We've never actually dined in at The Cook, but we ordered in for delivery and were not disappointed by what we got.
The pork steak salad with kimchi pilaf set easily fed a crowd of seven, and the tteokbokki was a pleasant surprise. I expected rice cakes simply tossed in a rich and peppery sauce, but got a good and spicy stew loaded not only with said rice cakes, but also with fish cake, sausage, and cheese.
My only real concern was that dishes weren't labeled and not all were packed in clear tubs, so I had to pop open the opaque covers of the paper bowls just to check which was which.
I regret, though, that I didn't order dessert; but, perhaps, when we get to dine in again, I'll do just that.
Food is great as well as the staff.
Staff are nice and polite. Always smiling.
we ordered their set A menu, with the salad and pasta. really liked both, especially the salad. wish they'd make the portions bigger for the price. also i know their tteokbokki's from Cafe Seolhwa, but that might be my fave dish. i just love tteokbokki so much lol (plus with the fried fritters, it was a match made in heaven! πππ) (make the fried fritters bigger in portion too pls!!)
suggestion: might you add kimbap in the future... it will go well with the tteokbokki (also korean style fried chicken!)
This is a contemporary Korean-Italian restaurant.
Food is good but on the expensive side. Service is okay.
Ordered their white tomato spaghetti, which is served in a huge bowl with the pasta covered in white cream. It's delicious though I find the sauce too thin as it doesn't stick to the pasta. My boyfriend loves it though.
Pork pilaf was good too but a bit underwhelming if this is all you have in the table so best order other dishes to go with it.
We also had their mango cheese bingsu, which is their bestseller. I like the sweetened mangoes in the middle.
For these 3 orders we paid about P1700 including service charge. So again, good food but will probably go back here again only on special occasions because I feel that that amount can buy much more elsewhere.
Love the food here! Specially the Kimchi Rice! Super love the spicy addictive taste. Original chicken salad was also great. Liked the Tomato Seafood Pasta too, a bit similar to Don Henricoβs Marinara.
Great for Groups
Pasta, rice & salad meals are great for sharing. So far, theyβve been consistent in serving good food. Then, wind up the meal with a bingsu dessert.
I hope they add smaller food options in their menu for solo diners.

an italian-korean food that makes it different from others. it was a nice dining experience because the service and food is good. Also, don't forget to try their bingsu.
This restaurant is a fusion of Italian-Korean cuisine. We took advantage of the Metrodeal voucher and we were surprised of the taste. No wonder customers are queing outside because it is worth the wait. Forgot to take a photo of the bingsu that we ordered because we digged into it right away.. lol. We will come back for sure.
A relatively new place in festival mall, we ordered the family set meal complete with three main courses, pizza and 2 pitchers of iced tea (all delicious and servings are very generous). There are a lot that can be improved in terms of service (a bit slow and inattentive to the needs of the customer). Overall a pleasant experience.
I've been wanting to eat here, so today we decided to have lunch. I ordered set b (pork pilaf + Carbonara with bacon) but unfortunately they served pork steak salad and carbonara. I just noticed that they gave us the wrong order when we already consumed some of the steak π
I still informed them about it and they were apologetic (although at some point I was disappointed cuz the lady knew that she served the wrong food but didn't say anything til I called and asked.).
Anyway, the serving sizes were ok but I don't think it'll be enough for 2 people. The presentation made it look like a big one but not really. The pork steak was awesome. Its dressing compliments the pork well.
Bingsu was ok too, for a small size, it can feed 3 people. Taste like Bonchon's bingsu π¦
Overall, still satisfying π
We ordered the set menu includes Chicken Carbonara, ,Pork Steak Salad ,and with the sides of fries and buttered corn. The Steak salad is so flavorful!, Even the pork itself was juicy and tender. And their pasta was not "NAKAKAUMAY" but just right to your delicate taste buds.
