Samgyupsalamat is my go to KBBQ spot back in college, years ago. This branch is by far one of the best in town! Food is straightforward, meats are basic but good! They have a good selection of side dishes, the green onion dish is a classic favorite. Service was top notch as well. The servers made sure that we get to place another meat order as soon as we ran out and that we won’t ran out of sides! The fast service really made our experience here. Please keep it up!

Samgyupsalamat started the “Unlimited Korean BBQ Restaurant” craze here in the Philippines, and it looks like its here to stay! They started in 2012, and now with more than 30 branches nationwide.
Actually, this was my first time dining at SAMGYUPSALAMAT Bicutan and it was worth the trip! I ate a lot at Conrad Hotel before going to this place so I was not expecting to eat a lot but the freshness and the juiciness of the meat made me eat more than I should! We stayed for around three hours in this restaurant because of their good food!

What I really liked about SAMGYUPSALAMAT Bicutan is the big portion of Korean BBQs! You will not feel short-changed and will get your money's worth. The place looks high-end and K-Pop music videos continues to play in the background. Their staffs were trained well too, and they look like they're having fun with their work. They are attentive to our needs and quite friendly to their costumers, too! I heard this branch also employs PWDs! Kudos to the management for giving equal employment opportunities for all.
I've tried a few branches of Samgyupsalamat before and the restaurant never failed to provide quality meat choices and great side dishes that I often look for in a Korean restaurant. Samgyupsalamat has been making a lot of waves and it started to make an impact in the South. You’re probably wondering what makes this Korean buffet different from the rest? Well, I have to start off with first is the branch. The place is huge! It has enough seats for everyone to eat and enjoy. The atmosphere is just great with a bunch of friendly staff always eager to assist you.
Since they have a lot of meat, I will just name two of my favorites. It would have to be the Bul-Jib and Beef Samgyup. They are just easy to cook and at the same time, you don’t need to be an expert cook to make a great BBQ meal! Just make sure to switch sides every 3 minutes. I mean that’s what I do and it still tastes just as good!

You guys know we’re a fan of Samgyupsalamat. For a sulit rate of P499, you can enjoy unlimited, high-quality meat and delicious side dishes. Moreover, Samgyupsalamat has numerous branches all over the metro so it’s easily available to us Filipinos. Recently, I was invited to Samgyupsalamat in Bicutan. This restaurant had just re-opened last June 2019 following a renovation.
FINALLY! After some samgyupsal eatout attempts, I was now given a chance to try one of the famous Unli Korean BBQ in the metro. And I can tell that this branch is different from the others.
🥢 Their place is so spacious and the ambiance of the resto is good for family/friends gatherings.
🥢 I can tell that their meats and side dishes are fresh and made in premium ingredients. It's easy to cook in their charcoal grill and it's not creating too much smoke that leaves a BBQ smell in us.
🥢 Their staff is very accommodating and smiling all the time as they serve us.
🥢 The prices of their Unli Korean BBQ sets are convenient, knowing that their meats and side dishes looks expensive to avail.

My husband and I enjoyed eating here. Staff were kind and they refilled fast, the sides and meat quality were good, the place is spacious and had decent ventilation. It’s also near our house and the price is great for what you get. 😁 we’ll be here more often!

Finally a nearby samgyupsalamat branch. The staff is friendly and accomodating. This branch is also spacious especially the waiting area. It is also very clean.
Samgyupsalamat, no matter the branch, always seems to have accommodating staff. And the meat selection is very consistent. I always have to roll out of the restaurant when it's over. The sides are also really good and this is a great place to hang out with friends after the gym, a long day, or a birthday. You don't have to worry about the bill because of the all you can eat.
I will commend the resto first of all in hiring disabled staff, they do such an amazing job!
Price for the food you get is so worth it though the quality sometimes is not that all great (kimchi was spoiled the last time we went).

