The best Chinese all-you-can-eat in the metro. They have the best in house service and they exactly know when you need your plates changed. You will never have to worry about spending as much for a chinese buffet as you will really get what you pay for, even more. 10/10 will always visit with my date.

Before I start, I saw their promotion way back, and I got curious immediately! Unlimited Dim Sum for 1k+? For a Filipino Chinese like me, it’s a steal!
We tried the unlimited Dim Sum last month, we were assisted by the receptionist because we forgot to book via Zomato app. Anyway, she brought us to our seat. Upon entering, I was amazed by the opulent interiors of the restaurant. (Just like Waterside’s Interior BTW) when we got to our table, she gave us a tick box type menu where we can select varieties of Dim Sums. From cold cuts, dumplings, noodles, Chinese specialties like sweet and sour pork, fried prawns with fruit salad (which is my favorite hehe) To heavenly desserts like the all time favorite Almond jelly, and my recently favorite item, the Kataifi roll.
RAYMOND’S LIFE HACK:
If your planning to go here on a big group, let’s say 8 or more. Make a single order only, decide someone from your group who’ll do the ordering. Just indicate how many pieces of dim sum or how many serving of noodles you’re gonna have. Less hassle. And you’ll save time!

Great food and very friendly and attentive staff. Had the dimsum buffet to celebrate our dad's birthday. Our favorites are the deep-fried rice paper rolls with shrimps and mango, and the complimentary cake. Everything's yum! Highly recommended.

I had my lunch alone, always wanted to try their Dim Sum Buffet and it did not fail me. It was way more delicious as I expected. Never forget to mention, Bianca, Peter, Joana, Roven and Stacy for their exceptional service in assisting me. I consider this place as one of my happy place to go to.
We had a birthday lunch here. The service crew were very accommodating, they took care of us and were up on their toes. The food is delicious and worth it.
The food was excellent! My dining companion & I availed of the buffet on a Monday. It was thoughtful that they adjusted serving sizes based on the number of diners.
Unlike a regular buffet where you serve yourself, food is prepared per order. So cold cuts & dessert were served cold, while dimsum was hot from the baskets, as they should be.
The only drawback to this is that when the restaurant is full & 3 function rooms are occupied, the level of service drops. Tea is not refilled, dipping sauces are forgotten & it takes a while for someone to notice that you want to order some more. It actually felt like the service staff was avoiding eye contact!
All in all, I still rate this a 5 because of the food. But I'll probably go back when I know that there are less people dining there... like during a Pacquiao fight or something.

Had a great birthday celebration with Red Lantern, highlighted by the excellent service of our servers Feter John and Beverly. Our dining experience was very reminiscent to a superhero movie with highlights and a happy ending; centered towards the hero of the story Spider-man aka Feter John. Surely we’ll return again because of the food and the great experience provided to us by our server.
Tried the unlimited dim sum on a weekday for 999+. They have a lot of food included in the menu and the quality of the food was never bad. It will all depend on your taste buds whether you will love the dish or not.
What stands out is the service we got. It was very good. Overall, we enjoyed our dine there very much.

Booked the lunch time buffet in for our anniversary after seeing great reviews on YouTube. Absolutely amazing!! Lived up to all our expectations, as not only was the food so yummy but we were given impeccable service by Frances, Feter and Mikaela from the very beginning. They even gave us a cake for our anniversary!
We highly recommend trying the 'Do Po style braised pork belly' and 'Sichuan chicken feet' but regardless there's so many options, so you should definitely try everything. Very happy and full, we will definitely be back here again.

We availed the unlimited dimsum option on a weekend. It was a bit pricey but all worth it. You know a lot of technique and experience went into creating such fine dimsum as everything looked and tasted awesome.
It is definitely a must try!

Had the weekday dimsum lunch buffet. Here are the ones I enjoyed:
Braised bean curd in herbal soya - light and meaty
Glazed bbq pork with honey - balanced sweet and salty flavors
Marinated sliced pork knuckles - mildly savory and tender
Minced beef soup - porridge like which you can flavor with soy sauce to taste
Assorted meat dumplings in superior stock- refreshing soup taste with extra large dumplings
Steamed pork dumplings- par for the course but for the seafood averse, they should indicate that it has shrimp as well
Steamed pork ribs - super tender meat with only a hint of flavor
Steamed seaweed roll - usual flavor but strong on the shrimp side
Deep fried paper roll with shrimp and mango - the mango complemented the shrimp perfectly
Crispy shrimp w/ pork wonton- crunchy and savory
Crispy fried prawn salad- mixing fiesta fruit cocktail worked great with shrimp
Sauteed sliced beef with straw mushrooms- beef was almost meltingly soft with ginger overtones
Shanghai style fried noodles - full of flavor and meaty
Chilled mango sago - nice sweet-sour goodness to cap off the meal. However, the itsy bitsy tapioca tasted like hardened flour but you can let it slide.
Sesame balls - great as expected with just the right amount of red bean filling
Mini tarts - perfect bite size desserts with polvoron-like crust
Brocolli in oyster sauce - offered in place of boiled asparagus. Usual savoriness and generous helpings of brocolli florets.
Steamed aloe vera dumpling with shrimp- hakaw savoriness
Classic Cantonese chicken- crunchy chicken strips with subtle lemon sauce
The three items which can use some improvement
Dong Po - rich flavors but quality of the pork is subpar
Stirfried spinach with garlic - drenched in oil that overpowers the taste
Coco milk with sago - overly sweet with same lackluster tapioca.
They were unable to fulfill two of our orders which are marinated duck wings and boiled asparagus. These items are pricey on their own so I'm not sure if they are ever available during a weekday lunch buffet.

