Staff were very accommodating, polite and attentive to your needs. My fave foods like lamb, steak, arugula, garlic buttered shrimp, and green tea ice cream were all there.

We dined last Father’s day for lunch. The buffet spread was good with a lot of different choices. They also served all day breakfast so if you like bacon for lunch, you’re in for a treat. I was pleasantly surprised cos bacon is life😊 . The hotel also had an activity every Sunday for the kids. It was painting a dad tool box, when we went. It was free for hotel guests and restaurant diners.

Food here is good. It rarely gets full also. There are times the waiters / waitresses won’t notice you but they really are helpful. I really like their mongolian station and you can get the fruits and have it cut. The juices tho are an extra payment sadly. Some food items are kind of bland for my taste but everything is really filling. The bread pudding is a must try.

I've been here twice and they never disappoint when it comes to their buffet, my favorite of all was their Pork Belly, very well seasoned and tender. Food selection wise, limited.

The interior of the place was majestic, the ambiance was soothing. It's a great place for a birthday celeb or even a get together with friends place. 🤙🤙🤙

Cafe d' Asie has been a favorite of ours for the last 4 years, would be longer, but that is when I moved here. With a change in jobs, we have been eating later than normal and we are very happy to be able to say that the buffet is just as fresh and supplied with delicious food at 9:50 PM as it is at 7:00 PM.  This along with the ever-present, cordial staff is what keeps us coming back.  Alabang is blessed with a lot of choices when it comes to food service and it is this attention to detail that makes it stands above the rest for us.  All of the pictures that we have uploaded were taken after 9:15 PM.

Dined during Christmas eve and we love the puto bumbong and bibingka. Nice also yhat they included hot chocolate and cold taho. No picture but always to die for are their bacon! Now they serve it either soft or crispy, so you can choose! Pastries has lots of varieties to choose from from ensaymada, blueberry and strawberry danish, cheese roll, different croissants. Eggs can be sunny side up, boiled or scrambled.

I can definitely say that the place looks awesome. But I just didn't feel satisfied with the food choices. It was as if there were more desserts than the actual Main course. But I love that they have Japanese food in check.

Eating at buffet restaurants gives us the freedom to eat anything that we want and how much we want it. In short, you get a lot of options. Sometimes it’s hard to choose which dish will come first or we are to focused on the same dish over and over again especially if it is delicious. Well, everyone of us has a technique on how we can maximize the price that we’re paying for buffet. We recently tried the Cafe d’ Asie of Bellevue Manila. They may not have luxurious dishes  or set up that we get to see from other hotel buffet but I must say the buffet price is worth it.  We sampled some of their hot items and special dishes which I am happy to recommend.

I got a chance to attend their Steak & Wine night last August, and I must say, their steak was pretty good. All Saturdays last August, Cafe d' Asie offered a steak & wine buffet. Although there were still some dishes present in the buffet area, most of it was a different kind of steak.

It was a seafood Friday when we had our lunch at Cafe D’ Asie, Bellevue Manila, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The buffet restaurant is located at the 2nd floor of the hotel. We were seated at the round table which can accommodate at least 10 persons per round table.

We started our journey with the soup of the day. Followed by some specialties of the house which were served in our table. We also had some steaks and fish at the carving station of the buffet. And finally we had some gelato and pastries paired with coffee for our sweet ending.

For Php1,390.00, I really enjoy these wide spread during our lunch. There were so much varieties of seafood and dishes I can choose. I fell in love with the baked lobsters, prawns and creamy pasta with tartufo. Ang sarap!

Overall, it was so SULIT. The price were very reasonable or affordable ‘coz you’re eating in a first class hotel.

Definitely, I will be back again.

Starting your day with a Buffet will never be a bad idea. That’s basically what i felt after having a beautiful brunch at The Bellevue Manila’s Cafe D’ Asie, their premier buffet restaurant situated at the 2nd floor of the hotel. The all day buffet goes for P1540 per head and commences at 11am, guests could also avail their breakfast buffet which costs P770 per person up until 10AM.