Out of all the branches I have been, Samgyupsalamat Don Bosco exceeds my expectations. When you arrive at the right time, you won’t have to wait long hours. The place is spacious enough to accommodate a lot of guests, however, it might be a hassle for parking if you are double parked. The staff are very attentive to take your orders and are friendly because they give you smiles despite the hectic work. My personal favorite is their B2 dipped in cheese!
Eating here thrice (or twice) a month says it all... but for real, service is good, meat is always fresh, side dishes are always delicious. Although, there was this time where their Egg Stew was kind of burnt, making the taste a little bit bitter. Overall, I love samgyup so all good!
We had a lunch-out and we decided to satisfy our starving bellies with the unlimited Korean bbq deal from Samgyupsalamat. They offer the usual meat selections of pork and beef and a number of korean side dishes and iced tea. Cheese and sauce are also available. Overall, it is still one of the best Kbbq places in Manila. We went in hungry and left full.
There were types of beef and pork slices to choose from (10!), some were bland but most were marinated well so they tasted good. Side dishes are unlimited except the steamed egg which was the most delicious.
The most convenient korean place for us since it's near our home. My husband loves everything here and i like how pleasant their staff is. Just hoping that their fish cake is available not only on Mondays. I also think they should change the cheese for the meat as it is too sweet.

They started around 2012 and still growing in the Philippines. For those people who live in South Area, you can visit their outlets that are located in BF Homes Paranaque and in Bicutan.

An influx and a trend ,the Korean BBQ style restaurants are sprouting left and right.
After a hiatus from food reviewing and sporadic posting food photos on my IG as there is a torrent of so called foodies( which I don't consider myself as such) and some "self proclaimed famous legit foodies" so recently I am veering away from this activity ,I was invited to join a sponsored foodie meet up at Samgyupsalamat Don Bosco,a branch within my municipality.So when my good friend Eboy Donato send an invite I gladly accepted it.
My first time in a Samgyupsalamat restaurant though I've been in some Korean style BBQ joints around East Asia and also here in Manila,not an expert nor a neophyte.Samgyupsalamat catered more to a wider Filipino crowd by offering friendly price points , generous servings ,cordial customer service and amicable to the Pinoy palate.And a communal experience ,no rules of who's in charge of cooking,it's a democratic dining activity and it's fun.
The experience,an abundance of meats both of pork and beef variants ( marinated and non marinated and they have 10 kinds depends on your preference).Banchans of glazed sweet potatoes,pickled leeks,onions,kimchi ,dailkon with accompanied by a steaming Korean Gyerran Jjim,nice spicy soup , unlimited ice tea.The quality of meat are fair and also satisfying,an A+ because you don't have to ask for the refill of your Banchans as they were placed on a larger than the usual banchan saucer and the staff will automatically refill them if they notice that it was empty.
We were also given a serving of Rabboki a stew like ramen with Korean rice cake and egg .A bit on the sweet and hint of heat in taste but In my humble opinion the dish should have more broth as it was absorbed easily by the noodles and the rice cake.The rice cakes' texture should be more firm as they're a bit mushy to the bite.Some improvements that should be considered to replicate the true element of the dish.
Parking a bit limited ,staff and owners are very friendly, money's worth is a B+ especially if you're a voracious eater and unlimited food slayer .

A couple of Random things to be thankful about:
1.) I was born after antibiotics were invented
2.) I no longer use a dial up modem to connect to the net (millenials, should read about this horror story sometime)
3.) That I witnessed Samgyupsalamat starting the Korean grill craze in the country.
Yes thats right, they started it all. They are the reason why almost every corner of the urban metro has a designated smokeless korean grill (I think there are even more of these than public health centers).
I had the chance to try their bictuan branch and I was quite satisfied with my experience. For the record though, Im a novice when it comes to Korean dining, I could barely remember the different sides I tried and the different cuts and slices of meat that sizzled on top of the steel grill. The one thing I remember though and it resonates with me until now would be the the taste of tender, slightly sweet, succulent almost melt in your mouth beef bulgogi I wrapped with lettuce. Its a sublime experience the first time I tried it, it truly opens your senses. Wait, I think I need another hit of this, I need to go.
[2019-Feb-11] This branch is a few hundred meters away from the mall so it is an alternative if you want to avoid the mall crowd. Good unlimited food for a reasonable price!

I love unlimited samgyupsal restaurants. Although it does make my hair and clothes smell after dining, I still enjoy these types of places. In fact, I have sort of created a list of my own do's and don'ts when eating at samgyupsal places, with the help of some tips from Korean friends, and restaurant owners themselves.
One of my favorite restos offering unlimited grilled meats is Samgyupsalamat, and it is so nice to know that the 2 branches in BF fall under the same pwnership as the one in Bicutan. This one is far more spacious though, and has quite the better layout. A group can easily race their hand, and their eager staff can attend to the customer's requests.
Tips on how to maximize the unlimited samgyupsal at Samgyupsalamat:
1. Choose from their Unlimited Sets.
Unlimited 1: 5 kinds of Pork
11am - 3pm P399
3pm - 2am P449
Unlimited 2: 10 kinds of Pork and Beef
11am - 3pm P449
3pm - 2am P499
Check which meat you are more inclined to enjoy and start from there. I enjoy beef because it cooks fast and there is little room for error (in terms of over cooking the meat). I really love the bulgogi and the plain samgyupsal cuts. I am not a fan of the overly sweet marinated beef cuts through.
2. Assign a cook. Better to have everyone take turns at cooking. What's nice with Samgyupsalamat is that their meats are sliced just right so no need for that extra step of cutting them. Have someone be in charge of the exhaust nozzle too so no one gets red smoky eyes. Hehehe
3. Don't forget the unlimited drinks and banchan! You also get unlimited ice tea, iced water and side dishes with the sets. A little suggestion, they could vary the types of side dishes. I was looking for salty sweet peanuts and anchovies that I usually get in other restos, so maybe they could add that to their banchan list. You get unlimited spicy soup too with tofu bits and veggies. This was an awesome pick me upper and livens the palate from all the grilled meats you're consuming.
4. Order other dishes too to cut down on umay. We had the Gyeran Mari (P180) which is rolled fried egg with vegetables and seaweed. This was really appetizing and the egg was fluffy and nicely flavored with the umami of the seaweed. The Dduk Ramyun (P150) is spicy Korean noodle soup with noodles, egg and rice cake tubes. Quite heavy for a noodle dish, actually. There is also a Gyeran Jjim, which I enjoy putting in the soup.
5. Enjoy cooking with your friends and family. Nothing beats lunch or dinner with big groups and Samguosalamat made sure that the Korean dining experience they procide is enjoyable and noteworthy.
Troop to Samgyupsalamat Bicutan and enjoy unlimited grilled meats with the fam for just less than P500/pax!

By far, the largest Samgyupsalamat branch i have been to. Spacious, enough room for people to walk around without bumping into each other. The tables were spaced far apart to ensure conversations are not spilled over. Best time to go is during opening, 11am to get the best parking space. The restaurant is located near SM City Bicutan, if your commuting there are tricycles at the back of Building A which you can take for 9pesos (regular fare) drop off near RCBC which is beside Samgyupsalamat. Air-conditioning is cool but expect to smell like cooked meat after (not that i'm complaining).
Nothing has been said before, food is consistent among branches here in the south since the restaurant is own by the same team, which ensures quality. Ordered rhe usual pork and beef cuts. Depending on your level of grilling expertise, you get the best cooked meal each and everytime.
Service was quick, always refilling our sides, lettuce, egg souffle, drinks. I always get the thinly sliced marinated pork and beef for quicker turn over. The Samgyupsal thick cut pork is also a good choice. Pair it with some of their A La Carte menu items such as the Ramyun noodles and the rice cakes for that ultimate KBBQ experience. I also enjoy mixing the sides with the meat and sauce to create a more unique flavor. The sesame oil with the grilled meat gives it that subtle nutty taste.

This branch of Samgyupsalamat is spacious enough to accommodate several groups of customers. I've been to a branch of Samgyupsalamat in Manila before and that was quite small compared to this branch. Glad to know Samgyupsalamat is continuously expanding. So far, service is excellent. It was easy to get the staff's attention, especially when you need them to change the grill/coal. Here's a tip: choose a table near the counter. The manager was very assisting as well. I can't forget that the restaurant's background music are the reggae versions of several songs of Sia and Alan Walker, etc. and that was played on repeat.
In our table, we tried Samgyupsalamat's beef variants. Side dishes, lettuce, iced tea, cheese, soup, and gravy are unlimited. I like their soup, it was spicy and sour at the same time. Good while it's hot. We started grilling the meat. Here's what we tried:
B1: Beef Samgyup - unmarinated beef obviously lacked the taste compared to the marinated ones. I tried adding some cheese and/or some of the spicy/salty dips to make it somehow enjoyable to eat.
B2: Yangnum Beef - can be cooked faster than the other beef. marinated beef na madaling maluto stronger taste marinade
B3: Beef Boolgogi - Korean beef BBQ with sweet soy sauce. It is best paired with their cheese. It's chewy compared to the yangnum beef.
B4: Gochuchang beef - sliced beef short plate with sweet and spicy sauce. After grilling it, it looks like tocino and the taste is a bit sweet.
Aside from the meat, we also tried:
Ddok Ramyun (Korean noodle with Korean rice and egg). I like how the rice cake and noodles were so soft. Spicy.
Rabokki - Korean noodles, rice cake with sweet and spicy sauce. The sauce really sticks to the noodles. It's sweet. I like the taste. It is spicier than the Ddok Ramyun.
Gyeran-Mari - rolled fried egg with vegetables. It has layers of nori wrapper inside. It is one of my favorites as well. It was too salty (maybe in some parts?).
The only downside (which happens to most customers almost all the time) is that you'll smell Samgyupsal after dining. Overall experience is satisfactory.
Been here last week, compare to other branches ive been i think here in don bosco and wilson in san juan has the most polite and attentive staff unlike the staff sa tagaytay. I gave 4 stars only because of the smoke they cant control the smoke to the point na maluluha kana sa sakit ng mata mo. 🤣

Sobrang sipag and very attentive sa mga customers, isang tawag mo lang and hingi ng kailangan mo sa table andyan na agad. This was my very first time to eat Sangyupsal, so my sister and I ate here because it was just near us. All in all it was OK. It was not too crowded when we went there around like 1:30pm and it was a Saturday. Service was great. 👍👍
I love this branch of Samgyupsalamat 💕 yung space nila per table ay maluwag talaga, unlike other branches na medyo siksikan yung pag kaka arrange ng tables. the meat is prepared and presented properly, the service was great and ang bilis nila mag respond pag need namin ng refill. Although yung comfort room nila sa baba is medyo creey kase bagong bago pa talaga tapos ikaw lang tao. 😂 I would give this branch a high rate, good job for this branch 🖒
Very satisfied with the good food and very impressed with the great service at Samgyupsalamat in Better Living. Unlimited meat (pork and beef), side dishes and iced tea for only PHP499. Best of all, there’s no time limit so you don’t need to rush through your meal and you have more time to enjoy your food. Great value for money! Food servers are friendly, hardworking and efficient especially Harold and Renzo. Come early to avoid the long queue. Will definitely keep coming back!
Just went here for the first time and I'd say that it's worth what you spend, Unlimited drinks, unlimited sides and of course unlimited meat.
I got the Unlimited 2 and it was fantastic.
The pork and beef were delicious.
