Casino Filipino and Duty Free, you'll be hard pressed to find any other place nearby that serves decent Chinese food. It's barely a 5 minute drive from NAIA Terminal 1, so I end up here quite often upon arrival from foreign trips. Be careful though, the waitstaff curiously have no uniforms so it can get confusing and somewhat awkward calling their attention for your order. I often just ask them what they recommend for the day, and end up having that. It's much easier and you don't end up ordering too much. Their fare is Cantonese I believe, and since I don't really understand the differences in Chinese regional cuisine, I rely on their better judgement, which hasn't failed so far. Just give a general description of what you'd like to have, such as noodles, dimsum, vegetables, etc. They do vegetarian food well, by the way. The ambience is cozy, typical of a Chinese laureat type of setup with the lazy Susan and all. Waitstaff is always attentive and responsive to your needs. I'd rather go here than anywhere else in SM Sucat or those restaurants across terminal 4.
I always enjoy this place and come out with a happy tummy. What I like about chinese restaurants is that their always good for sharing and their food are healthy. Luk Foo is one of my favourite chinese restau. Price is just right and the serving is really good for sharing. Everything is served fresh and tasty. Service is pretty okay too which doesn't lead us hungry customers waiting for a very long time.
Best value for your money for Chinese resto. It would be a tie with mandarin palace.
Food is always consistent
My regular are:
Shrimp in Orange sauce
Salt and pepper spare ribs
Lapu lapu fillet with tofu in xo sauce
Baguio beans with pork
Not too authentic chinese as its adjusted to the Philippine taste. Not necessarily a bad thing. We got the fried chicken, cold cuts platter, fried rice, spare ribs and fish cake. Just acceptable food all around.
Luk Foo is a Cantonese restaurant that is located beside Puregold supermarket just across Duty Free Philippines. I think that these 2 establishments are owned by the same company. This is the place where we always have dinner after shopping at Duty Free. They have a separate section for the hotpot. Must try here are their Fried Beancurd with Minced Pork, Spinach Seafood Soup,Ā Yang Chow Fried Rice, Crispy Noodle with Assorted Seafood and Sweet and Sour Pork. Their hotpot is also good and prices are reasonable as well.
My favorite Cantonese restaurant! Luk Foo is very near from our house which is a perk for me because I can pig out there anytime I want! They serve dimsums, cantons, soups, fish fillets and so much more! But my ultimate favorite is the Crispy Peppered Beef/Pork. It is really to die for. I love spicy food and when they serve spicy food, they make sure that it blends with the food really well that you can still enjoy without getting your mouth burning with heat. One thing is, they serve really fast compared to others. The generous servings are such a plus and the ambiance of the restaurant is really relaxing. And oh, their spinach soup is the best!
Ok before we were just passing by and not sure on the location of this resto, I would like a resto with good parking areas and safe place. Usually this resto sits next to puregold since the owner owns lukfoo so the food is excellent since every restaurant they have the chef is a HONGKONG chef. Which we prefer to be a little more authentic and a real chinese cuisine. We eat here once a week for 5 years already. Value for money indeed with the quality and taste its superb. Peking duck is only 1,300php serves for 10 already two or three way. Amazing!
If you're the same as me and almost never eat airplane food, I get so hungry that I can eat a whole duck after a long commute. Luk Foo Cantonese Kitchen is a stone throw away from NAIA I and is my go to binge place after a long draining plane rides.
They serve everything family style so you definitely have to be in a group of at least 3 or 4 people. My staple starters are Spinach Seafood Soup @ Php 250.00, a jade green soup with bits of fresh shrimp, and Cold Spicy Seaweed w/ Century egg @ Php 220.00.
The one that I really go back for is their Peking Duck 3 ways. The price is just ridiculously cheap, @ 1,500.00 for a whole bird, compared to other places but is just as good as the best out there.
First they thinly slice some of the meat and portion out the crispy skin in wraps with fresh slivers of green onions and hoisin sauce.
Then they finely mince the meat and sautes it with what seems like oyster sauce, carrots, water chestnuts, and is topped with fried wanton. They serve it with lettuce which is meant to wrap the minced meat.
The third way could be a soup made from the carcass, or our favourite salt and pepper style.
Just those three things is enough to feed 6 so if you're in a smaller group you can opt to get just half the duck or an array of different main courses which are all quite good as well.