The dining hall was huge and the first thing that really caught my eye was the giant crystal chandelier suspended from the ceiling. It gave a really strong impression and gave the space a sense of grandiosity. The atmosphere at Cafe D’Asie itself felt very intimate and sophisticated which is perfect for celebratory families or for special Work functions.

They also picked an awesome day to invite us because every friday they hold their Seafood Fridays buffet where they serve a variety of seafood prepared in a myriad of ways. My personal favorite dish was their Sauteed Shrimp with Garlic. The light handed way they prepared this dish made me appreciate the sweet and delicate shrimp which was accentuated by the fragrant garlic butter.

Another hit was their Crabs Ala Pobre which were crabs drenched in a savory, sweet, and spicy sauce. The crabs themselves were really sweet and juicy. The chunky sauce gave the crabs a nice oriental flavor had just the right balance of flavor that everyone could appreciate (even the pickiest kids). Both dishes go so well with their really tasty Fried rice with seafood and Pineapple the bits of seafood mixed in which gave it a nice umami flavor that you might even enjoy just having rice. They also have a really good Grilled Fish with Mango which pared a really meaty and clean tasting white fish with fresh and juicy mangoes and peppers. This dish was really bright and colorful and had a really great contrast of flavors and textures.

They also have an impressive selection of fresh seafood from chilled lobsters, shrimp, and clams to a range of the finest locally sourced fish. You can have them cooked to order with your own choice of sauce and delivered to your table. I really enjoyed their grilled Maya-Maya or Snapper which had such a clean and meaty flavor even without much seasoning. Our table was lucky enough to have a special serving of Butter Garlic Shrimp, Creamy Baked Lobster, and Salmon Sinigang. The Buttered Shrimp was a richer and more intense compared to the Sauteed shrimp (and would be soo good with tons of rice) While the Creamy Baked Lobster had a delicious cheesy crust and a sweet interior, the Lobster was noticeable fresh and tender. The Salmon Sinigang was alright but it would have been better if the sourness of the broth was a little more intense.

Meat lovers, don’t have to worry either because they didn’t completely forget about us. While a majority of the dishes are seafood there's a huge of roast Rib-Eye Steak at their carving station ready to be sliced by the chef. They also offer a selection of sauces for the steak to give it more personality and pizzaz. The steak itself was a real treat, cooked just around medium well, it had a well developed crust and the tender and juicy interior which was wonderful with the peppercorn gravy that I chose. You should also try their baked Tuna which was like Fish Lechon, the flesh was really meaty while the skin was spiced to perfection. The real treat was their Creamy Pasta with Tartufo which looked so simple and bare but was packed with so much richness in flavor. What really gave this an edge was the copious amount of truffle sprinkles which gave it an earthy and intense umami flavor without overwhelming the senses.

Dessert lovers will not be disappointed thanks to the fabulously diverse spread of baked goods, tarts, cakes, mousse and puddings. These desserts are made in house and will surely appease your sugar cravings. I really went to town on their selection of Arce Dairy Ice Cream which had a lot more flavors than you’ll find in even the most well stocked Grocery and Deli. For those who like classic flavors, you will enjoy their Dark Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla ice cream. While those who want something more adventurous could try out their Coffee, Avocado, or Matcha Green tea. I suggest trying their Indian Kulfi ice cream which was more on the unconventional side but the exotic blend of sweetness and spice will surely win you over.

Overall, I was quite impressed with the outcome of my Brunch (let’s call it brunch) at Cafe D’Asie. Although this buffet is on the more pricey side and the spread might not be as extensive as other buffets most dishes are executed perfectly and tastes just as good as ala carte dishes in luxe restaurants. Their servers are also performing at the highest level of perfection and cater to your demands and wishes regarding the food. While the interiors might feel a bit dated it still works because it retains a certain sense of nostalgia and novelty that gives buffets at upscale hotels a little more prestige.

Cafe d' Asie boasts of their colorful selection of choice seafood for their patrons. Located at the reknowned Bellevue Manila, Cafe d' Asie is a busy stop for hotel guests and even patrons from nearby offices. The general circular theme was pleasing to the eye, with round tables with lazy susans, plus the oculus-like opening in the middle that gains you access to the lobby downstairs and a fantastic chandelier up top as the focal point of the restaurant.

