my favorite resto I love Spoon! the best top notch service! my favorite is their Osso Bucco, Clam Chowder and Seafood Pasta
Can't get enough of their food, I love the lamb burger, chicken peri peri and the osso buco in particular. Service is excellent, always accommodating and cheerful. The place itself, furnishings, design even the music, creates a wonderfully chill environment. It ties in perfectly with the other elements to create a dining experience that I love to come back to again and again.
The food was very interesting - not your typical menu. The ambiance is very intimate, a perfect place to go on a date or catch up with good friends. The overall experience makes it cherished.
Food is exceptional. Chicken peri peri and osso buco. Flavors are amazing and seasoned perfectly. Ambiance is nice and hip. South date place. Price is cheap for the food you get. Warm light and chill music let's you carry easy with friends and family. Lizard fell on me!
The food is cooked right, and the flavors are well balanced. Couldn't stop eating! Loved the chicken periper, sriracha slaw, and osso buco!
Eggplant Parmigiana is pretty good, and there's a lot more than what it looks likfe from how it's served.
A very special place to go and relax while u eat..

Awesome food! The Peri peri chicken was juicy and flavorful. If you want to know what would happen if a coleslaw breaks bad, try their Sriracha coleslaw. Good, but spicy!
Good food!!! Will definitely go back!
Chicken peri-peri was good but the garlic and vinegar taste of the Slaw’s Garlicky mustard were so overpowering. Three Cheese Flatbread was very tasty and crunchy. Downside: very long serving time (~30 mins and we were the only customers being served) Will come back again for the cozy ambience and flatbread 🙂
The place was cozy and lovely. The decor was warm and appealing to the eye. We never had to wait in line to get a seat and the food was budget friendly yet high quality
Definitely recommending this place for their flat breads and the salmon foodies! This was just an accidental trip out of hunger but it was definitely worth it! The ambiance of the resto was very minimalist and hip.
Great food!!! But i guess it was just too pricy for the food's size. But the taste 👌👌 I also like their ambiance and how cool the place is.
Oh lordy, when I think of Spoon Eat+Drink, my tastebud memory immediately tells my brain "Best lamb burger, Flat Bread, Mussels.... want now!" Those plus the cozy Brooklyn-esque vibe and the always friendly staff. They are aces in my book.
The food and ambiance was spot on! Kudos to the chef and staff :) I ordered a lamb burger and it didn't disappoint. I'd love to come back if my schedule permits. Until my next feedback :D
Spoon is the epitome of the south vibe of homey and chill, the food is a mix of healthy, tasty goodness, and sprinkled with love. Make sure to ask what's on the secret menu, you never know what nomnomy experiment they've concocted -- if you're a fan, order it enough and it just might land a permanent spot on the menu (I spot you, Mr. Flatbread, get in my belly!)
Very nice ambiance. Food serving size is enough but the taste can improve.
Plus points for the very friendly and knowledgeable waiter. Will come back here
This restaurant is a bit tricky to find since it's in the second floor of a nondescript building. What it lacks in space it makes up for with the pleasant interiors and of course, good food. We had the roaast chicken (good for sharing) with garlic smashed potatoes and it was juicy and perfectly cooked.
AAHHH. u guys it's the best here. the coziest the yummiest. been wanting to dine here for the longest time and now finally got to go here with my bb heehee.
ordered:
grilled watermelon + peach salad - 3.5/5
smashed potato - 3.5/5
three cheese flatbread - da bomb
eggplant parmigiana - da bomb
chicken periperi - would kill for this
churros with matcha dip - 4.5/5
berry and peach italian sodas - 4.5/5
solid quality food here. miss ko na yung chicken periperi 😭
Spoon is one of my most favorite restaurants, not only in the south or in the country, but in the whole wide world. MY husband and I got married here, after all!
That aside though, Spoon is more than just a restaurant, it's an experience. It's a quaint little spot in BF that resembles my dream apartment. The ambiance is simply delightful, thanks to the quirky, yet tasteful decor, the plants, the furniture, and the lighting. During our wedding, they even prettied up the place further by adding white roses, baby's breath, and greenery--it was stepping into a dream!
The food, of course, is just as lovely. My husband loves the peri-peri sticks so much, we even ordered a party tray for Christmas to bring to the family noche buena. Our friends and family who were present at the wedding also loved the food; one of my best friends even joked she loved it so much she was going to marry it.
The owner and the staff are welcoming and friendly, which really adds to the warm and cozy ambience of the place. All in all, Spoon deserves all the love it's getting and we hope it continues to flourish!

