Amazing breakfast food and a great mozzarella burger. The ambiance of the restaurant feels very real and authentic. The crepes that this place makes are one of the best in the Philippines easily.
Loved their La Pinay with extra Almonds. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We got a bit stranded due to heavy rains but we enjoyed our stay there.
This is one of its first branch. Been a customer evee since they started. Love their crepes and sandwiches. Eating their food makes you feel healthy even after eating those crepes and shakes!
Good service, fast and very friendly! It's the first time i heard about a creep not being a dessert and IT WAS GOOD! I love iiiittt π Hot choco is good too

itβs BLISTER day.. me and my sister time. It was after my long day at work my sister came to meet me up for breakfast. Told her we should head at Westgate, I know Cafe Breton opens at 7am. I ordered english breakfast with milk on the side and Hearty Breakfast plate while she had her coffee and Egg Casserole, It was so yummy we came back to have our breakfast the next morning. Ambience is just perfect, and offcourse the staff are great.
All crepese are delicious. The negative experience that I had experience here are with the servers. They are not friendly and slow. Then we have to keep on asking for utensils.
CrΓͺpes to die for! Everythingβs made fresh. You can actually see them prepping your dessert. Thereβs no βumayβ with the sweetness. It can be a bit pricey for some selections, but itβs worth the price naman. π Place will give you European vibes... cozy, perfect for a casual date (uuuyyyy π₯° pero wala akong ka-date, it was just me and some friends lol) Oh and they have Nutella, so they have my heart na din. π
I like this outlet of Cafe Breton. Itβs a good place to catch breakfast or brunch with friends and sit al freso outside. Staff are friendly and anticipates your needs. I was using the menu as a fan (because it was a hot morning) and he came out with an electric fan.
I had their Galette Paysanne and it was very filling. I also had their Raisins in Rum Ice Blended which was Ok.
I come back to Breton every couple months or so, and Iβve probably tried over 60% of their menu from the time they opened.
Things to remember:
1) On busy days, the crepes and galettes may take a while to arrive because true love waits and good things come to those who wait.
2) Donβt sleep on the hamburgers.
3) There will always be room for dessert.
Thereβs a reason theyβve been here for a long time. Prices may change but food quality and taste is remarkably consistent. I hope they stay around long enough so I can bring my future kids there.
This was my secret haven from stressful work days. I love their sandwiches (esp the tuna melt!!) and crepes and the ambiance feels very homey to the tastes.
Been going here since I was a high school student. Their dessert crepes are always consistently delicious. Their experimental takes on main dish crepes are not there yet, but taste pretty good.
Before heading back to Makati, we decided to have our coffee first.
We had Dracula, CafΓ© liΓ©geois and Cappuccino. We love the Dracula alot. It's creamy and delicious. It reminds me of white creamy pasta from a good restaurant. CafΓ© liΓ©geois is so chocolatey. We love this too. The Cappuccino was just okay.
Customer service was so disappointing. As we were seated outside the restaurant, we had a hard time calling their attention for our bill. It would be better if they could put someone to monitor the outdoor seating.
Overall, it was a good experience. Will definitely try other items next visit.

Super love the food ,thumbs up the coffee is nice very instagramable presentation, the waiter is very attentive overall i love everything ill comeback soon
So after eating lunch at #KaninClub, we grabbed some dessert at #CafeBreton.
Cafe Breton has been around a long time in West Gate, and even after all these years has not lost its appeal (for me). I'm glad it's still there despite having several of its neighboring restos disappear. For one thing, its charming country-cottage interior relaxes me, and I've always loved their signature blue and white plates. But of course, the reason we go is their fun menu, so perfect for breakfast or brunch, and merienda.
Although I believe you can't go wrong with any of the choices on their menu, I have my usual fallbacks. Unfortunately, many of them look the same on the outside (so the photos I took aren't much fun to look at, haha). Good thing it's the inside that matters! Haven't been disappointed yet on that score.
I like simple, so I sometimes choose from the "make your own" menu. I recently had a savory crepe from the In The Garden menu -- sauteΓ©d onions and mushrooms asparagus. Delicious. We also had the Galette Paysanne -- which had hungarian sausage, caramelized onions, asparagus, cheese, and a sunny-side-up egg. That was filling.
