So far the only coffee place I found in the area that the coffee is extracted well. I ordered a cappuccino milk was a bit heavy but been trying all the coffee places in the alabang-filinvest area with no success. So far, this one hits the spot. Coming from melbourne, my standards are pretty high and a bit a coffee snob. I even tried starbucks and seattles best with no luck still. So, happy this delivered a bit
Nice place.. good alternative to other popular coffee shops in the area, especially if you want more privacy or have a meeting. Accommodating staff treats you like a king. Love their coffee. Not a Durian lover, but they just really have to out them in their menu.
Mabait mga staff. :) nag snack lang kami ni bf so we just ordered fries and 2 drinks. Overall masarap yung mga frappes nila and yung ambience sosyal. :) will come back for lunch or dinner next time!
I’m giving this 4 stars for the staff who were all very pleasant and attentive. Food though is nothing spectacular. Servings are small which are not commensurate to the price. Perhaps the cost is more for how pretty the store is set up.
I come here because they serve really good food besides the fact that they have great ambience and playlist! I love bringing my friends here since this place can accommodate parties too. A must try of course is the durian coffee! However, the burger with the potatoes, Marinara pasta and sausages are also my favorite!
Was looking for a good cafe in festi to treat my friend and found this. I love that the servers there are very accommodating and they also told us the background story of this cafe. Their interior is very nice as well.
You might be wondering why they offer food/drinks with Durian? It’s because this cafe originally started in Davao.
Treasure box!
A completely different ambience from the usual cafe I go to. Very accommodating crews.
I was expecting a drink poured into a usual grande cup made out of plastic but this place is very eco friendly. My strawberry and cream drink in a Mason Jar is great! 😊 Red Velvet cake is 👍.
If someone wants a place to where (s)he can write a poem, read a book or compose a song...this can be a perfect place. A very nice view outside...I can see the sky! 😍
After seeing Bluegré for months and walking by its Bold Symbol and color, Me & my wife finally decided to give it a try. One of their selling points are the Durian Infused Desserts & Coffee, However this time we were more interested in what their dinner Meñu has to offer.
Scrolling through their Meñu, It was short and direct. They didnt offer too many pictures as
You can see but I tend to think pictures tend to corrupt my decision making when it comes to food.
We settled for the Caesar Salad, Angus Burger (No Picture) and Shrimp Pesto and Durian Cheesecake for dessert.
Food:
Caesar Salad -
It was amazing, they were generous on the boiled eggs, Caesar dressing was great and not too overbearing, I found the Bacon and Crispy chicken bits also filling. Last but not least the vegetables were fresh
My rating (5/5)
The Shrimp pesto -
It came with 3 pieces of shrimp (Come on Bluegre you can add 1 or 2 more) . It was a little bit on the creamy side and the sauce was too thick. My wife loves authentic Italian food but they Blugre catered it more to the Filipino Taste Buds.
My rating (4/5)
The Angus Burger -
It was a little peculiar. the Bun was an amalgamation of bread & muffin like ingredients ( Kind of like the Kenny Rogers Muffin) and it was certainly filling, the pickles, cheese, onions, tomatos were all fresh. It came with Fries & a thousand island dipping sauce. It was very interesting given the muffin like bun. Personally when it comes to burgers, as Da Vinci said, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
(3.5/5)
Dessert:
Durian Cheesecake-
It was AWESOME! Not too sweet, perfect blend of cheese, sugar, durian and the graham base. What more can I say. Cant go wrong with this one.
Staff:
Very friendly, smiling and accomodating.
We prefer HOT WATER ( aids in digestion) after our meals. They were more than willing to accomodate.
They have 10% service charge but we tipped regardless since they deserved it.
Pros:
Friendliness 5/5
Knowledge of menu 5/5
Seat Comfortability 5/5
Eatigo deals ( yes times are hard people!)
Warm Decor
Cons:
Had no Paninis available at that time.
Cant use Credit Card on Eatigo.
They should play a more chill playlist instead of upbeat (its a coffee shop after all)
Conclusion:
I would love to be back here, we should keep rooting and be proud of Filipino uprooted companies. Pleasant experience.
Visited twice and liked both experiences. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. The staff seem proud of their brand.
On my first visit, I was out solo. I had the chicken enchilada and a blended drink.
On my next, I was with the spouse. I had a burger, which was served with fries. It was well-seasoned and delicious. Husband had one of the rice meals. It was OK but the serving seemed a bit too little for the price. We also tried their much recommended durian cappuccino just out of curiosity (we're both non-durian eaters). We couldn't finish it, but found the hot drink quite interesting. I think durian lovers will appreciate it.
Wonderful place to chill & unwind!!! Yummy sausages & wonderful mashed potatoes.
Pica platters are best with their wine. Wine selection is good as well. 😊
Havent tried their food. Just their durian cheesecake (masarrrap) and durian frapp (loved it too).. They have just the right hint of durian. Not too overwhelming so it works for non-fans of the fruit.. Hindi nakakasawa as opposed to the usual standard cheescake and frap.
Place is nice and spacious too. Good ambiance.
I love discovering new restaurants, and this one is of our preference. We were so glad to have decided to have dinner in this place. The host was super friendly, the servers are of great customer service, and the manager is classy but friendly she smiled at us and she reaches out to customers.
Blugré Coffee is originally from Davao - no wonder why they are showcasing their Durian infused recipes. Durian coffee is the best! Very interesing flavor we really liked it 😋
This is gonna be one of my fav places in Festival Mall. 👍🏻💯 Hope they'll have more branches in Metro Manila~
Blugre is a must to visit if you're in Festival Mall. They have great food and drinks, a relax ambiance and a friendly crew. I can't get enough of the durian coffee; I bought a box to bring home. They are highly recommended.
Cozy place to hang out.. good quality of food and drink. Like the wines at night with pica pica.. love their burgers, uncle sam pesto and nachos is very good for sharing, like the menu they always change monthly. Went there saw their promo monday for durian lovers discount, tuesday happy hours and Wednesday we love the concept of a cup of tea and a piece of cake.. look forward to go there again. They have good book to read for sure you came out with happiness and peaceful heart. They open till 10pm and already accept credit cards.

It was a pleasant 1st time visit. Ruel or Roel did an awesome service to me at first and my friends who joined me after a few mins. I love the coffee and the cheesecake. I will definitely try the other dishes on my next visit. Recommended.
Located at the second level of the Water Garden wing of Festival Mall, Blugre Coffee first foray into Manila was in Manila near Malacañang Palace and at BGC, Taguig City. Both branches are now closed and I am hoping for this Davao brand to flourish here in Southern Manila. The place has a very charming interiors. Wood pallets for walls, warm Amber lights. Staff are all gracious. Sound was ambient. A few guests during my time of visit so imagine how relaxing this place was. Temperature was just right. Did not try any Food, only their Durian Coffee. Ordered the smallest mug for 185pesos plus a 10 percent service Charge, all for a Total of 203.50pesos. Yes, this is probably the most expensive cup I've had. Does it warrant the price? The Coffee was overpowered by the strong taste of Durian. I can hardly taste the natural coffee flavor. No need to add any sweeteners since the durian and Light whipped cream does the work of giving it flavor. I should have ordered the cold frappe version instead since that one i enjoyed during my visit in Davao before. Overall, it is a pleasant visit. Will try their other drinks next time. Recommended.
