Food is superb. It is on par with Balay Dako on Tagaytay but on a cheaper price. Ambiance is good as well. The crew are very nice and approachable.
Filipino dining at it's finest. This place is what my mama would want to go because of the familiar dishes she could order. A balikbayan friend was the one who insisted to dine here because she misses the Filipino dishes a lot, and good thing in Crisostomo it's wish come true.
I was looking forward to dining at Crisostomo again but this time at a different branch and with a longer waiting list. I've been to their Resorts World branch and I enjoyed my experience there. Their laing (Leandro) is one of my favorites and we recently discovered the Manok ng Diablo which everyone on our table liked. Their Calamares ni Tales was perfectly cooked and paired well with the Paella Negra. Lastly, I cannot not have their Tamarind Iced Tea!
I enjoyed my dining experience in this branch as well, however, I do have to agree that it's pricey. The servers and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Ambiance and interiors give the place a nice touch too. It's a great place to bring the family for brunch or lunch but not when you're on a budget.
Did not dissappoint.
Serving time was unusually fast for a casual dining resti, yet food were freshly prepared and really tasty.
I was impressee that our seats did not have a table set up i between the tables (pet peeve). Then i saw the next table with 6 set ups in 2 tables. Not impressive. But I'm letting this slide.
I always enjoy having the occasional pansit or lumpia for merienda. Those are perfect merienda dishes that could either leave you feeling very full or just the right kind of being satisfied. Whatever time you choose to have these merienda treats, Crisostomo might just have something in store for you.
I don't usually drink alcohol but their white sangria is awesome. It is a fruity wine and it doesn't have an after taste. I will come back for a wine o' clock. It's perfect combination with their seafood paella.

If you're looking for a restaurant to bring your loved ones from abroad or foreigners who'd love to try Filipino cuisine, please bring them to Crisostomo. We literally loved everything that we ordered (too bad we weren't able to take photos of each dish). The staff are very friendly too. They even served us extra steamed okra when my brother in law mentioned that it was his favorite.
Their sinigang was perfect (we had bangus and hipon) but the star of our meal was their ginataang kuhol. π
You can also buy Florabel bottled goodies from them.
Craving for lutong bahay - filipino food? This is the place. They serve a wide variety of filipino food you will always crave for. I love their adobong pusit and kuhol sa gata. I love how reasonable their price is and serve it with great quantity. You will leave the place β Busog, lusog and sulit! :)
A family-friendly Filipino restaurant where we used to dine with my in-laws. I love the sinigang, kare-kare and the patriotic pseudonyms they give their crew (check out their name tags when you dine here).
The pancit we ordered was soggy and overcooked. The paella negra was really yummy. Tokwaβt baboy is always a fave! The Grill platter was also yummy!
The place to be if you're craving for Filipino food, had lunch with my parents and sister from NY, and all I heard was hmmmm, yummy. Food is just great, the people who cooked knows what their doing. Crispy pata was just tender with crispy skin. Karekare was superb, lumpiang hubad is delicious, lumpiang prito was perfectly done. Plus guinumis just refeshing. Polite and helpful St. Would definitely go back. Just Happy!

Lunch with Mum here in Crisostomo Alabang Town Center.. a little crowded inside..the food is superb!!! 5over 5 stars
Food was really great! Thanks to Eatigo for the promo.
We ordered the ff:
Paella (450) pakbet (325) baked mussels (345) Beef tenderloin (475) ... their baked mussels was really good and the size was big enough! Their Paella Filipino also taste good and their serving size is good for 2 persons.
If you're looking for a filipino cuisine, eat here. I rated it 3.5 because its kinda pricey. As what i've remember their rice was so expensive (yeah coz i eat like a monster so im concerned about it) but i love the ambiance and they're very accomodating
When it comes to good Filipino food, Crisostomo has you covered. Ranging from various meals, they'll surely satisfy your local craving.
Their paella is delicious. Don't order a pork dish (which I actually did! Huhu) because there are a lot of pork toppings in it already.
Their grilled tuna belly has a 300g minimum and it's good for 3-4 persons. It's tender and flavorful; it's a classic grilled tuna belly.
Their chocnut pie's base is crushed frozen chocnut itself. There bits of meringue and chocnut blocks on the plate. The chocolate's sweetness is actually mild but I had a hard time finishing it cause I got "umay" with the chocnut. Haha.