For breakfast last Sunday, we ordered the Dracula (simple tomato, cheese, and garlic) and Neptune (tuna). I liked the Neptune, but I prefer the mushrooms asparagus one. For dessert, we had a couple of Tarzans -- just a basic crepe with bananas and condensed milk. No complaints there.
If you love crepes (and galettes) with a ton of choices for fillings and toppings, Breton is always a great choice.
I'm always happy to dine in CafΓ© Breton. Among my favorites are Galette Breton, Galette Marrakech, Poseidon ( smoked salmon & shrimp, yum!), and La Pinay . Came here with my sis on a rainy afternoon and we both ordered the same thing- Dracula. This basic crepe is filled with tomatoes, garlic& cheese. Simple.
Satisfying. Proof that food doesn't have to be complicated to taste fantasticπ
The place is good. My friends and I went there on a rainy Thursday night and it offered a great place for conversation enjoyed with a laid back mood.
I ordered two of their best sellers - the mozzarella burger and La Pinay. Although I'm not a big fan of burgers but the mozzarella burger surprised me. The patty was tasty and juicy plus it looked good on a blue china!
As for the La Pinay, I made a haiku to describe my experience.
On one rainy night
ice cream mango chocolate crepe
made my night just right
Favorite!!! π They make sinfully delicious crepes here! If you are looking for a place along Westgate to hang, meet friends or have coffee, Cafe Breton is the best place.
I will forever be grateful for Cafè Breton!! Ordered our favorites-- La Pinay and Magnifiqué. TDF as always! Btw, kinda surprised to find out that they have a lot to offer. Their menu is long, which is a good surprise. More reasons to come back.
Cafe Breton serves the best crepes whether savory or sweet. For savory, I always order the Galette Americain. For the dessert crepe, I order the Fantastic Pinay and swap out the whipped cream for ice cream. You can also customize your own dessert or savory crepe. I also like the homey ambiance of their outlet in Westgate.
@maniladiningdiary
Cafe Breton is a classic dessert place where they serve crepes. Their ambiance and china hasn't changed since the 90's. My favorite crepes are the Dracula and de ja vu, if you want something heavier try their Mozzarella burger.
This is my go-to crepe place when I'm craving for some. My favorite savory crepe is the Galette Bretonne. This never disappoints. My family and I always order this when we're here. For the sweet crepes, I love their lemon, butter and sugar crepe. It's not too much, and it has the right amount of sweetness. Too good!
The crepes were great as always. Air conditioning could be improved especially in the afternoon. The 2nd floor dining area gets awfully hot. Must try: mozzarella burger and all the dessert crepes! ππ½
Cafe Breton is my loooooove β₯ It's always on the top of my list for comfort-food runs.
1. They have the best crepes in the metro. You can be assured of its quality, size, and affordability! I have yet to find a resto that can beat Cafe Breton when it comes to crepes.
2. The restaurant has a relaxing aura that's perfect for winding down.Β
3. The cabin-like interiors give you that fuzzy feeling which is perfect for rainy days (and sunny days too)
4. You can go here for their coffee too if you want to replace your usual coffee shop for a homier one! Do try their hot chocolate. The flavor is rich.
5. They also offer hearty meals like sandwiches, pasta, and savory crepes. They're heavy on the tummy even though they're seemingly more apt for snacking.
6. I highly recommend their burgers! The bun melts in your mouth and that buttery taste is delish.
Tip: I find making your own crepe more enjoyable so you can try that instead of choosing a fixed one from the menu! Try adding ice cream on the side as well yummmm :-)
Amazing French Breakfast Place, it has one of the best crepes Anand float beers. You should try the healthy breakfast option, delicious coffee to top it !

Ambience wise, it's best for breakfast and good for catching up with friends. It doesn't get too noisy and doesn't get too quiet. Very homey feel. Loved how the Egg Caserole was real creamy, and the Spinach that came with it was perfect. Their Cafe Americano is just the normal Americano you'll get anywhere, they have Stevia though so that's a plus. Dè Jà vu crepe was way too sweet for me, but it's good nonetheless.
If you want a dessert fix, then you should come to this place. I love mango crepes so we ordered not just 1 but 3 haha
Fantastic Pinay - mango with chocolate sauce and mango ice cream on top
La Pinay - mango with hazelnut spread and whipped cream on top. Who could go wrong with nutella?
