Eating in Melt Grilled Cheesery has been one of the best decisions I've ever done ever since HAHAH! But, their branch in Molito is a favorite because of the overall ambiance and interiors. Though every branch has a character so it will surely level up your dining experience.
My staple favorites are: Classic Melt and Bacon Mac and Cheese Grilled Sandwiches
Why? Because the combination of every ingredient and balance of flavors are really excellent. Imagine mixing tomato with honey? Its just really something only Melt can pull off. Also, the service is really something I would always comeback for -- every staff remembers and engages with me.
Would definitely comeback here.

Food here is expensive but the servings are big. Ordered the Monte Cristo and the bacon mac & grilled cheese. They were really filling and tasty so that was a surprised. Although it only tasted nice if it was still hot so I guess you have to eat it fast. For dessert we tried the chocolate chip oreo cheesecake and it was good but for me not worth the price for a small cheesecake.
I love cheese! Went here after the Pride Parade with my sister and as there was a lot of traffic on our way home, we decided to try this place. this place closes late (like the other places in Molito lifestyle center). We checked online ahead of time (my sister is usi that way) so we would know what to order. We tried the Baked Mac & Cheese and and The Classic Melt. All I can say is... THIS IS CHEESE HEAVEN! I love both of our orders! A bit pricey but it sure is worth it.

I had the bacon mac and grilled cheese. They're generous on the serving and I had to keep the other half because I'm already full! Grilled cheese comes with crispy shavings of sweet potato. Friendly staff (they will all make sure you're hydrated! 😊)
I enjoyed their Bacon Mac & Grilled Cheese, especially because of the crunchy sides. The honey complements the cheesiness of the sandwich and I definitely recommend it. Though their Truffle Pasta was too simple for its price.

After getting my new 10 year passport at DFA NCR South in Metro Alabang. I craved for something that "sparked joy" since I've been cleaning clutter in my life. Just like what they say "owning less is better than organizing more." After transferring residences more times than the fingers in one hand, we accumulated a lot of stuff that are no longer relevant and necessary.
Simple living is what I aim for and each small step will bring me there. Simple is relative, though and is open to interpretation.
Being a Friday, it's a no-meat day for me. Scouring the vicinity of Metro and ATC, I landed in Molito and went inside Melt Grilled Cheesery. They have all things cheesey and gooey from appetizer to dessert. Keeping it simple, I had a Burrata Grilled Cheese Sandwich (P309). After my senior discount it went down to P263.
MGC is a venture of couple, James and Chessie Torres. They are not new to the restaurant industry, though, since Chessie's parents, Chito and Lizzie Guerrero own The Old Spaghetti House (TOSH) and Grilla. Chito's family started Cravings.
Whenever I have grilled cheese, it brings out the little girl in me and I just beam with joy. Imagine their house blend cheese mixed with home made burrata flavored with pesto, tomato slices and caramellized onion then pressed and grilled in a buttered sourdough bread. It doesn't end there, the sandwich now sits on top of salted spicy kamote fries with spiced honey on the side that you could drizzle. Andrew, my server, was gracious enough to provide extra tomato cream to make the flavors more complex. I can see you smiling right now...and thinking how good, gooey and utterly delicious this is. Now, doesn't that make you happy?
The raclette serving was a lot smaller than expected but the Beef Pot Roast Toast was amazing. The spiced honey it came with was excellent. 4/5 would recommend.
If you are a Cheese Lover, you will definitely enjoy this place! They have a wide selection of food choices and all with Cheese! Cheese heaven!

I first took interest on Melt after attending a talk on Sustainability that had Chef James Torres as one of the speakers. His methods and reasons to practicing zero-waste in his restaurant got me hooked.
The sandwiches start at ~300, and I do feel that it's expensive for a sandwich. But I'm reminded of Chef James' zero waste policy so I don't mind it as much anymore. The serving is huge and can be split between two people if you get some soup or pasta to go with it. My top picks are the shrimp gnocchi, shrimp thermidore, and the classic melt. Drizzle the spiced honey on everything if your order comes with it. It really gives a flavor boost. The tomato soup could use grilled cheese croutons instead of a whole slice though. And the cheese fondue could use a bit more variety. I have yet to try their Mains, but I'm sure it will be just as good.
Also, huge props to their customer service. I ate here with my family one night and got the best service. We sat outside because we had an elderly PWD with us and the only table left inside were the high chairs. There was a server stationed in the al fresco area the whole time, even though we were the only ones dining outside. He offered assistance just as we arrived and all throughout our meal. He even asked us if Lola would prefer warm water instead of cold. Five stars for Joshua's service alone ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

All in all, it's a bit of a splurge for a sandwich but I'm glad to do it.
Last holiday season (2018), brought my vacationing cousin here for something different, one they don't have in their home city/province. Glad she loved the cheesy goodness of the sandwiches. A bit pricey but hey, if you are a cheese lover, then you deserve to treat yourself and loved ones from time to time.
The staff was very accommodating and food was superb! The amount you will be paying is very well worth it. Keep it up 👍🏼 Will definitely come back to try more!