Been having lunch here every Saturday's for the past months. Food is authentic. They have a wide selection of dim sum. A must try for dim sum lovers. The service is excellent. Foods are so good !! MUST TRY THEIR DIMSUM BUFFET !!! THE CRISPY SHRIMP SALAD WERE CRUNCHY !! WE LOVE THEIR SOUP OF THE DAY (CORN WITH SPARE-RIBS ) but today they have chicken with papaya soup. The dimsums were served hot and the vegetables were all fresh. Give a try also to their ala-carte. Servers are all so nice , polite and always with a smile!! Thanks to FETER, JHOANA, TIMOTHY , MINDY and AUZA for being so ma asiste (assisting us). The place is so cozy.
Red Lantern is really my favorite restaurant. I always dine here because of theire very delicious dishes and ofcourse, because of theire very accommodating and friendly server. Guillermo really knows what to recommend. You should look for him when you dine here. He is very friendly and he really anticipate our needs. I would also like to thank Ms. Rechelle for being so nice and friendly and also John Kaven for attending all our needs. All in all, food and service are 100%satisfying. Will surely comeback again and again to bring my family and friends.
We had their lunch buffet on a friday. The place is definitely superb. Beautifully designed. The servers are fantastic in attending to all our needs (well, we were in a 5 star hotel so this is expected). Loved all the food we ordered except for the siomai and the fried spring rolls as both were bland. All the rest were super good! I would say for the price, the buffet was super worth it! 👌

This restaurant is really commendable. We had our lunch here at Red Lantern and the food were really authentic and the serving was really cool. Each dish has its own uniqueness and I can say that it's worth it. Also, the staff were very fast and they accomodate each costumer really good especially Mr. Guill Caballero. He assisted us very nicely with all his smile.

We tried their Php999+ dimsum buffet, it's really value for money. It does not limit to dimsum only but mains and desserts are included. Good food, excellent service and elegant interiors. I just hope that instead of duck wings (those wings are really tough!), they'll sub it with duck breast and also add roast pork to their list. But overall, a good dining experience. BTW, even though we went there simply for lunch and not any celebrations, but it's still within my birth month, so thank you for the birthday greetings and the mini cake.

"Red Lantern" is a good restaurant to dine in if you're looking for a place with great food, wonderful ambiance, and exceptional service. My family and I were very impressed with everything - from the restaurant's interior design and set-up, the variety of chinese cuisine offered, to the very friendly approach of their service crew.
I loved the dishes we picked out. my faves are the "deep-fried butter prawns w/ salted egg yolk" and the "pyramid pork belly w/ mantou" because of how well-cooked and finely seasoned they were. i highly recommend it for those trying this place out for the first time~
as for the service, not only was our server very friendly and approachable but the other servers and crew were very accommodating as well. throughout our stay, they gave us the utmost care and attention. i also extremely appreciate all the desserts they gave us on the house. they served us three kinds of yummy treats - in total. for the first dessert, they gave us a small chocolate fudge cake of some sort because our server found out that we were celebrating my graduation. for the second and third dessert (mango purée and some sort of red bean butsi), they gave us those to make up for serving our other dishes so late (w/c my family and i didn't even notice).
lastly, the layout of the restaurant contributed greatly to the welcoming ambiance of the restaurant. the place was well-lit and the acoustics inside the place was nice - so you could hear just the right amount of background noise (of chatting guests, etc.).
all in all, i guess if it was possible i'd give this restaurant more than 5 because of how much i am a sucker for good food matched w/ excellent service!
It was a rainy Saturday afternoon, I was scrolling through my facebook feed when I came across a sponsored post about Red Lantern’s unlimited dim sum offer. I was quick to share it, but little did I know that I’d be experiencing it very very soon. It was such a nice timing that my boyfriend and I were looking for a restaurant to have lunch at on that coming Monday. After checking out the menu and the price (cheapest on Mondays to Wednesdays!!!), we agreed to give it a go.
So I tried the Dim Sum lunch buffet and it was so worth it! I thought that it’s only unli dim sum but you can order EVERYTHING where you can enjoy 49 Chinese delicacies - from dim sum to, to noodles, barbecue to soup, rice roll, main course, rice, and heavenly dessert! The price is reasonable for the quality it’s only 999+ php every Monday to Wednesday and 1088+ php every Thursday to Friday! Really authentic Chinese food!!! (Sorry I forgot to take photos because I was so hungry that time)