Their service keeps messing up. They wanted to serve desserts first and they keep giving our table the wrong order.
If you're craving for filipino cuisine, i would recommend this as they have a good selection of main course. I really liked Liwayway (Daing na Bangus with garlic). Don Rafael (Classic Crispy Pata) is good as well. As for dessert i got Kapitana Maria (Frozen Brazo de Mercedes) and it was finished in no less than 5 minutes.
If you want to eat here make sure you also do a reservation so you don't have to wait that long cos we waited for about an hour for us to actually dine in.
A bit pricey but it makes up for it. I'll definitely come back with my family or friends.
Solid place for Filipino comfort dishes, best for families and big groups so you can order a wide selection of dishes. We ordered the crispy pata (excellent crispy skin!), seafood in coconut milk (delicious), and pork barbecue (done in a kebab style, on a metal skewer). Slightly disappointed with the adobo rice (it was a little overlooked and sour). Also ordered some fish balls and tinapa lumpia to start. The ice cream was great because it was clearly homemade and not mass-produced; it had ube and cheese chunks. Also had frozen brazo de Mercedes and quest de bola cheesecake (very very good, although I only had one bite since I'm not really a dessert person).
Price point is similar to AbΓ© and Manam . Come early on the weekends as the place gets packed. It's inside the new wing of Alabang Town Center. Service is a little slow; we had to ask for water refills as they never topped them up regularly. Will definitely come back if meeting family in the South.
Craving for ginataang kuhol satisfied! π
Also so happy with our crispy thin lechon kawali with kropek, fried hito and taba ng talangka rice!
Our little picky little eater said she'll now add Crisostomo to her list of favorite restaurants π.
First time to dine here. I was with my sister and we were starving. She wanted to eat Filipino foods so we checked this place. We were 4th on line so we waited. It wasnt a long wait after all. So we ordered this fried bangus belly with green mango and bagoong on top. That was the first one i tried and it was soooo yummy. The bagoong was really good. Then we have the laing and it has coconut milk/cream on top. It was also delicious! It wasnt that spicy and it was just pure leaves. It was very good. We also ordered the cochinillo -- the quarter lechon. Wow! It was heaven. Very tender and the skin is really crunchy. They have this gravy sauce and it was also good. Its like eating a real lechon cebu. We had fresh melon juice as well. For dessert, we had Iday. Its the pinoy suman dipped in chocolate. It was also heaven coz it wasnt that sweet. The place was a bit small as they have many customers waiting outside. But really the food is great! I would love to come back and taste the rest.
I really love the watermelon sinigang. The watermelon combines perfectly with the sourness of the sinigang. At first, I was hesitant since it's my first encounter to have watermelon on that dish. However, the chef made it very well. It complements the dish.
The Best Crisostomo Branch I have tried so far!!! π Everything we ordered tasted fresh and perfect except for the Beef Sinigang which is a little bit salty but still tasted really good! My favorite is the Crispy Pork Binagoongan, oh my cooked into perfection! The Tuna Belly tasted fresh and not too fishy. They cooked the Spicy Fried Chicken well done not too fried. I've been to other Crisostomo branches but this branch is the Best! π
Food variation is good - I can't remember the names of our order (big family=big order) but I think I like their Escolta pancit and tamarind ice tea.
I was looking for a decent restaurant where I can treat my whole family for a dinner. We were 10 and we immediately got accommodated. I can easily see how presentable this restaurant is. They are also consistent with their branding and style.
Going down to their menu, I appreciate the variety of food they offer - mostly Filipino food. When it comes to the taste, my overall comment is "not too shabby".
I do not recommended the lechon as it is very costly and the serving is very minimal. Instead, try their crispy pata - a lot cheaper but will suffice for your pork meat cravings.
Usually, we always have a hard time looking for a space to partake in at the New Wing unless we ask for a reservation. However, Crisostomo assures you a great Filipino cuisine meal. I enjoyed their kare-kare the most and also their seafood. Their serving is quite a lot, especially if you order a dish that has soup. Every dish is special and even their condiments are very very high quality.
A new favorite Sunday lunch spot for the whole family since this branch is more convenient than the one at Blue Bay. The ATC place may be smaller with a strange aroma welcoming newcomers, but the signature Crisostomo taste made us loyal patrons.