Deja vu - mango with special mango cream sauce with whipped cream and mango ice cream on top.
Mango overload? Nah!
Cafe Breton offers the best Dessert Crepes and Galletes in town! My usual orders are La Pinay, Le Magnifique, and Deja Vu. Funny how after all these years, I have never tried anything else other than the crepes they serve. Nonetheless, it is highly recommended! :)
FYI, Some staff are inattentive sometimes. There was this one time when we waited for 30mins for our order, only to find out the crepe wasn't made. We had followed up multiple times before that then the waitress who took the order didn't even apologize for her mistake. She later did.
Someone's craving for galette this morning that we headed straight to Cafe Breton in Alabang.
I was looking for something new, but I remembered this dish was something my bf wants me to try. So I'm excited! We arrived at past 9A.M. And the place is opened with few diners. The place has consistent interiors, same as the other branches I visited (Greenbelt & Podium).
Sunday breakfast in this place felt good with calm ambiance, homie feeling and Its such a great view to see orders cooked on the spot.
We had the same order, its Breton Galette (P300) it has spinach, shrimps sauteed with crab meat & onions, fresh cream and gruyere cheese. I'm intrigued. Breton never fails to satisfy me. The dish is quite big. Lots of shrimps! I enjoyed how the fresh cream as it gives taste to the entire dish.
We share an order of Chorizo Burger with Egg (P275) its a beef patty topped with chorizo sauteed with onions. Served with salad on the side. I was quite full with the galette. I grab a bite to taste this one, rich patty flavor. Its also good!
The double americano gives the boost this morning. Enjoyed my coffeeππ½
Cate Breton has the best crepes and galettes. Our favorites are their La Pinay and Galette Paysanne. Their staff's very accommodating and the restaurant interiors are nice. Yay
Cafe Breton offers good comfort food on that cold rainy morning or afternoon. With Crepes and sausages of varying types as well as good brewed coffee. Safe choice if you want to satisfy a big craving for meat and indulging your sweet tooth.
I enjoy dining here whether for a full meal or just for dessert. It has a cozy ambiance and homey feel with an affordable price tagged on each item on the menu.
Need a place to satisfy your sweet cravings? Come by Cafe Breton and enjoy a sweet escape from the city's busy and fast paced hustle!
This place offers you delightful sweets and dishes.
I always enjoy having my hot mocha here while my kids love their crepes! Especially the one with Nutella. π
What can I say? Kids and sweets are always a matching combo π

Cafe Breton is known for their sweet and savory crepes. If you need to go to a speciality resto for crepes, Cafe Breton is the place. I enjoy their crepes and especially you can build your own if you're that adventurous type. The food is yummy and pricey, but the size and quality isn't so bad at all. So it means to say the price is worthwhile but of course you won't get really full just by eating crepe, does it?
Anyway, the interior gives a homey and relaxing feel which is really important to me. I get to judge the food quality if the place is also superb. The little details matter and that Cafe Breton excelled so much. It feels like you're in France even though I haven't been in France. The staff are very accomodating, kind and pleasant. I haven't tried their other dishes but soon I will.
Cafe Breton has always been one of my favorites. Their crepes and coffee never fail me. The only thing I could comment on this branch is their place. I think they need to renovate specially at the ground floor. Chairs and tables are to close to each other that you can already hear the conversation of the other group.
Cafe Breton's quality had never failed me. Been a customer since I was a kid and the quality is consistently great! Tried their De Ja Vu and it's really good. Best crepe place ever!
Definitely got the bang for our buck, not the last time dining!!!! Sweet and savory crepes π
Upper area just needs a waiter attending always, as they all tend to go down and we have to wait for someone to go up which is a bit time-consuming. Yep, just don't leave the upper area without someone attending to the customer's needs.
If you love desserts and coffee, this is the place to be! Perfect for chillin with friends. You can personalize your own crepes or simply choose anything from their sinful menu. Ambiance is very relaxing and staffs are accomodating. My personal favorite is de javΓΊ crepe and caramel liegeois (you can also try their version of this with a kick π ykwim). π
If you love crepes.. This is the place! My family loves this restaurant. The PB and J is one of their best.. But my favorite is the blueberries and cream. I will always remember my niece who loves their mozzarella cheeseburger. The place is cozy but a bit small. Servers are nice too. Though i wont recommend to stay and seat outside especially at night. The place needs more lamps outside. However, overall, the food is great!