The staff are very friendly and approachable
- The decor is really nice, up to their theme
- The food is pretty good
- I wished they could've expanded their space so that there will be enough space
- Sadly, the time I've been there with my family for mother's day, their air conditioning isn't working. I hope they fix that
I've been a fan of Spoon Eat+Drink since 2016 and to be honest I was happier when my artwork became a part of Spoon. It is an honor to do something at their glass mirror.
Ambiance - 5.0/5.0
The restaurant is very New York -- artsy, great interiors, ambient music and modern. This place can cater every type of customer -- foodie, artsy, millenials, gen x and even those who dine alone.
Service - 5.0/5.0
Kuya Emman, the server that is loved by everyone, is really good. Also, he is very welcoming and not to mention, really admired especially by my friends 'coz he remembers all the orders and who ordered them which is pretty rare for servers nowadays.
Food - 5.0/5.0
I could totally recommend everything on the menu. Every dish is cooked with love. But my favorites are their Pastas and Flatbreads.
Ambience and food are great! You’ll like the place if you’re someone who likes intimate bondings. I definitely recommend their Chicken Periperi and 3 cheese flat bread!
This place is a hidden gem in the South 👌
Located at bf homes, this small intimate resto is a really nice place to have a romantic date and also instagrammable.
We ordered fauxjito which I really love because it is so refreshing, three cheese flatbread eat it will its hot, lamb burger is a bit bland and osso buco is ok. The price for the food is expensive tho but good for sharing.
Very relaxing, a "just chillin' here" kind of place. Great for people who would love to catch up over delicious food. I just want to say that their lime dip for the chips was D' Bomb! They should sell that in bottles and I'd be the first to buy. 👌
Haven’t been there in a while, but it’s one of my go-to places in BF. The vibe is laidback and the interior’s instagram friendly. It’s like you are eating at a friend’s place who has delicious food you just keep coming back to.
Loved the ambience of the place! It has a chill vibe which is perfect for catching up with friends and loved their decorations ♡ Their staff was friendly & attentive and the food was delicious. Me and my friend couldn't finish all as it was filling in the tummy. Would recommend trying out their three cheese flatbread 👍
A hidden gem in BF Homes! Love the food here most specially their osso bucco and grilled lamb. Ohhh their soup and salad are the bomb!!!!! I love their clam chowder and mushroom soup... soooooo good. Price is also reasonable considering they use quality ingredients. The place is really small though.. plus parking is very limited. But this resto is definitely a must visit!! Also staff are really friendly and the owners too!!
Had a great experience here at Spoon. The ambiance is really chill, maybe because it’s not that crowded yet. The crew’s really accomodating. The food were great especially the Lemon Smoked Salmon Pasta, it was SO GOOD! The Seafood Pasta was just okay, it was a little bland but overall it was great. Definitely will go back!
Surprisingly, we were the only customers when we got here. Their staff were very friendly. The resto is located a the second floor, I’m not sure if the first floor is also theirs. Their food was good. We ordered periperi sticks which was freshly cooked and well-seasoned, and three cheese flatbread. I also like the ambience. I think it’s a perfect place to catch up with friends since they also have a bar menu.
We had an early dinner at 5:30. We were the only customers when we dined so we were able to look around and enjoy the cozy interior.
We ordered the Mussels (off the menu), Three cheese flatbread, Osso buco and the grilled lamb. The mussel dish was my favorite. Our toddler loved the flatbread. The lamb was tender, we had it cooked medium rare. The osso buco would have been great with rice.
The peach soda was refreshing.
The staff were attentive and accommodating.
The place was designed beautifully and is something I would have loved in my own home / veranda.
Staff are very friendly and knowledgble when it comes to their menu they have good service. For the food they serve quality dishes.
Excellent aesthetic that sets perfect ambiance
Went with friends and we weren’t disappointed with the place. It’s a bit small and narrow. We were not actually gonna see their sign unless we look up. We were kinda doubting it by the time we entered we thought it was a joke. Luckily we went upstairs and saw we’re on the right place. Thank God there were only like 2 groups eating that time. Me and my friends ordered Seafood pasta, peri-peri stick, steak and their so-called smashed potato (literally smashed). My pasta needed more flavoring. Peri-peri sticks were so good although they offer small servings of this. Their steak was good too but to hard to chew. I hope they improve it as its one of their pricey foods in the menu. We also tasted their white wine which only costs 150 pesos.
