I love the service specially their chinese team.
The foods are worthy of the price, I recommend the tiger prawn and the wagyu beef. Its just that some guests are so loud.
Food is a bit pricey compared to other Chinese restaurants but they serve good quality food. The ambience is also conducive for meetings and family gatherings since they have a number of private rooms.
Good food and service. Intimate dining with loved ones plausible that’s worth returning to. Expected to be a bit pricey but one gets what they pay for.

Petit fours - a beautiful way to end your amazing experience at Crystal Dragon!!! Chefs and service staff are excellent specially Christine. Keep it up!
Authentic chinese food. Great plating. Amuse bouche is a wonton topped with real gold flakes..wow! Everything was great, dessert was too cute to eat.
A cantonese dinner from a luxurious chinese restaurant. A very light but fulfilling meal it is. Chef Bong and Chef Chan made sure this old colleague of them will have an excellent dinner. What surprised me was the the server, named Christine. She was very knowledgeable with the dishes served to us. All questions I threw to her, she answered it with confidence. She was very helpful through out our dinner. A 5-star rating indeed for her!
I've been craving for Chinese food. We came across this resto and decided to try it. And I'm glad we did! Two thumbs up for their peking duck. Price is a bit steep, but this is authentic Chinese food at it's finest.
Authentic Chinese food. We ordered alot of food and unfortunately we were not able to finish all of it. The food are tasty. However, left overs are not permitted. This is a good place to eat when you are really hungry. Staff are attentive and professional.
Amazing staff and amazing food. Our dining experience was sublime. The staff was very attentive. The chef was able to transform our favorite dishes to a whole new gustatory level. My family will definitely be coming back.
first time to try this restaurant.
Service:
I am fully satisfied. servers are very attentive and courteous.
Food:
Again super thumbs up for me. Rich in flavor and the balance of taste is almost perfect.
Ambience:
if you like classy and elegance then this is the right place. The aircon is cold and i like it, comfort room is clean as well.
Price:
this is inside city of dreams so expect a higher price. but i think you will get what you paid for so its not that bad.
will definitely go back here.:) keep it up!😊👍
Place is fancy. I love the ambience. Good for intimate dining. Great service. Great food, but serving size is small. That was the only disappointment.
Stumbled on to my metrobank platinum discount and boy it was worth it. The restaurant itself is small but it gives you a great Oriental vibe and the service is impeccable. Food is also awesome. I will definitely come back if they continuously have promos
Crystal Dragon is one of the signature restaurant hiding in the gigantic and luxurious walls of City of Dreams Manila. This restaurant is very well known for its' Traditional Cantonese Cuisine. It was awarded as one of the Top 20 restaurants in the Philippines. Crystal Dragon promises to give their diners a premium Cantonese fine dining.
If you're after a quiet ambience and love premium-tasting Cantonese food, I highly recommend Crystal Dragon in Crown Towers Hotel. It's hidden somewhere in the VIP gaming section of City of Dreams that's why not too may crowd pass by or flock in here.
MY FAVE:
When you've literally enjoyed every food you ordered, it's really hard to tell which one is your favorite dish, right? I suggest you try a little bit of everything each time you visit and let me know if my conclusion made sense. Haha! 👌👌👌
Hidden behind giant imperial doors like a slice of Shangri-La in the Crown Plaza Hotel at City Of Dreams is Crystal Dragon ,a Cantonese Fine Dining Restaurant. The interiors of the restaurant are filled with beautiful Imperial Chinese decor while the purple and gold color scheme exudes oriental allure without being too ostentatious.. We were lucky to dine in one of their luxe dining rooms which seats 15 with its own powder room (available only upon request so make sure to get here early). The walls are lined with golden brocade embroidered with peacocks and a huge fringe lantern chandelier hangs on the ceiling which amps up the luxurious feel. Me and my fellow Zomato Foodies were treated to an exclusive feast featuring their best selling dishes for lunch. Here’s the rundown
‣‣Braised Supreme Seafood Treasures Soup: The chef himself told us that this was his favorite dish. The soup was simple yet had complex nuances of sweet, savory, and a hint of sour. The thin slices of seafood and mushroom added a nice chewy texture to the thick, hot soup.