With yummy pancakes and desserts along with a nice cafe-terrace feel, Cafe Breton is a certainly a satisfying spot for the occasional treat.
Finally got the chance to eat here and was not disappointed. Been hearing some good reviews about this place, mainly because of their crepes. Hubby got the bacon cheeseburger, but in my opinion it doesn't really stand out..it tasted ordinary for me and not worth spending 200 bucks.
But for their Deja Vu Crepe..it was really dreamy! The crepe was light and full of flavor, the ice cream, powdered sugar, mangoes and whipped cream was all in harmony. It complemented each other and its not too sweet. Not a fan of desserts really but i really loved it! Service was also good as they are very attentive and courteous. They dont have any wifi, so me and hubby really had a great time just spending time with each other.
Have been here for several times and i always forget to check-in at zomato. Whenever i eat here, there's just this ambiance that makes me want to disconnect from SNS, away from the rants and negativities online, so that i could enjoy the place and their food. Best time to visit the place is by morning, since there are not much customers at that time. As for the food, i give it a perfect 5. I love their dΓ©jΓ vu crepe, what is there for you not to love it if it has caramel sundae and mango. I just tried their sausage platter and i like it, its already good for 2 people. I'll definitely be back, real soon.
We ordered their A la Nutella crepe (P140). It is delicious but too sweet for my liking. My boyfriend enjoyed it though. The place itself is nice but their servers are not approachable. If you want to eat something sweet or have a dessert after eating somewhere, Cafe Breton will take care of it.
Cafe Breton is a classic goodie when it comes to everything crepe! You'll come home very happy even with just the simple butter and sugar crepe - with each crepes perfectly thin and crisp!
Favorites would have to include Blueberries and Cream (I mean, the sweet berry goodness of blueberries balances the cream and buttery crepe beautifully) and the La Pinay (Mangoes!!!).
I honestly haven't tried their food menu, because I'm always here just for the desserts. It might be a bit pricy but in my opinion you do get value for your money.

We went here for breakfast. 2 of my friends ordered the La Pinay Crepes which are awesome!! But since I'm a bit on the hungry side (as always, lol) I ordered for the Hearty Breakfast. A little pricey (for me) but it's worth it! I love the bacon (of course) and the tomatoes. I'm not sure how they cooked the tomatoes and I normally don't like tomatoes but this is an exception. My other friend ordered for a salad and it was gigantic! I wasn't able to try it but i guess it was soooo good because she finished it even before my order was served. Lol. We were all happy with our meals. πππΌ
I've been going to Cafe Breton for years and it never disappoints. The food is good and the ambiance is perfect for catching up with friends. My usual order is the Dracula, Butter and Sugar, and a cappuccino π
Great taco dog.
Cafe Breton's specialty is crepes.
I am actually a fan but wasn't in the liking of one tonight
Root beer float was nothing special.
I can't stop talking about the taco dog!

Good: you can't go wrong with this place. Almost everything on the menu is a delectable selection. I've been back so many times I've lost count. The Westgate branch is open really early which makes it the perfect breakfast place with its old school but cozy interior. I love the Hearty Breakfast, the Egg Casserole, and for crepes, the Le Magnifique, La Pinay, Blueberries and Creme
...you got to try them all.
Not so good: goodbye, diet.
#zomatoreviews
I've always loved their Butter & Sugar with Lemon crepe. The acidity from the lemon just goes perfectly with the sweetness of the sugar. It's so simple yet so delicious! I am an avid fan of their CafΓ© Liegeois. They come in different flavors, are topped with whipped cream and ice cream, and you can even have it decaf! This place will always be one of my faves, and I can't wait to go back!
Had dessert in Cafe Breton last night and I ordered my favorite, the Deja Vu. It has mangoes and a buttery cream filling, and it is accompanied by vanilla ice cream. It is probably the best dessert crepe in Cafe Breton. Aside from Deja Vu, I also recommend the Galette Breton and the mushroom burger if you are looking for something savory. This place is one of my go-to places when I want something light and tasty.