Things I don’t like:
Small place
Slow cooking service
This place is just as small space in the vast of Aguirre yet it will truly satisfy the foodie inside of you. Not to mention how artsy and cozy the place is! We ordered seafood pasta and garlic olive oil, grilled watermelon + peach salad and Italian soda in Kiwi flavor. Took a reasonable amount of time before our orders were served but it's okay. Will definitely go back to this place specially if I will just dine alone. :)
A small place with really good food. Almost everything on the menu is very flavorful and unique. By far my favorite dirty rice variant and the chicken periperi goes well with it. The roast chicken is also very good even if it takes quite a long time to prepare, it is worth the wait so I suggest don't order this if you arrive hungry.
The staff is also very friendly and accomodating, one of the most underrated places along Aguirre and is definitely worth a try
I'm actually still sitting here in Spoon as I write this. I ordered the Osso Buco and smashed potato.. one taste of the sauce and already I was debating in my head whether I should get mote potato and maybe rice as well.. And so I did. I'm now 5 pounds heavier after finishing one whole serving of Osso Buco, two servings of potato and a bowl of rice. So much for eating with finesse.. 😂
This meal should get me by till tomorrow. Really enjoyed tje food and ambiance. Will return another weekend and try the lamb and pasta 😍
I love the food and ambiance very simple and quiet perfect for the dinner. Also, the employee very nice and acommodating good job this place is must see
Best restaurant in BF Par so far. Their food is prepared after you order. The ambience is spot on. The only thing missing for me is some bread, maybe pita or some pastry for dessert. I advice you to reserve if possible since the place becomes packed on dinner time.
Bonus: Order the Osso Buco 👌
Went here last Sunday when I visited my friend who lives in BF Homes. I've read good reviews of Spoon Eat+Drink here in Zomato and it didn't disappoint!
It was a small place on the second floor of their building. The place is cozy with pretty lights, cutesy wall decors and greens. The staff was accomodating and attentive.
Food is great!!! We ordered grilled watermelon + peach salad (not in pictures), three cheese flatbread, seafood pasta, chicken periperi and lemon thyme lamb cutlets (not in pictures). And i promise you, they were ALL GOOD!!! 👌
My favorite would be their chicken periperi. It's juicy and tasty even without sauce. It also comes with a salad, which I'm not a fan of but tastes good too, anyway. Their three cheese flatbread is so yummy with hot sauce. Nom nom!
I wish there will be more branches of this awesome hole-in-the-wall because Parañaque is too far for a girl from the North like me. Hehee. I will definitely recommend this to friends! 😊
This resto bar is full of twinkle lights, greens, and many papers and fixtures hanging on the walls. It feels cozy and accommodating. Was not yet able to try the food but the drinks. They serve their beer cold, and provide excellent service. They also have a smoking area.
Will definitely be back to try their food.
I have been waiting for a long time to try to eat here at Spoon. Finally, craving is now satisfied. The place has awesome decor! Who knew that industrial design would feel so comfortable. The lighting and the ambience was really pleasing. Looked and feels like a small NYC apartment.
The food was absolutely great! The only thing I did not like was the pop corn (hahaha) it was old and gummy. The main highlight tho would be the great food and flavor combination. I tried the lamb shoulders cooked medium, soft, moist, and super yummy. My smoked salmon salad was a surprise. The flavor exploded in my mouth and really made me happy :) so pretty to look at too. The clam chowder was thick and hot and flavorful and the chicken peri peri sticks - absolutely gorgeous!
Service was excellent! Food even better. Will surely come back and would highly recommend to friends and family
The moment we stepped inside the place, Emman (the server) gladly assisted us to our table. He really knows what to recommend when I was about to ask him about the different food choices from their set menu and off the menu. The three cheese flat bread was to die for! Also the peri peri sticks and crispy fish salad (which is in the “off the menu”. I recommend this place for intimate dates because the space isn’t that big, just enough for a couple of people. The interior is very on point as well as the good lightings inside. Will definitely go back here in the future!
This restaurant is really a good hole in a wall restaurant in BF area. The place is super cozy and well lit, perfect for dates or catch up with friends. The wine was also good considering the price. Food is quite pricy but you can tell that there was a lot of though put into it. I recommend the lamb burgers! Always a crowd pleaser!
Eggplant parmigiano was great 👌
And the soda's too. They tasted great! Nice concept for the place as well.
Will definitely come back again.
Good food with good feelings all around. Literally! Love that you can just hangout for light snacks or invite your family for a good dinner. They have wifi, good coffee, yummy chilled drinks and a very exciting menu.
Hubby's fave - Grilled lamb chops. Juicy, tender and flavorful.
Lamb burger munchies - for burger lovers like me. Small servings and great to share too! Yum.