‣‣‣Cantonese Steamed Three Dimsum Combination: This is probably the most extravagantly presented hakaw i have seen yet. Three huge pieces of dumpling have been carefully colored to mimic fishes from the coral reefs. One in a zebra pattern was topped with a gold foil which was a nice touch. The dumplings themselves are marvelously decorated and the flavors of the different seafood used were kept pure so the delicate flavors of the sea stand out. I particularly liked the Steamed Abalone and Pork Siew Mai which had a nice mild flavored pork dumpling base while the slice of abalone added an intense fishy flavor which was a great contrast.
‣Crispy Golden Swan Dumpling with Salted Duck Egg Yolk: This one was another beaituflly prepared dish I’ve seen this presentation before but the attention to detail has never failed to impress me. This dish was sort of a cross between a pastry and dumpling however, i felt like the salted egg yolk was too overpowering for my liking.
‣‣Steamed Rice Roll with Crispy Seafood: This dish was a nice play between two distinct textures, the sheath of rice wrapping was soft and almost gelatinous while the crispy seafood was like a crispy dumpling. The flavors were mild and pleasant and you could eat it two ways by dipping in peanut sauce or soy based sauce.
‣‣‣Wok-Fried Turnip Cake with Seafood XO Sauce: Now we’re moving from dumpling dishes to stir fried dishes and this one was spectacular. Although it doesn't have the pzazz presentation wise compared to the rest, the generous servings and the appetizing mix of colors was already enough to make you hungry. The flavors we’re absolutely spot on and captured that familiar flavor that you could only get in Chinese restaurants. The turnip cake cubes were sweet and savory with a nice soft almost tofu like texture while it was cooking it in XO sauce added a nice garlicky-spice which went perfectly well together. I couldn’t stop myself from reaching for a bite one after the other.
‣‣Wok-Fried Egg Noodles: At first, I wasn’t quite excited upon seeing this dish because the serving was a little small but after finishing this dish i realized that size doesn’t matter if the flavors are spot on. The familiar flavors in stir fried noodles or Pancit as we normally have it are condensed, almost concentrated into a small plate of flavorful noodles, crisp veggies, and tender slices of pork. Its a little oily but its definitely worth indulging on.
‣‣‣Mango Sphere Coconut Mousse: They truly saved the best for last with this stunning dessert. The mousse was served in a crystal goblet which felt futuristic and experimental and so it was according to the chef who told us that this was his take on molecular gastronomy. Although it looked deceptively simple, there was a bright yellow mango sphere reminded me of an egg yolk, desiccated coconut, almond jelly and pale white chocolate cream actually contained a beige coconut cream which oozed from the inside and the. This dessert was also a nice play of textures between the cream, the crispy pinipig, the gelatinous jelly, and the fruity “yolk”. The coconut creme in particular was heavenly and i couldn’t get enough that i finished two servings. Although the preparation was quite complex, the dynamic textures and delicious yet familiar flavors (think of a deconstructed Maja Blanca) made this dish truly spectacular.
Overall, Crystal Dragon offers a truly luxurious dining experience fit for a luxurious destination like the Crown Towers at City of Dreams. This restaurant is perfect for families as well as dates and they offer a vast selection of splurge worthy authentic Cantonese dishes like dim sum, wok-fried dishes, and roasts. The service was also excellent and our hosts, including the Head Chef provided us with great and entertaining company. Such a delightful dining experience will definitely warrant a revisit in the near future!
I immediately said 'YES!' when Zomato invited me to a FMU in City of Dreams, because why not? I rarely go to the South and when I heard of Crystal Dragon, it sounded new to me though I got a hint that it's going to be a Chinese Restaurant. **DIM SUM ALERT!!** HAHAHA!! 😍😂
And the day has finally come! By its location itself, you can tell that its target market are mostly the ones who are very frequent in City of Dreams such as the people who loves the casino or even the people who just fancy staycations. And when I saw the restaurant, a runway will guide you through the sophisticated interiors with high ceilings that made it look more classy.
It's time to eat and I just can't wait to share how every single dish was brilliantly conceptualized and made to real life. We were ably to try some of the finest Chinese dishes at Crystal Dragon and I wouldn't mind giving every single dish a 5/5 rating because FOOD + AMBIANCE + SERVICE are all on point!
My favorite picks are the Dim Sum (of course!), Turnip Cake (I think I might've finished the entire bowl all to myself. LOL!), Rice Roll (you can actually hear the crunchiness in every bite), and the Swan Dumpling (too soft but I had no complains!).