If you love cheese as much as I do, you’re gonna absolutely love it here! The dishes might look or sound like they’ve gone overboard, but you can’t have too much cheese. Lol. The sandwiches are good and filling, but don’t sleep on the shrimp gnocchi. You might need to jog afterwards, but this is sooo worth it. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.

I ordered the bacon mac and cheese sandwich (one of their best sellers) and to be honest it really tasted great. The food was served hot and the different flavors of the cheese bacon and macaroni just merged perfectly. Would come back again to try more from their menu.
Food was amazing especially their truffle pasta! 👍🏻 Staff are also friendly and attentive. They always make sure to refill our glasses with ice and water. The food price I think is fair for the quality of food. Will definitely go back! ❤️

I really like cheese. If only I could put cheese on every dish, if possible, I could. It was such a delight to have tried this restaurant. The soup, sandwich and pasta were spot on. Perfect comfort food. If you feel stressed, their food can help forget all your worries haha! I like also the warmth of the restaurant's crew. It makes dining more pleasant.
I was craving for pasta and thought that I might satisfy my cravings here. My friend and I ordered Creamy tomato linguine and chili con queso. Pasta was okay. What I really enjoyed was the grilled cheese because it's my favorite. Toast was crunchy and the cheese and chili con carne really complemented it. Although, I must say it's a bit pricey for just pasta and grilled cheese.
Their grilled cheese sandwiches are expensive but really good! Goes well with both tomato paste if you want the pizza type of taste or honey if you want a breakfast type of taste. Their truffle carbonara didn't really taste like truffle though so it wasn't too pleasant for me. Their sangria has a twist as it has cinnamon on it.
Generally I'd go back if budget permits. My fave from this place remains the same, the bacon grilled cheese sandwich. I prefer this branch rather than the one at Uptown as this one is brighter and less crowded (depending on the time I suppose). Service is good and waiters are very friendly.
Curiosity got the best of me so despite my reservations, I decided to take re kids here for a late lunch. My choice: Shrimp Gnocchi- potato dumplings in tomato cream sauce. Let me tell you, there was no scrimping on shrimp here. One of the beat gnocchi I've had. Kid 1went for beef- Beef Cheesy, that is, a beautifully constructed dish of beef stew atop parsley rice. That in itself would've been enough to get my vote but topping it with different cheeses? Mind lowing. The smart youngest kid wanted it simple: The Classic- cheddar and mozzarella cheeses between thick slices of generously buttered sourdough. This came with a small pot each of tomato "sauce" and honey. Simple. Heavenly. You have got to try this at least once. Nothing beats basic grilled cheese, and nothing beats that of Melt Grilled Cheesery.

Good place to go if you're getting those cheese cravings and want a hearty sandwhich. A bit on the pricey side for a sandwhich which is enough for one (although I could just be a gluttony cat) but with the ambience and the friendly staff... It's forgiveable. Not to mention those cute nicknacks they have on your table if you wanna have something to do for a cheesy first date or nth date~ whether you're alone like me or in a date or a group of friends... It doesn't feel awkward~

Finally got to visit this place! I’m a lover of cheese, so I was excited to try it out. 🧀
The place was decorated simply, nothing too famcy; their tables were cutely decorated with a small stack of “Cheesy Date Questions”, which added character.
I ordered the Beefy Cheesy from their entrée, while my friend got their Classic Melt. Both were pretty good, and were plated well too!
The size of the sandwich was big; the cheese was beautifully oozing from it while a side of shaved chips, honey, and tomato purée accompanied it on the side.
The Beefy Cheesy on the other hand had really soft meat, while the rice was amazing and seasoned well. The dish got too heavy for me towards the end because of the combination of rice + cheese in one dish.
Cost was on the pricey side, but I expected it because of how some cheese can be quite expensive. It was worth it though! They had generous servings of what we ordered!
Service was great! I didn’t have any problems while dining. I wanna come back to try the other dishes!

I absolutely love everything about this place. The ambience, the people and specially the food. Please order their Cheese Fondue. The cheese was so good I closed my eyes when i dipped my sour bread in it. But i do hope we get to have more things to dip in the cheese. The price was okay for the cheese fondue because you can really taste thry high quality cheese they used. If you arent into vegetables, the pasta (the Linguini one cooked in olive oil) isnt just for you. I dont really eat vegetables so I failed to finish mine. Overall, I think you should try it because its a wonderful experience to be there. The place was so warm and i love how they give you surveys at the end because they want to improve their services.
Ate here with my workmates after a long day. The ambience is cozy and nice! As well as the food :) We didn't expect that it would be heavy since most of the bestsellers are sandwiches, but we were actually full. The best sauce for a sandwich is thr honey!