Fusion of italian and korean food well done! We tried their kimchi rice, it was good and it something that i have never tasted before! Their pasta was delicious too, the ingredients were fresh! Food is not too salty unlike other restaurants, we were satisfied π
Food portion was huge! (at least for me). They have their food portion display by the entrace so you'll know how much food you'll get. My mom and I had their Bacon Carbonara and Shrimp Pilaf. My strategy was to order one for each first and then try another if there's still room. But like what I mentioned, the portioning was massive! And if it wasn't really cold at our table, we could've tried one of their bingzus. Unfortunately, as I was observing the area, every table has an AC unit nearby, and I think it was all on blast! And did I mention that it was just the three of us (my mom, my baby and I) at that time dining in? Imagine all AC unit was just for us and for the staffs, right? So transferring of table won't change anything. I did not bother asking to reduce the temperature though, as my daughter was asleep on her pram at the time we came in and I don't want to ruin her rest due to change of temp. But nonetheless, I have a reason to return and try other dishes with my fam! Oh yeah! The food that we tried was amazing! ππ»ππ»ππ»
We have no idea where to eat when we visited Festival Mall kahapon. We really weren't craving for any food that time so we just went here kasi instagrammable yung food and most of the dishes they serve are good for two already. The place was really peaceful and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. (If I could rate them I'd give 5/5!) We ordered the Set Menu B (pork pilaf, bacon carbonara, and side dishes), kimchi, coffee caramel bingsu, lychee ade and pink grapefruit ade . Akala ko nakakaumaw yung carbonara because it was overflowing with sauce but it wasn't! It was really good and balanced I actually wanted to order one more plate. The pork pilaf was good, too. I really liked it. The meat in both dishes were perfect, they're really tender and flavorful. Kimchi was great. Sa beverages naman, I have no complaints din. And the bingsu, a little too sweet but it's really good din. Naubos naman namin kahit medyo full na. :) Two thumbs up!
The cook by Hongleepark was featured at a Popular FB page So I gave it a try.
βοΈ Ang dami ng serving
βοΈ Masarap ang pasta nila and yung parang risotto. I forgot the exact name. Sorry βπ»
βοΈ The bulgogi pizza - Mejo di ko nagustuhan ung lasa, parang sweet na may halo na di ko magets. Pero baka sa panlasa ko lang naman
βοΈ Price is reasonable lalo na sa serving naman nila. Php 500-750 good for 2-3pax naman ang isang order
Ang unique din ng style ng restaurant so okay ang aura niya nakaka ganda.
Staff is great. Answered all my questions regarding the food and serving.
We ordered the Spicy Chicken Steak Salad that is good for 2 persons. But really, it's good for almost 3-4 persons. The serving is big.
The salad is a double thumbs up. Love how the dressing tasted. It's like a better version of Caesar but with a little loose texture. The chicken is also good, not that spicy at all.
Overall, I would go back to this place. Make sure you have an empty stomach to finish everything. Especially when getting an additional cup of rice.
My second time eating here, a little bit pricey but food is very satisfying! Steak Salad is really good, meat is really tasty and tender. Shrimp Pilaf is good too. Pizza, is just fine for me, we chose the spicy one, I forgot how they call it and it really is spicy hahah! Bingsu is the best part YOU MUST TRY IT!
we're group of three when we ate here and one of us is my boyfriend who is just new to korean dishes βΊ.. after we had Pasta and Chix salad, i personally recommended to him the Bingsu (cus its my fave! LOL) He said it was π perfect ππ he liked everything we had in total!!!
New food concept at the new wing of Festival mall. We had their Original Chicken Steak Salad and I liked the salad dressing. The chicken was juicy and tasted good. We also had their Seafood Tomato Spaghetti and it was delicious too. Serving sizes are big since itβs good for 2-3 people already.
The Cook by Hong Lee Park is located at the Ground floor of Water Garden in Filinvest City. The place looks good and cozy. It is combined with Hobingβs cafe. We ordered the set menu and opted for Seafood Tomato Spaghetti and Original Chicken Steak. The food is good for 2-3 persons. Chicken steak has vegetables and some sides like as corn and french fries. I also tried Calamansi ade which I think has mixed soda and calamansi juice. The service was great. I just hope that the dish was served much fresh and warmer.
2-in-1 Korean Restaurant. The Cook by Hongleepark and my favorite, Hobing was here!
The set menu were cheaper compared to the single orders. Make sure to come with someone when you went here because their dishes were all good for 2 or more. Well, if you are alone, you can order from Hobing's menu though.
The Bacon Carbonara and Kimchi Pilaf was served with side dishes. The Bacon Carbonara was delicious but not exceptional. The Kimchi Pilaf was soooo good, I cried. ππ It was so delicious with the right balance of everything. The side dishes were all good as well though, I was bit surprised that there was french fries. We also ordered 1 litre of Lychee Ade and it was a perfect pair for the Kimchi Pilaf! It made the rice more enjoyable to eat.
Sparkling Lychee Ade - this refreshing drink was a perfect pair for their Kimchi Pilaf! For someone who loves lychees, you should try this! Believe me, this sparkling drink will make your dinner sparkle. π And ohh, it has fresh lychees too!
Bacon Carbonara Rating: 4.5/5
Kimchi Pilaf: 5/5
Sparkling Lychee Ade: 5/5
Ambiance: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Value for Money: 4/5