1. Cantonese Steamed Three Dim Sum Combination
- Steamed Abalone and Pork 'Siew Mai'
- Steamed Crystal Prawn Dumpling
- Steamed Crab Meat and Abalone in Squid Ink Dumpling
2. Braised Supreme Sea Treasures and Spinach in Broth
3. Steamed Rice Roll filled with Crispy Seafood
4. Crispy Golden Swan Dumpling filled with Salted Duck Egg Yolk
5. Wok-fried Turnip Cake with Spicy XO Sauce
6. Wok-fried Egg Noodles with Shredded Pork, Mushrooms, and Chinese Cabbage
7. Chilled Sweetened Mango Sphere Coconut Mousse
8. Chinese Tea
I am so thrilled when I heard that we will have our lunch at Crystal Dragon in City of Dreams Manila. It's a Chinese restaurant that offers one of a kind premium dim sum and other remarkable Cantonese cuisine. The restaurant is located at the Upper Ground Floor of Crown Towers Manila, Aseana Boulevard, Entertainment City, Parañaque.
At first, I was fascinated with the elegant interior of the place... from the ceiling, walls, linen, curtains, chairs and tables. We were seated in one of the function rooms of the restaurant. Yes, you can have your own privacy if you want to dine separately.
We were served tea while waiting for our food.

China Zomato China Escape With Alyzza Midz Sy Ish Meets World Eboy M. Donato Bea Atienza Ian Tapang
Located at the Crown Towers Manila of City of Dreams, Crystal Dragon is a moderately sized Cantonese fine dining restaurant that features a turn of the century interiors. Heavy wood doors will greet you and a darkly lit hallway will lead you to the reception's desk. As expected, I was very early and immediately felt the welcoming presence, although the restaurant was still closed. I was never turned away, instead I was ushered in to our private room and was immediately attended. Hot Chinese tea was served and boiled peanuts for appetizer. I love the opulence and the intricate detail of the room. Even the main dining hall has that same old world charm.
We had the following:
Cantonese Steamed Three Dimsum Combination
● Steamed Abalone and Pork Siu Mai
● Steamed Crystal Prawn Dumpling
● Steamed Crab Meat and Abalone in Squid Ink Dumpling
The dim sum platter served pipping hot. The restaurant spared no expense! The seafood was fresh, shrimp was plump. Abalone was exquisite and the added gold leaf was a nice touch!
Braised Supreme Sea Treasures and Spinach in Broth - filled with mushrooms and crabmeat, I love how they retain the crabmeat given its delicate nature. It was not mushy.
Steamed Rice Roll filled with Crispy Seafood - this is a great presentation because the crispy roll is wrapped in a layer of delicate rice wrapper, steamed to perfection.
Crispy Golden Swan Dumpling filled with Salted Duck Egg Yolk - the presentation alone is swoon! Crisp and the duck yolk was salty but not too sweet.
Wok Fried Turnip Cake with Spicy X.O. Sauce - perfect meat alternative! The turnip cake was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the shredded carrots gives a refreshing taste to the rather oil heavy dish. The added X.O. sauce is a wonder of spice and heat.
Wok Fried Egg Noodles - a small portion for one, filled with shrimps, pork and sauteed vegetables, seasoned well to satisfy the Filipino palate.
Mango Sphere Coconut Mousse - the light mango yolk in the middle explodes with more sweetened Philippine mango flavor. The toasted desicated coconut lends a delicate taste of summer.
Had the pleasure of speaking with Chef Bong Jun Choi, Executive Chef of Crystal Dragon. His exclusively created dim sum creations for the restaurant are great channel for this creativity. His take on well loved dishes are also of note - I love the egg noodles. His jolly disposition and passion for food showed when he explained the dishes. Service was quick, cordial and non intrusive. The private rooms can be reserved so long as you meet the number of heads required. The good news is they do not charge a minimum consumable (not yet) for the private rooms. Perfect for intimate family dinners or birthdays with your closest of friends. Recommended.

I can guarantee that you will be hard pressed to find a more aesthetically pleasing serving of dimsum anywhere in the world. The CANTONESE STEAMED THREE DIMSUM COMBINATION served at Crystal Dragon is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Clockwise from top: Steamed Crystal Prawn Dumpling, Steamed Abalone and Pork Siew Mai, Steamed Crab Meat and Abalone in Squid Ink Dumpling.
Crystal Dragon is Crown Tower's hidden gem fine dining Chinese restaurant.
