Super moist cookies 🤤 The best cookies I've tasted. And their carrot cake is very tasty as well. ♥️
Everything we ordered were sooooo good! I personally loved their mushroom soup. Plus, their squid ink pasta is full of flavour. It can match with the ones at Antonio Uno. Quality food and value for money.
*Tip:
If you will order the mushroom soup, this has to be consumed immediately upon serving. This is to remain the consistency of the soup with its truffle oil. If you will notice, upon serving of the mushroom soup it is at a high temp (so hot) compared to the other soups like the pumpkin soup. Again, this is because of the truffle oil consistency. If it will be consumed at a latter point, the taste will be quite salty and you get to feel the texture of an oil.
The donuts are baked fresh. Loved their flavors, not too sweet and you can taste the ingredients well.
My new favorite pastry place in Molito! 😍😍
I love that everything is freshly baked everyday. I keep coming back for couple of times already and I haven't been disappointed yet. The doughnuts are amaaaazing! If you want a light pastry, try their butter croissant! It's the best that I've ever tasted. Their 1/2 baked cookies are soooo goood. Ask them to warm it for a level up experience 😉. Brioche custard bomb is a game changer. The custard filling is very generous and light. These are just some of the long list of my favorites at bungalow. Bread and pastries are my comfort food and I found my heaven at Bungalow ❤️❤️
I'm a pasta guy, through and through. So, coming in to Bungalow, I was pretty sure I was gonna order one of their pasta dishes. However, once I saw the Pineapple Glazed Belly, I second guessed myself. Pasta is just one favorite whereas pineapple and belly are two favorites. And so the decision was made. Besides, I knew my friends were still gonna order pasta anyway. 😏
I feel like I made the right decision because their Pineapple Glazed Belly was everything I was hoping it to be: sweet and (a little bit) fatty. I was also able to try their Sundried Tomato Pesto and Squid Ink Seafood Pasta. Both were equally delicious but between the 2, I feel like I enjoyed the latter just because of how surprised I am that I enjoyed it considering I'm not a fan of squid ink in general.
I enjoyed my first time so much I knew I had to come back and bring my family so they could also experience Bungalow...and also so that I didn't have to pay. 😝 For starters, we had their Hummus Toast and for our entrees, we had their Fried Chicken Sandwich and Market Fish.
The Hummus was a bit dry but that didn't stop us from devouring it completely. The fried chicken breast of the Fried Chicken Sandwich was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the homemade slaw that went with it was good, too. But, I think, what we enjoyed the most was the Market Fish. The fish slab was so big that even though our small family of 3 shared it, there was still enough for everyone. Plus, the pumpkin puree and everything else that went with it made it a very filling dish.
But, really, the real reason for coming back was to try their thick AF milkshakes. I had their Ube Macapuno milkshake and it was really thick, I wasn't even sure if I should have it as a drink or as a dessert. Regardless, I enjoyed it thoroughly... although the ube taste can be ube-er. 😊
This is already a long review so I will not bother with elaborating on their cakes and pastries anymore because everything is delicious, promise. Everything.
Great restaurant, with great food. We arrived lunch time and got a seat for 7 right away. The service is great and the staff were very happy and helpful, especially in recommending the best-sellers. We got most of the best-sellers, including the French toast and pancakes. The price at this place is just right, and the servings are very generous. I would recommend The Burger, and the Hawaii Pork. The only downside of this place would be the speed of service (especially when more people arrived), and couple of dishes, such as the grilled cheese and Pancakes, were burnt. Overall I would come back for the burger hehe. Thank you!
My new favorite cafe here in the south! ❤️❤️❤️
Love their wide variety of cakes and pastries baked fresh daily. Especially the donuts 🤤
The perfect place to have brunch with your family and friends! I love the ambiance and the staff are very accommodating! Absolutely impressed with the consistency of their dishes and I can’t wait until my next visit!
Love the espresso, latte, cookies :) the dishes are also quite good. Serving size is average :)
The place has the tropical vacation vibe on it thanks to the light color walls, high ceiling, plants, and rattan chairs.
The food was highly priced, but worth it for its quality. I ordered their Banana Cream Pie and it was bursting with flavors - cloud light feeling from the cream, coolness from the banana, smooth bite from pieces of custard pudding, and crispiness from walnut bits. To control the sweetness, the crust gave a salty taste. I also ordered their cappuccino, and it was decent and average. On the other hand, their Berries and Ricotta was also extraordinary - well plated and appeared bountiful from all ingredients - cream, bits of ricotta, strawberries, and grapes in addition to contrast of different colors. It was a hearty meal that fit for 2. The only I can tell negatively would be its rough crust, but overall, it was excellent.
Because of its food and ambiance, no wonder the place was jammed pack. I hope to visit the place again and try their other pastries.