What impressed me most was the grill station and kitchen, where one can choose from their fresh selections and have them cooked to your liking. They also have several stations - pasta station, Mongolian, Vietnamese and Japanese stations, the bread and salad sections, the fresh seafood stops, a Filipino station and of course, the dessert bar!

For their menu of the day, I enjoyed the hot ginger mussel soup or tinolang tahong. It was comforting through and through. One tip I got was to get another bowl of soup after the dessert to kind of wash all the fullness and umay away. This tinolang tahong was gold!

From their hot items, I had several helpings of the Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce. Very light but quite flavorful, I can eat a lot and still have room for the main entrees.

I also chowed down on Grilled Fish with Mango and Tomato Salsa. Each slice of fish has those beautiful grill marks and cooked just right, and carefully complemented with the fresh flavor of the mango and tomato salsa.

Their Sauteed Shrimp in Garlic was quite appetizing too! Delicate peeled shrimp, cooked perfectly till their pink orange sauteed in garlic with delicious sides of greens. No reason not to get more of this!

The Crab ala Pobre was tasty and rich, although I was expecting a little more heat to this dish.

We also had trayfuls of their specials including Buttered Garlic Shrimps and Creamy Baked Lobsters. Both dishes did not disappoint and we gorged ourselves with more and more seafood!

Their buffet carving for that day includes Baked Fish, which you can season to taste. There is also Ribeye Steak together with a whole arsenal of sauces. I enjoyed mine medium rare this time with some horse radish and Dijon mustard.

Ending the buffet right with their wonderful array of mini-cakes and dessert show pieces. One of my favorites was the Sugar-Free Chocolate Mousse, creamy and rich with dark chocolate bitter finish.
Another favorite is their Warm Pudding, with Vanilla and Chocolate sauce. I recommend adding a dollop of ice cream too!

Apart from this, kudos to Bellevue Alabang's Cafe d' Asie staff who went above and beyond our expectations when it comes to personal requests from our table.

It was also sheer luck to be part of the team to experience Cafe d Asie's hospitality on the day of my birthday. Like most restaurants, they also entertain birthday gatherings and even are gracious enough to provide a cake with greetings with matching birthday song.

I personally recommend to stop by Cafe d' Asie when you're in the south. Indulge in their mouthwatering seafood buffet for just over a thousand pesos, and experience the world-class hospitality of The Bellevue Alabang as well in a whole new perspective.

Thank God it’s Friday! I am always excited for this day to come because this means few more hours and it’s already weekend. No work, I can wake up late and relax all day which I think I need for working the whole week. But wait, how did I spend my Friday?? Right after my morning work, Hubby and I headed to Cafe d’ Asie of The Bellevue Manila located along Northgate Alabang to spend lunch with some fellow Zomato Foodies from the South. Friday is the Seafood day of Cafe d’ Asie (What a perfect timing, I’m craving for some shrimps!yahoo!).

Who loves Eat All You Can at a reasonable price? Who can’t resist the temptation? I was invited to try the buffet of Cafe D Asie located in Bellevue Manila, Alabang. It was a sea of different menu from starters down to desserts. I was actually stunned because of the enormous area with great interior and cozy atmosphere.  The café is located at the second floor of the hotel. Staff are accommodating and approachable.

The all-day buffet (Lunch and Dinner) is at P1, 390.00 from Monday to Sunday while the Breakfast buffet from Monday to Sunday is at P770.00.

The food was properly arranged accordingly to type of cuisine. Food can easily be located and distinguished because of the nameplate.

I decided to go first to the Salad Section, which is one of my favorite spots. I admit that I’m health conscious. You can either ask the staff to prepare your salad or Do-It-Your own. It was a fulfilling starter for me because of the overloaded toppings of my salad plus a slice of medium rare rib eye steak. You can never go wrong with the Seafood Section, in which they offer fresh tuna, salmon, shrimps, lobster and the likes. For the Carbs Section, they have white rice, fried rice and pasta.  The Sushi Section offers different colorful rolls. There were also separate tables for the desserts from cakes, fruits and different variety of ice creams.