Though the food is definitely on the pricier side, once you see the dishes, you will immediately see the creativity put into each piece of dim sum. Their presentation is absolutely beautiful, and the food tastes even better than it looks.
My favorite dish was the Three Dim Sum Combination Basket, which consists of the Abalone and Pork Sio Mai, the Crystal Prawn Dumpling, and the Crab Meat and Abalone and Squid Ink Dumpling. You can see the care and effort in the creation of each item, where each is handcrafted and steamed to dim sum perfection.
My second favorite was the Crispy Golden Swan Taro Puff with salted duck egg yolk filling. They were perfectly crispy, and they really did look like three adorable little swans, that were almost too pretty to eat.
Lastly, I need to mention that their service is top notch. Rarely do I ever comment about the service of a restaurant, but when it's this exceptional, it needs to be said. The food was always brought in in an organized but quick manner, and never was my glass of water empty.
So if you like to eat with your eyes first, this would be the perfect restaurant for you. Their presentation is a visual feast to say the least 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yes, it's possible to fall in love with Chinese food even more.
Product: Crystal Dragon takes the term "Authentic Chinese food" into a whole new level and your taste buds have no idea what's about to hit them. Chinese food is my all time favorite cuisine but when I had what they served us, it was like Cupid kept shooting me with his arrow and it was a direct hit in every bite. Boy, not only do they ace the presentation, the taste will pass your expectations with flying colors. At times like this, I wish I had a bigger appetite.
We were served:
Cantonese Steamed Three Dimsum Combination (Steamed Abalone and Pork "Siew Mai", Steamed Crystal Prawn Dumpling, and Steamed Crab Meat and Abalone in Squid Ink Dumpling), which is hands down, the most attractive set of dumplings I have ever laid my eyes on. To tell you the truth, you don't need to dip any of them in sauce to enhance the flavors; they're already amazing the way they are but feel free to do what your heart wants you to do. Please make sure you order this once you pay them a visit. Unless you're allergic to seafood!
Braised Supreme Sea Treasures and Spinach in Broth, the soup had a bitter and savory combination that fits surprisingly well together, and the thick consistency of the soup makes it kind of heavy on the stomach.
Steamed Rice Roll filled with Crispy Seafood, a dish that's soft on the outside and crispy in the middle. You can choose either soy sauce or peanut sauce to combine it with. If you use the peanut sauce, the peanut flavor will stand out and if you're into that, then it's the sauce for you.
Crispy Golden Swan Dumpling filled with Salted Duck Egg Yolk, this work of art + delicious treat is just another reason for you to realize one visit isn't going to cut it because it will leave you wondering, what else in the menu is there to wow you? Make sure to eat it as soon as it it's served, I'm not sure if it will but you will regret it if you eat it soggy. The crispy texture of the swan oozes with an overwhelming scent as you bite into it. The salted egg yolk of a duck is apparently less saltier than the one's of a chicken, and I'm not even complaining.
Wok-fried Turnip Cake with Spicy XO Sauce, the mild spiciness that the dish contains is so satisfying, that the bite sized turnips are only enough to make your mouth crave for more, and if that's their goal, they have successfully achieved it.
Wok-fried Egg Noodles Shredded Pork, Mushrooms, and Chinese Cabbage, I was already so full when this arrived in front of me but I know I just had to try it because the rest that we had were so amazing that I know I'll regret it if I don't eat this. And I was right! I loved how it was just the right amount of sweet and salty, the noodles were very light so you can eat more than you think you're capable of. The pork was cut into small strips so if the dish is too sweet for you, include one in each bite to balance it out, although I highly doubt it will be.
There's always an extra room for dessert! We had Chilled Sweetened Mango Sphere Coconut Mouse, it looked so adorable; looking like a sunny side up egg, that I wish my photo did it justice (probably not). Once you slice into the "Mango Sphere" an ooze of white chocolate will come out. Did every ingredient in this dish blend well together? Yes, yes it did. The coconut flavor is there with every bite, but each spoonful has a different combination of flavors which leaves you wanting more once it's all gone.
Venue: as you enter the place, the hallway makes you feel like you're about to enter another realm. Just let it sink in for a while and cherish the moment as you walk along the short path. I mean, the big door is like an entrance to either an enchanting dungeon or an old, classic castle. Go and see it for yourself! Also, the servers were so delightful, I actually felt like I don't deserve the way they treated me for some reason. That's how you can tell that they were trained very well.