Bacon wrapped veggies - super love this, and that special sauce added more flavor!
* Not in photos:
Roast chicken - one of the best tasting roast chicken I've ever tried. I love how the smoked grapes complemented the taste. Really worth the wait!
Real mushroom soup - fresh and real. As in. My super duper fave. Must try!!!
Edamame with spinach and lime dip - addicting.👍
I have a new favorite restaurant!!! Was in BF for the day and decided to drop by, as this joint has piqued my curiosity for quite some time now. Boy, am I glad I did! We arrived early , at 4pm but Emman ( my new favorite server😊 ) was quick to show us a table then proceed to explain bestsellers on the menu. He sure does know his stuff! We ordered everything he recommended : Three Cheese Flatbread - crust is thin and crisp with mozzarella, feta, parmesan, spinach and garlic.Heaven!! ( We had to order another one!) Peri Peri Sticks- 6 flavorful skewers of chicken, marinated overnight for an awesome flavor. Osso Buco- tender, fall-off-the-bone beef shank served in a cocotte. Chicken Spinach Alfredo- not on the menu, but there are several off the menu items written on the mirror in the dining area. Pasta was homemade, perfectly cooked. Sauce was a creamy, savory delight! The interiors are instagram- worthy, that's for sure, but the food is the star!
I was looking for a place that closes late at night and saw Spoon Eat + Drink on Zomato. The space is small but I liked it because the place was not too crowded and I and my partner were the only ones seated outside. We loved the design on the wall outside and the small garden that they have.
We had their chicken peri peri, creamy bacon mushroom bow ties, and (real) mushroom soup. We loved all of it. We love the combination of their spicy coleslaw and the chicken and their pasta tastes heavenly (well we love mushroom pastas). And it's not just the food that is great, even the members of their staff are wonderful. They were very accomodating and would always give us a smile whenever we ask for their assistance. We will definitely visit again.
The food is very very good! Well-balanced flavors, delicious and reasonably priced. One of the best chicken peri-peri and osso buco I've tasted.
Best dining experience ever! Ambiance: ✔️ Food: ✔️ Service: ✔️ EVERYTHING'S SO PERF! Try their best seller: Chicken Peri Peri (comes with a slaw). Well, I think everything that's on the menu is their best seller hahaha! They also have their Off The Menu on the mirror. Also try their Italian Sodas!!!
Fave Dishes: Bacon Wrapped Vegetables, Chicken Peri Peri, Osso Buco, Creamy Bacon and Mushroom Bowties, Fauxjito, Berry Italian Soda, Peach Italian Soda, Iced Latte wt Hazelnut, Rise and Shine, and more to come.
My goal is to try everything on the menu 😜
Thank you, Ma'am Philane! Love you and God bless! 💙

2nd timer here!!
👍🏼 Creamy Mushroom Bacon Pasta - Super cheap for 180 pesos and you have that rich flavored pasta with generous amount of bacon. I super love it!
👍🏼 Peri Peri Chicken - We chose the garlicky sauce and it was so tasty. Again, I loved it! We ordered an extra dirty rice since this only comes with a salad as side dish.
👍🏼 Smashed potatoes - Literally smashed baby potatoes. Quite simple and typical but yeah it's good as an appetizer for only 50 pesos.
👍🏼 Faux-jito - Italian soda with mint and lime but no alcohol. Worth the try and it's only 50 pesos!!! I think i'm gonna try the peach flavor next time.
What's good besides the food is the ambiance. It's very ig-worthy (ehem millenials). Every corner has a story to tell. Will definitely come back and tag some friends along. ✨✨

Ordered their Couscous and Lamb burger. Admittedly I didn't like their couscous that much, but it was just a matter of personal preference, not because it tasted bad.
They have off-menu items (written on their mirror) and have good wine, too. The space isn't that big, so it's ideal for intimate dates. The interior + their art wall is a big plus to the already awesome food.
Would recommend. :)
I live nearby and I never noticed this place before. I went here to meet a friend who works for this place. The ambiance, the interior, the decorations.. super nice place to chill and enjoy food!!! Instagram worthy 😍 The servers were super nice and accomodating even before we were introduced by our friend. We ordered chicken peri peri (garlicky mustard) and seafood pasta (forgot the exact name) We loved it!!! The chicken was tender and the flavors were amazing! The pasta was nice as well! We can't get enough of the italian soda(berry and kiwi)! It tastes amazing! Thumbs up! Will definitely go back and try other dishes! 👍🏻
After ordering some drive-thru at McDonald’s BF, we saw this restaurant right across the street. We weren’t sure if it was open yet so we took a mental note to eat there when it opened. A couple of weeks later, we decided to try it out and they did not disappoint.