All the dishes that were served were really good but if there's one dish that I will forever remember that I can equate to red lantern is their beef tenderloin. This is by far the best beef dish I have tasted in my entire life. The beef was really really tender and flavorful. Dishes in red lantern are generally quite pricey so I was just lucky that someone celebrated their birthday here. This beef dish is a must try if you are dining here in red lantern.
We celebrated my dad's birthday here at Red Lantern. We tried the dimsum buffet as well as their Peking duck. I loved that their buffet menu had a wide variety including the appetizer platter, tenderloin, and steamed fish. Food was delicious!
Moreover, service was awesome. Our servers - Jhoana, Israel, Rachelle were very attentive and made great suggestions. We were a big group with senior citizens and kids alike. With several of us ordering, all three were quick on their feet. Kudos especially to Jhoana who handled all our "demands" with a smile and even threw in a round of drinks for all of us!:) we will definitely be back!

Amazing personalized service. Excellent Chinese cuisine. Had the Mapo Tofu, Yang Chao, Wrapped Asparagus, Spinach Soup, Cranberry Juice, and Hot Tea with my 88-yr old tita. Rechelle, Jeffrey, and Gayle were so wonderful and attentive. And they sang me the birthday song! Senator Jun Magsaysay was also having lunch and was kind enough to send two small cartons of his son Paco's delectable Carmen's Best ice cream our way. Since my tita and I were catching the matinee of The Lion King, Red Lantern's Jeffrey, Rechelle, and Gayle selflessly offered to keep our leftovers for retrieval after the show, even putting our ice cream in their freezer. When we returned, they were closed and meeting in preparation for dinner but took the time to quickly bring our food out, while Jesse invited us to sit and served us water. Speak about customer care. Definitely worth going there for the food and service!

@JodiesDaddy and I have a new Dim Sum Buffet favorite: it’s the Dim Sum Buffet from Red Lantern in @solaireresort . The fact that this appetizer of boiled peanuts was the only decent photo I had from the meal speaks a lot; I was too engrossed with the food that I actually forgot to take photos! Here are three reasons why we loved it so much:
📌This Dim Sum buffet was definitely value for money. They not only had the usual unlimited Dim Sum’s but there was also a selection of Main Courses you could choose from that was also unlimited! We were pleasantly surprised by this!
📌 The taste of the food. I honestly didn’t try any dish I didn’t like. From our all time favorite Taro Puff to to the buchi and egg tarts we had for dessert. It was all really delicious. A plus is that I didn’t get that light-headed feeling I normally get after eating an MSG-filled meal.
📌The service was GREAT! Our servers Jhoana, Joseph and Jessie went the extra mile of making us try some of their best sellers which we absolutely fell in love with. From JodiesDaddy’s favorite Steamed Lapu-Lapu (he had two orders!) to my favorite of Deep Fried Rice Paper Rolls with Shrimp and Mango.

Bianca greeted us with a warm smile and we were seated in a nice spot of Red Lantern. She was courteous enough to ask if we have any allergens and dietary restrictions which I truly find a genuine care. Rechelle introduced their so-called “dim sum buffet” menu and she gave her time to discuss how does it works and the manner of how she communicates to us is easily understood. What I like the most is when she offered their “Jasmine Iced Tea”, a very refreshing drink and its sooths well with their dim sum selection. As dishes comes to our table, I recall Jean and Roeven constantly introducing every food to us with and how it can be best enjoyed and what condiments should it be paired with. I appreciate their gestures of how they take care of me and my guest during our lunch in Red Lantern.

very good food especially the prawn with salted egg then the scallops with xo sauce. very tasteful and yummy. i want to recommend this restaurant and their very hospitable staffs, rechelle frances and timothy. we will definitely come back.
Very good service and food. They let us take out our buffet food because we felt bad it would go to waste. They also gave us complimentary iced tea. They are very attentive and ambience is very nice. Would eat here again!
Had our pre-valentines date with our friends here and we totally enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The food was really good👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Our servers, Cynthia, Rechelle, Edmond and Timothy were efficient, courteus and very helpful. Amazing Experience indeed! Well spent Valentines date❤️

Overall experience was great! Katayfi Avocado is a must try for dessert hunters. Other dimsum treats are excellent as well but BBQ needs a little bit of improvement. Ambiance was top notch. Our server, Feter, was very sociable and nice as well. Will recommend to everyone
The time we came off from the high limit casinos of Solaire we were impressed by the waterfall fountain entrance with the elegant look of receptionist standing at the huge door of Red Lantern restaurant. I have been to some amazing restaurants , but I have to rank Red Lantern the best in region! Expect the Topnotch service and facilities. The dimsum buffet is definitely worth the price and value of what they are serving. Staff are very patient, listen to guests request and pay attention to every detail. I am very familiar with chinese restaurants around manila, but when my friend invited me for a lunch... Red Lantern is really a good choice. It has a nice ambiance that really made us very comfortable to dine. The staffs are friendly and accommodating
especially Guill and Feter who really did a great job providing excellent service to us! I would really recommend this restaurant to my friends and family! Kudos to this Team!