Although I haven’t tried all the food, I can guarantee that all the dishes are properly prepared and cooked.

Other info: Aside from buffet, they also offer Ala Carte for both hotel guests and walk-in diners.

Being the venue of our highschool Junior-Senior Promenade, Bellevue has taken a special place in my heart. Interestingly, our visit today was reminiscent of my youth and the memories I had in Cafe d' Asie.

The cafe boasts a warm and cozy vibe. The color tones was slightly-muted to exude this relaxing and calming ambience.

As for the food, it felt as if my palate was meeting with an old friend. We had lunch buffet and eventhough the selection was quite limited, I can definitely say that I enjoyed the experience. Aside from their friendly and accommodating staff, they served food with finesse.

Their Rib Eye Steak was my personal favorite. I requested for it to be well-done and I was not disappointed. The Baked Fish was also delectable.

They likewise served Salmon Sinigang, Buttered Garlic Shrimp, and Creamy Baked Lobster. Unlucky for me, I wasn't able to taste it due to my allergy. Be that as it may, their serving was really generous. Also, the presentation of the food was commendable. Just by mere sight, you'll undeniably salivate!

Overall, the experience was really congenial. I wouldn't think twice in recommending this to friends and family.

Café D’ Asie is just plain superb. Very friendly and accommodating staff; good ambiance; platters and servers were refilled everytime; and the food were all exquisitely prepared.

At first I wondered why there were so many seafood and very little chicken, pork, and beef. I forgot that I was in a seafood buffet 😂 Café d’ Asie elevated my standards of what Seafood Buffet should be.

Scattered around me were fresh and cooked seafood! I’m not talking about the usual buffet seafood where there’s only a few pieces of tiny shrimps, a little of crab, some cream dories, and no more. Here, you’ll have GIGANTIC seafoods of different kinds. They’re too big you won’t even see it in Dampa.

-FRESH SELECTIONS-
For the fresh seafood, they have big prawns, lobsters, clams, oysters, mussels, tuna, salmon, and a wide range of fishes I’m not familiar with (the important thing is that their delicious. LOL 😂). You may request these to be cooked your way or. I suggest trying the lobsters baked and with cheese; then the shrimp with butter and garlic.

-SALAD-
The salad bar was phenomenal! It tastes so good as though you’re not eating salad. You can do it your way or ask that it be mixed for you. Either ways, you have the freedom to put whatever you want INCLUDING THE BACON FROM THE BREAD SECTION and the different kinds of CHEESE beside it which (I guess) forms part of the bread section too. Your food, your rules.

-BREAD SECTION-
There’s 7-10 kinds of bread prepared by their chef. Baguettes are freshly sliced upon request while the others are small enough for one person.

-SUSHI BAR-
There’s roughly around 12 from this section but I only tried their smoked fish sushi since the rest are mostly raw. It was also a good choice, very smoky and flavorful and not too big for one bite.

-COOKED FOOD-
There were about 15 cooked dishes and my top 5 are: the hakaw-like dish with steamed bokchoy, Tuna with Mango Salsa, beef from the carving station, pesto, and the embutido looking dish from the separate displayer. Try everything, they all look good and everything that I tried were really tasty.

-DESSERTS-
The center display table has around 20 or more desserts. There were tiny cakes, tarts, eclairs, and others. I only tried their three-fruit tart since I’m not into sweets. It was either a lucky choice because it was unexpectedly super yummy or maybe, everything on the display counter tastes as good as they look. BTW, they have Arcy Dairy Ice Cream on the side near the tables at the back of a big post (I think there’s 12 flavors available).

Literally everything that I’ve tried at Café d’ Asie were really good. And again, they're all mabait. Bring your friends and family here. It’s definitely worth the money.

*Will reupload photos for better appreciation. These were transferred (uploaded-downloaded) though FB, hence the lack of quality.

Had a foodie gathering lunchtime at this chic five star hotel in Alabang .Bellevue Manila has several restaurants tucked under its wings and one of them is Cafe d' Asie,a premiere buffet restaurant .

First the interiors elegant ,soft lit and have that intimate feel and vibe.Great for dates and even business gatherings.