#MustTry are the freshly cooked traditional lechon, as well as the Bagumbayan Lechon (Lechon Kawali nestled on Prawn Crackers), be it roasted or fried, both go so well their #MariaElena (SautΓ©ed KangKong) and Ensaladang Erehe (a delicious salad of"Itlog na Pula" , green manggo, fresh Ilocano onions and tomatoes).
For those with sakit batok issues, the fresh and tender Salome's Secret (Grilled Pusit marinating in sweet tangy light sauce) is a great option.
I can name more Must Try entrΓ©e but I'll just post the pictures to make you salivate. :)
If you are searching for filipino dishes then i can recommend this restaurant. I really like the Sinang con Laing with crispy lechon kawali on top. It's so creamy and so delicious. It was my first time to dine there with my friends at alabang town center and i can say that i am satisfied even the staffs are friendly.

I LOVE the concept of Crisostomo, fashioning dishes right after characters from Noli.
There is yet a visit where we ordered something that disappoints.
But my favorite would always be their tsokolate "eh" -- thick, rich, and just the right mix of bittersweet. Goes perfectly with their suman and manga
Crisostomo is one of my favorite Filipino restaurants. Their Mais Ala Sibyla (Suam na mais, sugpo at dahon ng malunggay) is a must-try! The soup is tasty and you really get what you paid for. Crisostomo is a good venue to take your balikbayan family and friends. A wide range of Filipino dishes to choose from!
We've been a loyal customer of Crisostomo since it's conception. And I've always been a fan of Chef Florabel Co Yatco's creations. The food generally looks and tastes great everytime. My complaint this instance is the Anastacio (deep fried catfish). It lost its crisp. May be because we were on a que and we decided to order early. I also heard some of the customers saying that it was cold inside the resto.
I love their sinigang with watermelon. It has a sweet, sour and savory soup that made me want to come back for more. It is indeed a must try. The pansit was also very tasty. They offer a very tasty twist to the common filipino dishes. The only drawback was that it was too pricey. Should you have extra cash to spare, Crisostomo is definitely wort
Crisostomo known for its authentic/modern Filipino cuisines. The place is always packed during lunch & dinner. The ambiance was great, really homey feel to it. The staffs were very accomodating & friendly. Very fast service, we didn't have to wait too long for our orders. It was kinda pricey but the food really met with my standards. The servings are good for sharing. I can say that this is one of the best Filipino restos I've been to. I would recommend the place to my balikbayan friends. The taste of their food were very consistent.
MUST TRY: Maria Elena, Escolta, Sisig Linares, Sinigang Burgos
Of the many dishes we ordered, lechon, bicol express, tinapa, sinigang, sisig, it was the fried tawilis i liked the most. The tawilis were rather small almost the size of dilis.
Crisostomo is one of the good Filipino restaurant that you could be proud of bringing your fellow foreigners to. They serve really good food and the ambiance feels homey.
Went here and had meryenda with my aunt. It's a good experience since we dine here every month. (somehow it's every month.) Their churros were good. Also the buko with the scoops of ice cream is also good. (although when it first arrived the ice cream is all melted and it doesn't look like the picture, the waiter got us a new serving and 2nd time is a charm.)

I love filipino cuisine. Especially their kuhol. They were so big inside. So yummy! π i thought they have small servings but then its not what i thought.
Children dictate holidays and that's not so bad because their decisions sometimes surprise you. Filipino food was what Annika wanted but guess what? She wanted filipino food in ihop. Sorry, kid, that ain't gonna work. Grown-ups decided to hit Crisostomo for dinner. How apt because it was also Independence day! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas at ang Pilipino! Contrary to my first review, i don't think i'm reviewing in my native language.
We were starving so we made sure we were going to feast tonight. Dressed in our indio attire (southern shorts and tsinelas vibe) as we were not prepared to eat out, we knew that we were going to be very comfortable. True enough, we spotted several friends already, if we had more table space, the fiesta would be on and we would have invited them to sit with us for dinner.
Orders were deadly, sinful and massive. I love how Crisostomo renames their food. As to how accurate, i may have to verify with a historian.
ππΎ Mi Ultimo Felicidad - a bandehado of different kinds of chicharon - bulaklak (that looks like oyster mushrooms, btw), bituka (my version of pinoy popcorn), and balat ng manok.