The moment I stepped into this place, I immediately fell in love with its quaint interiors. It is rare to find an efficiently-utilized tiny space with beautiful, industrial decors & great, affordable food.
Place/Ambiance: It's a small restaurant that could seat around 20 people. Despite it being small, I love how comfortable the place feels like. Maybe it's because there were only 2 people around other than me. I can't imagine how it would feel like if the place got crowded. Anyway, it's a great place to study & chill because the ambiance really makes you feel cozy & their music taste is impeccable. It's situated on the 2nd floor of a quite sketchy building, and I suggest that they place a signboard on the first floor indicating that it's the right way to Spoon. 4/5
Food: Really, really affordable good food. The price is reasonable but the servings aren't exactly good for sharing. I ordered the ff.:
- Grilled Watermelon & Peach Salad: it tasted great! The blend of the peach & watermelon plus the pop of vinaigrette made the salad taste amazing.
- 3-cheese Flatbread Panini: smelled so savory! I wasn't expecting the serving to be big, honestly. It's like a thin crust, crunchy cheese pizza. Not something different, but it's a good dish to order if you want to share with friends!
- Chicken Peri-peri (with Sriracha Lime slaw): the chicken was a bit spicy, but I expected it to be a little bit spicier. It's perfectly-grilled, soft chicken thighs marinated in peri-peri sauce. I recommend this meal!
- Iced Latte (with hazelnut syrup): It tasted just like another latte. The hazelnut flavor was unnoticeable so I guess they should kick the syrup up a notch.
- 3.5/5
Service: Amazing service. I booked a table through the Booky app (sorry Zomato, I still love you) and they responded well to my requests. I asked if they could change my reservation to a different time, and then asked to change it back to the original time & the crew handled it very, very well! They also gave me a tiny bowl of popcorn while I waited for my order (how cute!). The crew was polite & accommodating, and they were able to answer my questions very well (with additional suggestions). Their service is one of the finest ones I've ever had, so kudos (especially to the short-haired lady with eyeglasses & tattoos). If not for the place, I'm definitely coming back for your commendable service. 5/5
TL;DR:
Food - 3.5/5
Place- 4/5
Service- 5/5
Will I recommend this to friends? Yes
Will I come back? Yes!!
Spoon is so Instagram-worthy you'd like to take a pic of every corner of it! It might seem small but this cozy industrial NY-themed restaurant makes you want to stay longer than expected. It was the best decision to hold our highschool reunion here indeed!
The staff are personable and accommodating. The owner, Philane, made sure we understood her vision of the place, even sharing a short anecdote of how the name Spoon came about. She also made sure the food selection we had for our event showcased Spoon's most recommended dishes.
We had chips with the very refreshing edamame dip, lamb sliders, chicken peri-peri sticks, eggplant parmigiana, roasted chicken with paprika grapes with sidings of New York dirty rice and smashed potatoes. We also had access to craft beers and all flavors of their Italian sodas.
My favorite was the eggplant parmigiana and the chips with edamame dip. Besides all the dishes on the menu, they have off-the-menu specials which they write on their mirror-slash-statement wall. Plus, you can order from the wine depot downstairs and have your bottle brought up to your table.
I have been meaning to come back for a date with the boo, as this place also makes for a romantic dinner date night. And I want to have a slice of their much-talked about red velvet cake too!
I tried their peri peri chicken only since I was alone when I dined at their resto and it tasted so good. I will really recommend it. Will be back there with my partner and will try their other menu. Place is small but I like it. It's kinda intimate and just what I like. I rate 4 since I still have to try their other offerings.
This only happens in fairytales. Like in Paris the true magic goes through a corridor, up the stairs under the roof. And Spoon is no exception. The rustique environment and the overwhelming kind and serviceminded staff gives you "the good feelings" which seems to be their successful brand.
It's (like in Paris) small, cosy and has a snip of magic. The menu is small but serves any taste. We chose the smashed potatoes, grilled vegetables with bacon, lamb chops and a lambburger. And the surprises didn't stop here. As a former chef in a Greek restaurant I know how hard lamb is to handle. Especially with the right herbs. But the chef of Spoon certainly knows how to handle it. Every bite was like heaven. As I told them there's one thing they could gain even more plusses at : start baking your own burgerbuns, instead of using the regular catering buns. It's pretty simple, and it would elevate the lambburger to 100% perfection, and add the crispness that the dish needs to be "the happy end" in the fairytale ;)
One more thing is that it would be a splendid idea to add a small dish for the kids in the menu. I don't know if it is supposed to be a family oriented restaurant, or if it was just meant to be a fairytale for two, but nevertheless we felt very welcome with our small daughter at almost two years. She walked out in the kitchen and the chef took a little special care for her there, curious as she is. That definetely meant a lot to us that we felt welcome as a family, and the quick served popcorn for our daughter right after we walked in was another star for this dream alike establishment.