The food; as this is a buffet there are several stations ,the salad,Japanese ,Mongolian, pick of the day or fresh seafood station,Filipino ,Western ,meat carving ,pasta and dessert stations.

Cafe d' Asie's buffet style is a bit different from others as I've noticed they focused more on fresh produce and seafood ,great selection of fishes like grouper, red snapper, pink salmon, tuna, pampano and Mani mahi and a bounty of shrimps and shellfish too .Its unlike the usual smorgasbord where they will bombard you with vast selection of dishes. Here ,they provide the right number of food choices which is very nice idea so that the diner can focus and appreciate the dishes more.As seafood is the focal point of most of the dishes eating here is not that saturating and not so heavy in the belly.

List of dishes that were impressive:

*Grilled Fish(Mahi mahi) with mango and tomato salsa.
*Asparagus in Hollandaise Sauce
*Salmon Sinigang
*Baked Fish(Tuna)
*Creamy(Bechamel) Baked Lobster
*Buttered Garlic Shrimp
*Steamed Mantis Shrimp
*Filipino Bread Pudding 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
*Kulfi Flavor Ice Cream(Indian)
*Different cheeses
*Fresh seafood (for grilling)
*Desserts.

Overall great dining experience a bit different from others ,and as I've said not that saturating .An option if you're more into seafood diet."SEEfood"via seafood.👍🏼

After a toxic night in the office, my partner and I decided to look for a peaceful place to enjoy a good breakfast before calling it a day. A place so serene where you can enjoy a good selection of food. I am a person who can eat bread, muesli and fruits all day, so yes, I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. For the breads, you can choose from danish, baguette, toasts, waffle, etc. then they have fresh fruits, ham( i don't really liked this because it's sweet), sausage, salads, oh and they serve good coffee too.

After our wedding we had our reception here. We avail for a lunch buffet for 40 persons. It is better to be a member first (Bellevue signature dining) to get a huge discount. It was a big help plus a free night at the main wing if you're a member. The stuff were friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and divine! Our guests remembered how great the food was. Can't wait to celebrate with Bellevue again soon. 😍

During our 3 days 2 nights stay at The Bellevue Manila, we tried their lunch and dinner buffet and it was fantastic! The price of Php1,390 (US$27) is so reasonable. A lot of food varieties they cater; from Chinese to Korean to Pasta to Indian to Western to Japanese to Filipino to amazing sweets & desserts! So cheap! I took a lot of photos since, I really like how extensive their stations of foods are! One of the best buffets I've tried in Manila with a very reasonable price.

For Christmas eve lunch, the family decided to spend it at a nearby hotel restaurant since in the evening we will be busy preparing for Noche Buena. Christmas 2015 we dined for the last time at Jeepney Cafe of Intercontinental Manila and this year we thought of having lunch at somewhere familiar. We've dined at Cafe D'Asie numerous of times, during hotel check in, company breakfast meetings, the occassional surprise Birthday dinner. Since Bellevue Manila opened in 2004, this is the hotel our family frequents. Mom used to be a be a hotel membership cardholder too.

We did not have prior reservations for lunch so I was already expecting a huge crowd. To our surprise, when we arrived at around 11:20am there was no crowd except for a couple of large tables occupied. We were quickly ushered to our seats by the windows and asked for the a la carte menu. We seldom do buffets since the two seniors are not big eaters. We would like to commend the very personalized service of their wait staff. We ordered the follow: Hainanese Chicken with rice and soup, Pancit Bihon, Chicken Barbeque with mashed potatoes and asparagus and a philly cheesesteak sandwich.

After taking our orders we were told that the wait time would be 45 minutes. I was shocked by the length of time but the staff assigned to our table quickly explained that it was because of the huge number of orders coming from room service. But isn't it suppose to test the hotel's capacity to handle the demand. Sensing my hesitation, he was quick to pacify my flairing temper by offering complimentary soup while we wait. After taking our orders he was quick to serve 4 bowls of tomato soup with croutons. After 15 minutes have lapsed he then served a platter of seasonal fruits, again complimentary. We did not notice the time since we enjoyed the appetizers and making small talk that our orders came in before the 45 minutes time was over. Again, a long wait time but since we were given a heads up with sincere apology we did not mind at all. If we were famished then it would be a totally different story.