Trust me when I say they deserved that 5.0 rating. You will not regret visiting them.
Crystal Dragon is a restaurant hidden behind the walls of City of Dreams. It's a restaurant I've never heard before, but the name itself easily suggests that it's a restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine, which I never back down from. The luxurious looking crystal dragons displayed in the restaurant, the fancy tableware, and the overall fine dining vibe of this restaurant all gave hints to a fantastic lunch ahead. Although it was hard to conceal my excitement, I was able to wait it out and experience an authentic Chinese/ Cantonese cuisine.
SHUT UP!!... You had me at "Siew Mai"........
Hidden in the Crown Towers in the City of Dreams is an opulent Chinese restaurant that would remind you that there is more to dimsum than just your plain siomai. Crystal Dragon greets each guests with its massive doors that brings you to a time when emperors ruled the Forbidden City.
The interiors and the service truly makes you feel like an emperor, an empress or even a dowager and if you have a child with you, probably, link a story about Mulan too.
Start with Crystal Dragon's authentic Canton-style dimsum creations that will surely surprise you. We got to try the Steamed Abalone "Siew Mai", Steamed Crystal Prawn Dumplings and my favorite, the Steamed Crab and Abalone in Squid Ink Dumpling. It was amazing how this steamed trio looked in the bamboo steamer baskets. The abalone "Siew Mai" was elegant, adorned with abalone and green fish roe. The prawn dumpling looked like a goldfish with its orange stripes. The Crab and Abalone dumpling had black zebra-like stripes artfully done with squid ink. Don't stop there, also try the other dimsum creations with Truffles, Foie Gras and Ube Paste.
Follow this up with a Steamed Rice Roll filled with Crispy Seafood. The play of textures of the delicate rice roll and the crispy seafood will blow you away. Complement this dish with a soy-based sauce or a creamy peanut sauce.
Next is the Deep-fried Golden Swan dumplings with prawn and salted egg yolk. So cute that you'd hate to bite the swan. When ready, bite into it and enjoy the crispy feather-like batter and the filling of prawns going harmoniously well with the rich salted egg yolks.
If you like radish cake, you'll jump for joy with their Wok-Fried Turnip Cake with Spicy XO Sauce. The diced turnip cakes are addicting. I can't stop popping it in my mouth.
To balance the meal, we had the Braised Sea Treasures and Spinach in Superior Broth. This soup is just divine with its mixed seafood, spinach and mushrooms in a velvety soup.
Escape one's siomai purgatory... Eat some Dimsum heaven in Crystal Dragon.

A fine and luxury dining experience. Another chinese restaurant but fancy and pricey. Tho the price is really reasonable because of the quality of the foods itself and the premium ingredients that they used. Not to mention the classy ambiance and the fact that it's from City of Dreams. LOL!
All foods were literally the bomb and worth it. They have huge servings too. If I can rate them 5 many times, I will. You should check them out.

Went here for my husbands birthday and we ordered like ten thousand worth of food 😂 It was so good specially the scallops!!!!!!! It is authentic Chinese cuisine and cooking and the staff is superb
Tried their lunch set menu. Food was served fast but probably cause we were the only customer that time haha. The price is a bit on the expensive side but wouldn't complain since the quality of the food was topnatch and portion was generous plus interior is very sophisticated. One of the best fine dining chinese restaurants i've been.

I've never been much of a gambler, but City of Dreams Manila never ceases to amaze me whenever I drop by. Whether it was to dine at Hyatt or take the family to Dream Play, the whole spectacle of the complex always lives up to its name with every visit. I've had the pleasure of dining at The Cafe a few times, but I had yet to even set foot in the Crown Towers. let alone try any of their restaurants.
The hot and sour soup is a good starter, as it has crab meat and scallops. For dim sum, the pan fried prawn roll in bean wrapper is small but delicious. The wok fried wagyu beef is tender and juicy. My favorite dish is the wok fried chicken with walnuts and hoisin sauce. I can't get enough of the crunchy poultry, coupled with the crunchy walnuts.
Authentic Chinese food. Everything about this place screams opulence. Loved the huge hanging chinese lanterns. The food is MSG free but still very tasty. A bit expensive but worth every penny.
Since its in COD we can expect it's good. It doesn't let down. Service is wonderful and the place looks really nice. I do suggest booking before going because the place is kind of small. Must order the Peking duck. Wow!