When I sometimes miss Europe I know where to go in the future, and I can promise you guys at spoon : this would definitely not be our last visit.
Thanks for the perfect evening, and the good coffee last. Don't know what you're doing, but please don't stop doing it ;)
For a Friday night this restaurant had a quite chill vibe. We decided to have dinner here after i recommended it to my friends after they finished working (more like casual chika on the side) at nearby Seattles Best Coffee. Little did i know that my friend used to be schoolmates with one of the owners (they exchanged hi hellos after we entered). My friend is 7 months pregnant and the steep stairs was quite a challenge for her (and me too). The interiors had a stripped down industrial feel with the edison light fixtures, calligraphy wall art, exposed cement and wood furnitures.
The food portioning and price points are very inticing and to some extent deceiving. I was intrigued by the 120pesos watermelon and peach salad, so when our order arrived we were surprised it was served on a small tin bowl. It was literally a couple of pieces of each fruit. Not enough for sharing but for 120pesos some may say it was priced appropriately but we find it lacking. The flavors though was delicious, the fruit was lightly grilled then served on top of the greens with oil based dressing. The Peri Chicken thighs came next and it was really flavorful. It came with a slaw salad. It paired well with the Dirty Rice and Smashed Pototoes. We also had unlimited servings of their Complimentary Popped Corn. The Eggplant Parmigiana was love! It was cheesy and delicious. Everything was wiped off our plates.
Service was cordial and very friendly. Water was served without delay. Their daily specials are posted on the wall so if you are feeling adventurous and would like something off the menu then try the chef specials. Space is quite small. Good for intimate gatherings.
We paid for our meals. Will visit again and try the Osso Bucco.
First of all, in my opinion, I think this place deserves more than its current overall rating. Spoon is that nice cozy little restaurant along the famed Aguirre street. There is something intimate about its inconspicous location. Its an instagram hotspot with multiple instagram worthy articles. In short the interiors of spoon is beautiful. But enough of that, what got me really hooked was their food.
For appettizers, the edamame spinach lime dip is a refreshing take on nacho dips. The edamame dictates the flavor, the spinach delivers the consistency, the lime adds the tang and the zest. The dip will leave you wanting more, leaving you to think or say, why havent I thought of this dip before? Or where have you been all my life? The Ocobuco was a very well cooked version of caldereta, tender and full of meaty flavor (though I wouldnt recommend this if youre wanting to experience something new). The main highlight of my meal there was the roast chicken. Their chicken by far is the best roast chicken Ive ever tasted in a restaurant. Its tenderness is the meat falling of the bone type and its very mosit yet bursting with flavor. You wont need gravy on this one. The skin is succulent and tender and you can taste the flavor permeating both meat and skin. To cap our meal off, for dessert, we ordered revel bar ala mode and its also the best Ive ever had so far. The revel bar had crunchy outer layers but was moist and gooey in the inside. Served with Vanilla ice cream on top its as complex as desserts could get, having different layers that blends well. The place only seats 20-25 comfortably so it really gets packed during the weekends.
We ordered:
-Mushroom soup
-Osso Buco
-Peach italian soda
-Chicken PeriPeri
-Bacon wrapped veggies.
-New york dirty rice
Food were all good. They gave free popcorn as an appetizer.
The -0.5 is because the Osso Buco lacked saltz (bland tomato taste) And because the meat was burnt a little giving a slightly bitter taste.
Overall, a very nice place in BF. Especially the atmosphere!
Going to try their flatbread and pasta next time.
Quiet and unassuming, Spoon is often unnoticed and usually overshadowed by their next door bar neighbors. But Spoon is a hidden gem, a diamond in the rough. With a cozy, quaint, often cramped place, it conjures images of a NY style deli shop in the heart of the city. But beyond its simple looks, the dishes they serve are unique, creative, and original.
Highs:
1. Osso Bucco: An ode to our local kaldereta, this version is gratifying despite its utter simplicity. The sauce is smooth and not too greasy, neither does it reek of the often overwhelming peanuty taste of local kalderetas. The beef is tender and is of choice cuts, with the tendinous portions gratefully included. The sinful marrow, of course, tops it all.