No one can seem to beat Cafe Breton's crepes. I mean, seriously. I always order Fantastic Pinay. Sometimes one isn't enough. The crepe with only Nutella on it is good, too. If you're a sweet tooth, I'd recommend you have it double-coated. Also try their Le Magnifique, Butter & Sugar and La Pinay. Everything's really good. Their burgers on the other hand are nothing special. Just go with the gigantic sausage. More satisfying. :)
CafΓ© Breton serves excellent crepes and burgers. I think this restaurant serves good food for breakfast. I tried their spaghetti and mozzarella burger and its tasty. The spaghetti reminds me of Pancake House and the mozzarella burger is special in its own way. The service is really nice and the ambiance makes it feel like home. Food comes fast. Great restaurant.
For me, they have the best crepes in town!
Food: My favorite crepes are the a la Nutella and Le Magnifique. I just love chocolate.Β
Service: I was with my teammates when I first visited this branch, it was also around 10pm already (an hour before closing), but they still accommodated our orders (there were 15 of us).
Place: Place is cozy, it's very relaxing. the aroma of the coffee lingers inside the place.
I you wanted to just relax, drink coffee and munch on the best crepes, this is the place to be.
Always the best place for some good crepes for dessert! Nothing like a good plate of Fantastic Pinay for me as nutella and fresh mangoes always make a good pair. One can choose to customize their own crepe, but you can never go wrong with the combinations already available on their menu. Cafe Breton is consistent in delivering good crepes as well as that homey and cozy touch in their branches. Their use of quirky plates and decor really add to that relaxed vibe. This branch will always be my favorite as the service is always great, and the ambiance very suited for the South.
The place was just okay, I think it needs renovation from inside & out, but if you're the type of person who likes a homey with an old school feel then you're in the right place. For me an attentive crew is a plus which they have.
For the food,
* The spaghetti was okay..
* The crepes (Deja Vu & La Pinay) were the highlight of course and absolutely A MUST TRY!
* The burgers: Breton Mozzarella & Bacon Cheeseburger were good but didn't have the wow factor.
* As a coffee lover, I really enjoyed their brewed coffee, the bitterness taste was strong which I really like.
All in all, YES I'll definitely come back for more DESSERTS & COFFEE!
My friend said they're known for their crepes that's why he brought us here.. We ordered adam & eve, La pinay and honey & almond.. and it's really yummy.. hehehe they stay true for they're known for.. I'll definitely be back to taste other dessert crepes.. ?
Love everything about this branch the interior the servers and off course the food itself... It's not as pricey as you think. They have the best crepes but not so much of the fresh juices; but, the coffee is quite good
Cafe Breton is my childhood! But we've got to put it out there, it's not as great as it used to be. This particular branch definitely needs some tender loving care - the place needs a renovation!
I haven't been for quite some time but the last time I went, I remember thinking they needed to improve on their staff hospitality.
In regards to food, the menu has always been complicated, that has never changed but they will always have such amazing crepes!
Let's get this out there, I'm not a fan of crepes. There's something about them that doesn't win me over. But Cafe Breton was different. My friend told me to order their plane butter and sugar, I didn't follow her (such a rebel, right?) I ordered their butter, sugar, and lemon, and I really liked it. It was light, chewy, and the sugar and butter made it so good. The lemon was pretty much an icing on the very good crepe.
A place to dine incase you want to cheer up yourself ? Their Crepes in various kinds and Banana Split are the best! ? will keep on coming back for sure!
Crepes before going home ain't a bad thing. I'm a fan of bananas! I love their Tarzan crepe its so simple and tasty. You can also make your own crepe toppings. Price is just right and the place is quiet. Good for after dinner dates.
Chill vibe right after you have a sumptuous meal in any of the good restaurants in the area, ending the day with a cup of joe and crepes. Cool place, good service.
Their crepes are so good! Get em while theyre still warm! It just melts in your mouth! Price and serving are just right. Drinks and their sandwhiches are good too!
I really don't know why we keep on coming back here and always order the same things -- crepes and sandwiches that's it. Whether we visit in the morning or evening, we always end up ordering the same food in the menu and wondering why we never get tired of it. Funny thing is whenever we go to Breton we still ask for the menu even if we know what our orders will be.
Maybe one of the reasons why we stick with the familiar is because their menu is too complicated. Seriously, the menu looks like a circus to me. Other than that, overall experience is always okay and I can't say anything negative about this branch.