My Mom liked the Chicken rice and ginger soup but was disappointed with the chicken hainanese because it was dry. For a steamed chicken, they managed to overcook. Same goes with my chicken barbeque. What i wanted was baked potato to go with my chicken so i was surprised that i was served with mashed potatoes. I did not bother to have it replaced since it may take them an additional 45 minutes just to change it. We did enjoy though the pancit. Serving was so big. It was a platter of pansit. They did not scrimp on the ingredients either. It was packed with meat and very flavorful. It came with a couple of buttered toasts.

Right after, a dessert sampler was also served compliments again. It had cheesecake, a square chocolate cake, fruit tarts and a couple of cream puffs. Although the food was underwhelming. It surely was nothing short of great service. It turned what could have been a forgettable lunch into something positive. Recommended with reservation. Senior discount honored.

Boyfie brought me here for our first Valentines Day together. They have a very wide selection of cuisines here. But we absolutely loved the dessert aisle the most! They have lots of diff chocolate samplers to choose from. I think I went back there for like three times. Lol. They also served complimetary red wine and gave out single long stemmed roses for the ladies since it was Vday afterall. Overall, the ambience was great. Staff was very accomodating. But I think it wouldnt hurt also if they would update their interiors to make the place even more cozy and romantic.

Our stay entitled us to a breakfast buffet here. They have a good selection. There are Pinoy offerings like dried squid and fish, there several pastries and pancake. A cheese section, a Japanese one, some Indian options, congee and noodles. I really and could have tried everything but was too full from the previous night's dinner so I had fresh fruits which was so delicious and just what I needed. We definitely hope to be back soon and I will make sure I will eat breakfast like a Queen. The Bellevue Hotels & Resorts

We tried the "Breakfast Buffet" as part of the Weekend promo of the hotel. My partner and I enjoyed the food. I think they just need to add more chairs and tables especially if there are heaps of guests staying. The juice and hot choco are too sweet, luncheon meat is dry and some foods are a bit salty. All in all, I think we will go back and try it again. I hope there will be more desserts and pastries.

For all the laid back Southerners, Cafe D' Asie is at your service for your big cravings. No need to go a the way to Makati for the fancy buffet restaurants.
Though not remotely close to the vast selection of Sofitel or Spirals, Bellevue Hotel's buffet offering is a must try. They offer world class dishes from American to Japanese, Chinese and Filipino dishes. On weekends, they serve the very tasty US Prime rib too! For P1390 net lunch or dinner, I'd say it's worth it!

My Mom and Aunt had a "Breakfast Buffet" Company Team Building Event at Bellevue. Upon arriving at the venue, the first thing you will really notice is the nice classy ambience. The layout was very nice and coordinated from appetizers, to breakfast favorites, out of the usual (ex, Sushi, Maki and etc) to something for the kids.

It's self serve; however the staff was very nice and tries their best to please. They try their best to anticipate your needs from coffee, to taking your picture with your companions.

Food left a lot to be desired, as most of their offerings failed to impress and not to mention even feel short of what to expect from them. What really irritated me was their bacon. It was really tough as it was burnt and not cooked to the perfect crisp. Russian salad was hard as well.

I did however enjoy their veal sausage, french toast and pancakes with lots of whipped cream and maple syrup.

Would i recommend this to anyone? Well give it a fair shake... .. be warned thou  there are some hits and there are some misses.

Thank God for Cafe d'Asie that I don't have to venture further up north for a good buffet :-) Though I don't claim to be a buffet expert (and I've been to several such places), I must say that their dinner spreads is one of my favorites. I specifically like their Japanese (Salmon Sashimi) and Meat sections. I've been here twice and the next time I visit, I ought to try their Indian and Korean dishes too. After getting stuffed with all their offered goodness, make sure to leave some space for dessert - and trust me, you don't want to miss out on that :-)

Our favorite buffet in the south! Both the breakfast and lunch spreads have been rich and satisfying. One of my favorite parts is the cheeses, which are available for both. For lunch they have a fantastic prime rib, my husband's favorite. Service and coffee are good.

We come here just for their good pastries. The breads are enough to cover for a full meal for somebody like me. It's a good place to enjoy a cup of coffee and even to wait for a friend.

Bellevue hotel's stakeholders is a majority of the Chinese / Japanese community clients (Toyota, Hyundai, Nikon, etc) in the Alabang business district area. That's why it didnt came as a surprise to me when i found Hakaw in their Chinese buffet station. Slow traffic on a weekday lunch so if you're looking for some quiet meal time away from the restaurant buzz, this is your best bet.

I have been here several times and you will be overwhelmed once you see their food selection. Buffet for breakfast is what I have done a couple of times. You would want to try all that they can offer. :)

When we arrived at Cafe d'Asie for their lunch buffet, this huge elegant chandelier greeted us, overlooking the floor below. To the left are the dining tables, cozy and casual in feel, while to the right is the buffet spread.

Both the lunch and dinner buffet are priced at P1,390 nett. Children 6 to 12 years old are charged half the price which is P695 nett, and kids 5 years old and below eat free of charge. For the breakfast buffet, you can enjoy their profferings at only P770 nett. Pretty affordable compared to other hotels', considering their selection is pretty abundant.

We started with some salad, theirs has different types of greens, as well as veggies and eggs. There are four dressings you could choose from, and there are also some ready-made cold salads you can try. Aside from this, there's a section of cold cuts with smoked milkfish to boot.

I, for one, don't usually pass up the cheese station. Give me about three to four choices, and you won't hear me complaining. Along with the cheese are crackers, dried fruits, nuts and a bowl of honey. Oh, and they have a bread station, too, filled with various dinner rolls.

One of my favorite cuisines is Japanese, and luckily this is usually included in any international buffet. I took a bit of sushi here and there, trying out those whose names I don't know, but are pretty enough to eat. I helped myself to a large serving of sashimi---both the salmon and tuna---as I could devour these pretty easily especially when they're fresh.

A hodgepodge of cuisines litter the buffet: Indian, Mongolian, Korean, Chinese. There's a grill station where you can opt to have your seafood and meat charred with that smokey mouth feel. There's rice if you're up for it, and a couple of soup choices to warm the stomach.

For the hot dishes, that day they served Chicken with Mushrooms, Sweet and Sour Pork, Potato with Herbs, Pan Fried Fish with Florentine Sauce, Buttered Vegetables, and Beef Stroganoff.

More often than not, I skip the hot dishes unless I see something that's intriguing enough for me to try. There's only so much food I can take so I'd rather save the space for the usual suspects like cheese, salads, sushi and sashimi, made-to-order seafood, desserts, and the US Roasted Rib Eye.

What can I say? It deserves your prime gustatory real estate. My hubby and I are always lucky to experience an outstanding prime rib whenever we're at Circles, and so far among the hotel buffets we've tried (Spiral, Market Cafe, Marriott Cafe, and Paseo Uno to name a few), our vote still goes to them when it came to this steak. Until now. I can't believe that an equally good rib eye resides just a few minutes away from us. Moist, tender, oozing with flavor; every bite of my medium rib eye slice was heaven. I simply had to return for another round.

Another thing that sealed the deal? Café d'Asie's dessert roundup.

There were fresh fruits, and ice cream complete with a plethora of sprinkles and marshmallows for toppings. There was this Bread and Butter Pudding I regret not having since it earned quite a number of thumbs up from fellow bloggers.

At the center of it all was a pyramid of petits fours comprising Pandan Cream Cake, Ube Mango Cake, Cherry Cheesecake, Lemon Curd, Mango Mousse, Florida Cake, Blueberry Crumble, and assorted Fruit Tartlets.

Few, yes -- again when compared to other hotels' dessert lineup. Simple, maybe, but that's debatable. The difference lies in that their cakes are better than other hotels' -- moist, not too sweet, and I've mentioned this before, these beautiful little treats are not put there just for the sake of filling the dessert station. Every bite is enjoyable; a wonderful ending to a scrumptious and delightful meal.