2. Grilled Watermelon and Peach Salad: A queer taste, but it works. The smokey taste pairs well with the juicy sweetness of the fruits, leaving a delightful play on the palate.
3. Chicken peri peri: The tender chicken breasts are lightly grilled in their signature peri peri marinade. Despite it being a tad dry, the chicken was flavorful. Although, I would prefer a more robust and generous sauce for this.
4. Roasted cauliflower soup: another simple soup dish that's surprisingly satisfying. Perfect for the rainy days with its herby taste yet smooth texture. A monthly special so grab it while you can.
5. Rebel mode: A limited edition dessert, this was the God of all revel bars. The revel bar was freshly baked, with the chocolate oozing in goodness. The madagascar vanilla ice cream on top is the perfecf partner, a subtle sweetness and creaminess. Catch this while you can.
Lows:
1. Turkish Baklava ice cream: the ice cream easily melted and the flavors were suspect. Hard to distinguish the flavor of the baklava, as also the cream itself lacked its own flavor.
2. Serving size: Most sizes were modest, and might be too small for other people. It does make it look too expensive for the size. But hey, quality over quantity is the operative word here I guess.
Spoon is a comforting get-away from all the usual Japanese / gastropub / Korean restaurants lining Aguirre. It offers quality meals, a cozy ambiance, and a homey charm. A bit on the pricey side, but you know you are getting the best, as even the service is commendable. Also, look out for their monthly off-the-menu specials, as one can score a unique dish here. Despite its small spot and hidden place, Spoon is slowly developing its loyal following. I know I'm a convert. But i hope that Rebel Mode dessert stays on their regular menu.
The taste + ambiance + service = delightfully marvelous.
I went here with my friend and her 1 year old son on a Friday late afternoon, about an hour after their opening hour (they open at 4pm), and we were the first guests. The restaurant is very small and quaint in a good way, designed modern industrial with a personal touch. The servers were very attentive and nice, and didn't mind that we had a toddler who runs around constantly and plays with popcorn.
We ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana, Osso Buco Smashed Potatoes, Berry Italian Soda and a glass of their house wine.
The food is great! I'm not really a fan of tomato-based stew but I looove their Osso Buco that I finished the whole bowl--which is good for 2!! It also went well with their red wine which is just 100/glass. The Eggplant Parmigiana is also good.
All in all, we had a great time at Spoon Eat+Drink. I just wish they had a bigger place to share their awesome food. I will definitely come back here!
Great food, great ambiance. We ordered their Chicken Periperi, New York Dirty Rice, and Creamy Bacon Button Bowties, and we enjoyed them a lot (esp. the chicken periperi). We'd definitely go back to try their other meals!
A very cozy place to dine and catch up with your friends. The staff are very accomodating. It's a bit small, so it's perfect for intimate dinner and the likes. We went there on a Friday and to our surprise, there aren't many people yet. My husband and I loved their food as well as their unique Italian sodas. Everything in Spoon is intagram worthy. We will definitely go back here to celebrate our anniversarry. Your restaurant surely deserves to be known by everyone.
This place does not just boast of instagram-worthy interiors and food plating, their food itself is top knot as well!
We had the slider burgers and peri-peri chicken with their pomelo salad and it was a-grade! The price isn't that bad as well. Pretty affordable for a party of two.
I just hope they expand the place soon! Their location is kind of awkwardly placed in the midst of bars and was kind of small.
Overall, the experience was great! Can't wait to bring other people here to try their food :-)
Ate here with a friend and they were surprisingly empty on a weekday, at 7pm. Usually when there are new restaurants in BF, places like these are filled. Not complaining though because my friend and I enjoyed catching up without having to select our stories cos no one was around! Haha
I instantly knew I'd go back here because of the menu. It's a great place to go when you want to have a quiet dinner date with that special someone. The food they serve actually reminds me of the food my grandmother cooks for Sunday lunch--which means THE SELECTION IS PERFECT-O. They have Osso Bucco you guys!!!!!! I haven't tried theirs yet but I have high hopes that it will be as good as the food I've already tried.
My friend and I had their grilled watermelon and peach salad. I liked the crunch but for the price, I expected a larger amount of serving. For our main course, we shared the lamb burger munchies and peri peri sticks. I loved the combination! Wasn't too heavy and the size of the mini burgers were just right.
Oh and they also serve unlimited popcorn! Once you enter the place, you'll see their popcorn machine right away :P The ambiance really was part of our great experience here. I don't recommend walk-ins though if you decide to eat here as a big group. The restaurant is narrow and short so it cannot really entertain as many guests as possible.