Being that CafΓ© Breton is a franchise of sorts, the misconception is that the quality is diminished. Not true at all. In fact, they are one of the cafΓ©s that have consistency across their pastries and drinks. Points for that.
Now, onto the food. Crepes are delicious but often massacred by would-be pastry shops. CafΓ© Breton takes the "crepe" as they make their own crepe mix. Light and fluffy, with a generous dollop of whipped cream, and fruits of choice. Other places usually skimp on the fruit and cream so you end up with almost nothing but crepe. No bueno!
Hubby and I come to CafΓ© Breton when it's time to binge. It's worth it.
MUST: Cherries Jubilee Crepe, Blueberry Crepe, Hot chocolate to pair, Mango Crepe
Kain!
After about a decade of not visiting, CafΓ© Breton suddenly became one of our go-to places whenever that midday craving sneaks in. It was only when we found ourselves one day inside Westgate some time late last year, that we decided to indulge in their crepes once again. All it took is one bite for us to realize that we must not let another decade, nor another year, nor even several months pass without treating ourselves to these delicious French pancakes.
The Tarzan Crepe was pretty simple, with slices of bananas and condensed milk inside this folded crepe. A scattering of powdered sugar completed the dish. My baby's yaya kept on going how she could make a similar one at home. We may not be able to create a crepe of equal quality, but a very thin pancake batter would suffice. And it did actually, when she made some the very next day, haha. But that won't stop me from going back; I will, however, choose to order crepes with more complex fillings for my kids next time.
We've also tried a couple more crepes on other occasions, one of which was savory. The Excalibur had a treasure of ham, emmental cheese, fresh cream, and asparagus spears, sauteed with onions and mushrooms. It was good, but after a few bites, I suddenly yearned for some meat. The A La Nutella had this hazelnut chocolate spread on top of the crepe with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Too sweet for my taste, but my daughter liked it. Well, she loves Nutella so no surprise there.
And the best crepe of them all -- La Pinay. I think this will be my forever CafΓ© Breton staple. Not that other crepes are not worthy of note. It's simply a matter of unwilling to risk ordering a different kind, only to end up regretting not eating this best seller of theirs. So unless I have someone with me who willingly orders a French crepe variant surprisingly more delectable than this, I'm afraid you're stuck with me, French buddy.
The Chicken Asparagus Sandwich had chunky pieces of chicken smeared on a bed of lettuce and asparagus. I wished their asparagus spears were bigger, kinda like the ones in Pancake House's Chicken Asparagus Sandwich; the better to enjoy them. Nonetheless, this was pretty okay, and the light salad on the side was a nice touch.
Their Spaghetti was good, nothing extraordinary, but enough to satisfy a simple craving for comfort food. I have to say, still way better than fast food spaghetti.
The Breton Mozzarella Burger had this juicy beef patty with melted mozzarella, all covered with button mushrooms. As with their other snacks and sandwiches, it was pretty good, but nothing mind-blowing that you would actually crave for it. Oh, and the side salad was again a nice touch.
Overall CafΓ© Breton is a good one-stop shop for your little sweet and savory cravings. They have Rootbeer Float and they serve coffee, so yeah, I'm fine with that.
I love this place. It has a very cozy atmosphere with quaint French interior design. You can watch the cook prepare your crepes. You can enjoy the outdoor air or the view from the second floor. I absolutely love this meal crepe combo: Bacon + Tomato Provencal + Mushrooms + Chili + Egg (scrambled) + Mozarella. People should leave some room for the dessert crepe! This place is good for hanging out with friends. The noise volume can sometimes get a little high when it is full of people. Very small restroom on the second floor. I bring my friends here all the time and I never get tired of this place! Two thumbs up!
I guess this is the king of crepes. They offer variety of flavors. It was my first time to try crepes but because of Cafe Breton, I love having one right away! It made me explore different crepes around the country. I also love their pasta. Healthy and Β saucy. Β Some food are just pricey. Some are also common like the sandwich my mom ordered. Β But I can assure you that their crepes are really one of a kind. Maybe it is also the price but I don't care as long as it is delicious. The place is also cute and cozy. Their stairs way up are just kinda inclined. The staff are kind and accommodating.
