Love their mango cheesecake bingsu!
Tried the melon/honeysuckle flavor years back but I didn’t like it.
Will come back for the mango cheesecake!
More than just a dessert place! Discovered something NEW today, they also have Bob Cup Bowls - rice bowls with varied toppings such as tuna, beef and mushroom. For every order of rice bowl, you get to have a glass of pink lemonade (subject to time availability). The rice bowls are good for one. The interiors are spacious, well lit with natural sunshine and beautifully designed. Recommended.
Food: We ordered the original bingsu and the mango cheesecake. I have tried other bingsu stops and this place is still on rank 1. They have a variety of bingsu to offer.
My original review on their FB wall.
BINGSU, the staff, the place We asked them for recommendations and they gave us their best seller, the mango - cheese bingsu, (mango and cheesecake chunks) and we really had to try the original one.
The Mango Cheese Bingsu (5 out of 5)
In a word, refreshing. Mangoes were naturally sweet, and tasted like they were just picked from the tree, cheesecake chunks complements the sweetness of the mango
PAT BINGSU (5 out of 5)
NOTHING beats the original, the red bean paste was on point, the almond and nuts bit added crunch and texture.
It's not just a dessert, it's an experience, it's BINGSU! We will definitely recommend and be back soon!
Plus: really cute chairs!
Cost for the two bingsu 500 php
So far, The Bingsu is still top 1 on my bingsu experience. I find it a little pricey than the other ones, but I believe na worth it naman and such a nice place to chill, too. It's not that crowded and the ambiance is cute and classy. Love much.
If you are looking for a perfect and instagrammable bingsu dessert, then this is the place to be! It tastes as good as it is presented and price is justifiable. Great ambiance, you'll feel like royalty and great environment outside. You can stopby for a photoshoot or something 😅. The only downside is that service is not very great. Waiters were unfriendly, unavailable, no greetings and didn't gave us a menu. Hope this can be improved as I would come back for sure for more bingsu. 😊
My disappoinment with the other bingsu place in Molito led me to Commercenter. I was craving for injeolmi that day and my visit to this place did not disappoint. Not only they serve a real injeolmi bingsu, they also serve it with a generous amount of nuts and shaved almonds. The injeolmi toast on the other hand could have been better.
The place is quiet and spacious and very kid friendly.
If you want to go to a decent place and de-stress or spend quality time with someone. This place is recommended. Place is quiet.
We shared for a large mango bingsu. It was delicious but a bit pricey in my opinion.
Two years ago, before all this Bingsu sightings we see today, I boldly predicted then it would appear everywhere. I actually feel it will still progress more, despite its slow pace of expansion.
Seol Hwa made it an emerging product. Ho Bing with its almost 10 branches, created the much needed boost. This relatively new Bingsu place, aptly called The Bingsu, could just be the peg to follow if we want this product to be permanent in our local scene.
I was blown away on my first spoonful of their bingsu all the way till the last one I could take. I was literally forcing myself to have more despite an already full stomach. It was that good!
It’s the super fine ice, right amount of creamy milk and fine ingredients, placed on a heavy metal bowl to keep its cool as long as possible.
I loved the Coffee Jelly’s bold yet sweet coffee kick concoction with soft jelly caffeine and a crunch from cereals. I adored the Berry with Cheese for its no shortcut ingredients, as they used the real fruits and dairy. Both of these are Php 300 each, but they turned out to be priceless.
Did I made you excited? It made my mouth long for it again. I can’t wait to hunt them down. Care to join me next? Let’s!
I like their mango cheese bing su. Well balanced in flavor and the ripe mango goes really well with the cheese. It's nice that they offer bing su in small take away cup portions. It's easier to try out different flavors before committing to a bigger serving size. Staff was friendly and helpful in recommending flavors to try.
Will definitely come back for more of their yummy offerings.
Since I was craving for bing su we went all the way here from laguna. Thank God for zomato I found you 💕. We tried mango bing su and pat bing su and liked both. Perfect for this sunny weather. Also, the place is nice and clean. I will def come back 😀
It's my first time to go here and we ordered Mango Cheese Bing Su for me and Brownie Choco Bing Su for him. According to the cashier, these are some of their best sellers flavors of bing su. I liked the Mango Cheese better than the Brownie Choco though. They both taste good but I'm not really into these kind of desserts (halo-halo, bing su etc.) so I don't think i'll look forward and get excited to come back here again unless there's a catch-up meeting with a friend or I just want to eat desserts like this.
As to the place, it is really nice and cozy, the music are good and the personnel are nice and the cashier greets in Korean. Hehe.
Overall, 3.5 is high enough but I'll still look for other dessert parlors with much affordable prices and tastes that will make me crave for more.
I always come back here and order the Mango Cheese Bingsu. I didn't know that the sweetness of the mangoes would go really well with the saltiness of the cheese. I also love their Potato Mandu, these are like the small flower-shaped dumplings covered in translucent potato wraps. They look so cute to eat! Its a good place to chill and hangout with friends.
Yum! Craving satisfied.. I have been looking there pictures on the net and here I am now posting one of my bingsu experience.. I love fruits so its a + for me that the fruit is fresh. I love everything with my mangocheese bingsu though mango are quiet sour but it is still a thumbs up for me coz i like sour fruits. Shaved ice are so perfect like the sand in boracay. Will come back and taste the other 😄
Ate here on a Wednesday evening, around 9:30pm
Price: affordable for price and serving
Serving: one order is good for two
Yum factor: everything to be expected from Korean shaved ice cream. Strawberries were a bit sour though
Ambiance: well lit, not cramped, nice furniture, seats available outdoors, clean and tidy
Service: orders arrived a few minutes after we paid for them
The friends I were with had their own preference on what they wanted us to order but since it's my first time, they left the decision up to me. We had the single Brownie Choco Bing Su for sharing. The chocolate-flavored shaved ice wasn't too sweet so they enjoyed that. I like that they layered the toppings so when you reach the bottom there's still something to be eaten instead of just shaved ice. But, in a battle between The Bingsu and the almost -nonexistent Ice Monster, the latter wins, hands down.
I am curious about their other offerings, though. The Melon Bing Su seems interesting, as well as their Chili Mandu, Potato Mandu, and Gochujang - Dduk Bok Ki.
Been wanting to try a bingsu and finally the day has come! I suggest to try it on a hot day instead of trying it at night so you could fully savor and appreciate the bingsu. Would definitely recommend this and I can't wait to try other flavors!
I never tried Bingsu. I didn't really expect much from it, actually. In my head, I've imagined it as overhyped halo-halo. Boy I was wrong. It was good. Oh god was it good! We had the strawberry and mango Bingsu. The toppings were expected but the shaved milk ice was the bomb!!
This was my 2nd time trying patbingsu. I know I know…there are lots here in Manila. My first time wasn’t even here! Yes, shame on me. Haha. But with the hot weather outside, this was just the perfect snack to cool off. I distinctly remember this place having a different name before. I read a couple of reviews before going in and found out that they separated from the other place. Not sure how legitimate that was but hey, shaved ice is shaved ice. I think the interiors were still the same which I found to be elegantly charming. They have lots of seats for their diners.