We had to wait for a few minutes for a table to be availabe but we didn't mind. The owners made sure that we never felt ignored and checked on us every now and then...
The food was superb especially the peri-peri chicken and lambchops.
Will definitely come back to try their other specialties.
P.S. they have daily chef's specials too that's definitely worth a try.
i honestly hesitated to go in because the first floor was empty but since i was meeting a friend here, i immediately went to the second floor. a crew opened the door for me which i find very respectful. we got a seat next to the kitchen. i am absolutely amused with the light at the terrace of the restaurant. it is small yet a good place for hanging out, relaxing, and studying. i ordered the periperi sticks since i am a meat-lover, rice, and italian soda (berry). the italian soda was served and i must say it was really really good (i cannot emphasize how much i really loved the soda) then came the periperi sticks and rice (i cannot eat a viand without rice). the viand was a bit undercook for me but it was still good. i wanted to try their dessert but unfortuantely, they no longer had the salted caramel flavored ice cream. i would definitely go back here!!!
The place is small but cosy with amazing decorations. Loved the layout and the place itself.
Got to try their drink flavored peach and I absolutely loved it, not too fizzy and not to sweet. It was definitely full of flavor.
Tried the chicken peri peri, seeing as I am a bit fussy about chicken this was so juicy. It wasn't dry and it was just oozing with juice and flavor. I also had the eggplant parmigiana and as a lover of cheese it fulfilled my cravings for cheese. There was more cheese than eggplant but I was just in love with it!
I would love to go back, I enjoyed the aroma and the staff. The staff were friendly and very approachable, attending our needs straight away.

Get in now, while they're still relatively new and unknown... Not just because that will make you cool and hip and totally on top of all the trends, but also because this will be one of those places where people will queue for a table.
The kitchen and floor staff know exactly what they're doing.
And a little bird tells me soon there will be a Ralph's downstairs from which you can take your favourite bottle up to the restaurant to accompany your meal. Oohlala

On its third week the crew and the owner knows how to treat it's customers. It's just a small place for about 25 people. Located on the 2nd floor beside pig and whistle and garage 88, I believe this is the best new resto in BF.
The price here isn't that bad. In fact it's cheaper than the ones around (or maybe because it's introductory price?) but I hope they would stick to that place.
The crew are very optimistic and accommodating, add it with a good smile on their faces. It completes their tagine of GOOD FEELINGS ALL AROUND.
Food. We went here after our dinner so we are just looking for a place to have a snack and just unwind. Their red velvet is very delicious, moist and very tasty, the sweetness isn't overpowering. The spinach dip is also very good, it goes great with the tortilla. Yum!
I would definitely come back for more. And since they're open till midnight I can have my midnight fix anytime.
PS. They're closed on Mondays.
This is one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in BF. Everything from food, service and ambiance is perfect. The roast chicken is definitely our favorite! I'm excited to hang out here often since it's just beside our place..
Finally! It's already in the list. I've personally requested zomato to add this resto on their scroll. New little resto in BF homes in parañaque that deserves to be known. :)
On its 2nd week from their soft opening, we found this resto along Aguirre st. my friends and I would only like to have some coffee but we discovered more than that. It's a cozy little place in the second floor of white building with an interior ambience that's like taken from pinterest. I like how they maximize the space and also how artsy the place feels from the wall calligraphy to utensils down to decors. Its like they took the New York Cafe vibe to the street of Manila.
They have a little smoking area where the porch is, with hay box turned into tables and where you can find large calligraphy with Virginia Woolf's quote. We ordered Cafe latte, Lamb burger & bacon wrapped vegetables.
With complimentary popcorn on the side. Their lamb burger is not gamy as I expected, though the salty taste bit dominated the taste of the meat. On the otherhand, we like the bacon rolls not too oily and the stuffing balanced the saltiness of bacon perfect match for beer but we opt for coffee.
That alone was heavy enough though we would like to try their other specialties. We're just gonna save it for some other time, especially the pasta. I also like the fact that they innovate their food list. I'm also looking forward to what's next in their menu. Probably once you visit them they already have new thing to offer.
I won't hesitate to choose this place if we're gonna have another get together. Aside from its reserved ambience conducive for intimate chit chats. Their menu is worth a try!
Their bill pad is also a steal, its actually a postcard that's worth keeping.
In general, it was a satisfying dining experience :)
Thank you Spoon Eat + drink for being so accommodating, even though at that moment we're the only ones in the resto til closing time. Haha!
Congratulations! Two thumbs up! :D