I love, love, love this place! The ambience is very chill and laid-back and the interiors are very open which explains why lots of people take pictures there. But the star of the show is the food, most especially their glass case of assorted pastries & cakes. My go-to would be their doughnuts, and it’s always a thrill to discover the flavours they have for the day because they don’t repeat flavours daily. For 60 pesos, one would think it’s a pretty steep price for a single piece of doughnut but it’s legit worth it because the bread is so soft and airy and the cream is jammed into every nook of it, ensuring that you taste the flavour with every bite. I’ve been here every week since November and I have no regrets at all.
Good and warm ambience. Will have to come back to try the other surprise dishes.
Maybe it is good to include bread with the pasta to clean up the savoury oil of the pasta
Food is good and has a generous serving. I’ve been here twice, and both times had a wonderful dining experience. Food is a bit on the pricey side but worth it!
AMBIENCE
Because it was crowded during dinner time, we were seated at the high chairs of the bar. Interior looked quite impressive, classy, exciting and lively! We could see the chefs through the kitchen glass and the display of cookies and other pastries near the till (other end) looked premium. And for one thing, they looked pretty big! Air-con made the cafe/bakery very cozy. Prices are a little steep, in my opinion.
FOOD
Campfire Breakfast Cookie had chewy chocolate chips and broke apart like sticky rice crispies with marshmallows. Every bite packed a bit of a crunch but remained somewhat chewy, and the burnt caramel texture was quite an interesting approach.
SERVICE
Nothing out of the ordinary.
Love the milkshake and the cookies!
Came here for brunch. Super enjoyed their eggs ben. The potatoes on the side were too crunchy, making them hard to eat. It would be better if they were crunchy/crispy on the outside and soft inside.
The adobo dish was yummy and quite flavorful.
I could eat this everyday 😊
One of the best brunch places! Everything is made in-house!
Great ambience and excellent food. Nothing pretentious and everything looked like it’s trying to win an award.
So far so good. Would definitely come again to try their other offerings.
I enjoyed my stay because of the friendly staff and great ambience. The doughnuts are great, not too sweet and not too heavy. Coffee is also quite good. Will definitely come back and bring a couple of friends with me.
They have non-dairy options for coffee! Thoroughly enjoyed their almond base latte. We ordered mostly from the pastries. Their donuts are a must try!
We recommend:
Hokkaido donut
Wild strawberries donut
Pumpkin donut
Vanilla donut
Lemon Almond Croissant
Pan au chocolat
Strawberry cake - not too sweet & has a good moisture content and sponginess to it. Would definitely eat more of this if i could
Smores cookie - SUPER DELICIOUS. I LOVE HOW THE MARSHMALLOWS KEEPS THE COOKIE INTACT AND GOOEY TO A PERFECT GOODNESS. I LOVE THAT THERES STILL A VERY GOOD BITE TO THIS TOO
Super berry smoothie (? NOT SURE W THE NAME) - suuuuper yummy. Feels like one of those on-the-go energy smoothies esp w all the chia seeds which to no denial definitely makes me FEEL healthy at least. Serving is a bit too big, but definitely worth it.
Strawberry smoothies (?) - a bit too sweet and i didnt really like the mixed flavors of this. There was just something that threw me off a bit but my friends really loved it, so that probably matters more
Ambiance - SUPER CUTE & GREAT FOR IG WORTHY PICS. Their bathroom is also really artsy and worth the mirror pics

Super good food and dessert! They even make their own bread 🥰🥰🥰 I suggest trying their grilled cheese with jam and for dessert, the cookies!!!!!
Kudos to the pastry team of Bungalow, cakes are unapologetically “just right” in sweetness, Artisan bread is truly Artisan. Such a great variety of cakes and pastries available, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice here.
I recommend the Strawberry bomb, Belgian chocolate cake, and their milkshakes. So far everything we ordered when we came is great. I’ve also been on the hunt for a good chicken & biscuit dish in Manila, theirs hit the spot.
Portion sizes are fair, and pricing is competitive considering the café is in Molito. You’re off to a great start, Bungalow. Will definitely recommend to friends and come back.
Came here from Makati to try their dishes with friends, so I was disappointed when none of their pasta dishes made of fresh pasta was available. The Fried Chicken was also not available so we asked server to recommend dishes that were available. Her recommendations: Crispy Grain Bowl, Adobo Rice, Chicken and Adlai and Roast Chicken with creamed corn which we ordered. The dishes are big enough for sharing. The ingredients used are fresh and healthy, with sparse seasoning, so for people who like flavorful food this may be a little bland. The crack chocolate cake was very good and the doughnuts are the old style chewy doughnuts covered with sugar piped with generous fillings. The filling was yummy and not sweet. Overall, a cozy place for meeting up with friends over healthy food, delicious desserts and coffee.
The Damage: Php 1,200-1,800 for two
Chill cafe in the Molito area serving all day breakfasts and locally leaning comfort food. We liked the Eggs Benedict
~~TRY😍:
