The best Taiwanese food in town! I recommend ordering their sweet and sour pork. It’s cooked very crispy, and coated with sticky sweet and sour sauce with the perfect tango was. The xiao long bao is also one of the best that you can find here in Manila, and will make me return for more of their flavors.
This recently renovated branch of Shi Lin is very nice. I am glad the place is quite new and now has a lot more patrons. Always good food here and service. I've been to several of their locations and they all service consistent and affordable food in a good setting.

The only resto that has Xiao Long Bao in the south metro manila area. If you're looking for authentic Taiwanese cuisine, this is the place to go. Wish that it just offers other variants if xiao long bao.
Customer service was good. They served the food fast. And they're not that expensive for their servings. Will definitely come back for some xiao long bao
This branch allowed us to use 2 of our Zomato Gold memberships with only 2 of us guests by letting us order 4 meals. With this we had the following and paid only less than 700 pesos. Very sulit, right?

I love the noodles with chicken broth. While the Xia Long Bao isn’t that outstanding, we still love ordering it. We also ordered our favourite dessert, Nutella dumplings. Our experience in this branch is so much better than the one in Greenbelt. Staff are much more attentive and our orders were given to us at a reasonable time.
If your looking for dumplings and chinese noodles, i recommend you try shi lin. Food is plenty for the price you have to pay. They dont sacrifice the taste of the food. They also have viand and rice if ever you crave for something else

If you want the freshest juiciest dimsum in the planet, shi lin is the place for you. they have a dumpling with delicious warm broth inside. when you bite i, a delicious warm broth burst in your mouth. its like the fireworks on new year's eve. they also have a delicious vegetable and mushroom dimpling which tantalizes your tastebuds with the perfect mixture of vegetables and mushroom. the staff are so polite, professional and attentive. incant wait til i can go back again. im also craving for their pork and shrimp fried rice which is so delicate and light.
They limit us on ordering their specialties. The manager informed us that we can only order food from the first 3 panels of the menu so we had no choice but to order dumplings and soup
Awesome Xiao Long bao, hakaw and customer service. My new favorite is the asado bun with condensed milk. Kudos to the team. Will come back for sure.
It is unfortunate that Shi Lin is one of the only restaurants in the south that can help satiate Xiao Long Bao cravings.
But it is still easy for me to recommend this place.
Their Xiao Long Bao and Pork & Shrimp Wanton (Both fried and spicy steamed) are great dishes.
I wouldn't say that their fried rice is the best, but is still very good.
In addition, the Beef Stir Fry is very good and pretty soft, definitely 1 of my best recommendations here.
Service and food were great! Happy also that they have 1+1 on food from Zomato Gold. We got the Stir Fry Broccoli as our freebie.

The xiao long bao (original variant) is really good, reminiscent of my din tai fung gastronomic experience in singapore. Enough to tide over my din tai fung craving as we don't have that here yet in the south. Price is reasonable. We also had the crab fat and pork xiao long bao, which was surprisingly succulent (i was expecting its a bit malansa due to crab fat). The salt and pepper squid was also good although ive had better (north park's and superbowl's are still better imho). Also, i needed to order 3 dishes to take advantage of zomato gold privilege? That was a bit new to me. But overall im happy and ill come back.

This spot is our go to place when it comes for Xiao Long Bao. They always good tasty comfort Chinese food. Today was not any different. We had a pleasant meal with all our favorite dishes.
The services was sufficient and friendly. For good Chinese food in ATC, come to this spot.
Despite seeing the 3.7 overall zomato review, i think i can honestly say i like Shi Lin. This is the only resto i know where the servings are way bigger than the menu photos.

Big servings. The xiao long bao is so good! Definitely bang for the buck. I wish they can make their pork and siomai dumplings bigger though.

Ordered Xiao Long Bao, Salt and Pepper Squid, Sweet and Sour Pork. Overall, nice tasting food. Xiao Long Bao's flavor is very decent -- just right. Will come back for that. Though I find food options a bit limited compared to other Chinese/Taiwanese food places. They should come up with other dishes.

We love Shi Lin's affordable and delicious Xiao Long Bao! We usually get the ten pieces for 275 pesos and order a bowl of Fried Rice with Shrimp and Egg for 150 pesos. We easily get full so the servings are just right for us. You can try other things from the menu (their shrimp and pork siomai is also good) but for us, their Xiao Long Bao is the best item.
The xiao long bao didn't disappoint. Good food choices although the taste are the typical chinese food you can also find from other chinese restaurant :)
Their Xiao long bao is a must-eat and best eaten right away to take advantage of the tasty broth inside. We also ordered their beef brisket noodle, fried rice with pork and chicken, and the stir-fried green beans. Their almond jelly has a subtle sweetness to it so you won't get "umay" right away. It was a happy evening for us to have dinner here!
I still hadn't had my fill of Taiwanese food even after a fortnight of bingeing nonstop in Taipei. So when I got back this was my first stop for a late lunch.
Not as good but at least it is close 😊. The delicate Xiao Long Bao was pretty good and savoury!! The Shrimp & Pork Wonton soup with Noodles was better than I expected. But I'd be back for just the dumplings next time. I didn't care much for the Red Bean Pancake since it was seriously hard.
My boyfriend and I had our lunch here last September 1. It was our 6th anniversary. Upon seeing the menu, my boyfriend and I thought that we should give it a try. It is one of the affordable restaurant in ATC. We ordered noodles, xiao long bao, steamed bun and chicken. I forgot the names on the menu. Haha! I'm sorry. We all loved the food. They're all delicious. Food was served hot. We were surprised that the serving was a lot already. We were so full after eating all of it. Haha. The staff are all accommodating. It was a nice experience. We went out happy and full. Haha! Will definitely recommend them and will come back for sure. :) 👍👍
Shi Lin is a very good choice if you are in the mood for xiao long bao and their fried rice definitely one of the better ones compared to other Chinese places. Some of their items though such as the double boiled chicken and steamed fish seem like they are frozen before hand in a commissary and just reheated giving it a very dry and rubber like texture so just don't order those and you won't be disappointed.
Most in the menu is not available and we were told that the stocks are yet to be delivered. How is that for an excuse. Disappointing.
The food was good though and we were in a very festive mood so nonetheless it was an enjoyable and fun experience.
My favorite xiao long bao place so far. They serve quality dumplings for good prices. Their noodles, congee and other dishes are very good as well. All their servings are good for sharing too.
Service is quite slow at times though, you'd have to wait for a few minutes to be attended to, so that should be improved.
We celebrated our 9th anniversary here at Shilin. I chose this restaurant because I was curious about Xiao long bao and hakaw. Buti na lang we tried it because it' so delicious!!! We'll definitely come back for more.
The kids picked this for Chinese New Year. I let the kids decide what to order - fried rice, fried dumplings and salt and pepper squid. The kids loved everything because it was all fried. Next time I am going on my own and try their noodles and steamed dumplings.

Shi Lin is definitely one of our go-to Chinese places in the South! We go here whenever we crave for a Xiao Long Bao fix.
The Chicken Chop with Fried Rice is a very filling meal. It brings in a lot of flavor, yet not that salty. We just love the fried goodness of the chops put together with the fried rice. This is our personal favorite dish from Shi Lin. But of course, the real MVP of this place is the Xiao Long Bao. The wrapper is really firm. The meat inside is tasty and most especially, the “soup” inside is to die for. Pair it with their soy sauce and we’re sure you will come back for more!

Our family decided to dine here on Christmas day because everywhere else was full. I was seriously hoping to not be disappointed since it will be our first time to try this restaurant. Upon entering, we were not greeted by any staff. I assumed we had to wait to be seated but nobody approached us. In general, they were understaffed that evening, so the service was slow. Considering it was Christmas day, I'm giving them a pass on that. We ordered the shrimp & egg fried rice, Shi Lin fried chicken, braised beef noodles, xiao long bao, pork & shrimp shao mai, and hakaw. EVERY THING TASTED GREAT! The food was freshly and carefully cooked which made us feel at home. I think the items on the menu were priced just right. You could see the cooks in the kitchen from the dining area -- the place and the process were clean and pleasing to the eyes. The food gave us the comfort we were looking for. I highly recommend!
We tried their Fresh Taiwanese Tofu, Century Egg with Bonito Flakes, Steamed Fish with Soy Sauce, Stir-fry Taiwanese Spinach, Noodles with Sesame & Peanut Sauce, Fried Rice with Shrimp and Egg, Shrimp & Pork Shaomai, Original and Truffle & Pork Xiao Long Bao. Our family enjoyed everything that we ordered. We'd go back there again. Yay

First visit was with the boyfriend and we ordered the Xiao Long Bao, Taiwanese Milk Tea (which made me nauseous after but most milkteas do btw), and I think fried rice and chicken. We liked the food we ordered.
Second visit was with my officemates. Our orderes included the noodles which had peanut sauce, fried rice, roasted or fried chicken, and iced teas. We were satisfied with the food we ordered. But I also remember liking the Xiao Long Bao during my first visit but when I tried it again, I wasn't sure why I wanted to eat it.
We had fried rice, congee, pork chop, and shrimp and pork shaomai for our very first dining experience in Shi Lin. I thought we were going to regret it because what we ordered was not really their best seller. But it turns out that we enjoyed the food including the service. Maybe sometimes you gotta try those in the menu that are not being noticed a lot. Besides we can always come back for their Xiao Long Bao and steamed buns.
For a change, I'm not going to talk about their Xiao Long Bao. The dish that makes me come back is their Deep Fried Asado Bun. It is a plate of contradictions - the fried bun crispy to the bite but soft when chewed. The asado pork filling savory/salty but when drizzled with the condensed milk sauce becomes nicely sweet/salty to the palate. Also the bun dipped in condensed milk brings back childhood memories of eating pan de leche or pandesal with condensed milk "palaman" (filling).
I also like their fried rice and chicken chops with egg and their shrimp and pork siumai. The prices are reasonable; their servings big enough. Service is sometimes slow and needs improvement. Other than that, I supppose it's the only place that can satisfy my asado bun craving.
My friends and I are looking for a place to eat noodles so we decided to eat here. The food did not disappoint us. The staffs are accommodating.
Shi Lin is my go to place for Xiao Long Bao. However, today there was a smaller amount of soup in the dumplings. I wish they could improve on this. My favorite dish was the braised beef noodles, which was perfect for the rainy weather! The broth was super tasty and beef was soft! Another recommendation is the salted egg and chorizo bun! It tasted like a better version of bola-bola flavored siopao! I would definitely go back to taste their other dumplings.
I've never been fond of Chinese restaurants, I always found it either too oily or too distasteful. But when we first tried Shi lin I never regretted it since. I love their specialty Xaio Long Bao dumplings, Japanese cucumbers (they taste just like how my grandma makes them ❤), SPICY vegetables and Pork Wanton, Salt and Pepper Squid, and Fried rice with shrimp and Egg! To me these combinations of foods in one sitting is just heavenly.
For their dessert i love their classic Red bean Bun and Passion Berry Tea to help me digest the food. 😍
One of the better places in the metro to grab some Xiao Long Bao. Wrapper isn't too thick nor too thin and there's a generous amount of soup inside. Soup is flavorful and oily. Careful, it's hot! If you dig in right away you might torch your tastebuds and ruin the rest of your meal.
One of the other reviews mentioned something about the staff staring at you and I experienced that too! It can get quite uncomfortable because after serving your food they kind of just stand there for a moment and stare at you ... It's quite unnerving.
Creeping staff aside, great place for Xiao Long Bao and dimsum!
First time I visited this place, it was a weekday and at past 8 in the evening, so I didn't have any issues with the seating and serving time.
Food: I tried a serving of Xiao Long Bao, which was recommended to me by a friend, and was not disappointed. Take caution though, these things are hot. I love how the soup inside, it was so flavorful. Also I tried the noodles with spicy sesame and peanut sauce. The mix of sesame and spicy sauce compliments the firm noodles.
The other dimsums we tried were also great.
Service: The staff were polite enough to accommodate our orders (since we were the last ones to arrive and it was almost closing time).
Place: They have a lot of seats inside and outside the restaurant which I believe can sit 80 pax.
Great food, a bit pricey but a great value for money. I will definitely go back here.
Their xiao long bao is really good, together with a number of other dishes. I haven't tried a dish that i didn't like, except maybe the double boiled beef noodle soup. Their braised beef noodle soup is really good, if beef noodle soup is what you're looking for. To cap everything off, try their taro dumpling for dessert. Superb.
Discovered this place late last year and it has become my favorite ever since. Their dishes are excellently good for a price that's surprisingly very pocket-friendly. This restaurant is a must-try!
I recommend their ever-so-famous xiao long bao, fried rice with pork chops, spicy noodles in peanut sauce, braised beef noodles, and seafood omelette. Don't forget their cool almond jelly and red bean dumpling for dessert!
Xiao long bao at last. :) My friend told me that they have a distinct set of dimsum here and it did not fail me. I love the shirmp and pork shaomai that taste like xiao long bao. Also I love their noodles here, I ordered the beef noodles and tasted just what I expected. Overall they met my expectation with the dimsum and noodles.

This is the first Taiwanese restaurant iv'e tried dining at. My friends and i went there quite a bit late (almost 9pm) so the place was almost unoccupied except for a few patrons but the place might fell crowded if the place was full since the place was a bit small. However it was quite snazzy in a oriental kind of way

Our timing couldn't have been more perfect. On the Chinese New Year, I had their basket of Xiao Long Bao and an order of their deep fried pork buns.
Their xiao long bao dumplings remind me of the ones I had in binondo but even better. In fact, it's almost comparable to Din Tai Fung Xiao Long Bao. The hero for me however was their deep fried pork buns, which you had to dip in condensed milk before having a bite.

One of the most authentic Xiao Long in town. Service is fast except for the lady who forgot to give us the additional ginger we requested. One more thing, the staff should learn basic ethics and stop staring at dining customers. I am not sure if they know that staring at people isn't polite at all. Me and my friends were wondering as to why they do that. I just love the food so I am still giving them 4 which I unusually do. I could have given them a perfect 5 if I wasn't too bothered by their nosy attitude.