I'm a bit biased because I super love cheese (even if I can't name all of them, I love their taste!), but my hubby who's not as much of a fan enjoyed everything we ordered! I took my family here for a Sunday lunch; I recommend arriving before 12 to avoid the lunch rush. I ordered their Le Thermidore, and I have a new standard for grilled cheese and sandwiches in general. The shrimp provides an excellent contrast in texture and tones down the richness of the cheese. You turn it back up a notch with the honey on the side.
Service was great, waiters were very attentive and took initiative to refill our ice and water. I'm curious if they can afford the same attention when the place is more crowded, but for this visit, it was excellent. Place is well-lit too, great for taking pictures (of friends and, of course, the food.)
Other items I'd recommend are: Burrata!, The Big Buff, Chili con Queso, Truffle Carbonara, Banana Nut Milkshake, Mango Cream Pie Milkshake

My boyfriend, friend and I decided to try this newly opened resto in Molito. On the table: The Big Buff (their best seller), Bacon mac and grilled cheese (it was good), Mac and cheese bars (my favorite! It goes well with the dips) and Grilled salmon (Boyfie said, it was good but not well seasoned) - They have big servings, perfect for sharing. The staffs are friendly and nice but not really attentive. Good ambiance and clean but the place was so hot. I was sweating the whole time. Overall, it was a fun experience and will definitely come back and try another menu.

My cousin and I decided to eat here as pre-birthday pig out. We both ordered the Ratatouile Pasta. I chose this because I was so curious how a ratatouile taste. It wasn't disappointing. I loved its different flavors. Service was accomodating. Will be coming back here soon 💕
Sunday, in my opinion, is the best day to go out for a family get together. We go to church, hang out, maybe watch a movie. But my most favorite part of the day is when we go out to eat. The old peeps usually want to eat somewhere they already tried, but thankfully today, they allowed the “cool kids” to choose where we eat. And as a college student who is always LITERALLY broke, taking advantage of your parents once in a while (as much as possible) is a must.

I’ve been here a few times ordered several items from the menu and everything is just so comforting. It’ll definitely satisfy your cheese cravings. The food is not only filling but delicious as well.

Been looking forward to hitting up this spot and here's my take on it:
*Venue and Interior is great! The color palette is an excellent combination of grey, dark grey, wood, white, and yellow.
*The menu is well put together - and you have to love that small cocktail menu.
*The food is amazing :-) Everything I tried is so good - from the risotto balls, the basic grilled cheese and the shrimp gnocchi (the only downside, which was a big deal for me, was that the gnocchi was the only dish that did not look like the menu photo - less serving than what you'd expect).
*The service was okay - there were a few awkward moments where one of the crew asked me if I wanted ice but I actually didn't have a glass and a drink.
Overall, this is a great place if you're craving for cream and cheese... its just that the serving amount of the gnocchi was a complete letdown for its price.
We ordered the Whatever Fries and Big Buff. The taste was good but it was overpriced for me. Fries priced at Php290 but serving size was like the smallest in potato corner. Yes, ingredients are more expensive but still. Big buff was not really big, maybe they can name it medium or normal buff and priced at Php420. 😂 Blue cheese was a catch though, you can refill it without any charge, a plus for us cheese lovers! Service was exquisite. Would like to commend Joshua for a very warm accommodation. Would definitely go back for the service. 💯
It’s love month once again, and it’s time for all that cheese! Ahaha. Being that there would be sweet cheesy moments, it’s timely that I feature this restaurant. Did I overdo it with the title? But it’s their hashtag so…justified! 😀. The place looked very bright and spacious. The high ceiling really added to that spacious and airy feel. Yes, it was somewhat decked in yellow but the details in between added that warm and welcoming touch.