ππΎ Calamares ni Tales for the kids
ππΎ Don Rafael is their crispy pata. My favorite Filipino dish, I never say No to and pray that i don't need to say no to.
ππΎ Bolas de Fuego, Crisostomo's take on the local fish and squid balls. Sauces were tasty sans the fear of getting hepa B.
ππΎ Sinuglaw Tarsillo is Kilawin. It tasted better in my head or I could have made a mistake of confusing this Kilawin with that of Makati Shangri-la's. I found the pork too cooked but the other parts OK.
ππΎ La Paz Bulalo soup for everyone. I knew i needed it because my tonsils were fuming.
ππΎ Noli Me Talong, was my dad's choice and
ππΎ Maria Elena, a bed of kang kong with a few pieces of fried liempo
ππΎ There were a few orders of sago't gulaman and i ordered a pot of salabat to soothe my throat and tonsils. It may have gotten worse, btw.
Service is fast and waiter, Lucas, was accommodating given that we had 3 senior citizens, 1 PWD, two children and the rest prolly had mental illnesses you couldn't detect. π manager also was very courteous and accommodating, i forgot her name though.
Going back is definitely in order but i hope to try all their other food!! You know, if my tonsils were not just acting up, i would have ordered one of a lot on the menu. Tsk!
Crisostomo Resto is my favorite filipino resto. The name of each food was from the characters from the filipino novel. Altho this resto is a bit pricey, but the taste of their dishes is really worth it.
I love their Bolas de Fuego (squid balls) ??
I still have some mixed feelings about this quaint restaurant. The menu was very interesting and offered a variety of variations on a number of traditional Pilipino dishes. Tastes were very interesting and good and the portions were good for sharing. Service needs some work, they need to pay attention to more than just bringing food to the table and then the check. This would be an upmarket Aristocrat play on Pilipino food, just not as traditional. I would return.

Probably one of the better Filipino resto.
I think it's very difficult to find a good Filipino restaurant that is consistent in the quality of there food in most of its variant. So if I order a crispy Pata, it would be good but probably not the best I have tried. That would be the same for most of its dishes. Unlike others restaurant which would have a good crispy Pata, but the other dishes would be so so.
The price in on the high side.
Idea if you want to have your Filipino dish fix. Good place to take balikbayan guest.
7.3/10
The best Filipino restaurant i have ever tried so far. The Sinigang Gomez is a must try as well as the bolas de fuego. If you are craving for a Filipino fix then this ia the place to visit. Their sansrival is also highly recommended.
Best Filipino Restau I tried so far. All of the foods that I tried were all delicious! My favorite was their Crispy Pata -- It was so tender inside and crispy and tasty outside. I love the ambiance of the place and their very accommodating staffs. I can say that their foods are reasonably bit pricey.
I visited Crisostomo twice in ATC....the was still great. But because its weekend the place jam-packed the tendency of the of the crew is to monitor you while you eating then get your plate immediately and to let other customer occupy the place. FYI and REMEMBER THIS IS NOT FOOD CORT OR FAST FOOD RESTO, ok. Customer should enjoy the dining experience and we paid for it.
Food: Gising-Gising, KKK barbeque, Sago't Gulaman.
I'd prefer sigarilyas than green beans but that's their style. It's not too spicy, just a little kick which I like because I'm not a fan of very spicy food. Their barbecue comes in three sticks with big meat! Serving size is good for two. Their Sago't Gulaman is not too sweet which I like and it has lots of rice krispies.
Price: A little expensive but worth the price.
The staff are nice, fast service. I like the ambiance of the restaurant and the decors.
I will definitely go back here and try their other dishes.
My favorite in Crisostomo is The Bella Bandida (P295) consists of three strips of pan fried milkfish belly topped with julienned burong mangga and bagoong or shrimp paste. The ever present chopped chives were also there for decoration mainly. This was my favorite among the viands. The fish was succulent and seasoned perfectly; the acidulousness of the pickled green mangoes cut right through the unctuousness of the belly itself. And as if the flavors weren't enough, the salinity of the bagoong made it all the more appetizing...I wanna eat at Crisostomo again because it is more on Filipino foods...and for someone who doesn't really crave Filipino food, the place must be pretty good.