I love cheese so my wife and I went to Melt Grilled Cheesery to try their food.. I have to say, I expected a bit more, but it was generally a nice experience. We tried the Bacon Mac & Grilled Cheesy and The Classic Melt and both were good.
I thought the Bacon Mac & Grilled Cheesy would lean on the salty side because you know - bacon and cheese, but it surprisingly wasn’t. And paired with the maple syrup.. it becomes a beautifully-paired tasty sandwich!
The Classic Melt is what it says it is - a classic grilled cheese. A grilled cheese so familiar it is reminiscent of what you ate when you were a kid. So it’s good Melt added a twist to it by letting you add some tomato puree and honey to take its flavor up a notch.
Despite these flavorful dishes, I said “I expected a bit more” because of the fact that on their own, both sandwiches were just okay. Had it not been for the maple syrup, the tomato puree, and the honey, the flavors would have been ordinary. Having said that, I think it would still be good to try Melt out and see what other tricks they have up their sleeve to make their food interesting. We’ll be back to check out the other items in the menu. 😁
i super love the buffalo chicken grilled cheese it’s so good!! the only thing i hate about it is that the blue cheese sauce is so konti. the salmon has also a great texture and flavor. will go back to try the other grilled cheese on the menu. 💝

My husband and I have been eagerly waiting for this branch to open and it did not disappoint! We tried the Chorizo Risotto and it was soooo amazingly satisfying but not too rich that we got satiated right away. Just the right blend of creamy that makes you want to have spoonful after spoonful. He ordered the Monte Cristo and it was a blend of sweet and savory gooey goodness. I had Bacon Grilled Cheese (?) and forgot my name after. The honey or syrup that they provided for drizzling over your sandwich helps prevent that "umay" feeling. Servings were large and filling. Very satisfied with their customer service as well. They made mashed potatoes for our 9 month old daughter even if it wasn't on the menu. Definitely coming back for more.

Love everything about this new restaurant in Molito! I’m a grilled cheese lover so their grilled cheese sandwich collection will not disappoint other grilled cheese lovers! I ordered the Burrata!—it came with a side of honey, for a sweet and savory taste. It definitely satisfied me! I love that they’re generous in filling the sandwich. Price point is high, but it’s definitely worth it. The size of the sandwich is actually good for sharing for those with small appetites. My only gripe was the chips. I think they used camote, and it was a bit tough to chew and I could taste the oil it was cooked in, but I could easily overlook this.
Ambiance was great—so cozy, perfect for a chill night out with friends. Staff were friendly and attentive as well.
As of now, they only accept cash because they’re on soft opening, but they do give 10% discount! Not bad at all, imo.

My order came straight from the flat grill. Ordered the Big Buff. I can't get enough of this massive melt! This really hits the spot. I also ordered the Pedro Pale Ale. My goodness, was that ever a perfect combination. I didn't care for the sweet potato chips but my sandwich was enough to make me a happy camper.
Oh and before I forget, I have to mention that the Parma Salad had just the right amount of dressing! I know it's something petty but most of the time when I order salads here in the metro, I get a salad thats drowning in dressing. They did it right in my book.

I was so excited to see that this haven for cheese lovers was finally open in Molito! The first time I saw a glimpse of the place, it was still under wraps but was already whetting my appetite with their photos. I couldn’t wait for opening day.

Started with a Tomato soup and Butternut squash soup. Soups didn’t arrive piping hot which would have been my preference but it was good. Tomato soup was fresh but nothing out of the ordinary. The Butternut squash soup was different. It was sweet and savory. Sweetened by the candied bacon bits that was offset by the goat cheese ravioli. Really good start to the meal.
The real stars were of course the Savory grilled cheeses which were our main courses. My nephew ordered The Big Buff which is basically a leveled up, sophisticated and classy fried chicken breast sandwich, all dressed up in “Melt’s house blend of melted cheese.” He loved it. The Big Buff came with a side of blue cheese which was a perfect accompaniment to the sandwich.
I ordered the Burrata! Yes folks, it’s called Burrata! (Exclamation point included!). And I must agree that exclamation point definitely needed to be part of the sandwich name. My imagination may have run wild but it tasted like a whole Burrata, again covered by the trademark house cheese melt blends, was in that sandwich. It looked and tasted heavenly, oozing with exactly the right amount of cheesy goodness. The reality was much better than my imagination. It came with a side of honey for that sweet and salty balance. Perfection!
So happy to have finally tried Melt Grilled Cheesery. They’re still on soft opening so cash payment basis only but they do offer a 10% discount because of this.
Food portions are huge so it’s good for sharing. Service is excellent and the place is cozy. I will definitely go back to try the other menu items.
Update as of December 4, 2017. I have been to Melt in Molito a total of 3 times now and the two previous times I’ve been I’ve found no fault in their sandwiches. I decided it was time to invite my family to try it out and we were there for lunch at 11 am.
I ordered the usual favorites and tried a couple more that I haven’t tried, and was sorely disappointed that the quality of the sandwiches was vastly different than the first few times I’ve been. It was a huge step back from the oozing, buttery, crunchy goodness that it was. Now it was a bit dry and seemed to be half the height it used to be. What a let down.
And to think they’re still in the soft opening stage. I was sad that my family couldn’t enjoy the same sandwiches I was raving about in my first review. They probably thought I was nuts to rave about it in the first place. I wish restaurants in the Philippines can be more consistent in their food service.
